I took my older dog to this pet salon for grooming yesterday, hoping for a positive experience. From the start, the groomer was not the friendliest and seemed irritated when I asked about different cut options. As someone who isn't familiar with grooming blade lengths, I was expecting a little guidance, but instead, I got attitude. When I picked up my dog, he looked fine at first glance, so I paid and even tipped. However, once we got home, I noticed a trail of blood and found a cut on his back foot. It's hard to believe the groomer didn't see this before handing him back to me. Either they ignored it, or they just weren't paying attention--neither of which is acceptable when working with animals. There was another groomer I saw who was more kind/welcoming but overall just not a good first experience and I won't be returning. read more

Our dog has been groomed twice with no issue before and she always came out looking spectacular. (see the picture) We brought our Golden Doodle (Daisy Mae) to Fuzzy Paws at a friends recommendation. First let me say our Doodle is brushed every day and her hair is fluffy and curly which means you cannot just run a brush or comb through it and she was bathed by us just two days ago. Here is the brush that is used everyday by us: https://www.petsmart.com/dog/grooming-supplies/brushes-combs-and-blowdryers/only-natural-pet-pin-bristle-dog-brush-58150.html I'm wrong but the definition of matted hair doesn't mean you are unable to run a comb through it with no resistance like clean and straight human hair. So about 10 minutes after we drop her off we get a call that her legs are matted and the areas behind her legs are also matted so they need to shave her down to of an inch. The grooming had already started on her body so it was my understanding that we had a couple of options: 1) Not groom her legs, 2) take her as she was, 3) let the grooming continue. Hind sight being perfect we should have had them stop immediately when they said she was matted and gone to pick up our dog. We are not pleased with the outcome as can be seen from the attached photos showing grooming completed by another groomer in May of 2025, a picture before she went to Fuzzy Paws, and when she came home from Fuzzy Paws. Our guess is that they don't want to take the time and do the job correctly but rather say the dog is matted shave them and move on to the next paying customer. read more

Interesting, back you don't walk in with five or $6000 worth of dog and not pay for your nail trim. Please that's offensive in itself every time I've been there. I've never been asked to pay until I'm done. That's OK. There are tons of places who would want my business And wouldn't be rude to me. read more

I called on a Tuesday morning to get a haircut appointment for my Pomeranian and they had an appointment that morning, or a week from then. I took the last minute one and was really happy with my choice. I added some before and after photos. My dog was happy when I picked her up and looked great. My maltipoo (4 y/o) and shih tzu (7 y/o) both got groomed here, on different days. During both times, we had a pleasant experience thanks to the staff here and the groomers Joanne and Cheyenne. The salon is very accommodating as my shih tzu can be a nervous dog when it comes to very loud noises. It was his first time and they let me stay for a bit until he felt more comfortable. There's a room for the dogs to play and socialize until the groomers gets them. I got a call an hour and a half later letting me know he was ready for pick up. Super quick and efficient! I have an 8-year-old Shih Tzu who doesn't eat much. He is fed and has treats daily. His diet consists of just treats and milk at this point. He lost a lot of weight. The handler made me feel like I don't feed him. She was very unfriendly and unprofessional. He has been brought to the Vet and I tried new food for his type. Ate for a while then slowed down again. I don't like someone who doesn't even know us making me feel like I starve my dog. Find another place to bring your dog. read more

I went back and forth about even writing this review because honestly, the groomers here do a good job and their prices are actually very good. I won't be returning, however, because of the way my last two visits have been handled. My dog had a horrible experience with another groomer, so I made an appointment with the owner (Darcy) over email directly for a Saturday at 10AM and expressed to her the issues I had with the other salon. When I arrived to drop my dog off, the groomer advised me my appointment was actually at 1pm, and that I was welcome to leave her until then but the owner was out of town and she wasn't able to do anything else without her being there. Because my dog is very skittish around groomers now, I didn't want to leave her for over 3 hours; and after driving over 20 minutes was understandably a little frustrated. I took her home, then drove another 20 minutes to bring her back at 1 and emailed Darcy. I picked her up and everything was great, then a few hours later Darcy emailed me back asking for me to give them another chance to make it right, offering me $20 off my next appointment. I thought this was really sweet, and brought my dog back a few weeks ago. When I went to pick her up this time Darcy was at the front desk, and when I went to pay she advised me it would be full price. I asked her about her email (they only accept cash, so I only pulled out enough for what she advised me and a tip).. She then told me the $20 off was actually supposed to be $10, and that it was a "typo" that she "realized right after she sent the email"... but didn't bother to tell me? I'm glad I factored in a $10 tip, otherwise it wouldn't have been enough. It's not about the money, it's the principal. It's that Darcy offered me a discount for their error then tried to tell me it was a typo for some reason, and somehow she didn't bother to advise me of this "typo" even though they only take cash. Unfortunately I'll have to find another groomer. After posting my review on Google, Darcy decided to lie about it. I understand we all make mistakes, but calling someone else a liar when you were in the wrong isn't okay. read more

This pet grooming shop is amazing. They really care and love animals which shows the minute you walk in. They allow dogs to roam free without being caged but will protect them if there is an aggressive dog. I have an extremely anxious and high energy Aussie. He has been kicked out of 3 grooming shops due to this issue. Joanne from Fuzzy Paws is the only person who can handle him and his issues. She does such a fantastic job on his cut. Took my 115 lbs dog in for a bath and a trim. From the time I dropped him off till they called he was done was 1 hr and 12 minutes. He was dry and ready to go.... Impossible!!!! Fuzzy Paws had put up flyers around my complex which is right across the street advertising their opening. I decided to call and send in my dog for a bath, nail trim, teeth cleaning, and other dog necessities. They got me in quickly, and Ralph was there for about an hour. When I picked him up, he smelled so good and was so fluffy! They took very good care of him, and the prices are VERY reasonable! They don't accept debit, cash and check only. ZERO stars should be an option. Aren't groomers supposed to be warm and fuzzy? I came here initially because I wasn't happy with our last groomer so I looked for another in the area. I guess to expect a pleasant experience is too much to ask for grooming? First time I came? They were rude. Guy up front had a sh*t face like he didn't want to be there. Just unpleasant. Well I tried anyways. They ended up not using the sensitive shampoo I asked them to use. I had to bring Bella back in for a bath after they said they would charge me when they didn't do it right to begin with. WHAT?! So of course I didn't pay for them to do it right. We've been a few times and they never get her cut right. Today, I show up for what I thought was our 9:30 appointment and in the rudest way the man walks up and says "we can't take her". I was shocked until they told me the appointment was at 9:15. I know for a fact my dog sits and waits her turn when I drop her off anyways. NEVER have they taken her straight in. Maybe they could've made an exception this one time I guess I made an honest made mistake? Nope! To the chambers! Out you go!!! Off with your head!!! They just rudely said no, "it puts other dogs behind". No exceptions just a rude ass no. My mistake. I had it in my calendar for 9:30. But again, it's all about attitude and approach. And would it REALLY have made that much of a difference? Either way. I won't be back. They're rude. They never get her cut right either. I'm surprised they're still in business. Dogs have a separate waIting area and groomers stations are down a hallway. This makes it clean and quiet! I was very pleased with my Poodle's grooming. I was able to book an appointment for him when needed. (This was not a last-minute appointment on my part but when I wanted to have him groomed.)
