We have been taking our dog to Oodles for the last year. My dog does not require haircuts, so she always gets a bath, dished, teeth brushing and nail cutting. This generally costs around $85. My dog always comes home super clean and soft. The staff always is warm and welcoming and seems excited to see my dog every time we come in. She hates the dryers, but they are always very patient and get her as fry as possible without completely stressing her out. At this time, there is a sign that says they aren't taking any new clients, but I would definitely recommend this groomer. I have 3 appointments on the hooks to ensure I always can get her seen. read more

I have a lab/put mix and he has had the worst experience on getting his nails done. I called and asked to bring him in based on a positive review from another customer. The staff was very welcoming and the ladies that hugged on Jack while he struggled a bit while they cut his nails. He was fighting back on one of his feet and the techs were very patient and kept trying got her his nails done well. We will be back to ensure our fur baby has his nails trimmed kindly. read more

I recently moved from L.A. to Chandler, AZ. and needed to find a groomer my rescued pitbull mix felt comfortable with. Her happiness is my only goal in life so I did some research and settled on Ooodles. They did not disappoint. From booking the appointment to pick up they were great! Dolce was hesitant as always to go with someone new, but when I picked her up she looked happy and clean! That is all I ask for when I send her to the groomer. They were very gentle and loving with her. The pricing was fair to me. Would a chop shop groomer be cheaper, maybe.....but I don't bargain shop when it comes to my fur baby. You get what you pay for folks. They got me in so quick my first time I didn't think I had to book her next appointment when I picked her up, but alas I should have. I just called to take her in again and at first I was told first appointment was over a month out! Luckily the nice receptionist did some checking and it's a two week wait instead. I booked the appointment because there is no point in trying to take her somewhere else. I'll just be sure to book her next appointment well in advance! Do not recommend. Staff is super rude, and the service is subpar. They said they needed to cut my dog's fur super short because it was matted. He gets it done once a month so it couldn't have been that bad that they couldn't trim it some and brush the rest out. Seems like they rushing dogs in and out and shaving them is the fastest. Also, his fur was much longer in a couple different areas as if the grooming was super rushed. read more

So thankful for Ooodles. I took her to petco last year and they SHAVED HER !! Because they couldn't "brush her out". Ooodles Pet Grooming did an amazing job, she had two big matting spots on her neck that she would not let me brush out, and they got it all ! Even her thick butt hair and hairy feet. So my dog decided he would rather sleep with me in my bed than his own when we moved to Arizona. I'm totally ok with this for the record, but I'm not ok when he's stinky! I decided to take him here and set up an apt over the phone. When I came in the girl at the front desk was not personable in the slightest but that's the only negative I can say about this place. I got Gus the bath, nails trimmed and ear cleaning. I dropped him off and ran some errands and they called about 35 minutes later saying he was ready. He was super comfortable being with humans he didn't know and they took great care of him! He smelled amazing and not like harsh chemicals or deodorants, he just smelled clean! First time was amazing, second time worst experience I've ever had. I booked an appointment almost a month in advance because both my dogs needed haircuts,baths and nail trims so I knew it would be a little wait which I was fine with. I take them in and the lady who checked me in said "ok one for a bath and one for a haircut right?" I said no. We were set for both dogs to get baths haircuts and nail trims. After going over the length of haircuts and what dog needed what we decided not to cut the labs nails just the other pups nails. So I leave and then about 45 minutes later I get a call saying that Coco(my youngest) would not let them do anything to her. Her breed is border collie which is so super friendly and just want love and affection so this was very surprising to me. I've always asked how the dogs do with grooming so that I know how they behave and never have gotten even a bite complaint or scratch complaint. So I asked what was going on and they said they needed two people to put her in the bath they couldn't even put a muzzle on her and couldn't apply any soap so she's just air drying. I said well what about the other one she said he was fine they are cutting his nails (which is the one we agreed not to cut) he got a deshedded but she doesn't recommend cutting his hair cause it's already short. At this point I was already annoyed so I just said ok can you just deshed coco then and she said she could ask her manager what to do or we can schedule another appointment. I asked if the dogs are ready for pick up then and she said coco was air drying because she wouldn't let anyone near her and not even to dry her with a towel. I went to pick them up and the lady said she didn't put her collar on and was going to have me do it because no one could get near coco. Coco was actually being very antsy so I put them in the car and I paid just for one dog but when we got home my husband actually pointed out how weird she was acting and that she wasn't walking right and she didn't want to go to her bed or anything and come to find out they cut one of her nails WAY to short. It was so red and at this point I felt so bad for bringing her to such a place. At this point I realized why she wasn't letting anyone near her. She was hurt and they were probably not being very comforting to her because like I said this puppy LOVES affection from anyone. They only did one nail and that was it. It would've been nice to hear "we accidentally cut her nail too short" instead of "your dog won't let anyone near her" It's places like these that make you hesitant to drop your dogs any where. read more

Today after 2 years of bringing my 9 year old multipoo and 6 months of bringing my 1 year old pups to oodles pet grooming. I had probably the worst of the worst experience today. My pup was struggling to go in today and asked if something happened the last time they came in and everyone was clueless. I then received a call after leaving about how i wanted the pups cut as they claimed there was no notes. The staff left a patch on my mothers 1 year old pup and shaved his head and messed his tail up. They only clipped part of my pups nails snipped the wic so bad on his front right paw he had dried blood. When questioned the response was they went by the notes left in the computer and that it was the pups fault. The cut was horrible. My mother spoke to the owner to try and work it out as we where upset. When the owner spoke to the staff, they chose to try and make me out to be the bad person for pointed out there faults, we where then told to find a new groomer and that they don't specialize in pups, but they have been cutting the pups for the last several months. It appears that when the owner is not around is when there are issues. It also appears that the choice in "groomers" is not the same quality as it once was. I then asked for the print out of the notes in the computer and one of the girls came and told the young lady at the front to write it out and "don't waste paper on me". There was no offer to fix anything. The Trauma my dogs went through today was horrible. They are very active pups and love to play. After the trauma they endured they won't move out of our laps. We took our goldendoodle for his first grooming to ooodles and they did an amazing job. Second time, it was horrible!!! I asked to do the same cut from first visit and it was completely misunderstood. They cut his hair supper short, gave him a bald spot under his leg, it's like they took a razor and shaved that spot. His face and ears were totally uneven, left side longer than right. I called and was not even offered to have it fixed. We will not be going back as this is not ok. read more

I am a new customer and called Ooodles on Saturday morning, got their voicemail and left a detailed message requesting a grooming appointment for my dog. I waited 4 days and never heard back from them so I called again on Wednesday. I mentioned they never called me back and they said they were busy and it would be 6 weeks until the next available appointment. No apology for not returning my call or the ridiculously long wait time to get a grooming. Obviously my dog needs a grooming right now and 6 weeks isn't going to work. This place needs to work on better customer service and also hire another groomer (or two). I will be taking my business elsewhere. read more

I wish had got the groomers name, to ask for her in the future. She did a great job trimming my Frenchies nails. My dog doesn't like the motorized trimmers, and she used a file and did a fantastic job. Also, she cleaned his ears and he came out non traumatized, like he does sometimes. I really appreciate that both of these items are available to walk ins and don't require an appointment, and the charges are reasonable. read more

I've been going here for the last year or so. I don't have any issue with the groomers they do a good job. They are friendly. My experience yesterday was as follows: I arrived at 1230p yesterday for Bo's appt with Claudia. A different groomer came to the counter. I said the was with Claudia. The groomer said "the schedule must have changed". I'm like ok. Then the groomer noted Bo was shaved /matted last time what length did I want to which I replied no, Bo was not matted/shaved last time. She's like oh I was reading notes. We agree on the cut. I got a text at 202p Bo is ready. I get there at 220 to pick him up. The Bo that was ready was not my Bo. Now it makes sense they mixed up the Bo's. My Bo won't be ready for another 35 min or so. I go back to work get a text at 308p Bo is ready. I got there at 416p. I paid the bill got my receipt, didn't look at until I got home. They had the audacity to charge me a late pick up fee since it was after 4pm. Even though they messed up twice; wrong groomer and I drove twice to get Bo. Called this morning spoke a "manager" Liz. She said she was familiar with the situation. I Started recapping the events. She was stuck on why didn't I speak up the groomer was Claudia and that I could have prevented this basically. Well then I just got all frustrated since I wasn't upset about who did the grooming. I was shocked that they charged me the late fee to begin with, then made it that I did something wrong. I was there on time the first time I was told Bo was ready. I was there in an hour the second time. I asked for the $10 refund and she said that's above her but will talk to the owner. I said great so is the owner and she said I can't give out personal information. The owners name is personal information?? Uhm it's actually public information. Dear owner (Brandy Couper) I understand it is difficult to find good help in this climate let alone a good manager. Liz clearly needs more training. She never apologized never took ownership of the errors and went as far as saying I could have prevented this debacle. Was my voiced raised you bet. Was i frustrated, absolutely. Your a manager Liz, get over it. Should never have gotten that far. You should have apologized immediately for the events and said you will check with the owner to refund me the $10 fee if you didn't have that authority. Simple customer service.. read more

We took ourl 2 frenchies and our English bulldog in, and the staff was GREAT!! Very friendly and knowledgeable, and great with the dogs.
