Most everyone was helpful except one Asian man at the loading dock. Refused to help me unload a very heavy box, a total stranger had to help me. I was told at the office that all I had to do to exchange a cabinet door was to ask. When I asked him he said he wouldn't help me without a number of the cabinet, even though I had the door right there. He said he didn't fucking care and walked away. I told him he needed to change his attitude and he just cussed at me and refused to help me. I called the office and a few other nice dock workers helped me out. I hope he gets fired. read more

Sales staff is great but the after-sale customer support is very poor. Once they make the sale, forget any support from management. They made mistakes on assembly and blame it on the installer. Then they try to charge you to come out and correct their own mistake. Their management communication is terrible. I would not do business with this company again. read more

It's not only always about how everything goes right the first time. Rather, I also like to consider how issues are resolved. Pius came recommended by our cabinet installers as the most affordable place, by far, in Seattle to find countertop material. My wife and I had been into Pius early in our search for countertops and were not approached by any sales associates. They all were either on their computers or the phone. We thought perhaps we had stumbled into a 'contractors only' store. We mentioned this to our cabinet installers they insisted we go back and only work with Elijah, who they have worked with many times. We followed their advice and found Elijah to be very helpful and knowledgeable. We looked at materials at two of their stores with Elijah and he was very patient with us. We selected a beautiful quartzite product in 2'x9' slabs and at what we thought was a very reasonable price in comparison to all the other shops we visited over a period of several months. Elijah calculated the number of slabs we would need, all of which would be 2x9' except for one 3x8'. We met Elijah at the warehouse to pick out our slabs. The warehouse is huge and was cold and poorly lit. They really need to get more light in there! We managed to find what we thought would be our slabs and scheduled delivery. This is when things went sideways on us. Elijah had to change up installers at the last minute, but assured us that our new installer was even a better choice for us. Turns out he was right! Our new team of three, led by Wei, arrived on time on a Friday morning. Wei said he had to switch out the slabs from the ones we selected because he had detected faint fracture lines in two of the four 2x9' we had selected, which were invisible to us. Then he pointed out that the single 3x8' we had picked out in the warehouse was a different shade than the 2x9' pieces and that it would be noticeable in our kitchen. We went down to his truck and he was absolutely right. LESSON LEARNED: With natural stone like quartzite, all your slab material has to come from the same shipment. The 2x9' and 3x8' slabs turned out to have been from different shipments. The difference wasn't noticeable in the poor warehouse light. Also....since quartzite is natural stone and not manmade like quartz, it can be porous and needs to be sealed several times a year (turns out it's easy to do and doesn't take long) Wei came up to our kitchen to measure and noticed a recessed area by two of our windows, which was not factored into the original layout. That meant we would require all 3x8' slabs rather than 2x9'. I could see what Wei meant. This meant the price would jump substantially and all the slabs would need to be 3x8' from the same shipment. We decided to let Wei pick the slabs since it was apparent he has a craftsman's eye. He also wanted all the slabs to be able to run together with the same color and grain. I have to admit, I called Elijah and lit him up. He understood and got right to work fixing the problem. We had to postpone the install for several days, but Elijah moved things around and got us back on track after the weekend. Wei and his team showed up with a load of 3x8' on their truck. At that point I thought my wife was going to have heart failure. The 3x8' had a very large grains running all through it and in a very different shade of grain too boot. Our original selection had some brown and gold running through it and was designed to pull together our cabinets and flooring. After much discussion and teeth grinding, we went with it and now we are happy we did. Wei measured to the nth degree and had to do some tricky calculations to fit into our corner window niches as well as calculate a long 45 degree cut. He also decided to cut at their shop, rather than make a huge mess in our shared condo garage. Cutting offsite, I was positive they couldn't possibly get the measurements close enough to be a good fit. Incredibly, within a few hours they returned and the countertops went together like a jigsaw puzzle. Unreal! Wei and crew then spent hours joining the pieces, checking the level on every square inch and polishing the seams. I can't describe how complex it was for Wei to select which pieces to cut in such a way that he could at least join the large seams in the natural stone to the best of his ability. At the end of the day, we have countertops that are definitely more of a 'statement' than we thought we wanted. However, we are loving them and have received tons of compliments on our "bold choice". All-in we still spent less than we would have elsewhere and the craftmanship of the install is wonderful. read more

I have used Pius for countertops and granite on 2 occasions and was able to get reasonable quality and a very competitive price. I purchased and scheduled countertops for my condo's kitchen and the price was below market. I did have to do the measuring and drawings myself, since they did not do the measurement or templating, and ensure that there was outside water and work area available since they cut on site. The other item was a kitchen island that we purchased by buying the wall and base cabinets, and then assembling ourselves. The price was reasonable, and if you purchase only the pieces, there is greater savings. The soft close doors and drawer glides are better than off the shelf IKEA/Lowes. I would recommend that you do your homework so that you go in prepared and know some of the questions that you need to ask. They will do some counseling, but sometimes they are busy or seem distracted. Expect and plan for some delay, since inventory may get depleted by a bigger job, or from some other supply reason. read more

Well, I have been here several times to do countertops but this time I needed an install..didn't want to do a complex install. I talked to one salesperson that just kind of said get the measurements, it will take a month here's my card. Well, he was impossible to get a hold of so I went back in on March 17th and talked to Mike. I told him I sent an email to another salesperson but had no response (still haven't). He took care of me gave me a good deal and amazingly, set my install for 8 days out, yesterday. The installers were excellent and we had a minor issue so I called Mike. Problem solved. Their prices are excellent ($350 for a slab?!) And the installers were spot on. Yes, customer service needs a bit of help (including the receptionist...she was MIA that day--but it was a Saturday). But otherwise I suggest you go. I order from there a few times a year but this was my first install and it wasn't that bad and it was 3 slabs (two 30" deep) and an island. Under $4000. Is it a pain in the arse to buy cabinets here? YES Does the quality vary widely? YES Is the customer service and communication spotty? YES Is this one of the cheapest possible places to find a fairly decent selection of cabinets and countertops? YESSSSSSS!!! Got a $800k+ house? Well, then go buy your cabinets from Savvy in Magnolia- those ladies are amazing and have consistent quality and excellent customer service. They are also about *3-5 times* the price. This place is all about the quick and dirty. It is the fast food of cabinets and countertops. You don't go to fast food because you want gourmet cuisine, delightful service, and lovely atmosphere- you go because you need something cheap and immediate. While I understand that the $2-5k you plunk down in here is a lot of money, but in the world of kitchen remodeling it is peanuts and here you are truly getting exactly what you paid for. BTW, you will have much better luck if you have a contractor deal with these folks on your behalf. If you are all about the DYI, then once again, you are getting what you pay for and you will end up needing to do a hefty amount of advocating for yourself and will need to know EXACTLY what you are doing to shop here. Otherwise, people who complain about this place are like people who complain about the tacos at Taco Bell. read more

Save yourself a headache, your money and do not buy cabinets/bathroom vanities here. I had the absolute worst experience with their product and the customer service of the management staff. I worked with a sales lady named Monica (the only hing I liked about this company.) she was kind, helpful, and did her best to help us. She ordered everything for our bathroom remodel (marble,cabinet, sinks, hard ware) She showed us the cabinets and marble that are displayed in the showroom. We decided to go ahead and order based on how the cabinets looked in the showroom. What I received to my home was a complete nightmare. I unpackaged the vanity and noticed scratches throughout the vanity. I also noticed cracked wood that they tried to glue back together. I was also unaware that their cabinets are made with plywood. The only solid wood in the vanity are the cabinet doors. The rest is made in cheap quality. I called immediately to advise them of the damaged item and spoke to the manager named Miko. She advised me of the return policy stating I would need to pay 25% of the vanity cost if I wanted to return the item. I advised her I wanted to return it but should not pay 25% of the cost as the item is damaged upon arriving. She said to bring the item in so they could look at it. I brought the item in the next day. Upon coming into the warehouse Miko immediately had a rude attitude. She was short with me, unapologetic, and frustrated. She wanted to see my vanity. I brought her to the vanity and she was looking at it with 2 other people speaking in another language. They talked and talked amongst each other and then she proceeded to advise me that the vanity was not damaged. I asked her how is the item not damaged with scratches and cracked wood? She said they do not consider this a damaged item and that I would be responsible for the full 25% charge for restocking the item. I told her I did not agree to the charge as the item came damaged and I did not want a damaged vanity in my new bathroom. She proceeded to tell me stories that had nothing to do with the situation trying to justify why I should pay 25%. I spoke with her calmly but she continued to get more frustrated. I could not justifying paying for a new item that came damaged. I asked if they planned to resell this damaged vanity and she could not answer my question. She finally called someone on the phone named Sally and said the customer doesn't agree to 25% charge. After getting off the phone she spoke to the other workers in a foreign language in a very frustrated manner. She then came to me and said "Fine, you pay 50$ for the labor that was used to put together this vanity." I decided to agree and pay for it. She then stormed off and left me with the vanity. I followed after her to do the return. Getting into the office she wouldn't look my way or speak to me. It was so awkward and I just wanted to get out of there as soon as possible. She did my return and wanted me to sign the receipt. Upon looking at the receipt the return difference wasn't for a 50$ charge as she promised but for 141.00. I advised her I didn't agree to the charge she calculated. She once again got frustrated and began to state I owed for the charge based pre tax of the entire order. I was charged over 1600 to my card. I explained this was completely incorrect and didn't make any sense as she was refunding me for the entire purchase minus the 50$ that I agreed to pay for the labor that went into making this vanity. She kept looking over the paperwork and flinging it around extremely annoyed. She finally realized that her math was off and had to refund me an additional amount. It came to a total of 54$ (as they charged me tax for the 50$). I tried to leave the store in a polite manner by telling her I appreciate her help and I'm sorry the experience of buying from them ended this way. She didn't respond at all and just stormed off. All in all terrible experience. I don't recommend this company to anyone. I ended up ordering a vanity from Costco for less cost, made of solid wood, gorgeous material and 15 inches longer then the cabinet they sold me. It was shipped for free as well! It is NOT WORTH IT to buy from this company. Good luck to everyone. I will post pictures of the damage that was on my vanity. 1/29/2016 UPDATE: Two days ago I received a call from the owner of Pius regarding my review and experience at their store. She called to apologize for my experience and advised me that this is not how they do business and she was sorry that I had this experience. She advised me that the return should have been made immediately as the item was indeed damaged and the money should have been refunded without question. She also advised me that she wanted to refund me the entire amount and compensate me for my time there. I was impressed that they care about my experience to call and make things right. I am floored by the service i got this evening at Pius! I came in knowing nothing about putting a bathroom together. I made major mistakes, my contractor was awful andre if it weren't for the folks at Pius. My family reunion would be held without a bathroom. Every one from the sales department to upper management treated me like family. They helped me correct my many mistakes. That's including the people in the warehouse who stayed after hours to accommodate yet another fouled up measurement. I seriously am impressed with the quality of merchandise as well as the attention to detail and craftsmanship. Customer service and great product....5 star. read more

We recently had Pius install some granite counters in our kitchen and the entire process from start to finish was excellent. The price was the best we found. I'm really surprised by all the bad reviews these guys have. We spent 3 months researching which stone would look best in our kitchen- and which company we wanted to do the install- I am very glad we used Pius for the job. They exceeded our expectations. In addition to the counters- we also bought a custom island (custom spots for microwave, bar fridge, and down drafting cook top)- and had their guy Alex come out and do the install and removal of the old island. It looks great and we found no issues with the cabinet quality at all. If you go to Pius- ask to work with John. He's the best guy they have. We worked directly with John and found him to be professional, knowledgeable, and responsive. He helped us figure out which stone would look best, allowed us to pick our slabs from the crates behind the showroom- and he even arrived at our house to inspect the counters once his 3 guys had finished the install (which they did on a Saturday at our request). Their pricing is the best we found. We looked at G&S (which was terrible- service and quality were lousy), Pental (awesome stone and amazing selection, no installation- & very expensive), Home Depot (basically just a middle man- you DO NOT get to pick out your own slabs), and others- and none of them were even close to Pius in terms of pricing. Most were close to double what we ended up paying at Pius. The Pius showroom on 1st is great- loads of parking, nice and big, lots of stone & cabinet options. The showroom on 4th is just so-so, my advice would be to start at the showroom on 1st Ave. We did have to wait a few times for John to be free- but it was worth it to be able to work with one person for the duration of the project. I have nothing but good things to say about our experience with Pius. When we renovate our bathroom- they will be the first company we visit with. read more

I wholeheartedly DO NOT recommend working with Pius. We have had the worst customer service experience I've ever had that has drawn out over 2 months. I am so frustrated and sad that something we have saved for and looked forward to for five years has been a complete nightmare. There has been problem after problem which began when we had their company come to measure our space but then their plans were never adjusted for the correct measurements. We had cabinets that were "planned" to cover our window (that wasn't OUR plan), and cabinets we couldn't open because they wouldn't clear the appliance handles. Those measurements weren't accounted for. We also had 2 blind cabinets we planned for with a 15" wide opening. But they couldn't clear other cabinet handles or appliance handles. Again, we paid for them to come and take measurements so we would avoid any issues like this. Their solution was to adjust the door openings to 12" inches. That solved the problem of clearing the handles, but we essentially have 2 unusable cabinets because they bend and are so deep, we can't access the pegs in the back to install the shelves and our pots/pans/baking dishes don't fit the openings as we planned for. In addition, the sales rep at the beginning was helping us look up lazy susan/extendable shelving options and where we could purchase for the above blind cabinets. We ordered based on the original 15" width. Then we had to return those because they no longer fit the opening. Since the return wasn't due to a defect in the product, I had to pay shipping which was $185. I asked for reimbursement, I haven't had any reply to this request in over 2 weeks despite emails and several messages. We had damaged panels, and wrong colors delivered. Good luck getting in touch with anyone from Pius. You get a menu of options which either ends up being on hold forever or leaving a message that never gets followed up. Emails aren't replied to. I could go on about all the issues, but I'll spare you. And since PIUS did not follow through on our timeline with getting back to us, and I let them know bad reviews were coming - I am following through with my negative review. read more

We purchased our kitchen cabinets, a large bathroom vanity, granite counter tops, sinks, and delivery and installation for all of the above from Mike at Pius. Mike was SUPER thorough and prompt in his answers to my email questions. I think we had about 30 back-and-forths throughout the project! He even successfully deciphered my terrible drawings. During the planning and ordering process, Mike was great about pointing out any things he thought might be issues down the road. He made smart recommendations & I could tell he was looking out for our best interests. Any remodeling project is going to have its delays, problems and headaches. We went in expecting many, and we received very few. We had read the reviews about the warehouse & knew going in that we would have to have extra patience dealing with them. There was a bit of running around, but nothing too terrible. The only thing I have an issue with: The upper cabinets we purchased are 1 inch shallower than the cabinets we replaced. So, inside, back to front, the cabinets are 10 5/8" deep. Our old cabinets were ~11 5/8". So where we could previously fit four drinking glasses front to back, now we can only fit three. This may not seem like much, but times tens of feet of cabinets, it has left us with boxes of things that do not fit. And the most annoying thing - OUR DINNER PLATES DON'T FIT AT ALL. We have to store them in the base cabinets, with the pots and pans. Now, YES, this is something I should have measured for. I assumed that cabinets are a standard depth. And you know what happens when you assume things. :0 Not Pius's fault really, just something for a buyer to be aware of. We are happy with the quality of the cabinets, and absolutely ADORE the granite. The granite installers did a beautiful job with the cuts & installing the sinks. We live in a condo complex, and have shown off our new kitchen to countless neighbors. My husband is the president of our homeowner's association & we have recommended Mike and Pius to many other homeowners in our meetings. read more

We tried to order a countertop elsewhere and it was going to be $3,500 and six weeks. Pius only charged $1,800 and took three weeks to have an availability for installation during busy season. They confirmed by phone and showed up on time. Three guys took my counter measurements and cut their counter tops in my front yard. The installation was beautiful and looks so good. You can't even see where the seam is. They took good care of my home, cleaned up perfectly and were done in about two hours. Super impressed! Looks beautiful and so much cheaper. I can't speak to the quality of the merchandise, but I have MUCH to say about customer service. I walked into this shop at noon on a Wednesday. The store appeared empty. Hmm. Odd, but okay, it's mid-day, mid-week. I was impressed with their prices and selection. I was planning to buy two vanities with counters, sinks, etc. and quickly realized I could do both bathrooms AND my kitchen given their prices.I got very excited. I started snapping pictures of stone slabs, vanities and full kitchen displays to show my husband later. Then I walked around the corner and saw my first other humans. There were exactly 6 woman - 2 at the reception counter (not on phones) , 3 at a customer service type counter (talking about what was on TV behind them) and 1 sitting on a couch waiting (I'm guessing she was a customer). I stopped and waited by both counters. Nothing. No acknowledgement at all, not even a hello or eye contact. Hmm. So then I made a point of snapping several pictures in the kitchen vignette DIRECTLY across from these counters - in clear view of them. Still nothing. So I slowly started moving to the door, surely they'll acknowledge me know, right. Short story long, I walked out of Pius and walked across the street to JC Marble. At JC Marble I was immediately greeted by Samantha and young gentlemen at the counter. Samantha was great! I purchased everything for both bathrooms for $1578 and made an appointment to bring my husband back to plan out the kitchen. So skip PIUS and go directly across the street to JC Marble. A couple months ago I had my Kitchen renovated with help from Pius. I went with Pius due to the fact that my kitchen reno was a very simple one; small footprint/no seems in the countertop stone. I had white shaker cabinets installed with a quarts counter and an undermount sink. The ordering process was straight forward (just be sure that all your measurements are accurate) and the selection Pius had was exactly what I wanted. During the demolition we discovered some strange plumbing inside my island which ended up requiring us to make the island 5 inches wider than we had originally planned. The original stone I picked out was a 48inch wide piece of quarts so this meant getting a different/larger stone of the same style; Pius was very easy to work with and with just 1 day notice before the planned install Pius handled the change smoothly. -Existing kitchen demolition done quickly and in a reasonably clean manner -Cabinet installation was done very well -Quartz counters turned out very nicely with smooth cuts and no issues -Undermount sink was put in straight (I think the caulking job could have been done a little better, but that's not a big deal) -My only complaint is that the guys who delivered the cabinets to my home seemed pretty lazy, taking a smoking break in the middle of their less than 20 min stay and they put a small scratch in my floor. Overall, I'm very happy. This is not a company that should be doing million dollar homes, but I feel like the quality of the cabinets is good (equal to or slightly better than cabinetstogo quality), they have a good selection of stones, the stone cutting was done well and the price is AWESOME! Also, they don't do plumbing or electrical so you'll have to either hire someone else or do that yourself. read more

We had high hopes for Pius and was ultimately disappointed. Myself and my colleagues are well known in this industry through out the west coast and were surprised when Pius was recommended to us. We weren't sure Pius would meet our clients product standards. However we decided to give Pius a trial run with a simple kitchen, since a mutual industry connection referred us. A Pius employee, Miss Amy, was highly recommended as a connection we could use in the the downtown Seattle area by many in our circle. My partner had met Amy as well at a Gala and was impressed. So I took a new client and one of our best contractors to the 4th and Holgate Pius for an initial quote and asked for Amy. She did not know who I was. Amy was all she needed to be. Helpful, polite, offerred us coffee, water and biscuits. She spent time and effort on providing us and our client good service. She also had a brilliant eye for design just as I had heard. She even gave me pointers on some mock up photos that I had showed her to test her creative vision.......she's brilliant. We were displeased when a lady abrubtly stopped her from helping us saying rudely, "she is just reception" and directed us to a sales associate. Amy was instructed to answer the phone. I later learned this lady was the owner, I was very put off by how she treated her employee and how she sent us off to get a quick, zero effort quote. This sales associate seemed annoyed and overworked. The owner even interrupted the sales associate to ask us off the wall questions about nonsense. She was more disruptive than helpful. However, she did ask the name of our company and quickly offered me a box of chocolates afterwards though. Which was odd but nice. To wrap up, we left Pius disappointed. Later in the month, my assistant had called to follow up, since our client decided to go through with the order from Pius. She could not get a reply from sales, reception, or anyone else. So I tried for days with the same let down. As a company, we do not have the time or patience to get involved in a cat and mouse chase over one kitchen. We decided to advise our client to look elsewhere for kitchen/bath product as we had a deadline. After calling around for some days and finally getting the direct phone number for Miss Amy, she mentioned to me that she is no longer employed by Pius. Makes sense, what a shame. Our company has since followed her into her new career and are so glad we did! We are now advising all of our industry freinds to follow suit! Sometimes in this industry we find a gem in a whole company that we stay loyal customers to just because of the great service.......Pius just didn't fit that mold for us. But one employee did! I guess I owe Pius Kitchen and Bath a thank you! I am not a yelp review kind of guy, but I am hoping that joining yelp to advise Pius might help them make adjustments to their customer service, customer appreciation and employee appreciation. Our experience of Pius was in 2008 but I was recently recommending them to a friend and thought I'd write a review. We did 2 granite counter tops, backsplash, and a sink. Maybe those who are disappointed were looking for other items or more of a conceirge service. Don't expect high end design and you will not be disappointed. We were putting counters into a property that was for sale, we just wanted a good price. The prices for the granite were the best we found, (really, no one is comparable). The undermount stainless sink was reasonable, as was installation cost. The service was functional and swift with no issues. Installation was done on time, professionally and with good clean up. Overall, the entire project was done for 1/4 , yes, 1/4 of what a contractor had told us granite counter tops would cost. read more

We ordered our countertops through one of the salesman down in Seattle. He told us that there was no need to worry about the bright white as it's man made quarts and can not stain and needs no sealer. The day of the install I got a phone call that they lost the product we purchased and were not coming out. After asking if they were freaking serious because I had my house torn apart and ready for them, they called me back an hour and a half later saying they found the product and were on the way. They showed up with a similar product but not what we were sold, and said it was just as stain resistant and durable as what we originally wanted. Not wanting to wait months for the product we purchased to arrive we okayed the install. Eight months later we now have countertops covered in stains that cannot come off, they sent one of their installers out to try and clean the stains, only to make them worse by sanding on them. In front of my security camera he said he didn't know why he was out here because they should just be replacing these, and that he's never seen such a crappy looking joint in the corner of my kitchen and asked who the heck put them in. Now that he went back to the shop with his findings, they say they wido not and will not warranty the stone they sell. I would highly recommend spending your money elsewhere! read more

I have only good things to say with getting my cabinets when I needed them. I just walked in, knowing what I needed, and they got me in and out, fast. I did have to go to all three locations, but, gladly did, because I was able to get 19 cabinets same day. Later, I picked out hardware. I got them same day, 40 pieces, which most places don't have in stock. They were super easy to work with. I would say, if you know what you need, and are ready, they take care of you! Amazing Job, 1st Ave and 4th, I worked with pretty much the whole team throughout my remodel. Only problem I ran into was on a Saturday pick up, if you go to the warehouse between 12:30 and 1pm you will be waiting for their lunch. Which, is fair! People need to eat. Love the guys at the warehouse, super fast and funny. Great experience with them for all my kitchen needs! read more

A great place for low price, decent quality cabinets and granite. You have to know what you are getting as cabinet doors will need to be adjusted and you might have to touch up the finish here and there and your cabinets might not be ready on time. But you can't beat the price and they actually do a great job on their granite installations. My one warning is to be super organized and check every single item that you load into your truck as a cabinet or two might be switched and you might be missing something. read more

This review is past due. I worked with Adrienne who was very helpful and professional even after I changed my order multiple times. She promptly returned my email and calls. She had great recommendations to help with the layout and listened to my concerns. I redesigned aerial property 10'x10' kitchen with all new cabinets, roll outs in lower cabinets, new stainless steel sink, and stone countertops including instillation all for under $10 grand. I had a few problems with some of the cabinets when they arrived but I had no problems having this resolved. I have paid over $40 grand for kitchen cabinets from a well known cabinet store in Bellevue and had many more problems. The installers were prompt and polite. I had them come back once to realign some drawers. I only gave the 4 stars because you really have to watch the quality of the cabinets yourself (or your contractor) but when I did find a problem it was quickly resolved. read more

Love, love PIUS. I bought my house on Sep 12th. I checked Home Depot, Lowes and many other kitchen/Bathroom/Tile places: everywhere around Redmond, Bellevue, and even Seattle was really expensive compared to them. My experience walking in other shops to check out their products was very overwhelming. We all are on a budget, so it's worth it to check out options, but the whole process was too much for me. This place was recommended by my contractor and my realtor. I read Yelp reviews on the bad experiences and realized that some of those were coming from competitors, which is pretty disappointing that Yelp allows that. I decided to check it out and bought my kitchen, countertop, backsplash for the kitchen and bathrooms, bathroom cabinets, sink, and floor for my entire house! Due to the size of the whole purchase, I asked John if he could check that my architect had the right measurements and if there were other options he would recommend based on his experience. He was wonderful--even my architect was amazed by the tweaks and recommendations he made. The installers were working in the rain, were very professional, and did very good and diligent work. I wanted them to do something different in my kitchen with the countertop, and with their limited English, they said "Nope, we don't recommend it." I called John, the sales person who helped me, and he talked to them real time; they were willing to please me, but when I talked to my contractor, we decided these guys know best. We went with their recommendation, and it looks beautiful! On the Yelp bad reviews, reading Craig's report saying they were using his electricity made me laugh! It's like asking my contractor to install an independent power supply while they do my full house renovation. Some customers have very stupid expectations, which can't be met. John, his mom, and his sister helped me on numerous occasions as you saw above: I bought a lot of things from them, there were several trips to their shop, I changed my mind a few occasions, and they were very flexible all the time. Everyone is very professional, but they are busy, so be patient if you have to wait for a while. They treat each customer the same way so rest assured that they will make plenty of time when your turn comes. I would recommend you to call ahead of time so they know when you will arrive and will have an open window for you. We just picked up our kitchen cabinets from Pius, and we couldn't be happier. Jason was a ROCK STAR! He put up with multiple emails from me, and when we were close to ordering, my husband & I sat down with him to make sure everything was right. My husband, a carpenter, was totally impressed with Jason's knowledge and demeanor. Every question from then on out was answered by Jason promptly and politely. When we asked to pick up our cabinets early, Jason jumped through hoops to get us taken care of. Each time I went to the warehouse to pick up cabinets (we chose to pick up some earlier than others), there seemed to be chaos, but I never felt like each of the many workers didn't know exactly what they were doing or what I needed. I'd step out of the truck and there would be someone to help me. I took my receipt each time--BIG HELP! Pius is way cheaper than anyone else in town. The cabinets are decent quality, and if you can a get past a somewhat disorganized feel, you'll be pleased with their customer service. I can't speak about their granite or their installation services. For the reviewer who claimed Jason dropped garbage at their home in Tacoma, I can't imagine him having the time to drive to Tacoma to deliver anything, let alone drop garbage.That's not the Jason I worked with. read more

This business doesn't even deserve one star! We bought our new bathroom vanity home and took it out of the box to assemble it. The only parts assembled were the hinges on to doors to the face of the vanity. When we opened one of the doors all of the screws fell to the floor! They were all stripped out!. We put everything back in the box, and returned it to Pius. We were told that all sales were "as is". This is a brand new vanity! Buyer beware, stay away from Pius! read more
