Save your money , these guys will rip you off . They had my car for more than a month and couldn't find what was wrong with it . They then said it would cost me another $1,500 just to check if maybe it was a transmission problem (not to fix the problem just "check") seeing that they were trying to rip me off I told them I would just be going else where with my car . I got charged $650 for the time they had it even tho they didn't do anything to the car and when I went to pick up my car it was worst then when I left it, I'm sure they swapped out some of my parts for bad ones . I'll never forget the day I thought my "brakes were shot" (the exact words I used to describe my dilemma) as I was driving to work one morning. At every stop light, I would jerk back and forth trying to get a hold of my car and make it brake, but it would slowly creep forward and never come to a complete stop. Terrified of running into someone's car, I rushed over to Pitstop so that Vitally, the Owner, could check out my car. He was able to see me immediately and took my keys so that he could give it a test spin. Upon returning, he informed me that NOTHING, indeed, was wrong with my brakes. I was like, "What?! No way!" like a total Valley girl. "Umm...you had your floor mats covering your brakes, therefore blocking your feet from having complete access to braking," he explained. LOL!!! Talk about embarrassment! I still laugh about it anytime I'm in for an oil change. Needless to say, he never took advantage of the situation and kindly moved my floor mats down to their proper place. I found Pitstop Performance by searching on yelp. I have an older Honda CR-Z with some minor fixes which included a new bumper, new light, new mirror, new windshield, detailed in and outside of the car and the entire car buffed out. I also added on a few mechanical repairs such as, oil change, air filters, and breaks. It took them about a week and a day for the car to be completed. I thought that the timeline was pretty good considering they had to wait for pieces to come in and the actual labor of it all. The best part about my experience with these guys was the bill! With everything they did (which made my car look new and beautiful) was under $2,000. Might I say I was definitely impressed with the customer service. I was updated frequently about where my car was at in the process. I was also notified about what needed to be done to my car that I may have not already told them needed to be done. One of the things I am also hesitant about in auto companies is being charged an obscene amount of money for things that don't necessarily need to be done. These guys didn't do that! I stopped by PitStop Performance to have new break pads put into my 2008 Charger, Vitaly and his technicians inspected my breaks and determined there was lots of life left in my current break pads and that they did not need to be changed yet. They found my suspension was actually causing the noise I was hearing from inside my car and that it did not need to be immediately upgraded either. They did all this free of charge. I will definitely be back anytime I'm in need of a mechanic, body work or performance upgrades. I can see why they get so much business and why they have been in business for so long. read more

I have an Infiniti FX37 and this shop is the only facility I will use for service. My radiator developed a leak so I took the car in for service. I have a third party warranty and gave them the information. They determined my radiator had to be replaced and contacted the warranty company. Of course, the warranty company pushed back but the guys at the shop took it upon themselves to deal with the warranty company and got the repair approved saving me $1,285. As suspected, it only took couple service visits to reveal true color of this shop. First, they did not properly fill my engine oil level (it was short by a quart). I went back, he sure promptly blamed on the car, indicating that sensor was a fault I insisted it was insufficient oil, then he had his mechanic brought out a quart of oil to fill, wola problem solved!!!! (Really, I have owned the car for 8+ years, give me break and start acting like a real mechanic who can diagnose issues). Second time, i left the car there for couple hours (I had washed the car the night before) when I went to pick it up, there was a nice fist sized dirt/mud causing scratches on the front bumper. Not getting into the detail of what happened afterward, he told me to get lost while his thug mechanic buddies watched us in the back. My wife felt threaten because it was only 2 of us there. I know there will be some die hard fan boys there who will say otherwise but my intent is to help anyone who are still considering this shop to look elsewhere and BECAREFU!!. Oh yeah by the way, I have been to his body shop which is located couple blocks away. If you have seen it and still believe any quality work is going to come out of there! I originally started coming here when I had a Nissan 300zx TT as they are THE shop in the USA for these cars. They helped modify and maintain my car like I've never experienced. I continued bringing all my other cars here. They have done an especially amazing job on my SL55 AMG. We did a significant build to this car's engine. They have always been incredibly responsive to questions and helpful advice. Recently, my wife and I were on a trip back from Vegas and started experience car trouble. Even though it was after hours, Vitaly was willing to take multiple calls and texts to help diagnosis our issue and recommended to not push the car through the desert.
