Just returned from an unexpected brunch at Pitch. First noted that crowds had cut back a bit following last summers grill fire......sorry for the owners but great for the dining experience. Easy parking and choice of tables. I am an old carnivore so any time after 8:00 AM usually prefer a good burger seared to medium rare. I realize that some gracious american member of the cattle community gave his all for my moment of enjoyment so no hockey pucks. There was a special for mimosas so I followed the cost break which enhanced the moment. I am always trying to enjoy without expanding so chose the chop salad instead of the addictive fries. Figured the bubbly evened out the carbs. All-in-all it was a great experience with close friends and allowed for the rest of the day to be wasted in front of the tube watching an odd shaped ball be both abused and cause certain discomfort to many well paid young and middle aged folks. Give PITCH a try, or another try.....the door is always open. read more

The ambience was good, I am sure it will be much better on the roof. It was closed the day we went to the place. The place is little noisy. The drinks were okay. I ordered the cucumber sparkler and my wife ordered the scratch made season lemonade. We were not that hungry so we just ordered the pizza. The margherita was good but the oven roasted tomatoes on it were not that good. They were big in sizes and were not complementing the pizza. Well, here I go again. This place is a joke. Won't write the entire novel this time, but I am walking out of this place and literally feeling like I was robbed. $65 BEFORE TIP , one person, for a glass of house wine, one well cocktail that the bartender rang up like it was some premium craft libation, and what ended up being a half portion of pasta noodles and glorified Ragu sauce. And that $65 was before the tip! There was some kind of a bread feature that came with my Campbell's soup based sauce, I think they tried to make it a breadstick, but wow! I just can't believe anybody goes back to this place! Since I'm by myself, I sat at the bar to leave table space for others, that's a mistake! The bar service sucks. Flat out sucks. Rude bartender, no eye contact, mumbling, and throwing things around behind the bar the whole time. Super disappointed, I'm in town a couple days and drive by this place on my way to the hotel, always seem to be a crowded parking lot so figured it was worth a shot. Tonight was perfection on the upstairs covered patio - perfect temp, sunset, food, drinks and company! We spaced out our food orders thru the evening - from the stuffed peppadews (which I can't stop thinking about), the artichoke dip, truffle fries, roasted Brussels to the finale Bianco Verde - each dish was completely delish and beautifully presented. I only regret not getting pictures to share w this review. We had a variety of drinks: wine, margarita, wines and signature mule all enhanced the experience of the evening. AND, our server was . My cousin told me to get the beet salad- when I asked the waitress if it's heavy on the dressing or not because I like light dressing, she said oh no it's fine, but when the salad came out, it was practically dripping with dressing and they were really great and they brought more lettuce out so I could toss it more and have it be more of a light salad but what really surprised me with that they brought a huge steak knife out on a Kids Plate of chicken and waffles- for my Toddler. my mom said the salmon had little flavor. read more

I have a deep love for their cold salmon salad. My only critic is that there's a large ratio of hummus to veggies. I don't order much of anything else, because I love it so much. They have good late night happy hour and an extensive wine list. We haven't had a bad experience here yet. read more

While I have been to Pitch several times for lunch or dinner, yesterday was our first time trying their brunch. The service was pretty good considering how busy it was on a Sunday around 11 AM. So some highlights: Service was kind and attentive. Food was really delicious and beautifully plated Some not so good things: It is a tad pricey but it's Pitch. And it's West Omaha. The food came out in 4 different waves. By the time our the last plate came out, everyone else was done. They were nice about it and took it off the ticket since it came about about 15-20 min after the first plate arrived. The table up front we were seated at was really dark. I'd probably ask for a window seat next time. Overall we were really happy with the experience and the brunch items we had were all polished off and we had no leftovers to take home. read more

went to Pitch West fir birthday brunch. made the mistake of ordering the basic bacon and eggs. the bacon was half raw and half burnt and soggy hash brown. mistakes happen but when server was notified they took 3 bucks off the bill. so I spent almost $13 for eggs and half a slice of dry toast. my friends salad was really good. I won't return because there are so many good restaurants in Omaha and I won't take a chance on paying for crappy food. read more

I branched out from my usually order of pizza and salad to try the turkey burger and I was disappointed, especially with the texture which was dense, tough and had a weird chewy texture. The menu says house smoked and ground daily but it was more like a mechanically extruded patty vs hand formed. I would have given 2 stars but the truffle fries saved the day. We've been to brunch a few times and I will say it is definitely a solid choice in terms of the quality of food they put out. My dish of choice is their smoked pork casserole. This little crock of love was such a flavorful combination of pork, potatoes, cheese and a few other things in between. It absolutely hit the spot when it came to what is needed to start the day. Drinks are never in question and always delicious here. Their method and speed of service at brunch has left a little wanting. We've been for dinner and not had much issue but the times we've been for brunch our party's food comes out all at different times. We once ordered a waffle for our toddler as soon as we sat down and it didn't arrive until all the adults had finished their meals. They had made mention that they only roll with 2 waffle irons in the back and one was out of commission? So that puts a bit of a damper on the experience but overall it's a solid choice and nice atmosphere to get a good meal! read more

The modern vibe makes it a great place to have a social gathering for drinks with friends. If you like modern and different pizzas this is a great choice. read more

For a not busy Monday if it was possible to give a negative I would. Took my team out for dinner. Got there around 5:45 Monday night. Not busy. We waited and waited - finally got our beverages after 35mins ordered appetizers another 35+ minutes when that came out we ordered right away - 20 min later 1 entree comes out... wrong one- another 45min- no refills- I flag down the waitress- she say " what do you want me to do about it"? WTH at this point box up her pizza and get her the right thing. Our food takes another 20 still no drop by - from manager... our food comes out- 20 mins I order dessert for everyone to take home. Yes - they did comp a few items. However- we got there 5:45 and got out of there after 8:49. I won't recommend nor choose to go there again. read more

Decided to check this place out. We came during lunch rush hour during the week so avoid this time if you can. The food was alright but nothing too special. The service could use some improvement as our server took forever to come around to check on us several times and didn't seem to like his job at all. The parking lot for this place is also awful as it is a business parking lot which can get crowded. May or may not be back. read more

There are so many good things about Pitch. The atmosphere is nice and there are lots of great choices from the bar. Most of the time, the food is really good. But, the biggest issue I have with Pitch is that the prices have gotten way out of control. Avoid the Happy Hour foccacia bread-- it's literally one breadstick cut in half. Two small pieces of bread with a large bowl of sauce on the side. It was a joke for $8. The entrees and pizzas don't seem worth the price most of the time. There's no kids menu so beware of that-- the $28 spaghetti while tasty, is ridiculous when you have to order it for your kids. The servers are usually nice enough, but the people working the desk when you come in tend to be less friendly. I used to love Pitch, but now it just doesn't seem worth the cost which is too bad. read more

One of my favorite pizza spots in Omaha! Very fresh toppings and the sauce is full of flavor. They don't skimp You on sauce, cheese, or toppings! Only negative is that the pizza coulda have been a little more crispy. The service is great and our waitress was friendly. Definitely recommend pitch! read more

This Pitch location is a great spot during the warmer months for drinks and dinner out on the patio. Fries are one of my go-to appetizers to order. The truffle fries we ordered had a good flavor. The size of the fry makes for a lighter option than the thicker cuts. However, just not my personal favorite take on a truffle fry. What a beautiful venue! I love the decor and the big open space. The outdoor area looks nice as well. I was here for a business lunch and our large group was accommodated very quickly (they don't take reservations). We had at least 10 people and most of us shared. My little group of three shared the Calamari Pizza. Wowza! So good and pretty it's almost art! The sauce is very good and pairs well with the calamari which I thought was a bit undersalted. The two together are very nice though. It's a little spicy. We also shared the Arugula salad because oh my gosh it's so pretty! And tasty. The salad is wrapped with proscuitto and filled with candied walnut, pear, gorgonzola, balsamic vinaigrette. Someone had the short rib grilled cheese and said the flavors mix really well. It was crispy, flavorful...an inviting grilled cheese. Another person had the beat salad and enjoyed it. Another kept it simple with pepperoni pizza. He said the pepperoni was spicy and really liked the arabiata sauce. A nice change. The Thai salad was a hit, as were the roasted brussel sprouts with pancetta and parmesan. Stopped in today for lunch and sat at the bar. Bartender was very friendly and had good suggestions based on what I was looking for (I don't eat meat). There are multiple things on the menu besides pizza and he suggested a started for my meal, the Coal Fired Long Stem Artichokes. Dressing was excellent and the portion was like a large salad. Fairly easily accessible entrance. However, the parking lot isn't huge, probably due to the location. Very nice seating area on the lower level; there's an upstairs as well - I can't comment as I haven't visited. They have an incredible menu selection and everything I tried was delicious! Very impressed with the staff and the kitchen crew. As I was there for a large group seating (in 2019), they were still able to bring everyone's food at the exact same time. Now, this is really impressive because not only was this a larger group (I'm talking like 20+ people), but this was at a busy time of the evening. My brunch experience was good but not great. Went for a Sunday brunch by myself. Sat at the Bar at around 11:30/45. Inside was very dark, was not very busy. Ordered a Bloody Mary which was $14 for what tasted like tomato juice with table peppercorn grounds added on top. Garnish on top of Bloody Mary was great however. Ordered the short rib burrito, burrito did not come out very warm, however had good flavor, eggs were NOT GOOD, I do not know what it was but they had a very bad aftertaste. The potatoes were extremely good, perfectly seasoned for a mild spice, I added pepper and cholula on top. This was the best part of the experience and meal. Bill was $34 dollars and I tipped $10 to the bartender because he was very attentive and good behind the bar, as a bartender myself, he was very busy with orders from servers. And I appreciated how he was able to keep a conversation with me in the spots in between. Drink however was over priced to me. Eggs, Darkness, and Bloody Mary brought this down 2 stars for me. Hadn't been in awhile and came for a weeknight dinner last Wednesday. Sat at the bar and had great service. The braised short ribs and polenta blew my mind! And don't even get me started on the cheese plate - it's beautiful and so much to eat we had leftovers to take home!
