This place is by my office that I'm at once a week. I'm a huge fan of the beef pita and add red onions plus hummus. It's always ready on time (I order online) and is massive!! Sometimes it's two meals for me. Don't sleep on this spot!

French fries made to order

Fresh food, kind people helping you out, and authentic Greek feta! YUM! Oh and can't forget the perfect fresh made to order French fries. Seriously the most perfect fry I've had in ages. Hubs got a pita and me a pita bowl. It was perfect. Great portions and just delish! The small but delightful cafe has seating outside and upstairs seating but on a delightful evening sit outside and enjoy great music. We will be back. Close to home and good food.

Spanakopita

I mean - you have to try a place that has 5 stars so here we are eating Spanakopita and a Falafel Pita Wrap that live up to the reviews! Like the Spanakopita has real spinach-ey spinach and it's light and exquisite. This is counter service yet feels like Chef-driven traditional and fantastic Greek cuisine!

Beef and lamb loaded fries

Really enjoyed the Beef and lamb loaded fries. Happy that this spot finally opened. It's a great addition to the LoHi lunch and dinner scene. They have lots of seating and a great outdoor patio just in time for summer. The staff were incredibly friendly + quick service!

Sorry for the bad photo, I couldn't wait to dive in!

Hands down the best gyro I've had in Colorado! I lived all over Europe for a few years and I'm always searching for something like I ate in Greece. Well.......if you're like me and you miss your delicious Greek snacks then this is your place! I chatted with the owner while I was there, he's so knowledgeable and has also lived all over the world operating restaurants! Great people, even better food!

Lamb/Beef Rice Bowl Beef&Lamb

Where do I even begin? The lamb/beef is unbelievable. I had the rice bowl- and my dad had the salad and my mom the gyro. Everything was absolutely fresh and probably the best Greek food I have had in Denver. The guy that owns it is incredible- you can tell he does all the work himself with- maybe his father in the kitchen? They make the dish in front of you- and it is incredibly clean. Great music made for an awesome ambiance. I highly recommend this spot!

I thought it…read morewould be an attractively designed hipster coffeehouse with uninspired food offered as an afterthought. I was pleased to be wrong!! The ambiance was indeed attractively designed, bright and open, not too loud even though we sat ourselves near the kitchen. We ordered from menus with our smart phones, and our drinks and food arrived promptly. I ordered the Shakshuka, a northern African dish of stewed tomatoes with feta cheese and spices served with warm crusty garlic bread. A perfectly poached egg was nestled on top, and the dish was accompanied by a side salad of baby lettuces dressed very sparingly in oil and vinegar. Now, ordinarily, for me more is more when it comes to condiments. But the way the salad was dressed allowed the flavors of the lettuces to come through, and its blend of tart and slightly bitter was the perfect foil to the shakshuka, which was hearty, delicious, and spicy indeed! The stew was a generous portion that could be easily shared if you ordered an extra side of garlic bread, which I did. I was lucky to be able to request it from an employee who came around to ask how our meal was. The overall experience was memorable in the best way. I'm already craving the Shakshuka!

And I don't like…read morepickled beets, usually, (I love beets and I love pickles, but not together) but this must've been pickled by them in their own recipe and it was so good. Not the icky too sweet, too sour that I taste in others. The hummus also tasted very freshly made and was good, but they did not put anywhere near enough on the board. The ratio was so bad, it was like 1/4 cup of hummus and 8 triangles of pita, not to mention if you were to dip anything other than the pita in the hummus. It really needed like 3 to 4 times the amount of hummus I got. Then, they're weren't any vegetables to dip other than pickled beets. Something like carrots, celery, radish, cucumber, tomato... anything! The olives are a nice side bite, I love olives, but you need more veggies. The price for that was way overpriced and that was their "happy hour" deal, too. Ok, come on now! They also have some cocktails and wine for $5 - 6 for HH so, that is a good deal -- daily 3-5pm. The patio outside is pretty large. But, ps you not supposed to leave with your drink whether inside or outside. Terminal bar you can wander more on the inside.

We started with the burrata based on Yelp reviews and they weren't wrong. Super fresh tasting, and the focaccia paired with it perfectly. It's an upcharge but worth it, and you aren't at a place like this to pinch pennies anyways. We both chose the rigatoni, we had a heavy lunch, and it was perfect. The sauce was deep and hearty and the pasta was exactly al dente. We split a strawberry guacamole sorbet and glad we did, it was larger than expected and absolutely delicious. Place has the feel of a modern restaurant, very sleek. My only complaint was that we were seated next to a room with a large group and it was hard to hear each other talk, but nothing to be done about that. Really great place with a highly focused menu that knocks it out of the park. J.Ja

We started with the burrata, and I'm not exaggerating when I say it was the BEST burrata I've ever had. Not the best in Denver. The best, period. Backed that up with a solid salad, then moved into a homemade pasta with ragù that had no business being that good. Finished with dessert and walked out wondering why we'd even bothered with Utria in the first place. Here is the thing though... sometimes you need a bad experience to land in the right place. Tavernetta didn't need our five stars: but it earned them anyway.

We came here for brunch on a Sunday morning, before heading to Coors Field to see an afternoon Rockies game. There are a bunch of different places to check out inside, so everyone can grab exactly what they want and still sit together. Today, I specifically visited Call Your Mother, a Jewish deli, and Izzio Bakery. Atmosphere: Since I went right around the time they opened, the atmosphere was exactly what I needed. It was super laid-back and chill, making it the perfect place to get out of the house for a calm morning. As it gets later into the day and through the weekends, I know it gets very busy, but there is plenty of random seating throughout the hall and even some outdoor spots if you prefer. Parking: Parking is going to be street parking. Make sure you read the signs, but it is usually free. Even when the market is busy, I usually don't have to walk more than a block to get inside. So it is a very convenient location for the RiNo area. Service: The customer service throughout the market is great. At Call Your Mother, the cashier was very sweet, and they even text you when your food is ready. Over at Izzio Bakery, everyone is super kind and helpful while you're looking at their amazing pastry display. Even with a line, you're usually only waiting about 10 to 12 minutes for your items. Food: The food variety here is incredible. I tried the Sun City breakfast bagel sandwich from Call Your Mother and the hot honey was the perfect balance of sweet and spice on a toasted bagel. For a sweet treat, I went to Izzio Bakery for the Dulce de Leche Queen. The pastry case there looks like something out of a movie. The pastry itself was perfectly crisp on the outside with a delicious yellow vanilla cream and cinnamon on the inside. Overall Experience: Overall, I really enjoy coming here and trying new places. It is a fantastic destination for groups or just a solo morning out. Whether you want a savory breakfast bagel sandwich or a beautiful pastry, The Denver Central Market always hits the spot. I'll definitely be back to explore more.
