Delicious gyros, perfect for a late night bite! Stopped at this food truck at around 1am after hanging out at 1UP and expected it to be good, but was blown away by how tasty and juicy it was. I got the lamb gyro with tzatziki and the meat is so flavorful and perfectly seasoned. I loved the chopped peppers in it and the tzatziki had a bright flavor with the perfect amount of tang. The picture doesn't do it justice, but I'm already craving another one and will be heading back there VERY soon. Super friendly staff and relatively quick service. read more

Holy smokes. The lamb gyro absolutely blew my socks off. We did the combo of the 2 sauces for the lamb gyro. Omg the lamb was so succulent and somehow like soft and creamy. It was the best gyro I've ever had. Very hard to beat. The fries are honestly a skip cause it's $7 and they're pretty salty but great for drunkchies. We also got the chicken gyro. The meat itself couldn't get close to the lamb but the marinade was delicious. read more

We're from Vegas and are not used to places closing lol. Couldn't find much to eat downtown late at night... until we ran into Gyro Kings food stand, thank god we did!!! The food was amazing. 10/10. Will defiantly be going back before heading back home for some more. Great service and friendly staff. read more

Ok Guys, so....ive known this place, and the owner for years now. He started out with a tiny, diamond plated trailer he built himself. Over the years i keep coming to him, his food is always on point. One night, after a few cold ones, i even made a song about the truck (Funny, yes...). But back to the food...its good, best GYROS around. And yes, im from NY, and they are called G Y R O S....not "yeeroo" or whatever people say here. Give me a good NY style gyro at the King and im happy. read more

I love this restaurant! Their gyros are so fresh and extremely tasty. When I was there I noticed they got a high rating for their pizza. I haven't tried it yet but based on their review and their gyros, I will order one next time. The owners are super nice and the food is always cooked while you wait and perfectly proportioned. Yum Yum Yum! Gyro King was parked outside of my residential building today and I decided to give it a try. I got the veggie platter and it was insanely good. It was loaded to the brim with goodness- falafel, tabbouleh, veggies, tzatziki, hummus, and dolmas, plus with many slices of delicious pita. I probably didn't need to eat the whole platter myself but I most definitely did. I hope they will be back soon! read more

Now, admittedly I am no gyro afficianado - sadly, it's been literal years since I last had Greek food. When I saw that the Gyros King food truck would be in our neighborhood, the need for a gyro hit hard. Boom. Order placed. It was ready in about 30 minutes, hot when we got it home. We ordered two of the Americana style gyros and one Falafel Sandwich and they were GOOD. I like the fries on top, tasty addition. The gyro was my favorite but the falafel sandwich was great too. Flavorful, excellent sauces, large portions, and a really tasty pita wrap. Fluffy and the right amount of chewy. They're not cheap. Each meal was $13-14 but they're a good size, quality ingredients and really delicious. We'll be sure to order again! read more

This review is for the Edgewater location. While the staff was kind, the falafels were huge and raw inside. Basically, I threw them out since they were so bad. The falafels should be smaller so they can cook througout. I will not be back. read more

Whoa, this place is the real deal! Gyro King was conveniently parked outside New Terrain Brewing and I'm so happy they were because it hit the spot! I got the combo plate ($13 which is steep but a fantastic value for what you get) and couldn't have been happier. I was famished after hiking so I swore I was going to kill the entire plate but couldn't do because so much food! Hummus, Kalamata olives, tabbouleh, gyro meat, steak, chicken, spanakopita and pita bread--the plate had it all! The pita was airy and warm and a perfect compliment to the meat and hummus. Ok late nighters. If you're in the Larimer Square area after clubbing and a few drinks in you and now you're hungry. Head over to 19th and Blake and look for the white Food cart. The Gyro King offers awesome tasting Gyros. You can get Lamb or Beef. Not into Gyros, he has chicken and an awesome jumbo Hotdog. This guy is a hard worker trying to make his business work. This truck is ALL about being the savior of drunken and ripped folks alike in the city in the Mountains. Everything about this city is pleasantly "extra" whenever I come here. I mean, three beers in and I'm feeling like I'm floating on a seriously buzzed cloud! While I'm up here in the clouds, might as well continue my ride towards the heavens, pit stop at gyro heaven. This is by far the best gyro I've had in Denver. The ingredients were good and the service was solid. I can't say I'm into fries on the gyro but others might be and you could always ask to have them on the side. Definitely worth a try if you're into gyros and are a Denver local. read more

Drunk food at its finest. This genius person put this cart at the street corner in between all the bars, breweries and pubs. Everyone gets drunchies and this place deliveries a pretty solid gyro for a decent price. Its a one man show, so be patient since he cooks everything to order. read more

We ordered the Fries loaded with Feta and Beef/ lamb Doner which was fantastic. It basically is lamb gyro meat on top of your French fries with the tzatziki sauce, feta, spices, and they have hot sauce on the side if you want it. Decent price for the amount of fries you get ($16) and the staff was SO nice to us and made sure we got our order despite being the most popular spot!
