Great service, great beers, I got the spicy mama deep dish which was great, the only thing is the edges and crust areas were super salty
It was so good last week, we came back again. The beer choices are very good and something we enjoy. The staff is very friendly and efficient. The bar and dining room areas are bright and pleasant.
Our friend picked up the food so I can't speak to the wait time so the rating is purely based on the food. The O.G. Sourdough Pizza ($21.50) + Vegan Cheese ($5): Charred Ezzo pepperoni, spicy red sauce, house blend cheese, basil, spicy honey, and ricotta. This was delicious! I loved the crispy crust and the well-balanced flavors. I can see why it's a fan favorite. Moonshot Sourdough Pizza ($23.50): Spicy Italian sausage, charred Ezzo pepperoni, fennel Tuscano salami, spicy red sauce, house blend cheese, shaved speck, and dried herb blend. This was good but didn't quite live up to the O.G. The flavors were a bit more homogenous. Deviled Eggs ($12): Came with 6 pickled eggs, hot pickle aioli, apricot mostarda, Creole crackers, and chives. I wasn't a fan of the pickled egg taste, but everything else about the dish was good.
great spot if you're going out with a group or just want a lot of space to spread out. The place is huge, with plenty of seating, so it feels easy and low-stress even when it's busy. They've got tons of pizza options, which makes it fun to try a few different things or share with the table. Ordering is super convenient too since it's mobile-based, so you can skip the line and just order from your phone. Parking is easy, which is always a win, and it's especially convenient if you need to recharge your Tesla while you're there ;)
A Hazy IPA that makes you do a double take at the first sip-Electric Jellyfish. Everything about this beer was outstanding. If someone asks what is the best IPA in Austin, Texas or the Southwest- this beer would be it. This location had a ton of space to move around in and loved every minute of being here. Next time I'll try the food as I heard and saw great things about it.
I am not sure why south Austin has many breweries...they just do. I arrived early to a Yelp event and decided to explore what the breweries "to do" was all about. First stop, Pinthouse Brewing. This a gigantic space including a upstairs...cavernous with super high ceilings. It has an industrial look with a greenery twist. Pinthouse Brewing is known for its superior craft beer. Their Electric Jellyfish Hazy IPA appears to be a fan favorite. The brewery offers over 20 beers on tap, including seasonal and experimental brews. Pinthouse delivers beers for every beer palate - IPAs, stouts, or lighter ales. In full transparency, I'm not a beer connoisseur. Did I fall madly in love with Pinthouse beer. No. However, there was a constant, strong flow of folks coming into the brewery, which speaks for itself. Pinthouse also hosts a happy hour and offer stout cake. Did I have any stout cake? Nope...not that brave today but maybe in the future. In addition they host private events. Today, Communities in Schools was having a private team event, Overall, chill vibe.
I had no idea that Pinthouse had Detroit style pizza at this location. I ordered the cheese pie and it was good. The sauce was a little spicy for my taste but I still very much enjoyed it. The staff was nice and helpful. I ordered using the QR code on the table. Drinks came right away! Plenty of seating inside. This place is big! It feels like a warehouse. I also had no trouble parking. There were a good amount of spots. The location is solid with easy access to 35.
Pinthouse Brewing is a massive space and very loud atmosphere. The Detroit-style pizza was doughy but still tasty, and the beer selection is plentiful. The chicken wings were very small but tasty. The service was less than friendly, but it's a fun spot if you're mainly going for the beer and don't mind the noise.
Fun spot to hang out with friends! I like that they offer beer flights to try a few things in one visit. Old Beluga - Amber is a good one! The staff was kind and let us finish up even though they were closing. Pizza was good!
We didn't even realize that Pinthouse Brewing had a sourdough crust (apparently not all locations do), so that was such a fun surprise. The sourdough pizza was really good--almost like a focaccia/Detroit-style hybrid, but with the sauce layered on the bottom. Super flavorful, crispy edges, soft inside... honestly just hit. Also--my husband was way too excited (in the best way) to see boiled peanuts on the menu, so of course we had to start there. Great call. We'll definitely be back.
Pinthouse Brewing is everything you want in a local brewery--laid-back, welcoming, and consistently delicious. The food goes way beyond typical pub fare. Their pizzas are next-level (get the Armadillo if you like a little heat), and the beer cheese and pretzel combo is dangerously good. You can tell they put as much care into their food as they do their brews. Service is always solid, even when the place is packed. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable about the beer menu, and quick to offer recommendations without being pushy. It never feels rushed, just easygoing and efficient. The ambiance is exactly what you want in a brewpub--lively but not chaotic, with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. It's the kind of place that works whether you're flying solo with a pint or showing off Austin to out-of-towners. Between the great food, relaxed vibe, and killer beer lineup, Pinthouse always delivers.
If you've ever had an Electric Jellyfish, you know nothing compares to having a cold one on tap from the brewery itself. Whenever I'm craving a solid pizza and a Caesar salad, Pinthouse Pizza is my go-to. However, for those who don't know, Pinthouse Brewing is in a league on its own. At the other Pinthouses, you'll find a plethora of pizzas served New York style. At the Ben White location, you'll find a variety of food including sandwiches and unique Detroit styled pies. There's seating indoors, but most of their dining space is in a covered open air warehouse surrounding the brewery. For those who would like to see the brewery in depth, you can also schedule to take a tour. Drinks: The classic Electric Jellyfish lives here, but I think the other beers don't get enough attention. A close second would be the Training Bines. Food: I ordered the OG and was in love with it. It was spicy and sweet and the dollops of ricotta was the icing to it all. Speaking of... if you love rich chocolate, a must is the Chocolate Stout Cake.
Some places serve good food. Others serve good beer. Pinthouse punches you in the face with both and you thank them for it. Let's talk food first. The Moonshot pizza is dangerously good. That chewy, charred crust feels like it was kissed by fire gods. Toppings in perfect harmony. It's not reinventing the wheel, it is the damn wheel!!! Cajun wings come out piping hot, seasoned like someone in the back actually cares, and the Italian Grinder? A heavy hitter and oozing with sharp provolone, peppery meat, and zero regrets. But the secret weapon? The Scorpion Disco West Coast IPA. One sip and you're hooked, aroma bursting with strawberry, gooseberry, blueberry, papaya. It smells like a fruit stand on acid. The taste? Crisp, slightly sweet, just bitter enough to remind you it has fangs. You could pair it with anything or nothing at all. It's that good. 5 stars for knowing who they are and delivering it without pretense. Beer that slaps, food that sticks, and a vibe that doesn't need neon signs or fake hype. Pinthouse is the real deal.

I was amazed at the beautiful decor inside and the brewery tanks in the background. I was quite surprised at the prices for the pizzas but I'm confident when I say these were the best pizzas I have ever eaten. Literally any pizza will blow your mind away and for this specific visit, I got the Mushroom Man and Spicy Mama. Overall a fantastic dining experience with a moderate cost factor and worth a try for anyone visiting Austin. read more

Pinthouse Brewery produces my favorite beer in town the Electric Jellyfish and I've been a patron of their pizza joints for years. However, their brewery holds a special place in my heart, not only for the great beer selection but also for the variety of food options you can only find here. I visited a few weeks ago with a friend and realized I hadn't reviewed them yet, despite being here before. The brewery is spacious and modern, yet still approachable, with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. You order food and drinks at the counter, and a server brings your food to your table based on the number they give you. The beer menu mainly rotates, with staples like Training Bines and Electric Jellyfish staying on full time. For food, there are plenty of shareable options like wings and salads, but for something more filling, they offer different sandwiches and Detroit-style pizzas. I went with the O.G, which is my personal recommendation, especially if you like ricotta. Pinthouse Brewery should be on anyone's list to visit, especially if you're a beer connoisseur like myself. read more

Sooo we were about to just walkout and leave after the person who attended to us didn't give two poops we had zero clue how their ordering process worked. He was so rude! NOT HELPFUL. He acted like we were suppose to know as if we worked there. Our food all came out at once- 40 min later. We had ordered wings, fries, one pizza. So much for apps- we didn't get to enjoy them prior. Food was cold. And we didn't get our food until I went up to go ask how much longer it would be to get our apps. 3 min later she came out with food. Not sure if we will go back. Food was good. Altho the pizza could have had some sauce on all the slices. Wings were decent prob would have been a better rating if they were hot. read more

Ambiance: great, the brewery is a large and airy space with a very nice indoor space as well as a lovely covered patio area. Service: great, employees are friendly and helpful as always. Beer: great, all the usuals plus they tend to have a couple more options than the regular pinthouse locations. Food: y'all are one of the top pizza places in Austin and yet someone decided "let's switch it up and make something different for the brewery"? Come on guys, just serve your regular amazing pizza! I don't want sandwiches, I don't want focaccia pizza, I really don't want boiled peanuts, , just give me your delicious chewy-crust pizza!! -1 star and honestly this upsets me enough that I want to make it more but realistically it's a nice place so I'll just deduct one. read more

Good food w a good atmosphere, which is surprising. The outside portion of the sitting is still covered so you get the best of both worlds. But there is a choice to sit inside the restaurant as well. However, I ended up sitting inside the outside sitting and it was fun and unique. read more

Arrived for the supercharging and decided to cool off inside with a fun lunch. The atmosphere is some of the best in Austin, wide open spaces with high vaulted ceilings. It's so nice not to feel claustrophobic or old and moldy and archaic like other restaurants in ATX. The bathroom fixtures are sophisticated and better than almost any ATX bathroom. There is plenty of room to maneuver with a large group. It reminds me of my time abroad and I wish more Austin places were like this. I just really enjoy the ambiance here, it's a third home really. Kind of what you wish Starbucks (used to be) and even Mozart's could be. The Food: I had the chopped salad and a giant pretzel. The pretzel itself was perfectly done, not too crisp, no burn marks. I liked the mustard dipping sauces a lot. Be forewarned, they are intense and you should like Dijon mustard a lot. I used them sparingly, it was fun to try something new you can't get just anywhere. The chopped salad was the best, perfectly sized for a medium lunch, but not overly small. The Dijon vinaigrette was perfection. I've also had the hippie vegan burger with the basil slaw which is even better than the pretzel and chopped salad, highly recommend anything here, I don't think you can really go wrong. The service is ridiculously good, they are prompt and it's kind of like Loro and super easy to walk up and order. They always ask how I'm doing too. I wish they offered a brunch everyday, I'd certainly come to try the fried green tomatoes Benedict on a Tuesday morning. I'm excited to return and try a dessert and pizza and wish they'd add Pinthouse's honey pear to the menu here and maybe some chips and queso type options. I don't drink alcohol and this was such a nice surprise for me to find a cute lunch spot, even if the focus is beer first and foremost. read more

Some of the best pizza I've ever had! I visited on a Saturday night with some friends. The place was not too crowded nor empty. I really liked the self-ordering structure they have. You scan a QR code from your seating and order through your phone. I felt this made the ordering process go by smooth. We ordered the O.G. pizza and the Moonshot pizza, both were delicious! Amazing pizza! We absolutely loved the pizza - got the original with pepperoni and ricotta cheese and spicy honey! The crust is incredible and toppings are delicious! Chose this location to charge as I was going to order take out as well. Noticed employee parking non-EV in charging spot. While not an issue as it currently wasn't busy. I seemed like a rude thing to do at the beginning of a shift. Shared my feedback with someone inside and went to my car. Employee approached my car and told me there are plenty of spots open. No kidding. I shared that information inside. Doesn't seem like much to ask for employees not to randomly take up EV charging spots. I will never be back. My company will never be back. It will be a bummer if RR location has the same management. read more

This place is really cool to come have lunch or just have a beer. Everything on the menu has been pretty great so far. But be very hungry when you come because you will get a lot food for your money here. They have QR codes at each table to order your food and they will bring it out to you. It will leave your tab open until you're ready to leave so you can either order more food or drinks/beers. If you don't feel using the QR code, you're free to order from the bar. But I like the QR code. It just seems more of convenience. They have a variety of beers and they also have some t-shorts you can if you really like Pint House. Parking is towards back when enter into the facility. They have plenty of parking space here. They do have an upstairs but I believe it's reserved. There is outside seating with plenty of TVs and fans during the Texas heat. read more
Pinthouse brewing is a pretty cool spot but definitely different than the Pinthouse pizza locations. Same great beer as their other pizza locations but different food options. They do have sourdough pizza and it's pretty legit. I also like the brewers board (charcuterie). For beers, electric jellyfish is always good but they usually have 15 different options with a mix of lagers, ipas, and stouts. They have a nice totally covered almost outside space and also totally inside area by the bar. read more

Pinthouse has become such a staple in Austin. The addition of the brew house was the best move. They have a solid menu of apps and sandwiches and other specials. Their outdoor patio is fantastic year round. It's fresh in the summer and warm in the winter. You can't complain about that kind of spot. It's also just really pretty and relaxing. Their staff is always extremely helpful and friendly. They'll help you figure out what beer you're looking for and of course they have their staples, lookin at you Electric Jellyfish. read more

What a cool place! I was meeting two others for a lunch and we decided to give it a try. They have an expansive patio area with seating to get some fresh air, but it's also enclosed so you're protected from the elements. There's also an indoor seating area, which is where we sat since it was a bit chilly out. They make ordering easy by providing a QR code at your table where you can input your order through your phone, or you can walk up to the bar and order. They have an array of brews on tap and a few ciders too. They mainly have apps, sandwiches, and salads. We ordered the Buffalo chicken dip - yum! It came with colored carrots, celery, and bread for dipping. We followed this with the pulled pork sandwich and the pimento and bacon jam sandwiches. Everything was good. The pimento and bacon jam sandwiches were quite rich and could easily be shared. Overall, I'd definitely recommend this place! read more
This place really impressed me! Awesome beers fresh from the source, my favorite is the Electric Jellyfish (hazy IPA) and the Old Beluga (amber) The food here is awesome, I was most impressed with the Italian sub .. a mix of Italian meats, provolone, lettuce, tomato, onion and vinaigrette on a fresh hoagie roll.. very tasty! Service was great, you can order at the bar and they give you a buzzer for the food. All in all it's a great fit in the neighborhood. The location is open with lots of indoor and outdoor seating in a modern warehouse type vibe.. all the stainless brewing equipment is prominently visible behind the bar. My only suggestion is please get great sea salt and ground pepper shakers available for the tables ... currently the only S & P options are those packets they give you at fast food joints. My friend and I both ordered flights here, you get to choose 5 beers. I selected the black star, waiting room, moxee lady, scorpion and training bines. The beer was just okay if I had to pick a favorite it would be the electric jellyfish (I did not order this since I had tried it before). This is my usual post golf brunch spot. They have a great breakfast sandwich. However, I recently popped in for dinner as I had a friend in town that wanted to check it out. Parking was pretty easy since the parking lot is huge. It was a Friday night and the place was pretty lively but still possible for us to find a table. We sampled a few beers, the guy who helped us was great and gave even better recommendations. My friend and I both ended up going with the Mexican beer which went well with our pizza and wasn't too heavy. The pizza was very tasty and they give you giant portions. BUTTTTT my favorite thing I have had here is the Southwestern Kale salad. We couldn't stop eating it. We even went back and just ordered the salad at our next visit. I don't think you can go wrong with anything you order here. They don't disappoint. read more

Easily my favorite Pinthouse location. Absolutely love the massive covered patio that is DOG FRIENDLY. TVs surround the building making it a nice spot to bath the games. Beers are always great at Pinthouse. We got the bento box to munch on as 2 of us weren't super hungry. The egg and cheese dip were just ok. The onion and sour cream dip were tasty. The hummus and veggies were by far the best part. So refreshing and hit the spot. read more
