This was such a cool place. I brought a student travel group there - 30 people total. We had our own private room and they served us food family style. We had pasta and pizza. Once we finished eating we had one hour to play a game of bowling. We got three lanes to play. It was one of the best nights of our trip.

Assortment of food

I'll leave a positive note! Although I'm still confused whether to consider Pinstripes as a restaurant? Bar? I was impressed by the quality of service and how spacious the entire space was. I went here for a reception and although the food quality was what you expect at a place like this, the employees were super nice and I had a great time.

Crispy Calamari

Came to bowl, have drinks and light bites and catch up with a friend! The service was good, very quick and attentive, the ambiance was fun and lively yet chill and elevated. A great meet up place and I loved the general area of this location! Also not pictured were fries and sweet chili wings! Great flavor and portion! I really enjoyed the cook and size of the calamari and my drink was great! Would definitely be back

*****Happy hour review***** Stopped by for HH before attending an event upstairs at Pinstripes. Had about 10 minutes until HH ended and our bartender/waiter was on it! They have quite a few tables around the bar and stools lining the bar itself. Ordered a glass of pinot grigio ($5) and the chicken avocado club flatbread ($10), which were both great deals. My glass of wine was quite refreshing and the pour was generous. I really enjoyed the flatbread (glad I listened to our waiter and didn't get the pizza version). It was perfectly crispy (not too crunchy) and came topped with a decent amout of bacon, avocado, roasted onions, and tomatoes. I also tried some of the crispy calamari (pretty good) and truffle fries ( this was a no - too crispy and not enough truffle). Pinstripes is overall a good place to head to for HH when in Georgetown.

Pinstripes is by far is one of THE best Brunch spots in DC! We have absolutely pleased whenever we have gone. They have a wide variety of food, seating has always been available and the price point is one of the best! I'll be checking them out again soon.

Pepperoni pizza

They accommodated our large ~20 person party very well. Our server was great and handled everyone's food and drink orders well. Food can be hit or miss though, I actually really enjoyed the pepperoni pizza, but another friend thought her pasta dish was quite bland and didn't want to finish it. We didn't play any games but bowling and bocce are available.

Food and drinks were good but the prices were a bit steep for the portion sizes. Predominantly the calamari. We got maybe 10 pieces for $18. The flatbread $18 with just chunks of tomato and cheese. My lemon martini was great. Overall the food is good but the prices are a bit high in my opinion.

We had a great little afternoon here! The food was pretty good. It's definitely a more expensive bowling experience. I was comparing it a lot to top golf in how it's designed!

We had a great time at Pinstripes! The food was delicious and the bowling was a blast. Our server could use some improvement, but overall, it was a fantastic outing. Would definitely recommend!

We had great family fun for our first experience here. I actually came here with my girlfriend and her two young nieces, and we had a super experience with everything. This is definitely the most high end bowling alley that I've ever been to. The fact that they have a full bar, as well as, a high end restaurant that features a buffett makes this bowling alley uniquely different. The only thing missing would be an extensive playground for kids. We spent the majority of our two hours strictly in the bowling alley. We had our own snacks, but we really would have loved to try out the buffet. We came on a Sunday and there really weren't that many people, I think about two thirds of the lanes were being used. The restaurant and the bar also had very few customers. I wouldn't mind checking out this place on a Saturday night.

Late night happy hour menu
Liv W.

The idea of late night happy hour is awesome. I mean $5 glasses of wine and draft beer is a really good deal! And $5 bowling and bocce? Amazing! But the food is less than ideal and the service during "late hours" is slow. I was very happy with my wine and truffle fries. You get a large portion, though $12 is a bit much. But nonetheless! The margherita flatbread wasn't great. And we waited quite a long time for it too. Just a lot of tomato and because the flatbread wasn't fully cooked, everything came off the second you picked up a slice. Like a soggy mess. Our service was fine. We had to go to the bar and we asked if we could go to the high tops. We were told sure. So we went to the high top and finally after waiting 15 minutes we gave up and sat at the bar. I know the bartender was cleaning up and wanting to leave, but it was 8:30 and they close at 10. I totally get it--I've been in service! But at the same time, we knew what we wanted and would be no trouble. I mean even the other guy at the bar commented on how slow service was despite the fact that the place was extremely empty. So that's slightly frustrating--but I'm happy to yap and talk for awhile so I didn't think much on it. But if you want quick service, *late night happy hour* might not be the ideal time. Ambiance and vibes were fine. Next time I'll only come for the drinks and the $5 bowling--which again is an awesome deal! I think their deals are awesome but if no one is willing to keep up with these deals, it might be a waste.

Fabulous!! This is a HUGE restaurant that we came across while playing tourist in DC. It was GREAT! We sat at the bar and enjoyed their Happy Hour Menu. We got the sliders, the ribs and the cheese curds (all were delicious). Plus I tried the Paloma (so refreshing) and hubby had a beer. Anton was the perfect waiter. We both agree that we would absolutely return here if we had more time. Total was only $56 + tip. A bargain, especially for Georgetown!

Review Hi we came here for the noon drop at 11am, came downstairs at 12:15pm where it was complete chaos and took 10-15min to get seated. All of this could've been pre-empted by taking our reservations/orders while we were at the noon drop event. Then we get seated and it took 45min for our starters to be given and only because we asked for them. Tables were seated, had ordered and eaten and paid before we could get any food on our table. Then, once we finally got out foot 10min later when we were ready to leave and just walkout, we had no cutlery and no water and had to flag our server (very challenging btw--could not find him for 45min as he was always on the other side). Now it has been over 1 hr since we ordered and we are still waiting on our food. Please understand that not only are you incapable of providing quick service as promised, but you're also completely not kid friendly as children do not have the patience to starve through 1 hr noon drop and then wait another hour for food service. Outrageous service with no apologies and no manager in sight.

I started with the buttermilk biscuits and pimento cheese. Wow. I could have eaten all of them. The bartender and I agreed that it wasn't a good idea. He said he did it once. I also had a mint julep, and while I normally like them, this one was a little different. The presentation was cool, but the drink was all ice, which was disappointing. The space is gorgeous; I love all the plants, and the light brown, light blue, and white color combination for their furniture makes the space look classy and modern. The light brown leather couches are comfortable, and I love the way they circle around the tables to create a natural, cozy booth. Our food was just as beautiful as the space. The Restaurant Week menu comes with an appetizer, main, and dessert. Given how indecisive I can be (and how expansive the normal menu is), I was grateful to have my choices narrowed down a bit. I started off my meal with the octopus. The octopus was remarkably tender and not overly chewy, and had a delightful char that gave it a slightly smoky flavor. They double downed on the smokiness with their burnt chili oil, which, alongside the lemon and salsa verde, gave the dish a wonderfully balanced smoky, savory, and slightly acidic flavor. The crushed potatoes had a lovely crispy shell on the outside and served as a great base for the tender octopus. The main course was probably the easiest choice of the evening -- I'm absolutely obsessed with branzino, so the second I saw it on the Restaurant Week menu, I knew that was what I had to get. The fish is beautifully broiled, with a nice, crispy skin and super tender, flaky flesh. It's topped with a few pieces of roasted garlic and a wedge of lemon. The fresh lemon juice, as well as the lovely side salad, offered a great pop of freshness to bring the whole dish together. And finally, for our dessert, I chose the chocolate torta. This wonderful dessert is remarkably rich and decadent, with a strong dark chocolate flavor. It's topped with a lovely marsala date sauce and scoop of sheep's yogurt ice cream, but still doesn't feel overly sweet. The sheep's yogurt in the ice cream offers a bit of tanginess, and I loved the addition of the candied walnuts for a bit of crunch.

Everything we ordered hit the mark. Prices are about what you'd expect for K Street and the overall vibe. Think $20-$25 cocktails, $20+ appetizers, and $35+ entrees. Portions, both drinks and food, lean on the smaller side, which is probably the only thing that might make you pause and wonder if it's slightly overpriced. ‍ Service Service was great. Proper Bar is a spot I'd return to when I'm in the mood for good cocktails, a stylish atmosphere, and a polished night out.
