I have to admit as long as I've lived in the DMV area this was literally my first time visiting Pinstripes lol. While it was my first visit, it definitely will not be my last! I attended for our employee summer event, and our team had such a great time. I have to give a major shoutout to Filipe (I hope I'm spelling his name correctly). He and his team took such great care of us and he was incredibly friendly throughout the event. Honestly, I would come back just because of the amazing service he provided. The food was great as well. We had pre-selected menu items that included signature wings, tenderloin sliders, Margherita and pepperoni flatbreads, Caprese sliders, feta and spinach stuffed phyllo, and pesto chicken skewers. Everything was flavorful and definitely hit the spot after some friendly competition with my coworkers. Pinstripes has a lot to offer, and I'll definitely be back. They have so many events happening, from happy hours to Music Bingo, and I believe they also host live bands. Rest of the food was fine, nothing memorable but nothing bad. If you're just here to eat, it's decent. Drinks/Bar: Disappointing Bar service was really inattentive. Had to flag someone down multiple times and waited way too long between rounds. That said, Happy Hour pricing is a good deal if you can actually get a bartender's attention. Bowling: Frustrating Biggest letdown. The bowling machine broke down twice during our game. Took a while for staff to even come help, and when they finally got it running, they didn't extend our time to make up for it. We didn't even get to finish the game we paid for. Overall, food's decent and Happy Hour prices are nice, but the slow bar service and the bowling issues with zero resolution really soured the night. Had a great time on a Thursday evening at Pinstripes! We came during happy hour and ordered a few beers, the pretzel bites, the sliders, and later had the hummus and the fries. I think the happy hour menu is all phenomenal. $5 beers and $10 food? I'm not sure you can find that many other places. The sliders were excellent and I would highly recommend them. The pretzel bites were very similar to ones you'd find at the mall. The hummus was plentiful and healthy. I'd skip the fries next time, but that's just me! Service was friendly and prompt. This was such a cool place. I brought a student travel group there - 30 people total. We had our own private room and they served us food family style. We had pasta and pizza. Dear reader, I had a work event at Pinstripes in Georgetown and had a thoroughly good time. The location is a lovely, canal-side spot, with plenty of parking nearby and a very walkable area that makes arriving and lingering equally easy. Inside, there is loads of space for bowling and bocce, so the whole place feels lively without becoming chaotic. The food also held its own, which is not always guaranteed at a venue built for group fun. The flatbread pizzas and Caesar salad were both superb and kept everyone pleasantly satisfied. There were multiple bars, which helped the afternoon move along nicely, and the employees were exceptionally kind and attentive throughout. For a work event, it struck a very pleasing balance of organised, relaxed, and genuinely enjoyable. *****Happy hour review***** Stopped by for HH before attending an event upstairs at Pinstripes. Had about 10 minutes until HH ended and our bartender/waiter was on it! They have quite a few tables around the bar and stools lining the bar itself. Ordered a glass of pinot grigio ($5) and the chicken avocado club flatbread ($10), which were both great deals. My glass of wine was quite refreshing and the pour was generous. I really enjoyed the flatbread (glad I listened to our waiter and didn't get the pizza version). It was perfectly crispy (not too crunchy) and came topped with a decent amout of bacon, avocado, roasted onions, and tomatoes. I also tried some of the crispy calamari (pretty good) and truffle fries ( this was a no - too crispy and not enough truffle). I went with a group of friends and had arrived about 35 minutes into our one hour session. I went to the desk and let them know my parties name and my shoe size. It was a bit disorganized and five or so minutes had lapsed while another group made their selections and paid. The gentleman helping me let me know there was 20 minutes left and asked if I still wanted to bowl. I looked at him oddly and said yes. Why would I ask for shoes if I didn't want to bowl? Making it to the back is pretty awkward and curves through the restaurant. We were assigned a table in the middle. We had two lanes for an hour. There is a server that comes through to serve food and drinks. It was happy hour so that was a bonus. Note- the drinks were strong. We didn't order any food, so I can't comment. There is a restaurant, so you can opt to dine afterwards. Overall it was an okay experience. There wasn't too much room for a larger party (more 6) to sit comfortably together, so several had to sit on the back bench, which wasn't ideal. I wouldn't say it wasn't a bad time, but the weird conversation at the front desk and the seating situation would make me reconsider this establishment for a larger party especially for the price tag that comes with it for such a short period of time. read more

The idea of late night happy hour is awesome. I mean $5 glasses of wine and draft beer is a really good deal! And $5 bowling and bocce? Amazing! But the food is less than ideal and the service during "late hours" is slow. I was very happy with my wine and truffle fries. You get a large portion, though $12 is a bit much. But nonetheless! The margherita flatbread wasn't great. And we waited quite a long time for it too. Just a lot of tomato and because the flatbread wasn't fully cooked, everything came off the second you picked up a slice. Like a soggy mess. Our service was fine. We had to go to the bar and we asked if we could go to the high tops. We were told sure. So we went to the high top and finally after waiting 15 minutes we gave up and sat at the bar. I know the bartender was cleaning up and wanting to leave, but it was 8:30 and they close at 10. I totally get it--I've been in service! But at the same time, we knew what we wanted and would be no trouble. I mean even the other guy at the bar commented on how slow service was despite the fact that the place was extremely empty. So that's slightly frustrating--but I'm happy to yap and talk for awhile so I didn't think much on it. But if you want quick service, *late night happy hour* might not be the ideal time. Ambiance and vibes were fine. Next time I'll only come for the drinks and the $5 bowling--which again is an awesome deal! We had great family fun for our first experience here. I actually came here with my girlfriend and her two young nieces, and we had a super experience with everything. This is definitely the most high end bowling alley that I've ever been to. The fact that they have a full bar, as well as, a high end restaurant that features a buffett makes this bowling alley uniquely different. The only thing missing would be an extensive playground for kids. We spent the majority of our two hours strictly in the bowling alley. We had our own snacks, but we really would have loved to try out the buffet. We came on a Sunday and there really weren't that many people, I think about two thirds of the lanes were being used. The restaurant and the bar also had very few customers. I wouldn't mind checking out this place on a Saturday night. read more

Fabulous!! This is a HUGE restaurant that we came across while playing tourist in DC. It was GREAT! We sat at the bar and enjoyed their Happy Hour Menu. Although the bar staff were busy with the happy hour patrons, know that you can order from the bocce area. Bocce courts are questionably soft and not flat due to the curve balls and misguided rolls, and it adds to the fun! Review Hi we came here for the noon drop at 11am, came downstairs at 12:15pm where it was complete chaos and took 10-15min to get seated. All of this could've been pre-empted by taking our reservations/orders while we were at the noon drop event. Then we get seated and it took 45min for our starters to be given and only because we asked for them. Tables were seated, had ordered and eaten and paid before we could get any food on our table. Then, once we finally got out foot 10min later when we were ready to leave and just walkout, we had no cutlery and no water and had to flag our server (very challenging btw--could not find him for 45min as he was always on the other side). Now it has been over 1 hr since we ordered and we are still waiting on our food. Please understand that not only are you incapable of providing quick service as promised, but you're also completely not kid friendly as children do not have the patience to starve through 1 hr noon drop and then wait another hour for food service. For a bowling alley in georgetown I was expecting some high prices, but I was honestly blown away by the value! I went on a Monday night for and was pleasantly surprised by a $12.99 special for bottomless Spaghetti + Salad. Both were very good and I didn't even need to get more than one serving (and I was pretty hungry). They also had a $10 bottle of wine special which I didn't get. Overall, the service, food, and atmosphere were all 10/10. My only minor complaint is that the bowling lane has a hard cutoff time. We were very close to finishing a game but got locked out. I had the pleasure of setting up an event with the establishment for a work event. When I tell you it was a whirlwind experience, I'm not lying. However, they represented on their end and pulled through and helped me understand the overall each step that needed to be completed. Sam, if you stumble upon this review, you rock and are a great asset to them. I totally appreciate you. I ended up contacting them a few months prior to our event. There was a lot of back and forth between me and them to get the details right. After menu changes, amount of people attending, lanes needed, we were finally ready to sign the deal and make a payment. I'm not going to lie, to me, it was extremely confusing and new to me, but they worked with me overall and made it one of the easiest things to do. When the day finally came for the event. Everything went smoothly. Everyone loved the event from the food, drinks, and bowling. We opted for a replenishing buffet type of food and everyone raved about the sliders, mac and cheese, chips and what not. We also had an open bar that ran for the majority of our event. For bowling, everyone loved that too. The sofas was a nice touch for seating instead of those hard benches found in regular bowling alleys. It was nice that they had socks available for people that might have been in foot apparel that didn't require socks. When we got near the end of the event, i.e. where the open bar was being cut off, the manager onsite let me know and if we wanted to keep it open. He was very communicative and respective. I also have to hand it to my crew as they were respectful of the space and started to file out to allow for a quick turnover of the space. Overall, I would definitely hit this space up so I can explore more of it. The food was great and I'm sure having a meal here would amazing. Came here for an event where we had reserved a private room and a couple high tables near the bocce balls. The room had kind of a depressing vibe and I didn't really enjoy it, but I enjoyed the high tops during the bocce ball. The bocce ball was fun to play, but we got bored pretty quickly. We ordered catering which consisted of pesto chicken (which was dry), couple pizzas ( honestly tasted kind of like freezer cardboard boxes), bruschetta, and pigs in the blanket. It was all pretty average, but I was expecting something nicer. The waiters were hard to find with our large crowd and they weren't super friendly. There wasn't great communication across the waiters because some were saying we can only order beer and wine, Some were saying we can order cocktails, and some were saying our tab was already closed before our event even ended. I enjoyed the time with my friends, but I'm not sure I would want to come back again. I didn't go bowling, but I did have friends play who said it was fun. Our party was large -- 22 people and our server handled all the drink orders with patience and grace. The bowling is standard-- no frills. Typical bowling alley, but the food we had, chili wings, burger sliders, chicken parm sandwiches and house salad were a step above your average bowling alley food.
