    Sunset view

Great place for Date night if you want to catch a view of the sunset. Also, if you stay late enough you can also see the moon from the balcony. I'm taking away 1 star for the food. If you want to come here for the drinks, I would recommend, but make sure you eat first. The food is not great for the prices you're paying for them.

Checking this place before I hit up Blues Alley. Beautiful views from the roof and the drinks and guacamole was good too. Check this place out. Pretty cool

I was very excited to come here. It has been on my list for months. We popped in here briefly for drinks before dinner. Despite it being cold the place was crowded. Myself and friends got drinks and French fries to tie us over before dinner at another location. The views were good and I can't wait to come back when the weather is nicer. Our bartender Carlos took good care of us and made us shots of tequila, Rose, lime or lemon juice and it was delicious.

Pictured is the Marilyn Monroe spritz with mint. Very refreshing. The service was great. The view was pretty but somewhat blocked by the plastic curtain that surrounded the rooftop.

This place is off the beaten path a but and easy to miss. It's diagonal from the Nike Store and above the Graham hotel. The place offer views of arlington and Georgetown. Drinks are pretty expensive and there's definitely a premium for the views. We didn't try any food but it seems like a decent date spot to try if youre in the area or just finished shopping.

Gorgeous views of Georgetown, especially at sunset. I recommend going on a warmer day and a bit early as it gets crowded. Never had a drink I didn't like here!

The service, drinks, and views were spectacular! We had a great time here jamming to music after the low key vibes faded away and the night started to pick up. One of the bartenders was an absolute blast and took shots with us. All of the drinks were top notch and delicious.

Great cocktails, excellent service, and nice views! The cocktails pack a punch at the rooftop, more boozy drinks than the Alex in the basement. The Roosevelt Island cocktail was spirit forward with bourbon and vodka and a subtle citrus flavor from the lemon juice. The Classic Daiquiri was my pick and a bit sweeter, the sugar and lemon juice help to cut the rum. Hubby really enjoyed the Manhattan, one of the best in the city! The bartenders were friendly, attentive and on point. They made great drinks! The Hummus plate was a miss. I enjoyed the purple carrots and fresh veggies, surprisingly the hummus didn't taste that fresh and the pita crackers weren't crispy and soggy. The skyline views are nice, but most of the tables overlook Arlington - Rosslyn and Pentagon City. There are only a couple of tables overlooking the Potomac River with the Kennedy Center and Washington Monument. I would walk around the deck and see if there's an open table. While other bars like the Vue (formerly POV) and Crimson boast sweeping views of the DC skyline, they are much more pretentious and crowded! The comfy couches are perfect for lounging, there are small tables for 2 and larger sofas for groups. On a Sunday evening, our table of 2 walk-in was welcomed! It wasn't crowded with plenty of space and open tables. No reservations, 1st come 1st service (hotel guests get preference). Skip the basement and head up straight to the rooftop!

This rooftop has a beautiful view of Georgetown!!! The drinks were a 4/5 and the buffalo wings has a lot of flavor and crispy..the decor on the rooftop is super cute and instagram worthy!

This hotel rooftop bars offers excellent views of M Street. Most cocktails will run you $18-22. The staff were friendly and helpful. Drinks were good but about what you would expect in that price range. The music was a bit too loud for conversation.

Came here after dinner to grab drinks and enjoy the views. They currently do not take reservations so it is a first come first serve basis. When we arrived they said there would be a slight wait before a table was ready as a party of 2. It only took about 5 minutes before they got a table for us and we were able to be seated. We ordered the bread pudding for food and I got a peach paradise cocktail. The cocktail was good, very sour but I liked it. The bread pudding was delicious as well. The views were great too. You can see downtown Arlington on one side and if you walk around you can see Kennedy center and a little bit of the Washington monument. It's a great place to come with friends or even date night. There were heaters placed around as well which helped as it got cooler in the night.

It's a sexy basement vinyl den with additional outdoor seating, 10/10 unique cocktails, and incredible Japanese inspired small plates. Between two visits, we have tried 6 different drinks. They are named after songs and listed on the back of a fake vinyl cover. Each costs around $20, but with the mandatory tip and tax, it comes to around $26-28 per drink. The since I left you, though, is worth every penny. It is similar to an old fashioned but a little sweeter, with bourbon (makers mark), and while the menu says it also has miso, blackberry, cardamom, and cacao, I wouldn't say those flavors come through. But it is one of the best cocktails being served in DC right now. It is so good. They serve it with a cardamom tuile that is delicious as well. There is a lot of variety on here, but my number 2 is the Roses, a bright red gin based drink with a hint of fruitiness and a spicy kick in the back end. If you want something a little sweeter, the Takeover is a cognac based drink with coffee notes served with a mini donut. The food is exceptionally well seasoned and so flavorful. The fried chicken cannot be missed, and I love that you can get it in half or full size portions. The shrimp tempura might be even better. You get four large pieces that are super crisp and have a little orange sauce on them. Amazing. Our second visit we tried their chips and dip, and these potato chips alone are worth a visit. Large, crunchy, and served with a tasty ranch dip. I think 2 dishes is good for two people to fill you up, but add a third if hungry. The place is quite expensive, but they are worth it. For a date night, they are a great choice. Four drinks and three dishes shared between two people came to around $195, but as of this review, they are offering a $30 off deal if you pay through the app In Kind. Bonus points because the first time we came, they seated us maybe 5 minutes after our reservation time, and they gave us a free glass of cava. Top notch customer service right there

This bar is sweet -- awesome music, a neat menu, truly craft cocktails, and a unique menu. We tried several cocktails and each was delicious - from spicy to sweet, they don't miss. We also tried the cheese burger egg rolls and the tuna hand roll. The food is expensive for what you get but it's advertised to be small bites, not a meal. The egg rolls felt like remixed in n out, and as a Californian, I was grateful. Why not 5 stars? With the premium pricetag, I do expect premium service. The bartender was more interested in chatting with some folks he knew who came to sit at the bar. He also spent a lot of time chatting up the couple next to us, so do sit at the bar if you're feeling social. However, for the spare attention he did provide us, he was a bit condescending when we asked for a different glass for a drink that came in a bowl. It was slow until the very end of our stay and yet there were several times where I had an empty glass for a long period (and wanted to order more) or needed water. FYI for 6 drinks and a few bar bites it was $165... we went for a cheap burger dinner afterwards!
