We have been for many different reasons, and each time Everyone is so nice to us. Every area and space in The Graham is so unique. Located in the middle of Georgetown, you can walk to many places and other spots of DC are just a short car ride away. Great place for Date night if you want to catch a view of the sunset. Also, if you stay late enough you can also see the moon from the balcony. I'm taking away 1 star for the food. If you want to come here for the drinks, I would recommend, but make sure you eat first. The food is not great for the prices you're paying for them. read more

I was very excited to come here. It has been on my list for months. We popped in here briefly for drinks before dinner. Despite it being cold the place was crowded. Myself and friends got drinks and French fries to tie us over before dinner at another location. The views were good and I can't wait to come back when the weather is nicer. This place is off the beaten path a but and easy to miss. It's diagonal from the Nike Store and above the Graham hotel. The place offer views of arlington and Georgetown. Drinks are pretty expensive and there's definitely a premium for the views. We didn't try any food but it seems like a decent date spot to try if youre in the area or just finished shopping. read more

Great cocktails, excellent service, and nice views! The cocktails pack a punch at the rooftop, more boozy drinks than the Alex in the basement. The Roosevelt Island cocktail was spirit forward with bourbon and vodka and a subtle citrus flavor from the lemon juice. The Classic Daiquiri was my pick and a bit sweeter, the sugar and lemon juice help to cut the rum. Hubby really enjoyed the Manhattan, one of the best in the city! The bartenders were friendly, attentive and on point. They made great drinks! The Hummus plate was a miss. I enjoyed the purple carrots and fresh veggies, surprisingly the hummus didn't taste that fresh and the pita crackers weren't crispy and soggy. The skyline views are nice, but most of the tables overlook Arlington - Rosslyn and Pentagon City. There are only a couple of tables overlooking the Potomac River with the Kennedy Center and Washington Monument. I would walk around the deck and see if there's an open table. While other bars like the Vue (formerly POV) and Crimson boast sweeping views of the DC skyline, they are much more pretentious and crowded! The comfy couches are perfect for lounging, there are small tables for 2 and larger sofas for groups. On a Sunday evening, our table of 2 walk-in was welcomed! It wasn't crowded with plenty of space and open tables. No reservations, 1st come 1st service (hotel guests get preference). Skip the basement and head up straight to the rooftop! read more

Came here after dinner to grab drinks and enjoy the views. They currently do not take reservations so it is a first come first serve basis. When we arrived they said there would be a slight wait before a table was ready as a party of 2. It only took about 5 minutes before they got a table for us and we were able to be seated. We ordered the bread pudding for food and I got a peach paradise cocktail. The cocktail was good, very sour but I liked it. The bread pudding was delicious as well. The views were great too. You can see downtown Arlington on one side and if you walk around you can see Kennedy center and a little bit of the Washington monument. It's a great place to come with friends or even date night. There were heaters placed around as well which helped as it got cooler in the night. read more

This hotel rooftop bars offers excellent views of M Street. Most cocktails will run you $18-22. The staff were friendly and helpful. Drinks were good but about what you would expect in that price range. The music was a bit too loud for conversation. read more

Came here late on a Sunday night . Mac took care of us. So happy it was open until midnight. We were told when checking in downstairs that we had to buy a food item. I ordered the Mr.popular. It came in a coup glass with a cucumber ribbon garnish. It was delicious!! I could taste the cucumber. My friend's drink was strong. The view was nice and the music was the perfect volume and tempo. The type of music that is not intrusive but encourages conversation. There were lights to create a romantic and visually flattering ambiance. I can't recommend this bar highly enough. The view from this rooftop is great. The service has always been good. From experience we know that food and cocktails at most touristy places with views and cool vibes will likely be inverse of the views, but we have tried the cocktails and food here. The wine and beer list is meh and overpriced even with expectations of that, but the cocktails were watered down or the recipes were very off across the board. read more

This is a place to grab a drink with a view. Not the place to eat at all. The service was incredible. They were very attentive and pleasant with great energy. The apps were suck a joke, with the waitress annoyed we asked about the faulty speaker cracking right behind my seat that we left in less than an hour, as soon as we could. No music would've been better than having that broken of a speaker playing. I would NOT recommend ordering the bruschetta which comes on white bread or the fig and goat cheese flat bread that comes with a drizzle of goat cheese that is hidden under the unlisted greens (see photos). Just a few steps off M Street is a great little spot where the rooftop bar had a nice crowd but we were still able to grab seats at the bar. Most of the tables along the railing were full and offered a fun view of M street. Our bartender Carlos was super friendly and engaged us immediately and made some great Manhattans. Perhaps the best sunset view in the district (other than Book Hill) is at the Roof Top at the Graham. The Graham (wonder if it's named after the Graham family of Georgetown which owned the Washington Post) is a boutique hotel located south of M street in Georgetown. The roof top is, well on the roof top. Not only are the drinks above par but Max (the Bar Tender) and Jeff (the Graham's GM) are the epitome of gracious hosts. Max is wonderful at his recommendations. When asked between his abilities with either an old fashion or Manhattan he confessed faster than an Altar Boy with his hands in the cookie jar: old fashion was his forte. And his old fashion did not disappoint. We were given complimentary Mulled Wine to start before our drinks came out. We ordered the flatbread with figs; Could have been warmed a little more. However, the main reason for your visit is the roof top views: absolutely spectacular and amazing. I could only think of the crowds post Covid. This is the worst bar I've ever been. A year ago the front desk people of the hotel kept us waiting for so long and didn't allow us to take the elevator, so we had to wait for 20 mins and ended up going up by stairs. After we found the seats, some people at another table laughed loudly at us saying "Look! He made them climb the stairs". Ironically we saw several other groups arrived right after us by taking the elevator which made us extremely confused about the front desk people - Are they racist or uneducated? We sat at the bar of The Alex at The Graham "Speakeasy" talking with the bartender when a very young-looking manager arrived and proceeded to find out if we were having a good time. When we were getting ready to leave, he told us about their roof top bar which we checked out. The views had a clear picture of the Washington monument and other landmarks. A fun place to go to with you and a couple of friends! Even if you go on a busy friday or saturday night, the waiting line is less than 30 minutes bc the security guards do a good job of moving the line along. you'll get decent views of georgetown. you're on about the 6th floor of a building so its not too high up so keep that in mind when you take photos with your friends. as for the drinks, i ordered the peach paradise, which included the ketel one botanicals, peach liquer, elderflower, and lemon. it was incrediblyyy strong and i had them go back and tone it down a bit but for $17 cocktails, i guess it's better to be on the stronger side! read more
