We did not make reservations but I highly suggest that you do because tables were limited and the place was packed. However, much appreciation to the hostess for getting a table for us after a brief wait by the crowded bar. Ambiance: we went around 8pm following an early dinner and hung out for a while. The decor, lighting, bar area, and music welcomed grown and sophisticated vibes, with a sprinkle of sexy. Loved it! Drinks: I ordered the femme fatale, excellent selection if you've been drinking previously and needed some citrus notes and lite liquor pour to cool you down. This drink was both refreshing and tasty, thoroughly enjoyed it. Bar bites: we ordered mini burgers which can only be described as amazing! The black pepper onion jam added some sweet balance to the savory burger, which was prepared well. The bun was fresh and lightly roasted and the aioli sauce and dill pickle complemented the entire thing. Overall, we had an incredible time and will return to enjoy more drinks, bar bites, and a great music playlist.

My new secret spot to chill and have some great drinks and bites is nicely tucked away. A+ for the atmosphere, which exudes grown and sexy vibes all day. I absolutely love this place. With a feel reminiscent of a cigar lounge, the ambiance is perfect for unwinding. Great music and decor. The mini burgers are addictive, and the service is on point. Reservations are highly recommended if you want to experience this fantastic vibe.

Loved this place. Came here with a large group the night before thanksgiving for the first time and loved the vibe. Will certainly come back, especially for hh again. I will say it would have been five stars if they hadn't been so weird about not only bar seating but also we had more people be able to join then we expected and they made it very obvious numerous times their annoyance by this even with the bar 50 percent empty. It wasn't aggressive or anything but we were aware of the fact this was annoying and ended up cashing out to not cause problems. All in all though a cool spot and will certainly be back but wouldn't come with more than 4.

Reynolds is my favorite cocktail bar in DC. It's quietly tucked away in dupont and as soon as you walk in, it feels cozy. I love the design choices in the lighting, seating, font, etc. My first time here, we walked in and sat at the bar where we had fantastic porn star martinis. Another time, we were irritated and hungry after a poor experience at Casamara so we stopped by Reynolds where our server instantly cheered us up with her sweet welcome, bar snacks, and efforts to make sure we were fed. We still rave about the burger bites and tuna tartare, which were perfect for two people to share and exactly what we needed that night. I've heard it's also decorated for the holidays and hope to be back soon. Highly recommend!

Such a grown and sexy spot in DC that is perfect for date night or a girls night out. The staff was so friendly and the espresso martinis were phenomenal with the most delicious cacao nibs.

Reynolds bar is a beautiful intimate cocktail bar that I absolutely loved. I stopped by with a friend after having dinner at Casamara and we both had a great time! The space feels like a speakeasy with dim lighting, candles, a beautiful bar big comfortable lounge chairs surrounding the space that's perfect for a date night cap or to catch up with friends. Very chic, sexy and mature. The cocktails were well made and I'm looking forward to returning to try other cocktails on the menu. They also have a few food options on the menu that I would love to check out next time. I absolutely love the space and will definitely be back.

Reynold's is a new cocktail bar in DuPont Circle serving crafted cocktails and Americana bites. It's an intimate dimly lit space perfect for a start or end to a date night or small group outing. The prices are pretty standard for a cocktail bar in DC and they have a wide variety of drink options. The service is great and the bartenders are very helpful with suggestions and making drinks based on what you like not to just what's on the menu.

classy ambiance with plenty of space for seating. prices are reasonable and drinks quite strong. they currently have holiday specials and every time the pizza scene plays on home alone, they pass out free pizza. so fun!

Came here for happy hour on a Saturday and so glad I did! The space is gorgeous: comfy big chairs, moody lighting, and a fun playlist. Even the menus felt thoughtfully designed. Cocktails were tasty and a great deal for happy hour, and I loved the little details like the etched flower glasses and fun serving plates. We shared the chicken sliders, corn dogs, and poutine. the poutine was definitely the winner. Service was friendly and on point. Overall, such a fun spot with great vibes. I'll definitely be back!

My friend who's moving out of DC recommended we meet up here for happy hour--and I'm so glad we did! This hidden gem is super cool and cozy. I had a glass of wine this time but didn't get the chance to try the other drinks or food--definitely coming back for that. The service was awesome!

    milk and cookies

The vibe is great, very loungey and everything is wooden. The cocktails were good and LOVED the milk & cookies as a dessert for the holidays, so cute. Went the day after Christmas hoping they were still going to be playing holiday movies but they weren't anymore unfortunately which was disappointing. The server was nice and even asked the manager for us though. The day we went it was not super busy but I don't think that's usually the case.

It's a sexy basement vinyl den with additional outdoor seating, 10/10 unique cocktails, and incredible Japanese inspired small plates. Between two visits, we have tried 6 different drinks. They are named after songs and listed on the back of a fake vinyl cover. Each costs around $20, but with the mandatory tip and tax, it comes to around $26-28 per drink. The since I left you, though, is worth every penny. It is similar to an old fashioned but a little sweeter, with bourbon (makers mark), and while the menu says it also has miso, blackberry, cardamom, and cacao, I wouldn't say those flavors come through. But it is one of the best cocktails being served in DC right now. It is so good. They serve it with a cardamom tuile that is delicious as well. There is a lot of variety on here, but my number 2 is the Roses, a bright red gin based drink with a hint of fruitiness and a spicy kick in the back end. If you want something a little sweeter, the Takeover is a cognac based drink with coffee notes served with a mini donut. The food is exceptionally well seasoned and so flavorful. The fried chicken cannot be missed, and I love that you can get it in half or full size portions. The shrimp tempura might be even better. You get four large pieces that are super crisp and have a little orange sauce on them. Amazing. Our second visit we tried their chips and dip, and these potato chips alone are worth a visit. Large, crunchy, and served with a tasty ranch dip. I think 2 dishes is good for two people to fill you up, but add a third if hungry. The place is quite expensive, but they are worth it. For a date night, they are a great choice. Four drinks and three dishes shared between two people came to around $195, but as of this review, they are offering a $30 off deal if you pay through the app In Kind. Bonus points because the first time we came, they seated us maybe 5 minutes after our reservation time, and they gave us a free glass of cava. Top notch customer service right there

This bar is sweet -- awesome music, a neat menu, truly craft cocktails, and a unique menu. We tried several cocktails and each was delicious - from spicy to sweet, they don't miss. We also tried the cheese burger egg rolls and the tuna hand roll. The food is expensive for what you get but it's advertised to be small bites, not a meal. The egg rolls felt like remixed in n out, and as a Californian, I was grateful. Why not 5 stars? With the premium pricetag, I do expect premium service. The bartender was more interested in chatting with some folks he knew who came to sit at the bar. He also spent a lot of time chatting up the couple next to us, so do sit at the bar if you're feeling social. However, for the spare attention he did provide us, he was a bit condescending when we asked for a different glass for a drink that came in a bowl. It was slow until the very end of our stay and yet there were several times where I had an empty glass for a long period (and wanted to order more) or needed water. FYI for 6 drinks and a few bar bites it was $165... we went for a cheap burger dinner afterwards!

I know reservations are probably highly recommended, but we were fortunate to walk in at just the right moment and snag a seat. The seating is cozy and inviting, perfect for a relaxed evening. The atmosphere is just my style, an elegant, dark, grown and sexy vibe that really sets the mood. The decor is striking, with thoughtful touches that create an inviting space to unwind. While it leans a bit on the pricier side, the exceptional service more than justifies the cost. Jordan and the team were incredibly knowledgeable about both the drinks and food menu, offering suggestions that perfectly matched our tastes. We tried two standout drinks that I can't recommend enough: the Attractive Nuisance and El Tiburon, (which is an Old Fashioned made with gin). The bartenders here clearly know what they're doing, each drink was crafted with care and precision. The good music in the background added to the overall ambiance, making it a delightful spot to spend an evening.

Ambiance: from the outside you'd have no idea that a hidden treasure awaits you up a flight of stairs. The decor was very mysterious, perfectly dimmed, and sexy. They added greenery near the hostess station to create what I would describe as an exotic/jungle vibe. This area also contained a beautiful small bar and a few cozy seatings. Next, the hostess led us to a table inside where the magic of candles, cozy tables, and intimate booths immediately meets your eyes. Did I mention that we sat in most comfy green velvet chairs in our cozy booth? How sexy! Service: our waiter, Jordan, was the best! He provided great service and recommendations. However, shoutout to the rest of the staff because it was truly all hands on deck. Drinks: the bartender is indeed a mixologist! There is no question of the magic he created in a glass. Her drink- I ordered the Attractive Nuisance, an elevated spritz. The drink was perfectly balanced with flavors to include G.H. Mumm Champagne, Avua Prata Cachaca, Cocchi Americano, Saffron, Vanilla. I literally tasted all the flavors in the drink and the liquor ratio was just right. Of course I went with another round, you simply have to try it understand why I did. His drink: El Tiburón-Let's just say that he said that this is now one of his favorite cocktails because it was smooth! Small bites: the kitchen was out of mussels and their famous donuts so we decided to try the Franks en Crute, the sexy adult version of pigs in a blanket lol. Such a delicious treat, well balanced flavors giving both sweet (flaky puff pastry) and savory (well grilled wagyu beef). Definitely recommend. The music was perfect for the evening! The bar was filled with all matured folks enjoying their group meets or dates, the atmosphere welcomed all. As I stated earlier, this has now become a regular on the list and I'm excited to visit again.
