My family and I went Saturday night to bowl the wait was over a hour which was fine because we didn't make a reservation I purchased cards for my children to plays games while we wait and only 1 out of 4 of the machines worked which was annoying So we sent the kids to play and set at the bar to have drinks and food Kascey was our bartender and she was wonderful but she was ALONE she had to make drinkers for the waiters and waitresses , take care of the people seating at the bar as well as take food orders Mean while the manger with the red hair and I believe blue shirt Caucasian woman (between 4 and 7) was standing behind the bar not helping her at all. She asked her and pretended help but nothing . She would leave and come back still to only move napkins from one place to another or adjust the coolers Mean while the bartender is working her butt off to help customers. Visited the counter 3 times before finally being given a new lane. Very frustrating. I booked online and paid 3X the amount when it was myself and 2 grandkids. I had no idea it was cheaper to not make a reservation. Purchased a playing card and encountered 5 machines that took my points off my card and then didn't work. I mentioned to an employee with no action. So many machines NOT working. The ticket store has about 30% of items not marked with ticket cost. Probably will never go back here. Visited this location since it was a midpoint for my friend and I to catch up with our families. We have our teens money and sat at the bar with our hubbies since there was a 2 hr wait for a table. To begin with the place was a hot mess. But the worst part was the drinks... the glasses looked dirty and the drinks had a horrible taste to them. I came here for Brunch with my family and wow! We had 8 people, four of us eating egg benedict. Most places get one or two right leaving others with food envy and disappointment, not PINSTACK. All four of our egg benedicts came out with perfectly crisp English muffins, runny eggs and a beautiful hollandaise sauce. My sister had the skillet, the potatoes HOLY. CRAP. amazing! We split the pancake stack (with to die for apple butter) and all eight of us had pancakes with breakfast without having to break the bank. The atmosphere, I suggest on the beautiful fall days we have had recently, sitting on the patio. They have games to play and enjoy while waiting for food so you can have fun, and laugh without feeling like you are waiting at all. The server staff was great, they communicated with us, remembered our little quirks when ordering and kept us up to date with the time of the food and even came out to the games to let us know our food was about to be up and asked if we wanted to have them hold it for a few seconds so we could finish up our game of corn hole. The mask sign on the door does not reflect what is revealed on the inside. Employees have their masks below their noses or resting under their chins. This is the first time I've seen employees not comply or follow the guidelines. Next, a large group of customers didn't wear masks. It wasn't because they were eating or drinking; it was simply because no one forced them to wear them. However, it's a $250 violation if masks aren't worn. Is the sign just up there to say they have complied? They do have hand sanitizing stations! However, I did not see them used after gameplay. My party had issues with the staff as far as being neglected. They didn't have silverware, ordered drinks were not given in a decent amount of time, and some of the checks were incorrect. My drink came out in a timely manner, but I was told not to order the food due to wait time and flavor of some of the menu choices. I usually go to the PinStack in Plano, but this was for my friend's birthday party. We had fun doing the bumper cars and rock climbing. However, if you are compliant about wearing masks for the health and safety of yourself and others, I would definitely find another PinStack to patronize. read more

If you're looking for adult and kid fun, Pinstack offers it all!! I had so much fun at Pinstack for my friend's birthday. We played arcade games, bowled and played laser tag--all for an affordable price. The bar food is delicious! I ordered the "his" sangria, wings and Mac n cheese balls. Brandon, the bartender was extremely rude to me. It was obvious that if you weren't at the bar to order drinks, he could care less about servicing your order. I asked for water and he only gave a water to my friend who also ordered a drink too. Kacee was there to save the day. She's really the only reason why i give this place 4 stars instead of 3. Our dinner plans ran a bit over but my husband and his friend headed over first to check in, got a call on the way there to confirm we were still coming, he arrived 2 minutes after the call. Then it went south..quickly. The hostess went to show him into the VIP area (that we paid extra for) and there were people in our lane. She was confused (husband said she was great) He asked for the manager to see how we can get it corrected and discounted as this was a big deal because he did all this for my birthday. The manager Chris was agitated as soon as the conversation started and offered a very minimal discount with a take it or leave it attitude and when my husband responded with, this is Bull$** he proceeded to THROW MY HUSBAND OUT. No trying to make their error right, no offer of a refund (we'll take care of the charges they still proceeded to charge). When my husband tried to respond, he was just again told, to get out. I will gladly take our business elsewhere after booking a $850 evening with our friends and expecting a good time to be met with that encounter that took less than a minute to go down. And I'll make sure that everyone I know knows how they treat their potential patrons. Water isn't free regardless of you ordering food/drinks or the temp outside (110F today). I went here with a group of friends, we ordered drinks and one girl requested water. The bartender told her she had to pay two dollars and water isn't free regardless of the temp outside. I told the manager what the bartender said and he apologized and said "they probably misunderstood and thought you asked for a bottle". I asked the bartender in three different ways and he told me the same thing. I asked another bartender and she told me "mgmt wants to cut down on plastic waste so they're asking we charge customer for water". I've been going to Pinstack since their grand opening for work functions and meet ups and never before have I heard of this gross violation of human rights. While this place is fun for family gatherings and get togethers, this business practice is appalling and I can no longer recommend Pinstack to others. My boyfriend and I went here for the first time last night. It did not start out well as there is a staff shortage and it was taking forever to get a drink. I found a manager named Wendy there that turned the night around for us and made us feel quite welcome! I was really wanting to ride the bumper cars but no one was manning them. She found an employee to open the bumper cars and gave us a free ride :) Very fun. (Wish the bumper car area were a little bigger, but still very fun) Wendy happened to walk by when a machine ate up credits off of our cards and she took it upon herself to replace them. Review is for Bar area visit only: This bowling alley is out in the cut off of 635. Very modern feel! If i didn't know better, I'd say it was a more upscale dave and buster's. I came up to visit a few friends at the bar area. They do have a few TVs along the bar area which is nice. One feature I love is that they had outlets under the bar top. My phone always ends up dying or being close to dead at night so this is an amazing feature more bars should have. I am obsessed with their wine wall and their local beer selection. The beers are pricex fairly ranging from $4-7. The bartender was taking care of us so we didn't see him as often as we'd hoped but towards the end of the night he came by more often. I'll have to try the food and bowling next visit! The kitchen is right behind the bar so it left my mouth watering as we saw food coming out including a catering size platter of fries and chicken wings yum!!! read more

Finally something in the area for when we leave the office. This is a great happy hour spot. Lots of seating and good specials to keep us coming back. Brandon our bartender has one of the best attitudes and took wonderful care of my team on more than one occasion. The appetizers are great to order for a table. Enough to share. The blowing lanes are fresh, polished and ready to get banged up! Loved their sexy private bowling area that can be rented out. That was a complete surprise because it's tucked off in the corner. You would never know Pinstack had an area that could be rented off. So if you got a little extra pocket change, I truly recommend renting the space out. I had always heard of Pin Stack, but have never been. Remember that old Batman cartoon that showed on Channel 33 (was WB then, but CW now). They use the same font, so this place always stood out to me. Fortunately, I was granted the opportunity to go here (for free!!!) by my social service agency's founder, Bishop T.D. Jakes for the Christmas Social. It's quite like Dave and Busters, but with bumper cars and bowling. It s a bit loud. It does have ample parking. As you walk in, hostess greet you. They sure were sweet. The directed me to the back left. There, a large spot near the lanes existed, partitioned off a bit per party. Ours was huge, so we had a lot. Behind this space, a designated glassed off area. We had like 1million folks, so it was packed. It likely seated maybe 200. It was a space of long tables to enjoy food. It was nice, clean and comfortable. I enjoyed the Pinball - Guardians of the Galaxy, Ghostbusters, Walking Dead and more (as of 12/2019). The main area had rock climbing and tightrope walking. I had on a swift pair of Calvin Klein dress shoes, so I missed that (bummer) but it was joyous to see my coworkers chicken out. All in all, this place was a blast. No one was attentive, customer service was terrible. This was a Tuesday night as well, so it's not as if the place was packed like a weekend. Oh Pinstack. Well, initially when I arrived here I thought it was a decent establishment. Well think again. The actually establishment is well kept, nice and tidy, but the overall service is a hot mess. My friends and I decided to bowl so we didn't expect to much. As we were seated for about 15mins our waitress served the family next to us and checked in then several times without chexk in us at all. We finally flagged her down just to order our drinks. Well, our drinks took about another 15mins (I have no idea why). Ok so after our drink came after a million years of wait time we had to wait another 25mins to order our food. We finally flagged down a separate waiter who brought us our drinks...she said that she'll have to get our waiter for us to order our food. Next thing we knew a third waiter came over and asked us if we were ok....so we finally asked could we order some food. He took our order and a from that point I just became more frustrated. After about a 30min or more wait we decided we wanted to cancel our simple nacho order. Well, the cashier and manager decided that they wanted to argue with my fiance about how he can't cancel our nacho order even though we were now finished with our game and our nachos still hadn't came out. To our surprise our nachos magically showed up 10mins after we complained. Hmmm what a coincidence. Well, y'all get how our experience was so I won't continue on about how we waited another 10mins before we are about to flag someone down to pay for our order just to hear that both of our waiters went home for the night. Spoke with the host to get the wait time on a table and was told that the wait would be an hour we came back 30min later and it was a different host who told us we could sit anywhere. We had a seat at a high top table in the bar area. No one and I mean no one not a waiter or Manger came by to take our order. Would leave 0 stars if i could. First started off bowling with a horrible sewer smell with no warning of the horrible smell before purchasing a lane. They told us a sewer pipe burst or something but failed to mention that when we were buying tickets in the front where the smell wasn't detectable. Then we bought game passes and tried to do the ropes course and bumper cars and was told that 1. the rope course didn't have the right employees to do it and 2. It's been over 5 years since Irving had a Bowling / Amusement / Arcade place. Then Pinstack came and picked up where AMF left off in late 2012. Friday night was activity night for my church's single adults group, and being the avid bowler I am, I wanted to join. Upon entering, it's like a hybrid of AMF and Dave & Busters. Of course, being it was on one of the busiest nights, it was a long wait on the regular lanes. Though we were very fortunate to be booked in the VIP section. Overall, we had a great experience, the service was awesome, the food and drinks were delish, the environment is very vibrant, staff members are very friendly and courteous, and......what else is there to say? On a 5-point scale, this gets 5s all around! Granted its farther north in Irving near I-635, I would highly recommend giving this place a whirl if you're wanting to blow off some steam, though if going on a Friday night or Saturday, expect a long wait...but it will be worth it. read more

Can we take a moment to talk about their plastic usage? We (a group of 3) went for bowling and ordered drinks. We were going to order food but our server went MIA so we decided to eat elsewhere after bowling. So, we get our drinks in single-use plastic cups and straws. I get it, they probably don't want to risk someone spilling a drink. We asked for refills to justify the cups in the first place and the server comes back with 3 additional cups and 3 additional straws. Now, don't get me wrong. Plastic is cheap and easy to use. But whenever climate change, sustainability, and single-use plastics are a trending topic and issue, I think it makes for a great opportunity to change the current practices. Straws and single-use plastic in general have been getting a lot of media attention. France has done away with single-use plastic cups and cutlery so has Seattle. Even McDonald's is looking for plastic straw alternatives. Straws may seem small, but it adds up. In the US alone, we use 500 million plastic straws everyday! Currently, 8 million tons of plastic winds up in the ocean each year. Most of that is single-use plastic which is responsible for killing over a 100,000 marine animals annually. We visit Pinstack LC frequently. Unfortunately, due to our own increased awareness of sustainable options and goals of being less wasteful, we will not be going back to Pinstack. Their excessive use of plastics and lack of customer service have pushed us to go elsewhere. I reached out to the company but have yet to hear back about their thoughts on changing this. Did you know plastic lids can work on glass cups? or any reusable cup? It's just a matter of ordering the right size. read more

Never been before, but tagged along with my friends on a night out. Told us it would be an hour to bowl, waited about an hour and twenty minutes. Drinks were great, but the service took forever and the bartender was a bit rude. Second time to the bar the service wasn't any better, but once again the drinks were good. Played in the arcade a bit while waiting to bowl, good selection of games and the arcade wasn't crowded at all because lots of people were bowling. It was a little strange they did the bowling by the hour rather than how many frames you wanted - we got cut off during our second game because the time ran out. Oh well, still fun nevertheless. Biggest complaint would be the service as well as the cleanliness of the restrooms. There was garbage, toilet paper, and water all over the restrooms, by the toilets as well as by the sinks. Went in there more than once during my visit and the quality was the same - so it remained untouched by employees the whole time I was there.
