Came here with my oldest for a bit of competition. Axe throwing challenge and the old man had to show the young buck that although old I still have got it. I beat my sone all games we played. But honestly it really did not matter... we had a blast! It was so much fun!! Great big facilities with lots of lanes. They serve food and drink and they even had NA beer. My sine and i threw axes for a while and then went into their old stand up video games... I mean like classics, centipede, pac man, galaga, defender, and even space invaders! There were 100 games or more in here. You pay a flat fee and then play for a given time any game you want. What a great spot! From the axe throwing to the food (I just had the fries but they were really good), to the games... I mean what a way to spend a few hours... my son and I had a fantastic hours.

I came here for a company party. The games and drinks were fun. The food was mediocre. The staff was polite albeit understaffed.Overall I enjoyed it, but they need to have more people on hand, the bar line was too long.

The bar area to the left. Entry to the escape room in the middle. Ask throwing on the right.

We were pleasantly surprised to find that this gaming café has classic video games. They have a wall of pinball machines, along with some of my favorites, such as Frogger, Ms. Pac Man, Asteroids, Galaga, Defender, Pac-Man, Space Invaders. You can pay a flat rate for 30 minutes or 60 minutes. They also have escape rooms, darts, and ax throwing. They have a bar and food, but we didn't try anything this time. Will definitely be back.

Absolutely recommend this place family friendly. Gary was a huge help explaining about his organization and how it functions. The food was absolutely amazing. Highly recommend the nachos with the brisket there's adult beverages, and Coke cola beverages do not go with open toe shoes. They will give you a pair of shoes and a clean pair of socks, I learned the hard way....lol!!!! there's always somebody there close by to help you and instruct you how to properly throw an ax. It was a great experience!

Corky's is awesome. Found this place on google and booked and hour of axe throwing with my daughter. We walked in and were greeted right away by a friendly woman that was delivering food. We told her it was our first time so she took her time to explain how everything worked. Checked us in for our reservation and gave us a buzzer. We walked around and checked out all the games but didn't get the game card because it's by the hour and they were already getting our bag ready. I ordered a margarita and a sampler for food. Bartender was so nice and explained the ordering and number situation. Margarita was perfect! We got our bay and host Luis. Luis was the absolute best. He showed us how to throw and explained the fun games. He really made our experience phenomenal. Luis had such great energy working with everyone it was contagious and we ended up being friends and cheering on the people throwing on the bay next to us that he was also working with. It was just a great time. Food was fried bar food but tasty. We would definitely return to try the games and escape room. Corky's was 10/10

Allen the Great was an excellent instructor/facilitator. Full of patience & personality he made for a wonderful first experience throwing axes. The space is wide open with fun in each corner whether you're indulging in food/libations, exploring the gaming area, smashing axes, watching ESPN or escaping a room there's something every one can enjoy. Outdoor seating option, sanitation stations, hooks for hanging your purse/jacket and plexiglass in place for a COVID safe environment. I can't wait to return as reigning champion! Reservations made easily online. ~CA

Ask the Community - Corky's Gaming Bistro

Do you have old school Galaga games?

We do have Galaga! We have about 42 games, 13 of which are pinball machines, and the rest are retro arcade games.

Family friendly or more of a date night spot?

Depends on the age of the kids. 13 and up maybe. Ypunger id just park them in the arcade

Do we need reservations for a friday?

For the escape rooms or ax throwing you will probably want to go online and make sure to reserve your time prior to going, but otherwise, it's a walk-in establishment for the food, drinks, and video games.

The escape room itself is a very healthy challenge. You get to go through multiple rooms searching for clues and piecing everything together to ultimately save Texas!! I really enjoyed the puzzles as did the others in my party. You also get a radio to talk to your Game Master for clues in case you get stuck. Again, Sarah was great in giving us helpful hints that didn't give the entire puzzle away. We completed the puzzle with 5min left on the clock. Very fun, healthy challenge, and a cool experience with friends. Would highly recommend an experience here! :) PROS: - very helpful and informative Game Masters - clues are helpful but do not give the puzzles away - the rooms are multi-layered and have plenty of challenging and fun puzzles - lots of open parking out front. However, we were unable to due to several circumstances. Both Samantha and Emily, two game masters working on this night at 8:40PM were confrontational, showed a lack of customer service, and the lowest form of professionalism, all while violating their own company policies. Due to traffic from the Sam Rayburn tollway, the group attending the escape room with me fell behind by 10 minutes. Upon entering we were told that the previous group had been waiting for nearly 15 minutes and had now entered the room. **Policy States** There is a 15 minute grace period before the game or booking is cancelled. However, from their explanations, the other patrons had already been allowed in the room for 10 minutes, verifying that no such grace period was given. It also meant that the group should have been informed of the 15 minute wait period and that at a minimum the game should have not started until 8:45. Our group also did not receive a courtesy call to check on our status. Instead we were told that we could only reschedule for a later date. The game masters were not only argumentative, but told us specifically "I have to go start a game," and left our group in the front in the least professional manner. I have attached a copy of the policy provided to us and will be escalating this incident to higher management for this location and any others associated with it. I am sorely disappointed in this particular room and I have completed several of these throughout the metroplex and outside of the state. I WILL NOT BE RECOMMENDING THIS LOCATION.

The 90 min pass is a good amount of time to feel like you've gotten your fill. We attempted every challenge at least once in that time! Labyrinth is part of a whole activity complex with axe-throwing, trampolines, and obstacle courses as well. You enter the Airborne Trampoline Park and ask for Labyrinth passes at the front desk. I liked that the rooms were a mix between physical and mental tasks, but definitely preferred the physically-focused ones. The mental puzzles were sometimes confusing because you walk in blind with no instructions or hints (you can ask for hints from the employees though). I will say, I saw the all-kids groups breeze through many of those rooms while adult groups (including mine) took many tries. Maybe the challenges just required a certain creativity to solve. I will say for germaphobes, it's a high-touch activity and you can see that wear and tear on the objects, so I'd bring hand sanitizer.

I do want to say the initial check in was good. I had a bag I should have taken home and they held it safe up front for me. Very appreciated. The rough... The location boasts "42" mini escape rooms, most are 2-4 connected rooms with a task to get to the next room. With one task to get through and no real objective or clues, it can be frustrating figuring it out. The rooms are broken or worn out. 4 initial rooms could not be entered, holding back access to 2-3 more rooms each. Anything that required touching showed its age with wear. Some rooms required crawling with worn out floors that hurt to crawl on. The place is connected to a trampoline park, we had random young kids running around Labyrinth area unsupervised. The potential.... We were able to get through 2 areas completely! The obstacle course to get through a volcano was fun! The Asylum area was great as well. But so many rooms we were just clueless as to the clues. I am not the world's best escape room person, but I've completed dozens. Hard tasks are good, nearly impossible to figure out tasks are rough, racially with broken down interactions. When this place was new, I bet it was great. For $60 total we were entertained for two hours well enough, but I can't really recommend this place with all the broken and worn down interactions. The place needs a revamp and it could be unique and great!
