Oof. Broken down mini escape rooms that are not regulated with the influx of kids coming from the trampoline park. I bet this was great in its heyday! But alas! No more. The good... I do want to say the initial check in was good. I had a bag I should have taken home and they held it safe up front for me. Very appreciated. The rough... The location boasts "42" mini escape rooms, most are 2-4 connected rooms with a task to get to the next room. With one task to get through and no real objective or clues, it can be frustrating figuring it out. The rooms are broken or worn out. 4 initial rooms could not be entered, holding back access to 2-3 more rooms each. Anything that required touching showed its age with wear. Some rooms required crawling with worn out floors that hurt to crawl on. The place is connected to a trampoline park, we had random young kids running around Labyrinth area unsupervised. The potential.... We were able to get through 2 areas completely! The obstacle course to get through a volcano was fun! The Asylum area was great as well. But so many rooms we were just clueless as to the clues. I am not the world's best escape room person, but I've completed dozens. Hard tasks are good, nearly impossible to figure out tasks are rough, racially with broken down interactions. When this place was new, I bet it was great. For $60 total we were entertained for two hours well enough, but I can't really recommend this place with all the broken and worn down interactions. We LOVE escape rooms so we thought we would give this a try, it's definitely not the same as a regular escape room. Here are a few things we ran into, the rooms are well worn, the physical rooms we were able to try definitely showed it in not the great way. The rooms you have to crawl thru the cushion and the ground are worn down to nothing which as an adult it makes for a rough time. Almost half of the rooms were down an since there isn't anyone working in the area so you couldn't see if they can fix it or not. Someone was smoking weed in one of the rooms. Who owns this place?!!! They really need an overhaul. Most of the rooms were broken (the puzzles didn't register or were broken, some rooms were locked, the bunker rooms pads were all torn off the floor, the leaves on the trees in the donut room were mostly missing). It would have been a lot more fun if you could make it through to the end but there were so many broken puzzles it's impossible!! Please speak to the owner and ask them to repair the rooms and when you do, you can email all of your past customers and let them know. I guarantee you'll get a flood of customers coming flooding in to play again!! read more

Walked in and since this is a building with 3 different types of games, we went all the way to the back where the labyrinth is and no one was there. So we came back to the jumping cashiers and finally got checked in. We walked back to the labyrinth and someone was about to explain everything and then said we needed wristbands. We walked back to the front to get that. Finally got the full explanation and they said they would be around for any questions. We started some games and were immediately puzzled. No direction anywhere. Tried locating someone for help; no one was around. Left after 20 mins and solved and gained nothing out of this experience. Before writing this review I did try to reach out afterwards to speak to a manager and no resolution and response. Please don't spend your money for this reality game. read more

This is a fun activity to do with a group of friends! You can get by with 3, but it's definitely easier with 4 or more. The 90 min pass is a good amount of time to feel like you've gotten your fill. We attempted every challenge at least once in that time! Labyrinth is part of a whole activity complex with axe-throwing, trampolines, and obstacle courses as well. You enter the Airborne Trampoline Park and ask for Labyrinth passes at the front desk. I liked that the rooms were a mix between physical and mental tasks, but definitely preferred the physically-focused ones. The mental puzzles were sometimes confusing because you walk in blind with no instructions or hints (you can ask for hints from the employees though). I will say, I saw the all-kids groups breeze through many of those rooms while adult groups (including mine) took many tries. Maybe the challenges just required a certain creativity to solve. I will say for germaphobes, it's a high-touch activity and you can see that wear and tear on the objects, so I'd bring hand sanitizer. read more

So many cool rooms and activities really BUT there little to no directions on how each room works and what you're trying to accomplish just a small clue at the beginning. Not to mention that if you lose in room 2 you have to get out and go all the way back to room one ! They say they have 42 rooms but not if you're on a date ! But date I mean you and one other person! I genuinely like this place, you definitely have to use your mind as well as your body to solve certain rooms. You can ask somebody that is on the staff for help, but I feel that it is easier to ask other people who are also trying to solve the rooms. People were really friendly and would invite us in the room so we could all figure it out together. Lastly, there probably was equal amount of adults to kids, so don't be afraid to go as an adult, but if you bring a kid I think it's 13 and older. (If you don't like to solve stuff or do any physical activities this isn't a place for you) you will break a sweat! read more

If you have participated in escape rooms before, then Labyrinth Reality Games is a little bit like going to 12ish separate escape room scenarios that each last about 10 minutes. However, unlike escape rooms, these scenarios do not have a gamemaster monitoring your game, and hence no one to help guide you through the scenario. When you enter the door for each scenario, the automatic loudspeakers simply say "players, ready...go" and you begin with no idea about the storyline or what you're supposed to do. Granted, similar situations happen in traditional escape rooms. However, if you've never been to an escape room before coming to Labyrinth, you would have no idea what you are doing or what you should be trying to look for. What's also annoying is that each scenario has 2, 3, 4, or 5 rooms, and each room is timed. If you fail in any of the rooms, you have to go all the way back to the beginning and repeat everything, which gets old very quickly. Some of the scenarios are quite physical, so bring a water bottle because if you have to repeat the scenarios over and over, you'll get tired and be out of breath. Two hours at Labyrinth is probably enough. I wouldn't recommend an all day pass and a one hour pass is most likely not enough to experience everything. Also, try to come in a group of 4 if you can, because some tasks are literally impossible without 3 or more people- particularly the Ninja Room and the Asylum Room. read more

Really not worth it. A bunch of the puzzles weren't working and those that were aggravated more than entertained. You have to have some physical agility for some so don't bother if you have any doubts about your ability on a jungle gym. Others were just too challenging for my kids to understand so their patience ran out pretty fast. Don't bring youngsters or old folks. They just won't enjoy it. read more

Horribly run location. The gaming concept is a good one. For this location, the execution is horrible and phoned in for a myriad of reasons. 1) it is joined together with a jump park (this is a big negative) -meaning the desk at the front is empty and no one is there monitoring the activities and if there are any issues. -it also means wild and unchaperoned kids from the jump park come in packs and run through this place screaming. -this leads to every time you and your own kids work hard to complete a puzzle those wild trampoline kids come and open the doors (which resets the game) and all of your work is ruined. 2) the lighting system: the packs of kids were opening doors because they did not understand the color lighting system above each door and what it means (solid green-ok to enter, flashing green-someone is in there, red-it's broken, flashing red-it is broken or resetting itself -it would make more sense if the colors were simple, I.e. green for go, yellow for wait, red for stop -or if needed to keep the current color combination (separating from the park so each child that enters gets a tutorial on what the colors mean), I asked and most, besides us, were given instruction on what the colors meant-they assumed green flashing meant to go in and kept resetting people's games This place would have a chance at succeeding if: 1) they separated from the trampoline park to better control the kids that entered 2) they changed the color system for the doors 3) they fixed more rooms so they work (most of the times they seemed broken because of the wild packs of kids opening doors in the middle of a game) read more

They need to create escape rooms that are functional and actually have a path to completion. Most of the rooms have absolutely zero clarity in regard to "escaping." This place is a combined Airborne trampoline, Golden axe throwing, and Labyrinth escape game. First when you come in, you have to sign a waiver on their tablets, then wait in line to check in. Trampoline was super crowded on Saturday, and there was no one doing axe throwing. Everything did look not sanitary and run down. Someone gave us instructions for Labyrinth. The signs on the door tell you the difficulty level, whether it's a physical or mental strength game, and how many players you need. Once you go into a room, it's just tells us to begin, and you have to figure out the instructions yourself. The hard part is you do not know the instructions because some rooms have missing items. We were only 2 people, and most games required 4 people. We did get with another group who were just as lost as us. After 15 minutes, we decided to ask for a refund to which they referred us to Groupon, and when we talked to Groupon, we were referred us back to the merchant. read more

A lot of things were not working. The machine that gave clue cards had none. Spent nearly $90 for three people for two hours. If the place had been in working order and we could have gotten clue cards it might have been worth it. Didn't stay two hours. Poor repairs made it not very fun. There are much better places in Grapevine and Southlake. Prices are similar and they are well run and well maintained. Don't waste your time or money at this place. The labyrinth was explained as an escape room on steroids and I love escape rooms. This is entering into a room with no direction and trying to guess what is supposed to happen. Guessing and getting a bong sound and a red light to let you know it's wrong. Pretty frustrating not having any idea what's going on. I think I lasted thirty minutes from pure annoyance. I will say they took the time to create so many rooms. There is no way to know what is happening or what to do first. If you go please have patience and let your expectations go. This place was so fun, even for adults! We did not venture into the axe throwing side (although we will soon), just around the escape rooms. If you are someone who doesn't like to lose or wants a lot of help to figure out the rooms, this is probably not the place for you. Basically the first time you're in each room, you'll get timed out as you try to figure out what the goal of the room is. Each themed room is actually 2-4 rooms with individual puzzles and each room has an unknown timer that starts when the door closes. You have an unknown amount of time to advance to the next room. We would regularly need at least 3-4 exposures to a room in order to grasp what we were supposed to get done. Secondly, you need at least three people to make a dent in most of the rooms, four would be ideal. Make it your next double date night! Each door has a list of how many people are needed for that room as well as the difficulty level, both in terms of mental and physical challenge. If you have any aches or pains that generally don't allow you to crawl or run around, I would highly recommend the mental challenge rooms first! Try the Viking or Pirate themed rooms first to get your feet wet, then move on to other ones. The big drawback to the rooms was sometimes the tech wasn't working correctly. Two rooms we tried to get done immediately timed out as soon as the door closed, obviously not working. We asked an attendant who said they would check on it as we moved to another room, but another group we went with told us it didn't get fixed that night. It was frustrating to figure out the puzzle in some rooms and then not get credit because the tech wasn't registering. read more

Went on a weekday with my significant other as a date. The price was high for the Labyrinth. A lot of the games/levels were broken. There was no one else in the place, so we did go through the levels many times, most of which we could not solve alone. We also did the axe throwing, which was also pricy compared to other locations providing the same activity. I'd choose this place again if there was a cheaper price for a combination of activities. I went to labyrinth today with my family, and was appalled. We purchase the tickets via Groupon, only to come and find out there's other stuff we had to do. And we were sent to the back of the line. When we finally were brought back a staff member gave us a brief description of what it was and left. But mainly she said not to touch anything?!The rooms had no hints or information. Every room was just a guessing game hoping to get it right. And since you are on a time limit, if you reach it you automatically have to leave the room and start again. Throughout the entire experience we didn't see a single staff member. Since it is connected to the trampoline park it is also very loud. While she said if we needed help we could ask, but when we went to ask she was no where to be found, if we had found her we would have bugged her at least 30 times within the 20 minutes we stayed. We were so frustrated with the service and the rooms in general. One room was an empty room with 4 fake donuts. That's it. No directions or anything. 4 choices for every single room, no clues or anything so everything was just random. And you had to try everything to hope you succeed. I've seen this place for many years, and finally decided to check it out. I was completely impressed by the variety of games that they have. It is necessarily want escape room, but more a network of many. This was very intriguing, especially since all of them didn't necessarily have to do with strength, or intelligence. Our family of three (2 adults & a 11-year old) had a blast. We only got the 2-hour pass. It wasn't busy when we went, so we could retry rooms quickly. We solved a few rooms completely, others just one or two sections. It was challenging and rewarding. We look forward to going again. I think we should have gotten the all-day pass for $10 more. Just be care not to hit your head in some rooms. Bring some water, otherwise you'll have to cross the building to get the water fountains. read more

This spot was dumb lit! They had a variety of rooms with different levels of difficulty and each room was actually very cleverly designed. I went with a group of college friends and we had a blast making it through most of the rooms. They have a great deal on Wednesday's that make the trip worth it! And HUGE shoutout to Justine & Matthew who were awesome! Justine helped give us vague hints when we were struggling without giving the answer so we still felt accomplished when we passed the last room & Matthew was SUPER friendly and helped us understand how our cards worked & how we could accrue points by completing all the rooms & how we could get prizes based on the points we got from completing the rooms. We absolutely loved the concept. We love escape rooms so that part was great. A couple of rooms not working. And the part that turned us off was that kids from the trampoline park part of the venue were running all around. A couple of times barging into the room we were in, being very loud, throwing balls all around and yelling throughout the hallways. I went here with 4 friends and we were really excited to go, but we were greatly disappointed. There were no directions for any of the games and only got like 30 seconds to a minute to figure out the entire room before we were kicked out. The rooms themselves were very confusing and nothing really made sense. We did not end up using the hour that we paid for. There was also a rude worker that was not working at the time I guess but she made it clear to us, multiple times, that she did in fact work there. It seemed like her and her boyfriend were following us and kept making comments about how easy the rooms were. When we were walking out, the girl and her boyfriend were in the ball pit underneath the balls doing God knows what, and my friend almost jumped on them, and then proceeded to not move.
