I genuinely like this place, you definitely have to use your mind as well as your body to solve certain rooms. You can ask somebody that is on the staff for help, but I feel that it is easier to ask other people who are also trying to solve the rooms. People were really friendly and would invite us in the room so we could all figure it out together. Lastly, there probably was equal amount of adults to kids, so don't be afraid to go as an adult, but if you bring a kid I think it's 13 and older. (If you don't like to solve stuff or do any physical activities this isn't a place for you) you will break a sweat!

Pros Puzzle Difficulty…read moreCleanliness Social Interaction Cons Customer Service Management Policy Enforcement I attempted to take on the last of four rooms at this location on 8/25/18 my birthday. However, we were unable to due to several circumstances. Both Samantha and Emily, two game masters working on this night at 8:40PM were confrontational, showed a lack of customer service, and the lowest form of professionalism, all while violating their own company policies. Due to traffic from the Sam Rayburn tollway, the group attending the escape room with me fell behind by 10 minutes. Upon entering we were told that the previous group had been waiting for nearly 15 minutes and had now entered the room. **Policy States** There is a 15 minute grace period before the game or booking is cancelled. However, from their explanations, the other patrons had already been allowed in the room for 10 minutes, verifying that no such grace period was given. It also meant that the group should have been informed of the 15 minute wait period and that at a minimum the game should have not started until 8:45. Our group also did not receive a courtesy call to check on our status. Instead we were told that we could only reschedule for a later date. The game masters were not only argumentative, but told us specifically "I have to go start a game," and left our group in the front in the least professional manner. I have attached a copy of the policy provided to us and will be escalating this incident to higher management for this location and any others associated with it. I am sorely disappointed in this particular room and I have completed several of these throughout the metroplex and outside of the state. I WILL NOT BE RECOMMENDING THIS LOCATION.

All this to say that the experience was good for all ages; we did the Code\ Back Slash room. We interacted, laughed, and were even frightened together J  Ashley was our girl that day, and she gave us clues and helped us to win with 20 sec to spare.   Last week, when I was tasked with setting up a group/ Team building outing with my coworkers, Escape Rooms HQ came to mind.  I sent an email on a Monday (they are closed on Mondays) and I received an unexpected response within 15 minutes.  Albert was so kind and allowed me to ask all of my questions. He even informed me that they had an event room on site. My group decided to have lunch brought in and we just paid a small fee to have use of their event room.   Once we arrived the staff and owners of ERHQ were ready to go. We were instructed to sign our waivers.  T-shirts were handed out and then the instructions were given. We had two groups.. so half did the Code\ Back Slash room and the other half did the Nuclear Shuttle. Both groups had a great time. The facility is clean and nice.  We ate in the conference room... we forgot to bring in drinks, and the staff saved the day and took care of us (Thank You). We didn't even have to clean up.   The staff will go above and beyond, and we were thrilled with the experience. I will continue to use Escape Rooms HQ and I will recommend them to anyone who is looking to have a memorable bonding experience.   The folks here are still talking about what they could have done differently yesterday to have escaped ;)

Father and son were at chess; the former, who possessed ideas about the game involving radical chances, putting his king into such sharp and unnecessary perils that it even provoked comment from the white-haired old lady knitting placidly by the fire. "Hark at the wind," said Mr. White, who, having seen a fatal mistake after it was too late, was amiably desirous of preventing his son from seeing it. "I'm listening," said the latter grimly surveying the board as he stretched out his hand. "Check." "I should hardly think that he's come tonight, " said his father, with his hand poised over the board. "Mate," replied the son.

We had the corporate espionage room which was very basic. The decor was absolutely uninteresting and there were very few puzzles. Most of it was password related on a computer which felt a little like it was something I could have done at home. The staff was lovely but very young. Like the both could have been 16. The facility is bland as you'd expect. It's just a small corporate office space. Given our experiences between this one and the other, I think we would prefer Escape HQ. The game masters were fantastic--friendly, helpful, and perfectly balanced between letting us enjoy the challenge and keeping the experience moving. From the moment we arrived, our entire group was treated with exceptional courtesy and professionalism. Coordinating an event for 30 people can be difficult, but The Grapevine Escape handled it seamlessly. Everyone had an amazing time, and people were still talking about their rooms afterward. If you're looking for a fun adventure, whether for a date night, family outing, or large group event, I cannot recommend The Grapevine Escape highly enough. They absolutely commit to the bit and make it feel like you're on a real game show. That energy is everything, and they nailed it. The whole concept only works if they sell it and they 100% delivered. The session ran right at an hour, which felt perfect. No dragging, no awkward downtime just a clean, high-energy experience start to finish. Only heads up: drink options are pretty limited, and definitely grab everything you want before going into the game room. They say you can step out, but once things get going, there's really no natural break to do that. Overall, easy 5/5. Would absolutely do this again especially for group events. They have a few different "scenarios" to experience.
