We had a wonderful time in the Stranger Things themed room! Our group was 4 adults with the difficulty level at 25%, and we got out with 10 minutes left but still felt challenged by the puzzles! You have to problem solve and think creatively, but everything makes sense and flows together smoothly. I appreciated the decorations and nods to the show, but you will still have fun if you've never seen it. Overall, I've been in escape rooms with more immersive decorations and crazier techno-wizardry, but the heart of this room--the puzzles and problem-solving-- makes it just as fun if not more fun than those rooms! read more

Thank you to the other yelpers. If it wasn't for them sharing that the 11th Hour Escape had a Stranger Things theme we may have not given the place a 2nd look, thankfully we did. We had took a few of our nieces and tried it out mid day on the 4th of July. Like others have pointed out, the outside is part of an office complex and is not impressive but you shouldn't judge it by the outside. The lobby as well is bare and not impressive, but is that what you're really there for? As may be obvious we tried out the Stranger Things theme. You do not have to be a lover of Stranger Things to enjoy the room. My nieces had not scene it and were still enthralled. Really great puzzles, far more unique than other escape rooms we've tried. However, if you are a fan of the show, definitely go and try it out. It's a fantastic experience and our escape room artist (staff) did a great job giving relevant clues and responding when needed. They also have a Fall Out themed room and our son would love to try that. May keep an eye out for a special and take another full group out there. read more

I don't like the 4 person minimum when there's no reason for it. It's a money grab, and I think it deters groups of 2 people from booking. Bad business model. And ended up costing me $60 each for 2 people. This room was barely worth $20pp. Besides that, the room itself might be fun for Stranger Things fans, but if you're a real escape room fan, you can skip this. There are much better escape rooms in DFW. I'm also skeptical of a room that can alter the difficulty, my guess is they gIve fewer or more hint cards depending on whether you choose 10%, 25% or 50%. There's a reason this one never shows up on recommended ERs in DFW... read more

This was my first experience at an Escape Room and it didn't disappoint. I went with some coworkers for some team building. We chose one of the rooms with a 50% success rate. We were able to get an extra hint just for checking in on Yelp and we needed all the hints we could get...lol. We didn't end up solving it, the guy told us we were about 30 mins away, but now that I understand the concept I would definitely go back to do another one. read more

My husband and I are not only escape room enthusiasts, but also Stranger Things enthusiasts, so we took a group of friends here to escape fro The Upside Down. Very engaging room. If you are a fan of the show, this is a must do experience. Owner was very nice. Highly recommend supporting this individually owned business. Puzzles were challenging, but do-able. Great fun. Well designed puzzle. Allows a large group of people to work simultaneously on different clothes. Lots of variety and ingenuity in the puzzle. Very nice staff too. Possibly the best escape room that that we have experienced out of approximately 10 or so experiences. read more

A GREAT EXPERIENCE! The room was very well put together and made for a great experience. Our group of 10 did it on hard and did not survive. The puzzles were nice and challenging, but definitely beatable. We all had a blast. Compared to the room (zombie) that I did in the past, this one felt more professionally put together. The room setup, props, and furniture fit the theme perfectly and nothing was broken. Additionally, it was nice and challenging and it didn't feel like the staff was trying to constantly feed us hints and clues, we were left to figure things out on our own, which I liked. The business owners, also have their other businesses here and were extremely nice and explained the rules of the room perfectly. The business location was a bit hidden and hard to find, but it fit right with the room escape theme. Hopefully they continue to create more rooms as I thoroughly enjoyed the puzzles that were put together here. read more

Finished the 11th hour escape in Plano, Texas last weekend. We escaped! Hooray! Loved the challenge, our group had a blast. I recommend at least 4 people in a group. Very fun. To solve the room, it takes cooperation, some smarts, and desire to escape. Escape rooms have a theme.....escape rooms have clues....escape rooms have puzzles....all escape rooms need to be solved to escape.....or not? Yikes! The 11th Hour escape room has it all.....excitement, challenge, theme....I loved the theme of this room "end of the world" scenario! Teamwork, wits, problem solving! Came with a competitive group of friends and none of us have done an escape room so naturally we went with Medium. We were SO close to escaping! Great introduction with simple guidelines by Bruce and Darcy at the beginning. Ridiculously fun and entertaining. We were still analyzing for hours after we left. Challenging yet satisfying even though we didn't make it out within the hour. Definitely for those who enjoy puzzles, brain teasers, and just straight up fun. This was our first time trying an escape room and we did it with 6 of us (2 adults, two 14 year olds, two 12 year olds). We had a really fun time. We loved it and are excited to try more escape rooms. We did the beginner level which was just right for us. Everyone participated and there are all kinds of skills needed to escape. Booked mid week on a slow night so it was just my group of 5 and we finished with 12 minutes to spare!(medium level) Challenging without being frustrating. I've been to several escape rooms and this was not one of the better ones. The room was ok and we liked that it was pretty tied to Stranger Things, but there were some disappointing factors. This was clearly created on a low budget. The hints that were provided were not very helpful and there was no ability to confirm codes. There was also no timer to indicate how much time was left for the group. For the price, I would not recommend this escape room. read more

Bruce and Darcy are great and gave good clues when requested to get us back on track without revealing too much. I would highly recommend this as a fun group outing. The themed rooms are really cool, and some of the operations and hints the game operator supplied from outside of the room was a neat addition. Of all the Escape rooms I've done, these Game Masters were the friendliest, most helpful, genuinely nice people. They've experienced other escape rooms themselves and seem to be big fans of the medium. The game is difficult, but they offer three different difficulty levels. This is the first I've seen with this option. Again, be forewarned, it's hard. However, it's extremely carefully put together and most of all FUN! Your first challenge begins locating the place. This was my first escape room. There were ten of us completing it on hard and we didn't survive, but we all had a blast. The theme of the room was great and well organized.
