Reviews With Photos - Bubble Planet

Bubble planet is one of those emersion places that can be good for photo ops; leaning a little more to the photo op side of it. Make sure to bring socks if you want to be able to do one of the rooms; as it's required when you go into the ball pit. We spent only about 50 minutes or so there; luckily during a non-busy time on a Wednesday after school. A good 15-20 of that was my kid playing around in the giant ball pit. I kinda feel if it was only myself and adult age friends we would have gone through it a bit quicker. I heard someone say prices at the door are higher than online; but online, the ticketing system they use tacked on $6 worth of fees. It was neat but Meow Wolf does a much better job than Bubble Planet does for immersion. There was only one room with actual bubbles, the rest are bubble like items ... balloons, balls, or digital bubbles on an interactive floor. Plus at the end a couple of their photo ops were unavailable and two hands on things connected to TVs were out of order. Which is surprising with how new this place is. We only interacted with staff 3 times, check in was friendly & helpful... as well as the employee giving the rules/suggestions and monitoring the ball pit area. There was an employee in a VIP area that was kind of short with the family just in front of us with how bluntly she put "You pay extra for this". Just from walking by, it looks like an area to hang out... so I would possibly skip VIP unless line skip is important to you. My kid had a blast, so I'm glad we went the once ... but I doubt I would be willing to pay the current pricing to go back through again; especially with the other things that this mall has to offer.

It was okay. The lighting is horrible for photo opps. If anything it was helpful to have the kids burn off extra energy. It was encouraging to see the place full on a Monday holiday. It was also frustrating with the mass entry at the same time. I thought the timed entry for presale would have been more convenient. I will forever have an issue when the equipment does not work. There were some interactive stations in the selfie room that were not on. The bubble machine room only have a few working. The photo purchase did not come with a digital copy because "it wasn't working". It is fair to let the consumer know what is not available prior to purchase and entry.

This experience was perfect it was kinda disappointing when we had to pay more money for one thing in it (VR stuff) overall it was very nice to get out of the house with my family super fun had lots of fun taking pictures we even got a gift bag at the end.

Super fun experience for the kids and even for us adults. Everything seemed clean. I wish that so many of the balloons weren't popped in several areas. They also had one of the photo prop areas closed down and the actual bubble machines at the end weren't working well with only two of the six or seven working. If those things were fixed I would definitely give it a five.

This was such an experience. This is family friendly adventure. There are so many beautiful rooms. Our youth and adults enjoyed this place.

The early afternoon slot was not busy and no long wait in line. I would recommend taking time to enjoy each exhibit.

the ball pit was pretty neat and the first room was cool but as other reviews state the flow is not there and is underwhelming considering price.

Not knowing the area, I booked the Hyatt Place Grapevine because it was located near DFW and had plenty of places within walking distance. The hotel rooms are exactly what you would expect from a Hyatt Place: clean, comfortable, and well designed for a short stay. The staff are also very friendly and welcoming, which made an already stressful travel day much easier. I also appreciated that the hotel offers a complimentary airport shuttle, although it is worth noting that service ends at 11:00 p.m. The gym is great, the little market is convenient, and for a one-night stay, it met all of my needs. Having restaurants and shopping nearby was an added bonus and made it easy to relax without needing a rental car. If I ever find myself needing to stay near DFW again, I would not hesitate to book this hotel.

No welcome as a World of Hyatt member - but the Hyatt awards program is so weak now it's not worth worrrying about (they don't even give you a bottle of water). Used to love the cookies and sandwiches at Hyatt Place but no food available other than the very meh breakfast. Room needed some attention (paint, refinishing of furniture, etc). It looked well worn. The Hyatt Place chain seems to be a forgotten brand by Hyatt. They used to be nice. My room was almost $200/night. Not worth it at that price.

This sprawling estate is able to accommodate lots of guests (vehicles included) for all different types of functions. Everything about the property is ostentatiously southern, which might seem kitschy to non Texans, but for locals it just feels comfortable and familiar. Since I was there for a banquet, the first thing I have to talk about is the food. It seemed only appropriate that barbecue was on the menu with things like brisket, smoked sausage and baked beans, all served buffet style. While it was respectable enough, the quality was closer to Dickey's or Spring Creek than more authentic Texas barbecue. I thought the bread pudding they had for dessert was a good choice since I don't see that very often, plus it was very tasty. This place also has several built in bars because at social events people need their adult libations! There were only a handful of options available, but frozen margaritas was one of them, so that totally made up for the small selection. In addition to special events and private parties they also host market days open to the public. For that they have local vendors selling their goods along with other family friendly activities, such as pony rides, a petting zoo and rodeo. Although I haven't been before, I'm inspired to go now after seeing how well they handled the event that we did attend.

It was a little cold there, so I did not go outside to the patio area. However it was very spacious. There was also a star with a live band and plenty of dancing space. There was also a basketball court available, as well as what appeared to be a campfire area. It is sufficient space for big events. The bathrooms were also clean, which is a plus. While I don't know the logistics of booming, as it was a corporate event, everything was well organized.

I met with David in July 2024, and even though my wedding wasn't until April 2026, he made himself incredibly available throughout that entire time. Whether it was meeting in person, texting, or chatting over the phone, David was always there to answer the many questions that arose during our extensive wedding planning. He was so easy to work with, exceptionally thorough with information, and even provided great suggestions along the way. Additionally, Irene's Bakery--the bakery the venue partners with--was fantastic! The cake was delicious and delivered right on time. We also worked with DJ Ivan, who did an amazing job! He executed our timeline perfectly and played exactly the songs I had requested. On the day of the wedding, our reception went incredibly smoothly. The room was set up exactly according to the floor plan we had discussed. There was plenty of staff on hand, ensuring that both the head table and every guest table were well taken care of. Everyone was attentive and brought a wonderful, positive energy to the evening. As both the bride and the planner of my own wedding, I intentionally tried to keep things relatively simple--and even so, everything turned out absolutely beautifully. I didn't have to stress or worry about a single thing on our big day. I highly recommend Royal Affairs Ballroom for a wedding or any other milestone event. We've had 2 weddings at this location and David and his staff were beyond stellar. From our first meetings, until the night of the event, David and the staff stayed in contact with us. We really never had to worry about anything. If we asked David for something special - example, daughter loves Dr. Pepper - it was there. I wish I had taken a picture of the Dr. Pepper bottles on the bar. Still makes me smile when I think about it. Our last wedding was on December 14, 2024. I was nervous about this time frame due to private parties and other weddings. With this date, and other special events happening at Royal Affairs, I was concerned with setup time as I, mother of the bride, was the setup team. David worked with the schedule of other parties, as well as our availability, and made it possible for us to setup before the wedding rehearsal. We got the much-needed rehearsal, and my daughter got a first look at the decorated venue. She was very VERY happy. The day of the event, everything was perfect when we walked in. We were able to get into the Ballroom early for dressing, pictures, etc. Timing was never an issue as, we spoke with David beforehand and he made everything come together for us. Both of our weddings were beyond special and we have David and the Royal Affairs Ballroom to thank. I HIGHLY recommend them. Thank you, David and Royal Affairs. Both of my kids had beautiful wedding and we can honestly say, you had a hand in this
