Looking at the entrance, you really wouldn't expect the facility to be as big as it is. It is a whole world inside! Especially with the hot summer days upon us, this is a fantastic indoor option for families to beat the heat. Immersive Play: The different themes, characters, and interactive activities make this an absolute paradise for kids. Everything is perfectly child-sized, and there are great photo ops available throughout the entire facility. Comfort for Parents: There are plenty of seats for adults to sit and relax while the kids play. Cleanliness: I loved that the surfaces and equipment look like they can be easily wiped down and disinfected. Staff Visibility: The one strange thing was that I didn't see any workers out on the play floor. For safety reasons, it feels like they really need more eyes on the floor to monitor things. Party Pricing: They host birthday parties here, but at around $25 per person, it feels quite expensive in my opinion. Overall, it's a lovely, engaging facility that the kids will absolutely love. We had a great time exploring!

Place is a trainwreck. I've been here before on less busier days. However, management has decided…read moreto allow teenagers into the play area and they dominate the space. Half of the installations do not work, electronics are not working, broken pieces, very run down and not maintained. For $24 for a child 8 & under, and $12 for 9+ - there is NO value. When you book a timeslot, it's for two hours of playtime, but I can tell you that people are overstaying their window. Then you're basically gaslit into buying a picture with Peppa Pig by the staff with their high pressure sales techniques and they exploit the children's feelings against your better judgment, which makes you pay their astronomical fee for a sub quality photo That's not even clear. Restrooms are filthy - there aren't enough wipes on the planet to be able to counteract the deplorable conditions that we experienced. It's very understaffed they only have two employees working the front desk and the line is out the door, not once did I see an employee inside the play area. My son definitely did not have a good time as he did the last time, and I know it's the parents responsibility to control their children and manage them, but that's part of the problem also.

Wesley Playground at White’s Chapel - Playground hours

Two months ago I was living 1500 miles away where "free indoor playground" was a string of words so delicious, so fantasmic, that my heart skipped a beat the first time I heard them uttered. But with five rambunctious kids and some rain, I've spent a good amount of time exploring the indoor playground scene here in the dfw. One's bound to make comparisons. Beyond the simple fact that it's free, the pros to this play area are: 1. Good hours (open every day, I think!) 2. Small area for babies 3. Large structure for older kids 4. Glassed in play structure 5. Cafe with inexpensive drinks 6. Plenty of seating 7. Free WiFi Not all the church indoor playgrounds are open everyday or for as long as Wesley Playground, but most do hit the other points on the list. The primary reason this is my least favorite indoor playground is the OVERWHELMING smell of potpourri in the play area. The whole church smells like an air wick, but I think they must pump it in on high through the heater vents in the play area and bathrooms. It's nauseating. Frankly, between the smell, the hard plastic chairs and cafeteria tables, the place screams "retirement home". I wasn't surprised to see a few wheelchairs in the corner by the front entrance. I'm still immensely grateful that the church has created a space like this and offered free access to the public, but unless they take that smell down a notch I don't think we will be back.

I met some friends here to let our kids play. It's free, air conditioned, and a decent size…read more There's a little cafe just outside the play area that sells relatively inexpensive snacks and drinks. The only thing I don't love is that they're pretty strict on their no food/drink policy, which includes water, so kids are constantly in and out to grab a drink of water.

The facility is very spacious, which made a huge difference because the kids had plenty of room to move around, play freely, and enjoy themselves without things feeling overcrowded. The entire environment was energetic, exciting, and designed perfectly for children of different ages to stay entertained the whole time. The interactive games and play areas were definitely the highlight. There were so many engaging activities that kept the kids constantly active and involved instead of getting bored after a short time. Everything was colorful, fun, and hands-on, creating an atmosphere that immediately grabs kids' attention the moment they walk in. It's the kind of place where children can burn off energy while parents can still relax and enjoy the party experience. Another thing that stood out was how well the play packages are set up. They offer different options that make it convenient depending on the size of the party and what kind of experience you want. The packages help make the process easier and more organized for parents planning events, while still giving kids a memorable experience packed with entertainment and activities. The overall environment felt welcoming, family-friendly, and well maintained. Staff members helped keep things running smoothly, and the layout of the facility made it easy to move between party areas and play sections. You can tell this place is built around creating a fun and interactive experience for families and children. If you are looking for a place to host a birthday party or simply want a fun indoor spot for kids to play and stay engaged, Kid Mania on Teems Ridge Parkway is definitely worth checking out. The spacious setup, interactive attractions, exciting atmosphere, and variety of play packages make it a great choice for families wanting a stress-free and enjoyable experience for their kids.

First of all this place is a bit hidden. Second, it smelled clean and fresh in certain areas and in…read moreother areas it smelled like musty ass and rotten cheese. My 11 year old enjoyed it for the first 30 minutes and then called it quits. Staff was friendly when checking in. Saw tables being cleaned regularly which was nice. The arcade area is small downstairs but they do have other options upstairs for older kids. Bathrooms were clean which is a huge plus. The price is reasonable if you are not wanting to break the bank. Only issue which was not directly related to the business itself was the amount of unsupervised kids running around spilling sugar water and sugar packets everywhere in the course. I wish parents would at least eye ball their kids once in a while and make sure they are not in designated areas they are not allowed in.

The staff of this hotel are great. Everyone I came into contact with were kind and helpful. Chante at the front desk is a literal angel. She was so sweet and kind. Treated us with such kindness upon check in and the entire time we were there. Cut to Friday (we checked in Tuesday afternoon), and I got a call from the general Manager, Aaron Oquendo (found your last name Aaron, you weren't getting off that easy). My dogs, who have been abruptly moved from their home with a yard and 2400 sq ft of space to a 400 sq ft space on the 3rd floor) barked when I would leave to take my kids to school and pick them up (20 minutes away). He proceeded to berate me on the phone, called it a "major situation" because a couple of guests complained (rightfully so) and told me I was "costing the hotel money" and told me we had to leave. Which, funny enough, we had TWO ROOMS booked for TWO WEEKS, so who cost who money? Anyway, after he informed me we were being kicked out he proceeded to lecture me and compare my situation to his flood situation from 2020 and he got bark collars and his dogs "never barked." It was the most unprofessional and rude conversation I've ever had in my life. I explained to him the situation and he couldn't have cared less. I completely understand that dogs barking can be very annoying. I work from home so I was there all day, and all night, and they did not bark consistently. Any time they did bark it was addressed immediately. He tried to argue with me that they barked during the day, to which I had to reiterate I worked from home and I was in the room with them all day, expect to get my kids. I ended up hanging up on him because he was so rude to me. When I saw him in the lobby and confronted him he was still evasive and dismissive. I asked for his last name and he said "we don't give out that information." Funny, because there were 4 business cards readily available for the Asst GM and 3 others, but yeah they don't give out that info. Got it. He told me "offered for me to stay" but no, he didn't. He said this to save face from the other guests in the lobby. Chante called me to smooth things over and said they didn't want me to leave, we just had to come to a solution which I was happy to do, however, there was zero chance I was staying somewhere where the General Manager treats the guests so poorly. I didn't feel comfortable staying there anymore. There were about 1000 different ways he could have approached the situation but he chose the worst possible way. We checked out that same afternoon and were forced to go back to our house that's unlivable until we found alternative accommodations (forcing us to move for the 3rd time in 5 days). I work in customer service for a living and I would never EVER speak to someone the way he spoke to me. Especially knowing the traumatic situation they were in. He shouldn't be in the position that he's in if this is the way he treats people. The moment I saw him that first day I felt in my gut he was an icky person, and turns out my gut instinct was right. He made me feel so small and humiliated. Aaron, a little grace, kindness and empathy go a long way. I would have gladly worked with you to find a way to help because I understand that other guests were unhappy. I don't let my dogs bark at my own home because it's annoying, so I can appreciate that the other guests were annoyed. The ONLY reason I would recommend this hotel is for Chante because she was an earth angel and truly cared about the experience and had empathy towards myself and my family. Give that woman a raise.
