First of all this place is a bit hidden. Second, it smelled clean and fresh in certain areas and in other areas it smelled like musty ass and rotten cheese. My 11 year old enjoyed it for the first 30 minutes and then called it quits. Staff was friendly when checking in. Saw tables being cleaned regularly which was nice. The arcade area is small downstairs but they do have other options upstairs for older kids. Bathrooms were clean which is a huge plus. The price is reasonable if you are not wanting to break the bank. Only issue which was not directly related to the business itself was the amount of unsupervised kids running around spilling sugar water and sugar packets everywhere in the course. I wish parents would at least eye ball their kids once in a while and make sure they are not in designated areas they are not allowed in. read more

Brought my 4 year old grandson to this location and let me tell you, every single kid of all ages was having a blast! He's a little quiet and shy but he played for a hard 2 hours in the jungle maze and l loved every single second of watching him as he did playing in it. Figuring pathways and jumping, hopping, he conked out quick on the way home. Two other bright spots, the ladies working concessions jumped straight up in getting him a cup of water when they heard him coughing from running around being over heated so thank you to them. as we walked out they do have someone there to check the stamps on your arms to match up which was great. We went here because of a pogo pass we purchased and are doing our damndest to take advantage of. We are not typical indoor playground people, mostly preferring the free and outdoor city park options. I thought this was an excellent choice for a billion degree afternoon when forcing my kids to play outside felt like it crossed a line into questionable parenting. It's basically a big McDonalds play place (like 10x the size) they can run around in for as long as they want. No time limit. Shoes off, socks required. On a Tuesday evening in the summer it was not crowded at all. I do have to tell you that my kids have renamed this place "poopmania" because they discovered not one but TWO separate poops on the play equipment in our two hour time span there. To their credit, the Kid Mania staff was prompt and thorough in their cleanup/sanitizing process, but the experience was still a little unsettling. How exactly does this occur with such frequency? Regardless, I don't blame "poopmania" for this experience, and we will for sure be back to use our second pogo pass and let the kids get some energy out on a hot or rainy day in the future. read more

Talk about an absolute fun place to take the kids. Was in town for a family event and decided to take the kids and cousins here for a fun day. A coworker told me it's a great place to let the kids unwind at a really great price and boy was she so right! Wanted to take my two toddlers to a new play area and was very happy to learn of this new place. Their calendar online shows 1/2 off admission on certain days for certain things. Thursdays are "wear a super hero or princess shirt" day. Easily accomplished!! Upon entering the facility you must get your hand stamped with your children as a safety precaution, which I appreciate. So when you leave, your numbers match up, hopefully...ha! There is an arcade area upstairs and some arcade games downstairs as well. There was also a parent quiet area upstairs where you can see everything but are in a more peaceful zone. My kiddos loved the play area and the arcades. I was worried the gym/play area would be too intimidating for my 2 year old but he had a blast and conquered the whole area! The only part I didn't care for was the toddler area was dirty, some kiddo took a bag of potato chips in there and went to town. The mess was still there after 3 hours, also none of the tables on the floor were clean either. My 1 year old's foot kept falling through the weave in the play area, should be smaller floor weaving in the toddler area in my opinion. Katy was the host to our party, was very quiet, until she came in after with attitude to tell us silly string wasn't allowed and we had no idea, we all offered to vacuum or sweep whatever needed for them, and she left bringing back Candace and another guy back into clean it... Candace was extremely rude, wore a mask except when time to say something snarky back. Yep, this is a keeper! 3 walls of climbing, sliding, jumping and navigating is a win for my 4 year old. Kid Mania is great stop for indoor play, I appreciate the parent pricing of $1 since most of us are literally parked in the middle seats watching, waiting, eating popcorn from the concession stand. Kid Mania has arcade games when it's time to cool down, Games range from .50 to $2 from what I noticed so money does go quick for 30 seconds of entertainment. There is single entry and exit point which is great when you have dozens of kids running around and a quiet room upstairs if your kiddos age allows you to break away from the ground floor because it is LOUD. Not a place for conversation or you'll be screaming at each other the whole time as it is kid and not parent centric. Overall very fun for little kids, plenty of food/ drink options and private rooms for parties. For a 4 year old it's a good stop for 2-3 hours with game play included. Wanted to give an update to how impressed I've been with their standards when it comes to covid. Temperature checks of kids and parents coming in, they go over the rules with you at the door and give you a sheet of paper with their guidelines in more detail. They have been recommending masks but tomorrow they will be required per Tarrant county regulations. Some tables have been marked off to help with social distancing with adults sitting and observing. As well as reduced capacity, so it was far less crowded and from what I can tell kids are playing better together because parents are being better about observing their kids behavior. As well they are better enforcing their sock rule from before. As a bonus staff has been walking around checking in on how guests are doing. They did stamped wristbands vs stamps on hands which helps from person to person contact of that item. Good job kid mania for giving kids a place to come play in as safe as an environment as possible right now. read more

It was very nice! I took my three-year old brother there and he had a great time. I loved how nice the employees were, I felt like I could actually trust the place. He fell asleep as soon as he sat in the car seat. I had a great time too, I did not feel stressed or anything and the price was PRETTY GOOD. (Btw it was very clean) I loved how some parents were just relaxing or laying down and even working from their computers while their kids were having fun. I wouldn't say the kids were unsupervised since they are kids and it is okay for them to be messy and a little bit crazy since they are excited and having fun, I was just happy to see my brother have fun and enjoy. although I was a little bit scared about the stairs since they are a little bit slippery but overall I had an amazing experience. This is a great place to take your kids to get in some fun, physical activity especially when the weather is scorching! It is incredibly cheap! A similar play place I went to was more than twice as much for one toddler and had a 2 hour time limit! First, I love the security. You and your child receive an invisible stamp on your arm that can only be seen with a special light. On the way out you have to have matching numbers to exit. No one can just walk out of the building either, the doors are alarmed. The play area is HUGE! The slides go up so high and kids could spend hours here. There is a giant seating area in the middle for eating or watching your kids. There are also games and small rides. There's a cafe selling drinks and snacks. My only complaint or suggestion for improvement would be for them to have a larger area for toddlers under 4 years old. The 3 and under area is small and limited, meant to be used for babies to 3 year olds, but a 2-3 year old could use way more space. The other huge area is for ages 4 to adult and spans nearly the entire building. The entrance signs were right next to each other and somehow I thought the 3 and under area was connected. My tiny almost 3 year old found his way into the 4 and up area and just kept going...all the way to the other side. This is okay if you're okay with it and if your kid has those physical abilities. Mine obviously figured out this adventure but I still didn't like it because he's so small for his age. Boy did he have a fit when I finally got him down and took him to the "baby" area! So just beware of that. He had an okay time in the baby area once he settled down but there were only like 2 things to do. I'll have to wait another year before coming back to this one. read more

We have visited Kid Mania previously for play, but this review is in regards to a birthday party planned on the 22nd of February, 2020. I decided to book Kid Mania for my daughter's 5th birthday party after asking her where she wanted it to be held. Booking was rather simple on their website, but key information was difficult to find until I clicked "submit". Once the payment was processed, I got a pop-up stating several things, including the fact that they do not allow outside food for parties...okay I guess. I immediately called the location to confirm that they received my reservation and spoke to a very unprofessional staff member who could barely answer my questions about silverware, etc. I started feeling nervous about the entire thing and almost canceled my reservation entirely. Against my better judgment, I kept the reservation. About a week before the event, I spoke to a very nice woman who reassured me that everything would be taken care of and gave me some helpful tips. On the day of the event, we walk in and the place is chaotic, to say the least. I think it was at capacity, which was odd because all of the party rooms were booked...so this seemed greedy, to say the least. I knew to walk in through the group entrance, but my guests had no idea where to go because there was no one is in the group line. I was "stamped" and told a lot of "um, yeah"'s while attempting to get my cupcakes, gifts, and decor to the room. Three women were standing near the carts for the parties, and only one of them was helpful, I believe her name was Jennifer. Jennifer led me back to a room and allowed me to set up my decorations. At this point it was chaotic, at least four other parties going on, and the rooms are small, maybe 10 x 10 and separated by a felt wall. We had an assistant, Courtney, help with all the things and she was pretty good but I wish a bit more initiative was taken. When paying more than $100 for this event, I expected her to be a bit more upbeat, and to take charge of things or at the very least to ask. At our event time, I waited for an announcement for everyone to join the party but that never came, and I had to ask. The party went OK, but then in all of the commotion a 15-month-old wandered off and in the chaos, we couldn't find him for at least 5 minutes. Some things that are clear to me: -The stamping of the hands is security theater. From what I saw, everyone in the building gets the same stamp, so technically if another parent wanted to take your kid, they wouldn't be stopped. -Parties do not get preference and there is nearly no attention to detail. -This place is unorganized and quickly getting trashed even though they just opened. -The child limit is ridiculous. 6 kids for a party then you pay extra? Not worth it. We will not be throwing parties here in the future, nor will we play here. read more

A great place to bring kids. Admission is pretty cheap. There is a large play area with a variety of obstacles. They have a couple of rides on the first floor and the second floor is an arcade area. Rides and games take game cards that can be purchased on either floors. You can exchange tickets for prizes as well. They also have a concession area and the food prices aren't that bad. Remember to bring socks as you will have to take your shoes off in the play area. They have a stamp security system and they check you entering and exiting the place. If you want to have a party here, they have several rooms where you can rent out for parties. They also have an "adult room" where kids aren't allowed in for peace and quiet. read more

The arcade uses cards instead of tokens and the cards even keep up with how many tickets you win, so you don't have to waste all that paper. There is an adult only room that has massage chairs and a TV. Everything seems to run really smoothly and the kids enjoy their time. I went at opening time on a Friday and it wasn't too packed. UPDATE:ordered my daughters food and it was so burnt. I felt like a horrible mom. They weren't eating and I told them if they didn't eat we were leaving. I finally agreed they could be done and bit my daughters hamburger and it was ROCK HARD, my gum started bleeding. Today was the deciding factor of us NOT HAVING either of my daughters parties here I will start this off with...my point of view is coming from a indoor play center general manager perspective. I walked in with my children and was not greeted, but rather told "$16.22" now that from the beginning was a huge issue for me. We had never been here before so a basic example of a greeting would be..."hi guys welcome to kid mania have you played here before?" If yes "great welcome back today's visit will be $16.22" if no "welcome a few fun facts about kid mania are 1)we do require socks to play in the play structure 2) we have arcade games which can be played by purchasing a play card 3)we have a cafe in the back to satisfy hungry tummy's today's visit will be $16.22" If you are going to require socks make sure kids are wearing them. I've seen about 10 kids climbing up the slides without socks on. The carpet upstairs needs a good vacuuming. The stairs leading upstairs need to be cleaned. The play structure is very well maintained as far as zip ties in the proper places for the cargo netting. The black netting on the sides of the structure need more large blue zip ties in a bunch of places. Near the back where the cafe is, those boxes on the counter need to go!! Hide them somewhere!! There was a little one who got a horrible bloody nose and not one employee seemed to care. I had to walk up to the employee and tell her something. Blood needs to be cleaned up immediately around little children!! There needs to be a procedure set in place for that type of situation. Parents are not watching their kids and staff don't care. Kids are pushing others and making each other cry. The snack cafe is clean and the staff there was very nice and had great customer service. She actually made me change from 2 stars to 3 stars. I love the exit!! I wish my facility had that door and loud alarm. I always have to have a staff at my door to check stamps. Admission is very reasonable! $5 less than read more

What a fun place for a family. I have a 2 1/2 y/o and he had a blast climbing in and over everything! And so did myself and my husband! We came on a Monday night so only a handful of people were there. It only cost us $6 to get in. We will definitely be back! One thing I do hope is that someone is getting inside the play area EVERY NIGHT TO CLEAN! A lot of screaming kids having fun isn't my idea of fun, but of course Kid Mania is just as it's name implies, mania for kids! Here not by choice, but due to a birthday party. Although this is a very new facility it is already being put to good use for kids energy release and of course birthday parties. So to wrap up, great from a kids point of view, not so much for us with a lower tolerance for a high level of noise, children screaming and video game madness (of course they have games and you can get tickets for prizes, e.g. a lot of tickets required for a little prize from China.
