This place is so awesome! It's the original arcade/gaming place with a twist!! I like that they have all-you-can play for $15 plus they have token games to win tickets. We brought our teenagers there and they had a blast. No alcohol is served, so the kids can stay until they close. The ticketed games also pay out well. The best thing about this place vs the other video game places is.......if you don't play, you don't have to pay. This is not true for other gaming places. It's nice to bring your kids and let them play and the parents/adults who aren't paying can sit and chit chat. SO AMAZING!!! The staff were so nice and accommodating. We would definitely return. I'm on a personal mission to keep Tornado Terrys from going out of business. I used to go in college all the time. It was one of my favorite things to do and recently I brought my son to experience the same joy. He had such a blast. We love the snacks and merch. He loved getting tokens to play games and get tickets and redeem them for candy and toys. Coming here is such a core memory and so nostalgic. I love that it's all you can play. All the larger arcades are so expensive and pay per play so I love their all you can play model. I'm devastated by the news and hope that the community will come together to help them. Family owned company. Great place for birthday parties! We have enjoyed visiting Tornado Terry's for 20+ years.

My kiddo and I decided to try this place out after driving by a few times. It was pretty quiet for a Friday night. It might not have as many options as other arcades, but it didn't feel crowded and I enjoyed not feeling rushed by others for their turn to play. It's $15 per person for the arcade games, pool tables, and air hockey. They also have a token area where you can win tickets for prizes. The token area was kinda small, but the games there make it easy to win tickets if you are wanting a prize. They do not allow outside food or drink, but they had many drink options to choose from as well as some snacks to enjoy to keep you fueled between games. Honestly, I'm more likely to come back here with the rest of the family than the other big arcades near by. I feel like it's worth the drive to support this local and family owned business. read more

first time there was for their 31year anniversary and it was $5 for all you could play games. including air hockey and pool. there's a whole other room where you have to use tokens for skee ball and pinball that we skipped. had a good time, it was busy but i was assured it wasn't normally that busy on a summer afternoon and they were just getting ready to close for a remodel. can't wait to see what it looks like this fall! read more

I took my son to Tornado Terry's Saturday August 17th. I remember coming here when I was a young teen. Figured it would be a good way to beat the heat for a few hours. It's still the same pay to get in, and play arcade's as much as you want. They have a small area where you can earn tickets from purchased tokens. Not a lot here, but a few cool skill games, and a interesting bowling game. A few skeeball lanes. But the main attraction is the arcades, I was a little worried with the advancement with gaming on console my (10yr) son would be bored with them. But he was thrilled to play all of them, especially the plethora of racing, and shooting games. They have it all really, Street Fighter,Tekken, MK,Blitz, Cruisein USA,Halo,Dance Dance Revolution. They even have a lineup of classic games from my early youth. Mario, DK, Pacman, Galactica to name a few. They also have a few free pool tables, and air hockey. We ended up spending a whole afternoon here, the place isn't huge or fancy. But the staff is amazing, and accommodating, friendly. If you want bang for your buck, and a fun time definitely check it out. Tornado Terry's is a staple of Keller imo. read more

I love this place! I love the business model of a flat all-day fee with the games free to play (minus the ticket style games, obviously). The games are super maintained, a great assortment from new and nostalgic, a decent snack bar, and you can even leave and return the same day. It's frankly the arcade I dreamed of existing back in 1983. They are set up great for birthday parties. I don't know why anyone would host a party at a Chuck E Cheese with this place in town. When we have company visiting with kids, we often use this as the entertainment go-to. I hope they're here forever! read more

I can't speak for the actual arcade or the types of games offered but we had my 7year old sons birthday party here this past weekend and all the kids had a blast!!! We had the room for 45 mins to do cake and presents which was plenty of time. The kids enjoyed the whole event! I highly recommend this place for a kiddos birthday party! My only reason for rating 4stars instead of 5 is that we were not allowed to bring any food in except cake. My son wanted pizza and we couldn't bring that in- there is food/concessions there but nothing my son wanted to eat. Most birthday parties offer food and cake but this one we only did cake. On the other side of that, the party venue was a steal and offered extras such as the token room where the kids got to play for tickets and cash in their tickets for prizes. This is great. It's obviously a mom and pop small business. There's nothing fancy, but the games are awesome. They have drinks and snacks likr CANDY, microwave popcorn and microwave samdwiches like cheeseburgers and cheese steak. I brought the kids here today because there isn't any school. Today's Friday, the first day of spring break. And there has been some traffic, but its not busy at all right now. We have the place to ourself. I'm having a blast and I'm 43. Tons of racing tons of shooting and tons of classics for the parents. The all you can play for 14.50 is well worth it. read more

This place is fantastic! Basically, the price is awesome, and the games are great. They have new AND old games, and they have something for everyone! Unlimited gaming = spend an entire Saturday with nothing to do here... Definitely pleased with the price for 5 people. A little under $60. That sounds expensive, but seriously, go try and get this kind of fun for under that for 5 people! Anywho, they also have a tokens section which requires cash, but the game side is enough. My favorite arcade you can never find anything else like it nowadays. I went here when I was about seven years old for my friends birthday party and it was absolutely unforgettable they had just about every game I wanted to play with just the wristband and it was awesome for me and my friends. I loved this place so much I remembered it's name for a decade (which I never do). I'm now 18 and it's astonishing that around 11 years later it hasn't lost it's sparkle one bit. I enjoyed this place more than I did when I was a child. I'd love to tell you that I have no firsthand knowledge and this was all about the kids, but....well...I played as hard as they did and regret none of it. I miss the days of gameworks and other destination arcades. We tried Chuck E. Cheese(man that place has gone downhill since my childhood), we tried Itz(even back when it was amazing pizza factory it didn't compare)....We've tried them all. This place was so much smaller, we didn't think there would be much of a selection or comparison. Like most of my 5 star reviews, I was happy to be wrong again. You pretty much pay a cover fee to enter the game floor and it's unlimited play - the small token area is all ticket machines for prizes, and it's relatively easy to win something for the kids without continuously pumping quarters with little payout. They allow folks like me to lock into nostalgia mode while including the kiddos, but they also have newer/fresher games as well. Pretty impressive selection considering the size of the building - it was way more than we expected, and we will certainly be returning. Bring cash- they like cash.... This is a great place for the whole family. You pay a cover charge ($12 last time I went) and play without limit!!! They have lots of arcade games, pool, air hockey, and a big room full of Midway style games where you win tickets for a prize (these are not on the limitless play). The atmosphere is cool for older or younger kids (my 13 year old and 3 year old both love it!) and my husband and I always have a blast too! All you can play arcade for $13.50. It isn't huge, but there are quite a few games. The best part is that pretty much all the games worked, even the really old ones. They must do their own repairs because the joysticks and buttons all worked, even on the Simpsons Arcade Game. I came out with an old friend, we had a blast beating some games we never had enough quarters to best growing up. Personally there are a few notable exclusions (Ahem Virtua Fighter), but over all it is a really good mix of games. Old, new, racing, fighting, shoot em ups, music and sports. Even air hockey and pool. I came out on a Friday night and had no idea what to expect. It was actually pretty perfect. Not so crowded that you couldn't get on the games you wanted but also not so empty as to be sad. It is a fine line to walk. The biggest mistake we made was coming too late, we ran out of time. I'll definitely be back to do some hardcore air hockey training. As a side note, this is what I like to imagine the Wreck It Ralph arcade would be like in real life. That makes me smile. What a wonderful place to take the family! Even though this is kind of far from us out there on Keller-Hicks, we decided to give it a try. The price for the tickets are 12.50 and it is UNLIMITED gaming. On the website, it says that on Friday, Saturdays and Sundays, you can bring in old or recent movie stubs for 2.50 off of each ticket, so we ended up with a 7.50 discount! We were very pleased. The games are fantastic, with FREE game-play and you can play for as long as you like. They have Guitar Hero, pool, air-hockey and about 30-45 arcade machines with plenty of racing, fighting and hunting games! The place is superbly clean and has a huge television for you to watch if you don't feel like playing the games, as well as comfortable chairs and clean tables. The food is VERY cheap for these kind of places! Usually, we expect to pay about 6-8$ for a hamburger and chips. Chips are .50 here as well as candy, muffins and small snacks for 1$. They also have hamburgers and hotdogs. Now of course, do not expect gourmet food, but it wasn't that bad. The customer service was fantastic. There was a young teenager girl there who helped us and she was very friendly and informative. We went on a Friday night and it was NOT packed AT ALL! We had a BLAST and would recommend this for all families who like to play games without spending 100$ on tokens! read more

Better than I expected. There is a good mixture of games. Quite a few newer games but also a few hits that those of you who are also 35+ will appreciate. And of course some oldies that are still fun. I enjoyed watching my son hover around the game's I grew up with instead of the newer games. We went Sunday and it wasn't very crowded. Expect the kids to hog up the good games and the air hockey tables but there are plenty of open games to play while you wait for an open table. Only downside. .....man im alot taller than when I was a kid and the angle of the joystics and buttons are clearly geared towards shorter peep (kids, duh) than us older and taller people. My wrists cried mercy after an hour and I resorted to watching my son enjoy himself and gladly took part in the awesome head to head driving games. And the little guy beat me on several of them. I would go 5 stars if it wasn't for the food. The corndogs were 2 bucks a piece and they were the frozen Foster Farm soggy dogs. Staff was friendly and I learned that if you just want to pay to watch your kids play you can. If you enter the "free zone" you need a stamp to play and need to wear a bright colored vest if your in the free zone to just watch your kid. Honestly its small enough to watch the kids from the tables without any issues. I noticed a thin blue line sticker on the business truck, hats off to you sir! We will be back. read more

Really awesome place! Full of old arcade games, air hockey, pool, etc. I had sent my husband and daughter here last summer with some coupons & they had a grand time. We got 3 of the same coupons, 2.50 off or 10 tokens, thru summer reading so I came with them this go around. Regular price would have been 14.50 per person but got 12 a head with the coupons. Which made the amount of time we were there and amount we played a deal based off of .25-1.00 prices I'm used to for what games we played. Played some Tetris, donkey kong, pac man, a couple old space ship games from my youth, Jurassic Park with the kid, guitar hero & air hockey. A good amount of this is shooting games which isn't my bag of tea so after 2 hours I was done. The pinball was in the token area which I get as those machines easily break but I would have liked to play them. Ticket area didn't seem to have much draw even to my kid, prizes are mostly oriental trading looking stuff so for me pinball would be the main money draw on that end. They do look like they could use some upgrades to the building ... They do offer birthday parties but didn't see any information about it anywhere. Worth a visit for sure! read more

This place is SO much fun! I have been here twice recently, and it's just so cool! Nostalgic, clean, fun and best of all.. Affordable!! Pay one small fee and play all games all day! They have a few, like literally a few, that cost extra, but 90% of the games are included, even pool and air hockey. The snack bar is great with items that are not overpriced. Cheap even. Which is a rarity! The only reason I'm giving it a 4 is because I can't really say they are the most friendly people ever. Definitely not mean or obnoxious, just not "friendly". And the website needs a major upgrade. It's literally useless except for the phone number to call for info. Nostalgia is fantastic, but not on a website. I'm actually giving it 5 stars.. This is a great place and very easy on the pocket book. It is a flat fee for all the games, except those that give tickets or other prizes. My kids loved it. We spent 4 hours playing without really noticing it. They have pool tables also. The video game selection seemed dated. That is fine with me, and my kids didn't notice. They also have free wifi. This is great if you have to get things done and can let your kids go wild. You could not take drinks into the game area. This is understandable though. The only negatives (and I am really nitpicking here): It would be nice if the pool tables were bigger. They have the 6 ft kind. It would also be nice if the food selection was a little better. We have been here several times, and my son had his birthday party here. I usually get a party tray for the adults, but nothing like that was available. You cannot bring in outside food. But, for the money, this place cannot be beat. read more
