The event…read more(The Journey) was an immersive experience that involved storytelling of young ladies who were in foster care and have aged out of foster care. The venue is small yet warm and inviting. The backyard is a decent size. They have a restroom, kitchen and an upstairs at the venue. The appetizers and desserts were yummy and I enjoyed the live music. Being able to hear one of the volunteers who used to be in the foster care system share her story of overcoming adversity was inspiring. Roxy was incredibly easy to work with and answered any and all questions we had throughout our planning process. We were able to visit the venue twice and speak with Roxy about their list of add-ons (the dessert cart being one of them). The venue is rustic and has everything you need including a kitchen, private room, and beautiful backyard with a wooden arbor! Everything ran exceptionally smoothly the day of the event, as an on-site coordinator was available to assist us. She was even generous enough to help us cut the cake towards the end of the shower! The location was really easy to find as it was right off 114. Everything in the area is newly built and there is plenty of parking. From the outside the event space doesn't look like much but don't let that fool you. As you enter the event space, it's like you stepped into a magical scene. I absolutely loved the lighting, they hung twinkle lights from wall to wall. On the main wall is a grass wall that you can use for a message or add flowers. The venue has tables that you can use which is a nice plus. They allow you to use any vendor you want and bring in anything like chairs, decor, etc. I love the fact that you don't have to use specific vendors for catering or rentals. The space is large enough for 75 people but would be most comfortable with around 60. I think it would be great for wedding, birthday parties, concerts, etc. There is enough space you could create a small stage or bring in a DJ. They also have a side room that could be used as dressing room or food prep area. Outside is another area that you could have an outdoor wedding. It would be a great place for pictures as you can catch the sunset. I forgot to mention that for the location and the flexibility of the venue, it's really budget friendly.
