The event…read more(The Journey) was an immersive experience that involved storytelling of young ladies who were in foster care and have aged out of foster care. The venue is small yet warm and inviting. The backyard is a decent size. They have a restroom, kitchen and an upstairs at the venue. The appetizers and desserts were yummy and I enjoyed the live music. Being able to hear one of the volunteers who used to be in the foster care system share her story of overcoming adversity was inspiring. I look forward to attending another event at this venue in the future.

Roxy was incredibly easy to work with and answered any and all questions we had throughout our planning process. We were able to visit the venue twice and speak with Roxy about their list of add-ons (the dessert cart being one of them). The venue is rustic and has everything you need including a kitchen, private room, and beautiful backyard with a wooden arbor! Everything ran exceptionally smoothly the day of the event, as an on-site coordinator was available to assist us. She was even generous enough to help us cut the cake towards the end of the shower! The venue has a nice front room, a center area which is good for a couple of tables, a back room with fire place that is pretty big and a nice size kitchen. We used all the indoor space for our event. There is also a lovely backyard and patio area that can be used for different things as well. Everyone was super nice and accommodating to us. We got so many compliments on what a cool venue this place was for a baby shower. I would absolutely recommend this spot if you are looking to host an event. The theme of my party was brunch and bingo, so we had a stage set up where the bingo callers stood with a podium and microphone. We had a connection for my iPhone so we could play music while we ate.
