I been invited to at least 2 events at this venue and both were amazing. The most recent was an event for work where we took over the whole main ballroom all day. The parking was honestly not enough for us since we had over 300 people attending this venue. No need to stress as there is free street parking as well as overflow parking out in TCC northeast campus. The staff here was attentive to keeping our water and ice jugs refilled all through the day. Lots of lounge chairs and sofas out in the lobby and there is also a cozy fire place that outlooks a patio with a water fountain. When I attended it was too cold to be outside so the patio was closed. During my conference we had breakfast and lunch provided by the venue. Breakfast was continental with bagels, assorted pastries and coffee. I got there too late in the morning but from what I heard from my coworkers is that there were fresh fruit but it was all gone. Lunch was a choice of Tex-Mex. We had chicken breast in some kind of chipotle sauce, black beans, chips and salsa and for the vegetarians they had cheese enchiladas with black olives in it. For dessert they had a 3 leches cake and honestly it was not that good. My favorite was the avocado salad they had. It was romaine lettuce with grapefruit, jicama , bell peppers, tons of avocado and this creamy green goddess dressing. The bathrooms were clean and did not stink as they had scented plug is that made it pleasant. The wifi was strong but I did have trouble connecting at first since I did not know the password haha (hint is the address of the building).

This was an amazing event!!!!! The venue was just beautiful. The lighting was as if you was under the stars. They give us swag bags which was filled with some great ideas. They had a cocktail hour with drinks and food. As well as pop up shops. The pop up shops was the best. They had something for everyone. It was a wonderful charity event that benefited the Tarrant Area Food Bank and Oasis Center. There was some beautiful models and lots of great talent at this event. It was well worth the cost of the ticket. One of my favorite was the saxophone player Nandi Ibegbu. He made my ears smiles. Thank to Keicha Miskell for the invite and Sapphire Chic Modeling for making this event well worth it.

Went here for the Mid Cities Arts and crafts show, there was over 50 vendors and also sold wine and mimosas. There was so many things for sale and we had a great time. The convention center is very nice, I can't believe this was my first visit and definitely won't be my last.

Right off the busy intersection of Highway 183 and Precinct Line is this beautiful venue. Even though I went to TCC's Northeast campus just around the corner, I had no idea this conference center existed. I'm guessing that this building is a new addition to the neighborhood. My mom and I visited the Hurst Conference Center for a debutante/scholarship ball. That night was the night of our first almost freeze of the year and I was especially grateful for the parking garage on site. We parked in the parking garage and walked right into the building. The decorations were exquisite and the main room was big enough to accommodate hundreds of people. It would be great for a conference, ball, wedding...the possibilities are endless.

Wow!! My cell was dead so I only got a couple of pics of the place. The bar is very modern chic. Great patio. Lots of options for seating: bar, bar tables &chairs, lounge chairs away from the bar, patio. Parking in the garage. They need signs to point people to how to get to the conference center -you are kind of left to your own devices as to which way to go. We were here for a concert. Excellent venue.

Last night was my birthday cocktail part for twenty at the Hurst Conference Center: A full premium bar, appetizers, high boy tables, seated tables and live music! The area was gorgeous with a long fireplace and two standing heaters. I chose black linen and the Center provided mirrors on each table and green uplighting! This outside area of HCC is surrounded by a privacy Austin Stone wall. Even as cool as the weather was, we were warm and surrounded by wonderful live classical guitar. No highway noise was evident. The reason I booked my party at HCC is because of the organization. I knew I could count on the total professionalism, exceptional planning and service that this organization has exhibited time and time again. From the top management, Chefs, bartenders, service personnel, etc., they are courteous and used to staging events, small like mine, or very very large. Another reason I booked my party at HCC was because of the food. I am a foodie and most of my friends are ,too. I will attach photos of my event, but understand that this culinary team can put together anything you can dream up. The food was delicious and all my friends thought so, as well. When I plan a party, small or large, your money will always be well spent at Hurst Conference Center! Special thanks to Kristen, Chris and Joseph.

The field is home to Twilight Thursdays, Bedford's own little spring concert series, and to the huge Bedford Christmas tree. More informally its my girls and I's secret spot for exploring and Ice Cream on Friday afternoon's when my 3 year old gets out of preschool. I love that they can run, collect rocks and lady bugs, climb large rocks, and dig in the dirt road (Don't worry! We always put it back!) and be safely away from traffic off of the road. I can sit on a picnic blanket and watch and not have to worry about my kids falling off of a some large plastic playground, or getting run over by a car! My only suggestion, especially for twilight Thursdays, is that those fire ant hills are crazy! I got bit several times last season.. yikes! The school house itself is classic, and is like a last piece of country history in a city that becomes more suburban and built up every day. You can see pictures from the its glory days, look at a traditional one room school house set up, attend a murder mystery dinner, or rent one of their different rooms for meetings, or the entire building for a wedding. The last time my girls and I were there, my little one had to go to the bathroom and there was a wedding set-up going on, so we were able to sneak in (with permission!) and use the restroom. The set up was adorable...a PERFECT wedding venue. If I had known this place was available back in the day when I was married, I totally would have chosen it! The wooden stair case and old beams and windows make for great photo ops! I have also attended a 50th birthday celebration here a few years back! There was plenty room for a buffet, a bar, tons of guests and a live band.. totally fun! Last year we went to the school house to take some christmas pictures, and ending up choosing one with the school house in the background for our card! We also took some family photos here last weekend... out back they have bluebonnets, and some great stairs for backdrops. ....I am kind of sad I am writing this review, because now everyone will know my secret hiding spot in HEB for pictures, parties and play! :)

First, the air conditioning situation was unacceptable. While setting up earlier in the day, all the AC units were functioning fine. But by the time our event started at 5:45 p.m., the venue started getting noticeably warmer. By 7:30 p.m., it was unbearably hot. We realized that only two of the AC units were actually running, despite there being multiple units around the venue, each controlled by 4 different remotes. No matter what we tried, the remotes would not turn the other units on. On top of that, two of the AC unit/fans were leaking, which our guests complained about throughout the evening. There were PUDDLES of water everywhere by the end of the night. We attempted to contact the owner, Monica, multiple times, and she finally responded after several attempts--far too late to resolve the issue. The heat got so bad that guests were leaving the venue to cool off in their cars before trying to come back in. Many left by 10 p.m., unable to enjoy the event. I was incredibly embarrassed. I spent a lot of money on this venue expecting my guests to have a good time, and they did not. Second, the bartender situation was completely unprofessional. We hired the bartender through the venue, and later found out she's related to the owner (which would've been fine--if she had done her job). My guests told me she disappeared for almost an hour, and one of my own guests had to step behind the bar and serve drinks. I later found out the bartender was outside "taking a break" because it was too hot. A 15-minute break is one thing, but vanishing for an hour while getting paid hourly is absolutely ridiculous. To top it off, here's a helpful tip: if you rent this venue, bring your own trash bags--even if you've paid a cleaning fee. Apparently, that doesn't include basic supplies. Bottom line: This place is not worth the money, time, or stress. Poor climate control, poor communication, and poor staffing made for a miserable night. I will never return, and I do not recommend this venue to anyone planning a special event.
