Had my daughters quinceañera this past week, and it turned out absolutely beautiful! The thing I love about this venue is their flexibility, tell them what you want and they will do their best to make it happen. There's lots of options for add on decorations with many different colors and textures, if you don't like something just let them know and they will work with you until you love it! Special shoutout to Frankie! He was an absolute doll to work with and was there majority of the event to help out with dimming of lights, fog machine, sparklers etc. it felt like working with a a longtime friend, we were having so much fun! Their bartender Paige and even the dishwasher on for the event were awesome to work with, they made the event so much more fun and all did a fantastic job. Terrible experience! We asked for a short intimate service, just to exchange vows. Rita was 20 minutes late, arrived eating a plate of food. Had to change after she arrived. She chose to sit in a chair in front of the stage while performing her part. Moments after we started exchanging our vows, workers were bringing out chairs on dollies making tons of noise, which of course ruined the moment for us. After we were pronounced, and she was signing the paperwork, she asked us If everything was OK and we communicated that we were not happy about how the experience went. She apologized, but then said that it was out of her control. Which is very disappointing because that was literally her one job to make sure our 20 minute time slot went according to plan. $180 for 20 minutes where she literally sat and said some words seems over priced, Especially for the service that we received. I had the pleasure to attend my close friend and her husband's five year wedding renewal at this venue. Man when I tell you Yelpers this is an immaculate venue, right along with the staff. Lauren was helping the wedding coordinator Elizabeth set-up the reception hall. She was so delightful to speak with until the ceremony began. Matt the bartender made sure that everyone's glass stayed full of "cheer" while the D.J. kept spinnin' all the tunes. The decor was elegant, classy and marvelous in every sense of the word. White drapery with white sparkling lights to illuminate the ceremony hall. I must say I had a good time with my friends. Perfect venue for our wedding! The venue itself was beautiful and had plenty of places for great pictures. The actual wedding hall had a gorgeous backdrop and seating. we only had 10 people due to Covid restrictions but you would never have guessed it with how nicely done the venue was setup. We chose to do the Deluxe elopement wedding instead of JP and i am so glad we did. Rita made everything so perfect for us. The flowers were gorgeous and the cake was absolutely beautiful- 3 tier rustic design cake that was so delicious. The ceremony had the perfect balance of serious and funny, which i greatly appreciated with how nervous i was. Unity candle ceremony was included as well which added a special touch for our parents. I had my wedding here and it was so amazing. Rita was so warm to me, my husband, our family and friends. I would definitely go with a rehearsal first. But we were so nervous it probably wouldn't have mattered! The venue is absolutely gorgeous and I would choose this place over and over again! My sweet niece had her wedding at this location this past Saturday. While the location was beautiful, my niece was told she had the venue until 3:00 pm then time for clean up afterwards. At 2:00 pm another family showed up and stood in the hallway waiting for us to vacate. It made everyone feel rushed and our guests started leaving early. I felt so bad for my niece! The owner even came into the reception and sat on the stage staring at our family and friends as if to intimidate us to leave early. She should have never allowed anyone but my niece's family and friends to be on property until our appointed time was up. I would NOT recommend this facility to anyone under this management! read more

We had the pleasure of having our ceremony and reception at Feragne Villa this year. If you allow it, planning for the big day can be stressful, however Rita and other staff always reminded us, what was really important. When you spend 7 months with a business you typically; want to enjoy their company. My husband and I certainly did; every time we met with Rita and Leo. Give Feragne Villa a shot! You tell them what you're looking for and they will do their very best to create it for you. I know they did for us. I wasn't a Bridezilla or anything, but I definitely wanted more than a few meetings right before our special day, and they accommodated me every time. Rita made it very clear that the Brides job the day of the wedding is absolutely nothing! And that is something I really appreciate now looking back:) I will say for couples or anyone planning to do business with Feragne Villas...and Rita would say this as well..keep track of ALL your receipts and keep your own Financial records, and triple check that you all are both on the same page with prices and due dates ...it's just, good practice. For Feragne Villa I say, Communication between staff needs improvement. There was a situation where my bridesmaid asked about the cake...and one of the staff said, i thought they didn't get a cake....well this got back to me, and I KNOW we asked and paid for cakes! Longer story short, the cakes were found and all was grand. Their was a moment of panic that could have been avoided though. The last thing I would suggest for Feragne Villa is, have a better system with tracking finances...I'm all for pen and paper but not when it comes to keeping up with payoffs and such. I'm leaving one star cause I had too. I was the mother of the Bride. Rita is only in it for the money. She doesn't care for you to enjoy yourself or well being. Rita is racist. She called the police during my daughters wedding because we decided we weren't leaving after paying over $8k and her trying to threaten us with police. So the police arrived and Rita said she had 30 people trying to attack her. She was very rude and racist. She put all our guest in danger and tried to ruin the day that's supposed to be one my daughter's most memorable moments. She kept saying she was scared. If she is so fearful of Black folks she shouldn't hold any events!!! The police told her there's nothing they can do and just enjoy the wedding. Rita disappeared and we didn't see her the rest of the evening. We paid for security, which never arrived. I told Rita If she wanted us to leave provide a full refund and we'll leave her facility. We enjoyed our night after all that but she caused emotional stress. This will not end at a review. She will learn to leave folks be!! read more

Attended a wedding and reception here; hat tip to the efficiency of the staff. Everything seemed to move along seamlessly and quickly. There's also patio space just outside the venue for a cocktail and mingling hour, which I enjoyed a great deal...it's nice to incorporate fresh air and sunlight into the overall feel and experience of an event venue. Chiavari chairs throughout, multiple chandeliers in the larger reception area, windows with somewhat sheer panels overlooking the lot/patio area. Spacious venue with plenty of room for maneuvering/setting up different social areas. I imagine you could bring in overlays and linens, drapes, china, and lighting to create as much drama as your heart desires. Of course, the venue isn't what made the event lovely, it was the couple...beautiful. read more

I really wanted to write this review because i cannot believe the experience we had. This is supposed to be the most special day for us. We went into the room to get dressed and it was so gross. I walked down the aisle to music from her phone. It was so hot in there, we were all sweating. She even mispronounced my name multiple times even though we went over it with her and corrected her consistently throughout the ceremony. I could have overlooked all of that but I truly felt Rita, the officiant, treated this as a joke. It was extremely unorganized, and she said some very strange things during the ceremony. It was a disaster for one of the most important moments of our life. Please do not come here. There was no effort put into this and we will never get this moment back. Our family even commented on how terrible things were. If i could give this zero stars i would. I hate talking down on any business, but this was just unacceptable. read more

This past Saturday 01/16 we showed up to our 11a.m. appt. with a Justice of the Peace to get married. But when we got there his secretary said he forgot to cancel with us & said he wasn't going to be able to make it after all. My day was almost ruined until we Found Rita online! She took the time to fit us in within a couple of hours. She was very welcoming and sweet & we loved her sense of humor! Our mini ceremony couldn't have been more perfect for being last minute! It was a beautiful setting. It was far more of a wonderful experience than being married by any Justice of the Peace! I cannot Thank You enough Rita for making our day possible! read more

My cousin had her wedding here and it was a beautiful wedding. But the venue.. it's not as beautiful or great place. I've been to tons of quince and been a lot of venues. The decoration are all pretty much the same. This venue was a bit smaller. Probably for 150 people or less. What made this venue horrible was the food. They served Mexican food which were beef and chicken fajita, rice, beans and chips and guacamole. The meats were not the typical fajita meat. They had a weird taste to it like it wasn't seasoned right. Then came the beans.. refried or pinto beans. The refried looked like poop. Super dark and no taste! My husband who's Mexican said it came from a can. The pinto beans looked like someone found a YouTube video on how to make charros. But they failed on making it good. Now the rice was the talk of the scene. When I first saw it i thought it was Indian rice. Because it looked like basmati rice. Then I hear people yelling don't eat the rice! I felt the texture and gave it a taste. Yup it was messed up. The rice was undercooked and didn't have the right seasoning. Of course someone did complain and the staff attempted to fix it. The first time they tried to fix it. They brought out panda express fried rice. Panda was next door and my table did joke about that. Finally they did bring out the right rice. Ok great congrats! So then I saw a lady pick up peoples plates and just hold it against her. She would walk around pick up plates and drop utensils on the ground. Unprofessional! She should've used the round server's pan. If I had a suggestion it would be work on hiring more people for a large number of guests. Also don't serve Mexican food anymore. read more

The three stars are for the venue itself. It's a great space needing little or no extras. The first sign of trouble was the wife of the team, Rita. Over the phone, as we were driving to our walk through, she said she was on her way. When we arrived, we met the husband who said Rita would not be coming. The husband had no idea about pricing or what would be included if we bought our drinks from them. He quoted one price and we wrote it down. The more detailed plans, the more confused he was. We did finally hear from Rita and we were able to go over prices with her. Everything changed from the drink price to now there is no soda available. We were so close to our event that we really had no time to move it. The wait staff was courteous and quick to set things up. When I told them it was time to cut the cake, they thought I no longer wanted the dinner buffet open. Some late comers, from out of town, didn't get to eat and I came home with several trays of food. read more

I guess this place must be fairly busy because each time I visited it was always in process or transition but not very clean. We went with it because we could see the potential, not to mention we were a little short on time. Things to watch out for. Rita is a fast talker and she is not in sync with the owner, Leo. She was upselling at every turn. We asked about the LOVE table which a beautiful table for the cake or desserts. We were told by Rita it was extra. According to Leo, it was not. We were told by Rita that their centerpieces were extra. According to Leo, they were not. Our choice on the meal hadn't quite been decided but Rita continued to try and sell us their meal plan, which after reading other posts on here, I'm thankful we didn't. $15 a plate then down to $12 a plate for some dang tacos. Anyways going forward, we had to pay for a security guy (Leo) for a non-alcoholic event. Why??? Rita said you'd be surprised how many events we have that says it's not going to be an alcoholic event and then end up being alcohol there. That's not my issue but ok we'll go ahead and pay the extra. So here's Leo walking around with his wife during our event looking so out of place. Guests were asking, "who are those people". They were supposed to be outside working security not inside making their way through the crowd. As the night begins to come to a close, Rita shows up looking disheveled making her way through the crowd to the kitchen to heat up her evening snack. She proceeds to make her way to the grooms dressing room, lets out the recliner and smells up the room with the putrid snack. Meantime we are trying to gather our belongings from out of there as she's stretched out with the tv on as if she were at her own home. So unprofessional. I do not recommend this place unless you have nowhere else to go and you can have someone work between Rita and Leo to get a clear understanding of what's what. Oh did I mention, the place was not even ready when we got there. They gave us one hour before our event was to start to set everything up. During my initial meeting with Rita and Leo, I was pleasantly surprised with the family environment and the kindness shown to my team. However, when we were told to load our stuff in for our event, the staff was aggravated at our presence, due to a miscommunication between them. Not exactly welcoming. When we arrived the next day to set up for our event, another one was going on beside us. What sounded like a phenomenal worship service that was supposed to last until 3, lasted until 4. We lost an hour of desperately needed set up time and the employees were no help. After the set up and arrival of guests, dinner was the first thing on our agenda. This was 45 minutes past the time it was scheduled for and this was the result of lack of communication between the staff. My team and I were not pleased and neither were our guests. When we got the food, it was cold. Honestly it was gross regardless of the temperature. We were very disappointed. In addition to all of this, in the middle of our event, Leo the photographer came up to one of my team members, asking for $150 payment for his work. We had already paid in full the amount decided on, and were very frustrated. We made the best of our night, but were dissatisfied with the results, and we won't be returning next year. read more

We attended a wedding reception there last weekend. The venue was beautiful. Although what people will remember the most, was the extremely poor presentation of the meal for a formal sit down dinner. The tables were set, with no water at all on the table, or even glasses. The salads were on the table, with several tables not having any salad dressing provided. The main entrée was being put on tables randomly, while the bridal party was being presented, so the salads had not been eaten yet. The organization was very poorly conducted, and the servers didn't seem to have any formal instructions. The bridal table (of over 20 people) was served haphazardly with a few plates being served, and then a few plates served at another completely different table, and then plates served at yet another table. No table was served completely at the same time! As a consequence, people at the bridal table consisted of some people eating while other people sat waiting on their meal, which then showed up very late, and cold. Some guest had to send their plates back to get them heated, while others just ate the cold food. There were two children's meals ordered, which you would believe would be served first, as 3-4 year old children do not sit and wait very well when they are hungry. They were served, later, right before the brides's parents were. The final frustration came when the mother and father of the bride, along with two other family members sitting at the same table, were served LAST, and the food was cold. (needless to say, that was not requested). Simple instructions to the numerous servers (by the management) there would be, 1. Serve the bridal party table FIRST. Do not go any further until they have ALL been served! 2. Then, COMPLETELY, serve the brides parents table SECOND. Which would be known by the table cards on each table that are numbered. So go to #1, and then table marked #2, which would be probably be the grooms parents and immediate members of that family. 3. Then continue serving the remaining tables completely, and all with hot food. This procedure is not difficult, and seems like most people would understand it, with instructions, especially at a facility that does this as a business. Along with being able to keep hot food hot. As a guest, who is not from the area, we were extremely disappointed in our meal and service, or lack there of. Wedding planners---be careful here!!! read more

I did not get married at this venue and thank goodness because the limited experience I had with staff here was honestly atrocious. I ordered my wedding flowers from a florist that works out of this venue named Matt from The Orchid Flower Design. On the morning of my wedding, I was scheduled to pick up my flowers from Feragne. I walked in on a bridal party getting ready and staff no where to be found. One of the bridesmaids said that the lady that worked there was in a room with the door locked and she was sleeping but I could knock if I wanted to. First off it's 9:30am on a Saturday and there is a wedding party getting ready, why are you asleep at the venue? That's just he beginning. I knock on the door with no response so I knock again, still no response. I call and text Matt and get no response from him. I knock a third time to Rita answering in what appeared to be a bathrobe screaming "HOW CAN I HELP YOU?!" with a heinous attitude. When I explained that I was picking up my flowers that Matt dropped off, she flipped the script on me apologizing and explaining that she thought I was "those stupid people", referring to the bridal party getting ready in the venue. She takes me to my flowers which I hardly looked at because I was so flustered with the situation knowing I'm on a time crunch and I've wasted 20 minutes trying to figure out where the staff is to help me. At this point I get a response from Matt and I let him know I got the flowers. I get home and the flowers are utterly disappointing, but I won't go into to detail here because that's not the point of this review. After texting Matt that I'm unhappy with the flowers, he calls me but I had my husband talk to him because I didn't have time to. My husband explained that Rita screamed at me which resulted in Rita calling me. I told her that I felt she was unprofessional and that I was unhappy with the way she treated me and she again blamed in on "those stupid people" referring to the bridal party because she thought their music was too loud. I told her that if she didn't see that calling the other bridal party "those stupid people" was unprofessional that this conversation wasn't going anywhere because she wasn't taking responsibility for her actions. I told her that I didn't want to discuss it any further because this is my wedding day and I would like to enjoy it, not spend it arguing on the phone. She says "enjoy your day" with an attitude and hangs up. What a joke! I've never written a bad review about anyone on Yelp, I'm a firm believer in praising good service and that is historically what I've done on Yelp. This was this most unprofessional and troublesome customer service experience I've ever had. DON'T GET MARRIED HERE, spend your money elsewhere. I had my wedding at Artspace111 and ended up getting my flowers fixed at Kroger believe it or not. The only crisis of my wedding day happened at a venue that wasn't even mine lol! read more

I would recommend renting a tent and putting it in your driveway before using this venue. They are extremely disorganized. We were told several things that were never delivered because they were verbal promises and not in our contract; they promise the moon and stars yet don't even deliver what's in the contract. We were told we could arrive 2 hours early to decorate the venue. Our contract states we could be there to set up 1.5 hours early. We arrived at 5 and had 10 family members help put up the tables and chairs finishing around 5:45. We were waiting on some of the table covers until just after 6 pm. I called them 24 hours before the event to ask about something and they said that they didn't have our table covers and could we just use a different color, because renting them was going to inconvenience them. We didn't get most of our extra food to take home, the buffet was put out just before 7 and was gone around 8:30. The "white" chair seats ranged from white to beige and we had to sort them to get similar colored chairs at a single table. Tables and chairs were being stacked and put away DURING our reception, causing our guests to think the party was over and leave. They began mopping the dance floor with an hour left in our reception and 1/3 of the guests still in attendance. They were very concerned with getting our guests out of the building before the reception ended. Some of the employees were drinking the alcohol we purchased for our guests. Rita sat at one of the dinner tables during the reception and reviewed our contract and wrote a refund check for an overpaid amount with guests nearby. Then, she interrupted me and a guest to discuss the contract and refund. This place is unprofessional to say the least. read more
