I'm very particular about certain things, so I never wanted to feel like I was coerced into making certain decisions about the wedding. She was definitely the only planner I talked to who I felt would give me solid guidance without being overbearing. I hired her for month-of wedding planning services, which primarily involved pulling together all the vendors right before the wedding and coordinating everything on the day of the wedding. However, that did not stop Robyne from going above and beyond. Right when I signed our contract, she immediately started helping me with some vendor suggestions and even offered to come to some of the meetings with me (and this was over a year in advance!). A handful of our vendors came from her suggestions list, and they were all amazing. Also, Robyne checked in on us every couple of months during our planning process, making sure we were on schedule with everything. I felt like a huge weight was lifted off my chest because I knew I could trust her to guide me through the process! Finally, on the day of our wedding, Robyne was the best. My husband and I did not have to worry about a thing! She brought two other people with her (including her husband Jeremy, who also happened to be our DJ) to help out, and they definitely had all bases covered. All of our guests and bridesmaids were really impressed with how smoothly (and on time) everything went. She managed to resolve some major issues (like our photobooth showing up 1.5 hours late) without worrying us. Robyne paid attention to every little detail and even helped me fix my dress after one of the bustles broke! Alicia must have forgotten to make it, because when I went to pick it up, it was not ready and she ran to the back, used last weeks flowers, and put something together in the wrong shades of pink, and NONE of the flowers I ordered were in there. Not to mention the flowers were wilted and dead. My wedding planner spoke with Alicia about her poor work and said that we would not be paying her until she performed to high standards at the actual wedding. 3 days before the wedding, she calls and says she has no flowers for our wedding and will not be doing it because she has not received payment. After much arguing with her, we payed her reluctantly and she promised to provide for us on the wedding day. 2)Wedding Day: First of all, I CRIED when I saw my bouquet. It was that horrible. The flowers were dead, wilted, and all wrong from what I had ordered. As I was taking pre-wedding pictures, myself and all my bridesmaids were having to rip flowers out of our bouquet because they were wilting and falling over. I was mortified that my dear friends had such pathetic flowers. Not to mention the bouquets were TINY and therefore even smaller once they started ripping out flowers. The alter arrangements were horribly lopsided as well. Ruined all my pictures.... I will say, her petals lining my aisle were outstanding. So was every arrangement at the reception. I gave her some credit for that. 3) Post-Wedding: Sent Alicia an email explaining my disappointment and hoped for reimbursement. I heard from someone in her office saying it was best if they never speak with me or my family again. HORRIBLE customer service. We are continuing to try... Needless to say, DO NOT USE HER! Stacey was my wedding planner for our wedding. To say that my wedding was amazing would be an…read moreunderstatement. As the bride and someone that wanted to focus on my guests while they were in town, I knew it was critical to hire the right person so we could keep our attention on our guests. While planning my own wedding, I realized very quickly that I needed assistance to pull off the kind of wedding we wanted. We had a shorter engagement (7 months) and by the time that I found Elegance by Stacey Allen, there were only 4-5 months left until our wedding date. I found Stacey through her website and after the consultation, I immediately I wanted to hire her for the reception part of our event. Through her previous events, I knew that she had the style and experience to pull off the wedding reception we were hoping to create for our family and friends. Stacey was available for phone calls, even during non-daytime hours, so we could discuss details. I provided pictures and we discussed small details. She clearly told me that some of my ideas, if I wanted to implement, would cost additional, which I was willing to pay for. She worked with us on budget and provided excellent ideas/workarounds for what I wanted to do. We got our linens, glassware, chivari chairs, etc from her vendors. She even worked with our florist, whom I was already under contract with, to rearrange the bouquets. We got married at a church and then held our reception offsite in downtown McKinney at the Surrey House. She handled everything. She was an angel! She took some much pressure off of my shoulders, which is exactly what you want as the bride. It is amazing to come across people that you work with that can allow you to enjoy your special day because you know that she has it. She is pro! Oh, I should add that Stacey is an extraordinarily skilled chef too. It's like a two in one (wedding designer/planner and chef). She helped me create the menu with the Surrey House and because of her amazing palate, even helped prepare the food to give it that additional flair. She got it done. My husband still talks about the goat cheese stuffed chicken from our wedding - being the typical bride, I only got to enjoy a quick bite or two. LOL Before the wedding, we did a walkthrough of the linens, how the table would look, etc. You would have to see my photographer's photos to see how amazing and romantic the room was (I will see if I can post them here). She added long flowy curtains (not sure what they are called) to add ambience to the room. The room felt magical and ethereal. Our mock run was nothing to compared to seeing the reception room so magically decorated. She helped me create the dream wedding that I wanted. She is amazing to work with, her style and creativity are out of this world, and I am so forever thankful that she worked with us. Can't recommend her enough!

On the day of the shoot she arrived early to get ready, was full of energy, and we had so much fun going from scene to scene, making costume changes and taking her directions. She was not afraid to get into imaginative postures to get the right shot. We ended up with 200 shots that we are stoked on! She took almost 500.
