I got married at Aristide in Flower Mound on 2/20/26. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful, but unfortunately, the staff did not meet the expectations my husband and I had for what we paid. We chose the vendor package, which included the in-house photographer, and DJ among other things. While the convenience was appealing, several issues occurred throughout the day. To start, our centerpieces only covered 8 of the 10 tables. This may have been an oversight on my part, so I'm not placing blame on the venue for that. The ceremony itself was beautiful, but there was an issue with the music for my entrance. I chose the same song for both my bridesmaids and myself because there was a specific part of the song I wanted to walk down the aisle to. I had previously asked the wedding planner if the music could be looped if timing ran long, and she assured me it could. However, while waiting in the bridal suite with my dad, I heard the part of the song I was supposed to walk into come and go. I was later told that my niece and nephews took longer walking down the aisle. I completely understand that kids will be kids, but this was something we had discussed beforehand to prevent exactly this situation. Our photographer did a good job overall, though we are still waiting on the final photos. However, he forgot about the "first touch" moment I had planned with my husband until one of my bridesmaids reminded him. At the reception, there were multiple issues with the DJ. He switched the entrance songs for my husband, myself, and the bridal party. We used the provided app to carefully create our playlist, but it seemed like it was not followed closely. He also did not fade out the songs for our first dance or for my father-daughter dance as requested. Once open dancing started, he began playing songs that were not on our playlist and that many of our guests did not recognize. Overall, he seemed unprepared. As for the wedding planner, she was helpful during the planning process but did not seem organized on the actual wedding day. We had arranged for a coffee cart during cocktail hour. When the barista finished for the evening, he prepared a bag with coffee items for my husband and me for the next day and said he would give it to the wedding planner. However, the wedding planner left once dancing began. When we were leaving, we remembered the coffee and asked my mom to retrieve it, but she couldn't find the coordinator to ask about it. If one or two small things had gone wrong, it would have been easier to overlook. But the number of mistakes throughout the day left a very disappointing impression for both my husband and me. If you are looking strictly for a beautiful venue, Aristide is stunning. However, based on our experience, I would not recommend purchasing the vendor package, as we did not feel that our plans were executed with the attention to detail we expected. read more

I never leave reviews anywhere, and I've waited almost a year to write this so I could fully gather my thoughts. (I got married here on September 19th, 2024). At first, the experience was fine while planning with Kait. She was friendly and relatable. She mentioned that she wouldn't be at our actual wedding, which was a bummer, but we understood since she said she'd communicate everything to her assistant and still be at the rehearsal to make sure everything was set. When rehearsal night came, however, Kait wasn't there, and there was no communication that she wouldn't be. This would have been fine as well, but none of the details we had planned with her were given to her assistant. The whole rehearsal was very disorganized. The assistant kept asking me questions I had already gone over with Kait, and I was told by Kait that all my plans and details were in the wedding plan document--clearly, they weren't. (The assistant even kept saying "I don't see that in this document") Meeting with the photographer and DJ was also chaotic, as they were both 10-20 minutes late to meetings. Then came the wedding day itself. Nothing was organized when it came to planning and details--where family would sit, when certain songs should play, and even décor that Kait said would be provided. My biggest wish was to have a wooden cross as the centerpiece for the ceremony. Kait told me they'd try to bring it over from another venue as they have done it before. I would have understood if she said they couldn't but we weren't told anything, and I'm not confident the request was even made. To show up and not have something meaningful you were expecting was very disappointing. My sister had to keep reminding the assistant about things, and the DJ even came into the bridal suite while I was getting ready to ask me questions--questions I had already gone over with him on the phone, along with detailed notes and song requests I had entered into the app he directed me to use. I wanted to walk down the aisle at a specific part of a song, which I mentioned many times and even gave the exact time stamp, yet it was still wrong when I walked down (super embarrassing). The photographer also took several poorly framed photos where members of the bridal party were cropped out. During our first kiss, the pastor kindly stepped off stage so he wouldn't be in the pictures--but the photographer didn't wait two seconds, so now the photos show him awkwardly walking across the stage. When we got the photos back, I didn't complain or ask for edits, because you can't fix bad timing or framing. At that point, I was just exhausted by the whole experience. To make matters worse, throughout the wedding, the assistant and DJ were goofing off a lot. Normally that would be fine, but when everything is disorganized, the last thing you want to see is the staff being distracted. Lastly, my husband is in the military. When we first started planning, Kait told us that they usually don't combine discounts with military, but she said she could probably figure something out for us. We never heard about it again, even after submitting a request for the Walter Weddings Military Fund program, which supposedly covered some military weddings. Overall, I would definitely choose somewhere else unless you want to have a stressful wedding, micromanage the day of, and waste thousands of dollars. read more

My daughter had her wedding at Aristide flower mound. The price was attractive and the wedding went well but the reception was ruined with inedible entre's. Thist was a onc re in a lifetime experience for my daughter and her husband only to be spoiled by Aristide's poor judgement. They served small oval chicken paddies that couldnt be eaten they were so dry and hard. I complained in writing but they didnt bother to respond. Look elsewhere if you want a good wedding. read more

So far, my wedding experience with Aristide Flower Mound and Walter's Weddings has been wonderful! My wedding is set for October 2024, and I will post another review once the wedding is over, but I had to take a moment to brag on my AMAZING wedding planner Kait B.! She has been so professional, courteous, and kind. She has made this VERY daunting process seem much less scary. She never makes me feel like I'm a burden (and I ask a LOT of questions) and she makes sure that I've considered and planned for aspects of the wedding I would have never thought of (like picking a napkin fold... something I never thought I would have an opinion on). I was semi-hesitant to use Walter's as I'd seen some previous negative reviews, but I have had nothing but a positive experience so far. My wedding planner Kait is great about communication, always organized, and makes me feel special and valued as we approach my wedding day. I feel so, so lucky to have Kait at the forefront of my planning team and trust that with her help and guidance, my wedding is going to be PERFECT. read more

I just had my wedding at this venue and I wish that I had went with another venue. I usually don't leave reviews but I really needed to speak on my experience with them. Thanks to family and friends we were able to pull it off. The day of my wedding nothing was organized when we arrived at the venue. The venue was supposed to provide floating candle vases and fill them with water and mirrors for the centerpieces but everything was dirty upon arrival. We had florals and other decor that we needed to place around the venue so after a decent amount of time had passed and nothing was being done my family stepped in to clean the wax off the floating candles and fill them up and clean the dirty mirrors for the centerpieces so we could start decorating. Our guest count was close to 140 guests and they had only 1 person at the venue to prep everything before the wedding. Because of the delay it messed with our time getting pictures and we had rush to get the other stuff done. The food was not good and the chicken was extremely dry. The food portions were very very small and it was embarrassing that we didn't have enough to feed everyone. We had some people that didn't show and we still ran out of food. They blamed it on people going for seconds but that is not the truth because everyone had only one plate. The food that we had selected in the meeting prior to the wedding was not the food that was served. The meeting was pointless for us but it has to happen for them so they can get the final guest count and your last payment. Be prepared to get delayed messages once you are payed in full. Between the food and the alcohol package per person it was a complete rip off for what we got the day of the wedding smh. We made the best out of it though and every single one of my vendors that came was fabulous so that helped out a lot all I would change is the venue. Do better Aristide Flower Mound especially when y'all are getting this amount of money from people.. read more

BEWARE of Aristide - Flower Mound keeping your full deposit. Just don't do business with them, go somewhere else. It was the first time they hosted a Quinceannera for our beautiful daughter and I am hoping it is the last one after people read this review. Even though the DJ screwed up the walking song in the Chapel and our first dance song which was supposed to be the Waltz, the evening ended up being fantastic. Everything was perfect, the place, the decorations, the gazebo, the food, the shoe exchange ceremony, my totally unprepared speech that still made people cry and even the silly music that wasn't quite our pre-selected playlist. Fast forward few weeks when we attempted to get our $700 deposit back and the local manager took 3 full weeks to answer our email just to let us know we were not getting anything because a little bit of confetti on the pitch dark parking lot (it was almost 11 pm), resulted in "excessive cleaning" worth that much. They also mentioned decoration were left on the gazebo and send a picture of it even though I took them down the next day (it was a holiday btw so they had nothing scheduled that day) since it was dark outside and they have no light in the gazebo area. So on top of it, they lied about one of them just to keep our deposit. The party was mainly teenagers so obviously the place is not teenagers friendly. When I complained to the general manager, he threw the contract at my face that says confetti is prohibited on the premises and blabla so you don't get your deposit back, period. He also said we didn't pay for the extra guests (so I should be grateful I guess?) and the extend on the confetti was more than shown in the picture. So first of all, they were so smart to take the picture after cleaning most of it and send us the photo with very little confetti in it with the deposit denied! statement. Second, I did run my credit card for the extra guests. It seems they can't even get their facts straight just to argue about keeping your deposit. Third, them cleaning up the gazebo decorations was a complete lie as I have the gazebo decorations at home. Again, it was dark and the little confetti is shown in the PARKING lot only as it came from departing party favors for the guests. Nothing inside. Do they keep the parking lot and the gazebo area bad lit so they can do these type of things? Who would be going around the parking lot at 11 pm with a flashlight to look for trash after a 5 hour long party, while packing all your belongings and being tired from several days of preparations leading to it? Then 3 weeks go by to just deny it and the local manager hasn't returned our follow up calls or emails. So in my opinion, they seem to do this all the time due to the lack of response from the manager. It is too bad because I would have recommended them to anybody wanting to do a Quinceannera or a Sweet 16. At the end, what it was a fantastic night for our family the day before Thanksgiving day 2021, now it is partially a sour memory due to the money hungry people managing the place. Please don't do business with them as they'll find the tiniest fine print in the contract and the lack of lighting outside at night just to keep your whole deposit with the "excessive cleaning" line. It's too bad. For sure I know now where I won't be having my three girls weddings in the future. The final note here is that they seem to pay $700 per hour to clean confetti from the parking lot so please do apply for a cleaning confetti job there. read more

I can not rave enough about this establishment. My wedding was PERFECT. Over the last few months, Angela has been so helpful, kind and patient with all my questions and needs. She was truly a rockstar. And the day of my wedding, Zach was the best and the most calming coordinator I could have asked for. They both made me feel valued, special and went out of their way to make sure I never felt like a burden. All of the vendors we used through Walters were top notch. Our Dj, Kendra, was fantastic! She kept the partying moving on track all night long. The food was awesome! The dessert bar was empty by the end of the night so I suppose it was also delicious lol. Our flowers were beautiful.If you're a bride who is easily stressed and really wants someone else to put all the puzzle pieces together for you, you will not find better than Aristide Flower Mound. I was very happy with the Aristide location in Flower Mound. I met with Emily during my first visit in July when I was deciding on location and I was lucky enough to work with her through the entire process. She was easy to work with the entire process, quick to respond to e-mails and supportive/encouraging of all my ideas. Overall I found the venue to be very accommodating and helpful on the day of our wedding. The site was beautiful, both in the chapel area, reception room and outdoors. I really liked their property and would recommend their location to anyone looking for a reasonably priced option. read more

They made sure that our wedding day went smoothly, by checking in with us throughout the day. The staff provided us with multiple options from reception decor, to food to alcohol, and even recommended vendors to us. The staff was very professional, and very helpful throughout the process. The venue itself is absolutely gorgeous and the bridal room is stunning. The prices are not outrageous, but definitely not worth what we got. They are extremely strict and have extra fees out the butt. I would not have been stressed day of, if it wasn't for the included "coordinator" we were required to have. Etheny was the only one who the staff referred to when I called with a question about something they made us get, yet she had no idea the answer either!! They made us do a 45 day out detail meeting in order to have all the names and number of people helping or hired for the day of. This would have been useful if Etheny referred to her list, however she stormed in mine and my husbands room about five times to ask me where people were when she had their numbers?!? I legit would not have known anyone was late or anything wasn't perfect if Etheny hadn't stressed me out. She did the exact opposite of what a coordinator is for. Unless they get new staff I highly recommend spending your money elsewhere. I started this review giving three stars, but after remember everything we were put through I cannot give it more than two for the looks of the place, honestly. read more

i thought the food here was disgusting. it was embarrassing they served this to guests. the price makes it feel like you are getting something of quality for your guests. Everyone was complaining that you only got 3 bites of salad. there wasn't even anything to use as a filler so people were leaving hungry looking for other places to eat. the wedding coordinator in my opinion was inexperienced for the price you are paying and needed correcting multiple times. they stop the ac during the ceremony but don't have the forethought to cool it way down beforehand leaving everyone sweating and melting. it looks like a funeral home with blingy chandeliers. I don't get the fake mantle either. multiple people commented it was like a funeral home only every funeral home I've been to has more parking than this place. grounds were also not cleaned up. tons of leaves from last fall and it's summer. in my opinion, do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. i think it's worth putting the effort in to find your own caters and bakery and dj so you don't drop a ton of money and end up with guests commenting that they felt like they got cafeteria food in a funeral home. I even walked past one table and heard them saying their college dorm cafeteria was better. read more

Lovely venue but HORRID staff. The wedding coordinator argued with everyone from my vendors to my family! My wedding coordinator refused to lift a finger the whole day of my wedding and had an attitude the whole time. She argued with my DJ and myself SECONDS before I walked down the isle! She completely sabotaged my entrance and acted like she had never worked the sound system in her life! She turned away my pregnant guests as they were getting seconds from the buffet and refused to let my vendors eat! I will be contacting corporate and voicing my complaints. If you are looking for a venue that caters to it's bride/groom, and family, I would look somewhere else. They are severely lacking in professionalism and quality service. read more
