When it came time for my own wedding, there was truly no one else we could have imagined trusting with the most important and special moments of our lives. As someone who had never really pictured what my own wedding day would look like, and who struggles with analysis paralysis and decision-making, Katie was an absolute godsend. She was endlessly patient and helped me uncover what I actually wanted, even when I couldn't put it into words. I also struggle to visualize how individual concepts will come together, and Katie and her team went above and beyond to make everything tangible, from beautiful design boards to taking me in person to touch fabrics, see layouts, and experience table designs firsthand. And somehow, a hotel ballroom was transformed into an actual wonderland, with carpeting installed and every detail elevated so completely that it felt like we had stepped into an entirely different world. And they did not stop at the transformation of the ballroom. There were fireworks, a drone show, a personalized Pixar animation film, a surprise flash mob, light up Bollywood dancers, laser light shows, two incredible bands, the most fun DJ, endless eats and treats, a perfume bar, a custom donut wall, a personalized putt putt course, a bangle bazaar, a haiku station, a vintage photobooth, custom hotel key cards, color smoke bombs, AND SO MUCH MORE. Every detail was completely unexpected, incredibly thoughtful, and so uniquely us. It was truly unparalleled and one of a kind. Most importantly, Katie and her team beautifully and seamlessly blended our two cultures into an incredible four-day Indian-American wedding celebration. There were red flags before the wedding- Athena stood us up on venue walk thru appointment, had to…read morecontact assistant only because Athena would not respond on their communication platform for weeks, had to remind Athena to schedule meetings to go over details a week before the wedding. During the wedding, Athena came up to bride and groom on 3 occasions to tell us issues going on. Didn't correct the musician, who played the wrong first song. I was 20 minutes late to my ceremony because Athena left me without any means of communication in the bridal suite and told me to wait (had to send a venue staff to ask her what was the hold up). Didn't ensure the photographer pulled us for golden hour photos. She left early saying "I'm not getting paid to clean" to another vendor and left her assistant who didn't ensure all vendors finished before the venue closed, which cost us our security deposit. Her contract ensures the bride and groom will not lose deposit for this specific situation (vendors leaving on time). She lost rental items from another vendor, which almost cost me that deposit as well but during our honeymoon was able to locate the items and mail them to the vendor. She refused to reimburse the security deposit from having vendors leave late from the venue and alleged she left early because she had allergies. Then had her husband email me that if I tried to request my security deposit he would go after vendors they felt were at fault for not leaving on time. All my vendors worked incredibly hard, I wouldn't want them to lose income knowing they did their best. I post my review because I would hate for another bride to have this experience. You hire a coordinator to avoid all this stress on an important and expensive day. This coordinator truly disappointed us. Coalesce Creations is not worth the cost and added stress.

I told her this was the first chance we had to get in and she proceed to lecture me about how they were there til 6 everyday. After my lecture I handed them $40 and they didn't have any change. She actually asked me to wait while she ran to the shop next door to beg for change. REALLY!?!? I will never step in their business again and wouldn't recommend them for anything. I hate to see empty stores in the shops of highland village but this place can't go out of business quick enough. If you need custom invitations go to Party City, way more options and better prices.
