The entire staff was cool and collective throughout each month and made our budget include the things that were important to us. The wedding was beautiful, the food delicious, and the memories are lasting. I was asked for months if I was stressing out and getting nervous about the wedding planning process, but I honestly answered that I felt fine because of my wedding planner. The company helped with out invitations (both physical and electronic), wedding favors, flowers, makeup artist, hair stylist, photographer, decorations, baker, and caterer. They completely decorated everything, as well as took care of the take-down. My fiancé, mother, and I (sometimes my girlfriends also) would meet monthly with the event planners to make decisions towards the wedding. They already had the timeline established for when each decision needed to be made. One month they would have cakes from different bakers ready for us, another time was the exact dishes we requested from different caters, sometimes is was decoration examples, while another time it was to practice my hair and makeup with the stylist. There are important elements to a wedding, and I am grateful that we chose to include this event planning company as one of them.

I attended my design meeting only to find out that our 2 design person was replaced. Information about our wedding we had to go all over it again because she needed to be caught up. We booked because this was an all inclusive service venue for less stress. Bit the lack of communication is the complete opposite. The venue itself is run down, look at the pictures. We've asked a handful of times when the building would get a power wash and it's been almost a year since we first viewed the venue and it's even worst looking. We watch other people's wedding videos at this venue and you can see it and in the photos. The bathrooms are outdated and all of the chairs have red marks on white cushions which looks horrible. Landscaping in the front need some TLC.

During the cocktail hour not enough plates or serving utensils to serve the food. You ate the food with your fingers-- no forks. The bread was cold and right out of a plastic bag!! Not fresh. The salad was ok. The food in the other hand was horrible!! It was three shrimps with Hollandaise sauce and a small piece of dried steak. To top it off the food was COLD not even warm. It was very unappetizing and did not eat. If your water glass was empty, they did not refill it. No water pitcher at the table. Unfortunately, I'm not used to that kind of service when going to a wedding. I went to the bathroom and guess what . . . No toilet paper in the women's bathroom.

From the first moment I spoke with Haley about getting everything started until the day that they showed on the property to put up lights, it was perfect. The lighting crew was so friendly and quick I couldn't believe how fast they put up the lights. The owner of our venue loved the lighting so much she was asking us how much they might charge her to keep all of the equipment lol! Will update with photos once I have some from the photographer.

After seeing the photos that Aven Willow does, I knew that was exactly what I needed. I spoke with the photographer and owner, Jodie Jolly, and she explained the process. They do hair and makeup in her Downtown McKinney studio, which is in a cool, historic building. She recommended I bring 3 outfits and we discussed the color scheme. On the day of photos, I was really nervous. Jodie made me feel so relaxed and guided me through the poses and facial expressions. She played fun music in the background to set the mood and I felt so much more comfortable as we got to the second half of shooting. She takes her time, makes sure she got the right shots to get your message & speak to your brand. She scheduled the reveal for the following week. We met at her studio and she showed me the slideshow of the pictures. I was blown away at how fabulous they turned out. Before I went in, I was only going to buy 3 pictures, but I feel in love with too many and bought 10! This was such a fantastic experience and I would absolutely do it again the next time I need new branding photos. Aven Willow exceeded my expectations and I highly recommend you trying them out!

When my two friends and I signed up for her 40 over 40 experience we had high hopes for a once in a lifetime experience. And in September 2023 the session was just that. We happily paid a hefty sum for a large Portrait package with a lovely storage box included. After waiting months while being told that we were waiting on the box, we asked for the portraits and to receive the box when she received delivery of her shipment. I went by her studio and picked up the portraits. The portraits I was given appeared to be the ones that she had displayed at our "Reveal " saying they were samples when we made our selections. After many inquiries followed by excuses, she sent an email with a link to all of the original digital files, saying compensation for our patience. To date, we still have not received the box and my messages to her business, and to her personally, have been ignored. I feel obligated now to let others know that Jodie is a talented photographer with great sales skills who will take a hefty sum from your pocketbook and not deliver on promises. Oh, and that 40 over 40 book and the party to celebrate she promised? Beware! That never happens either. It's been 10 months now and sadly she continues to promote her business in the same fashion and is now ghosting us. Thank you Jodie Signed Three Very Disappointed Senior Ladies

When I communicated a certain genre to DJ Mike, he would laugh at me and say, "I get it, I get it. You like country". Yes, we are country music fans. I had numerous conversations via phone calls and emails about what I had expected for my wedding. I communicated everything very clearly, with timelines, song times, certain songs, ect. I even typed up the songs with times of when to start them. I had a certain song I wanted played right after we said "I do", and Mike was fully aware of what was expected before, during and after my ceremony. We were absolutely humiliated when after we said "I do", our song did not play so we had to awkwardly walk down the isle to no music. DJ Mike sprinted outside the doors after we had already made it down the isle. We were so embarrassed, that I went into my bridal suite and cried. I had also communicated what was expected during the reception. I told him requests were allowed. I had multiple friend and family members request songs that he would not play. I had also requested prior to the day, certain songs to be played, that he did not play. He played several songs multiple times, including an annoying Miley Cyrus song that people were sick of hearing. We heard that specific song 3 times that night. You only get married once (for some anyways), and you want that special night to be perfect and go a specific way, especially when you've been planning and creating that evening for years. I wouldn't wish the humiliation that I felt yesterday on anybody. For as long as we're alive, we will never forget the embarrassment we felt up there at that altar. DJ Mike took our special moment from us and we will never get it back. It was completely ruined because of him.

You can even brig in your own materials. She also really prepares you at the rehearsal. She did a fantastic job during the ceremony and since she was so detailed in the rehearsal, we knew exactly what to do and when. She is a great speaker and really infused the ceremony with meaning. It was so much better than the civil ceremony we would have gotten from a Justice of the Peace. We're not religious and Ari was a great option for a meaningful ceremony without religion. I don't even think my religious family noticed there was no mention of God. All they said was how beautiful the ceremony was and how touching it was. Of course, there are also plenty of options with more religious ceremonies if that's what you want. We highly recommend her!

The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, and they went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect for our event. The space itself was spacious enough to comfortably accommodate all of our guests. The amenities with plenty of seating, tables, dancing floor. This facility was maintained by young group and they took all inputs on safety, bathrooms neatness, arranging according to our needs, providing appetizers on time and yummy dinner spread. Overall, I highly recommend this party hall for any special event.
