There are definite delineations between ceremony space and reception hall, which is lacking in a lot of the venues we've been guests at recently. Quite beautiful for a couple seeking a classic wedding. Not really my thing, but it fit our friends perfectly and everyone had a great time.

We booked because this was an all inclusive service venue for less stress. Bit the lack of communication is the complete opposite. The venue itself is run down, look at the pictures. We've asked a handful of times when the building would get a power wash and it's been almost a year since we first viewed the venue and it's even worst looking. We watch other people's wedding videos at this venue and you can see it and in the photos. The bathrooms are outdated and all of the chairs have red marks on white cushions which looks horrible. Landscaping in the front need some TLC.

Other observations were that the food was not ready and attendees had to wait , some of the soft drinks such as Ginger ale ran out, and the bartender had to get someone to acquire more The bartender was great also! Many of our dishes were not clean at our table and had to be replaced. As I understand it, the colors that were promised in the flowers, and table arrangements, and the bouquets were not the colors of the wedding, and had to be remade at the last minute the morning of the wedding! Very stressful For the bride! I do not feel these details were unreasonable, and the wedding coordinator should have taken care of these details at minimum.

(We weren't late but close. I'm guessing otherwise it wouldn't have been crowded.) The beams and chandelier were beautiful! We were towards the back and viewing the wedding party was almost impossible. It would have been helpful if they were elevated a bit. We waited outside as they transformed the barn to reception ready. It wasn't fast but the weather was great and enjoyed a beautiful view and sunset. We left before the reception so I can't review the service.

Whether it was meeting in person, texting, or chatting over the phone, David was always there to answer the many questions that arose during our extensive wedding planning. He was so easy to work with, exceptionally thorough with information, and even provided great suggestions along the way. Additionally, Irene's Bakery--the bakery the venue partners with--was fantastic! The cake was delicious and delivered right on time. We also worked with DJ Ivan, who did an amazing job! He executed our timeline perfectly and played exactly the songs I had requested. On the day of the wedding, our reception went incredibly smoothly. The room was set up exactly according to the floor plan we had discussed. There was plenty of staff on hand, ensuring that both the head table and every guest table were well taken care of. I was nervous about this time frame due to private parties and other weddings. With this date, and other special events happening at Royal Affairs, I was concerned with setup time as I, mother of the bride, was the setup team. David worked with the schedule of other parties, as well as our availability, and made it possible for us to setup before the wedding rehearsal. We got the much-needed rehearsal, and my daughter got a first look at the decorated venue. She was very VERY happy. The day of the event, everything was perfect when we walked in. Bella Cavalli is an absolutely stunning venue...130 acres with lakeside views, tree groves,…read moremeadows, animal farm and a carriage house thoughtfully constructed specifically for wedding celebrations. Once we toured this beautiful estate, we did not have eyes for any other venue....it was that magical! But beyond the beauty of the property, it was Joni and her staff at Bella Cavalli that really made the difference. Whereas many of the other venues we toured were restrictive and only allowed their own caterers or wedding planners (or they assessed exorbitant up- charges), Joni, allowed us, in most cases, to choose our own vendors (security and bar vendors were understandably the exception). This was important to us because ours was a multi-day Hindu/Gujarati wedding with four separate and unique events and we needed specialized vendors. The BC team had a can do attitude when it came to requests unique to our celebrations. The actual days of the celebrations were glorious. We had a party of close to 200 guests, but even so, the venue had an intimate vibe. The first night all the garage doors were open and the food and bar was served on the patio. Some of the highlights beyond the ceremonies and the food, were the family dances performed inside the carriage house, the alpaca photo opportunities and the petting zoo, especially for all the kids in attendance. Mother nature gave us many blessings of lots of rain the second day so last minute adjustments were made to move the wedding underneath the patio and the food for the reception indoors. Honestly it seemed to add an even more festive feel; it was two days filled with fun laughter, joy and lots of love. But man oh man once you're out in the country, it's worth it. The views were just so gorgeous. The wedding party was glowing with golden hour hues! We had a lovely time celebrating our friend's wedding. The ceremony was tucked out about 300 yards away from the reception hall. Girlies, were your chunky heels for these outdoor weddings! It felt so intimate with beautiful greenery just surrounding us and the breeze flowing perfectly. Highly recommend for smaller weddings!
