The newly married couple arrived from the UK a few days in advance of the party, but both of them came down with Covid. Needless to say, we had to cancel the party, and all of us were devastated! But Vaibhav from the Glitz was great and gave us a credit for the full amount that could be used if we rebooked the party within a year. Nearly a year later, we finally pulled off the event. The venue was excellent, and everything went smoothly thanks to the help from The Glitz and Vaibhav! I would definitely book another event at the Glitz.

I think it's fair to assume When you rent a venue, you expect to show up with it being clean and ready to use. There was stuff all of the floors. The kitchen was a mess. The bathrooms were dirty. Decorations and balloons still up from night before. No paper towels in kitchen or bathrooms, no trash bags in bathroom. Our tables were not set up and table cloths not out or chairs out. We had to wait for him to set up tables so we could start decorating. Some of the tablecloths had stains on them, probably from night before. The chargers they used were dirty, we had to wash food off several of them. To top it off, he was rude. Not apologizing or trying to make things right. He was supposed to come back and mop before guests showed up cause the floors were disgusting and decided to show up Late when our guests were there and tried to mop....we told him to forget it... He isn't moping around guest. Not one time Did he apologize or make things right. He would be mad or fling his hands. He even showed the venue to 2 or 3 People while we were trying to decorate. Making them promises of stuff he would do, that he did not do for us. When you rent a venue, you expect to walk in and it be clean and ready for you to use. That was definitely not the case!

We planned our wedding from out of state and it was so much less stressful to work with a venue that manages many of the details (flatware, catering coordination, table decor, etc.). We opted to use them for floral and they were beautiful! Loved repurposing the aisle decor to tables too. Having a day of coordinator allowed me to enjoy my wedding day rather than work it! The staff is experienced and reliable. They have a process that streamlines planning and work with several vendors that will give you a special price and know the venue/team well enough to have a very smooth experience. The staff was kind and very attentive! The venue itself was cute. The main space was huge, and can easily fit a large corporate event/wedding/private event. There is also a large outside area for outdoor ceremonies or parties. Outside of the main building, there is a pond in between the building and the parking lot. There were lots of critters and frogs screaming in my ear during the evening when the sun set.

Amanda & Elizabeth were amazing at helping us plan the perfect wedding. They answered all of our questions in a timely fashion and provided us with amazing suggestions for vendors. After Yes provided us with helpful spreadsheets for staying on budget and on track to getting everything done before the big day. The true measure of how helpful they are is that my husband can not stop raving about our wedding, saying how it was better than he expected and how he felt each vendor was more than worth what we paid them, all of which I attribute to After Yes. I found One Love Events on Yelp while searching for wedding coordinators. And, let me just say, if you are getting married you NEED a "day of" wedding coordinator. My husband was skeptical about hiring a wedding coordinator, but even he was completely onboard after meeting with Delina and Whitney. Who's going to put out your decorations while you're getting your hair/makeup done with bridal party? Who is going to queue the music or musicians? Who is going to sit at the venue for hours and receive all the vendors, because someone has to be there (flowers, caterers, cake, etc)? If you're like me, your family and friends are going to be in your wedding and logistically you need them in other places. Also, who is going to pack up all of your gifts, decorations, food/cake at the end of the night and put it in someone's car for you? Believe me, you don't want your friends and family stuck with these tasks when they could be enjoying your wedding with you. One Love Event staff handled all of this us! I admit I was a little nervous contacting One Love Events at first because they did not have any "Yelp recommended" reviews. But, let me just say, they were completely legit and professional. Delina and Whitney have been doing this for years. We hired them just for "day of" wedding coordinator services, but we got more than just "day of" services. We had pre-wedding meetings, calls/texts, and just a lot of communication before the wedding. I think they sent us vendor recommendations and a checklist too. Plus, Delina helped run the rehearsal the night before the wedding and collected all the wedding decorations. Also, if you're worried a wedding coordinator will cost a fortune, you're not alone. My husband and I paid for everything ourselves and wanted the most for our money. I called another 5 Star rated wedding coordinator company here on Yelp and I think they quoted like $3,000-$5,000 for only one staff member. Crazy. One Love showed up with at least 3 people that I saw and One Love was way, way, way more affordable than $3,000 for one coordinator. They also let you pay in installments and I was able to pay everything online. To sum it up, be a wise bride or groom and book them immediately!

We had about 40 people and could have had more. We were able to serve food and drinks and also had a slide show of our moms life. They also had a microphone with a speaker so that people could talk about their memories with our mom and we could play our mom's favorite songs.
