The place itself is nice. They have machines to purchase cards and add points. The layout of the place is sensible and easy to maneuver around. So why the two stars? Well, there were 5 of us who first decided to do the obstacle course. Nobody was manning that station so my sister went to go find someone. Once we were all strapped up and ready. We started the different courses. Not even 5 minutes had gone by and the guy working there said times up. I thought it was a joke. We paid $30 dollars for 5 people. The guy working there told us we get only 7 minutes. 7?!? That's ridiculous. Main Event gave us an hour last time. It's not like it was busy. They had absolutely no people in line. Next, we went to laser tag. Our group this time was 8 people. Half the group had never played laser tag. When we entered the laser tag area, the girl working there told us to grab a vest. While we were strapping it on, she told one of the guys in our group that she hates this job and wants to do something else. I get it...this is probably a minimum paying job but you still have to be professional. She gave absolutely no instructions or guidance. The news people didn't even know they were suppose to power up. Pinstack has potential but right now it's a bunch of high school students who don't know what they're doing. The management needs to do some revamping with its employees and game rules. We were considering this place for a birthday party of 30 but we will not be doing it here. read more

The staff and atmosphere is great. The food, however, is pricey and not that great. I'd stick with traditional food, such as a burger or chicken strips, and avoid their more "unique" foods, such as the brisket potato wedges or anything with mac and cheese. We had my granddaughter party there yesterday. The bowling was fun. Once the hosted came and I only need children In the room no adults. So i had like 4 toddlers in that room unsupervised. Wow parents where like what's going on why ? We ask waitress and was told the kids needed to eat first. Ok but I saw a party next room got called. Same in time we did and every one when adults with kids. To me that was very strange not to mention the negligence of kids being unsupervised the parents in my group were very unpleasant. I wanted to talk to manager never showed up. Not to mention the food was not wrong. And here's another issue I saw a man in the women's restroom peeking in and out. So I did get someone attention and told them about man. Again very very unorganized. The young man that hosted was kind though. So I do have concerns about the kids toddlers being in room without adult or parents supervision and why did they tell us no adults. And I never heard of such thing. To me that is negligent. So let me tell you about bathrooms! There is 1, only 1, baby changing table, and it's in a family bathroom...... That I stood outside for 20 minutes, while no one was in it, and management refused to open. So I was forced to change my baby on the bathroom sink counter top, while multiple women continued to ask me why I was changing my poopy baby at the sink. I let them know there was no baby changing station accessible, and management refused to open the only bathroom available to us. Mind you, the next opportunity to change my baby, another lady was occupying the family bathroom, by herself for over 20 minutes and again I was forced to change my baby on the bathroom sink again. This location looks very nice inside and out but the looks are a bit deceiving. We visited Pinstack to celebrate a birthday in the family last night. We brought a cake not thinking it would be a big deal since many other places allow a cake to be served after dinner. As soon as we entered we asked about dining and was immediately told in a direct and a slightly rude way by not one but TWO staff members that anytime a cake is brought to Pinstack that it is automatically considered a party and should be booked with the Events Department. We were a bit taken back since we just had just mentioned that we have never been to Pinstack before and wanted to see what it was all about. By this time other family members had already arrived and the kids were excited to play games later in the evening so we decided to still give this place a try since everyone was already there and asked for a table for 10. We were then told that since we have a party of 10 that we will automatically charged an 18% gratuity which we expected but then was told that if any more people were to join us there would be a second 18% charge because we brought in cake. We haven't even sat down yet and you're already nickel and diming us!?! We were really annoyed but really tried not to let these ladies ruin our night. We got our table and then I went to get the rest of family in the arcade area. As we all passed by the hostess stand to enter the dining room the same lady then proceeded to tell two family members in the same rude manner and tone that with a group of 10 we will not be allowed to do separate checks. Seriously!?! This rude lady has no business being a hostess or greeter and should be given a different job that doesn't entail speaking to any guests!! It's one thing to let us know what the supposed policies are and be sympathetic to those who don't know but to be rude not only to me and the birthday celebrant and then to other family members FORGET IT! By then we all wanted to leave but we chose to stay ONLY because of our kids. We ordered the following for dinner: 2 pizzas, garlic parmesan fries, the honey sriracha chicken stir fry and the party sampler. The food was good but the garlic parmesan fries was very bland and had no flavor. Here is my rating for 2 stars: -1 star was for a look and cleanliness of the building, the attractions Pinstack offers and the food. The kids really enjoyed the ropes course, bumper cars and the laser tag attractions. -1 star was for the service Jaylon provided while dining. He was nice, attentive and checked on us frequently. After the experience we had with the hostess we definitely appreciated the food service and made sure to mention to him that he may be the nicest person we've met there. Jaylon was our saving grace for the night. A BIG THANK YOU TO JAYLON!! Based on our experience I think we'll stick to going to Bowlmor in Addison, Round1 in Grapevine and any of the Main Event locations anytime we want to go bowling or get together with family. At least there we know they are family friendly and won't nickel and dime us as we walk in the door. Our hard earned money will be spent elsewhere. read more

Ray was the bomb as far as customer service goes. He helped us out a few times with some of the games that needed technical expertise. Had my young niece and nephew and daughter. Worst service. We did not have a server for 20 minutes and we literally had to look for people around us to beg for service, is it charity? Do we have to beg you guys and ask for service??Our lane wasn't working and we had to complain so many times, we had 2 lanes and a party of 12. On 2/14/19 my 3 friends, my husband and I walked into the LasColinas location approx 11:15pm for a few drinks. We were directed to the back bar as it was almost closing time. As we approached the back bar (there was a middle aged black male with dreads in his head) we sat down and waited to be acknowledged. After approx 15-25 minutes of waiting with not one word from "him" he finally said "ladies what can I get for y'all" we had to ask him for a menu, he then became impatient and said I'll just get these people since they know what they want and I'll comeback. We waited another 10 minutes then ordered. When we Finally got our drinks and mozzarella sticks, we had to scoff it down because they were closing. I paid $43.81 (plus a cash tip) and my friends paid roughly $10-$25 plus tip for this terrible service. So we thought "maybe he was having a bad day, so we tried again last week but didn't make it to the back bar because the horrible service began at the front counter. I refuse to pay to be treated like this. We work in customer service and our visit at your location was not an effortless experience nor was it pleasant. I will definitely be voicing my opinion on ALL social media outlets. read more

This was my first time going here and I was severely disappointed. It was $35-45 during the weekend for 1 hour on one lane. Everything was overpriced. Also the lane wasn't calibrated hardly at all. One person knocked down 8 pins and it gave them 0 for that bowl. This happened easily 9 times throughout the game. Also the balls got stuck multiple times. If you're paying $35/hour to bowl you at least expect it to go smoothly. I will never return. read more

I will give this place another shot just because they are newly open and the staff aren't fully trained yet. But I went there with some friend's on a sat night and these are the issues we had. We wanted 1-lane for 4-people for 2-hours. They would only rent to us for 1hr. When our hour was almost up I went to the front counter to extend for an hour. No one was in line at that moment. The young woman at the podium had her back to me and was casually talking with a coworker, that coworker was facing me. They didn't stop their conversation for 1-2 minutes, which feels like a lot longer when you're being ignored. Finally she turns around and I ask to extend our lane for a second hour. She says there is a 30 min wait for lanes. I explain again that we are already on a lane and want to continue for an hour. She says we can't do that. I ask why we couldn't get 2 hrs in the first place and then not extend an hour. She then asks someone else and they say this time they'll let us extend an hour. I don't bowl a lot, but I think I bowl enough to say that isn't right. The other issue we had was when we were first assigned a lane. Someone was already in our lane. Still not sure if they were in the wrong lane or if the lane was double booked. Ask the staff for help and they tell us to use the next lane over. We go back and someone is in that lane too. Go back to staff and they tell us to use next lane over. We finally got a lane and kept it. As I said, this place is new, training isn't up to par yet. But they need to assign someone as a supervisor who can resolve minor problems. At $34/hr for a lane, I don't like wasting time on this crap. read more

Was my first time here and I didn't go to play games but I did go for some food. I sat at the bar and it took 5 minutes for someone to approach me and talk to me. The whole 5 minutes that I was sitting at the bar these two bartenders were just standing around and they walked past me more than once and didn't say a word. Finally I asked the manager for a menu and he was so nice his name was Donnel, he made sure I was okay and I didn't need anything , he check up on me but my own server never said a word to me. There was this other server his name was Brandon and even though I was not his customer he made sure I didn't need anything, checked up on me. He did more than my actual server. I had the crispy brisket macaroni and cheese wrap and it was good , brisket was not dry but it tasted more like cheese that brisket but overall it was delicious. I recommend if you go to pin-stacks and go sit at the bar request for Brandon or Donnel, they were fantastic. read more

A fantastic meal awaits for those who have the time. The games, the ropes course, the bumper cars, and of course the bowling is clean with lots of bright lights, and overall very enticing to not-go-back-to work. My daughter enjoyed a veggie burger with some super tasty sweet potato fries while I consumed a sumptuous Texas Smokehouse Burger. They've only been open 3 weeks, so they're only going to get faster and better to ensure that they're the "hottest" new venue in the area. read more

Went with another couple this past Saturday evening. I realize it is peak time, but the service was not good at all in the bowling area. We ate dinner in the restaurant, and the service was good. Food was pricey- but decent. However, once we moved to the bowling area, it was near impossible to get drinks. One of our party kept having to go up to the bar himself to get our drinks which delays bowling. When you are paying 34.00 an hour to bowl, the last thing you want is a delay! They could take some notes from the place where you play golf in the Colony regarding service while you play. I am hoping they get the kinks worked out. read more

We had a wonderful time at Pinstack. We arrived at the same time as a corporate group, and even though the few employees on duty were super busy, the service was exceptional. Brandon, our bartender must have been wearing skates, because he was swiftly moving from the main area to VIP area non-stop, attending to each customer's request in a calm, cheerful manner while offering drink suggestions if you were unsure on what to have. (I'll have to try his "Smash" concoction next time, as it looked enticing.) We had a slight glitch in getting started on our bowling round, and James was right there to fix things. He stayed with us for next frame to make sure everything was good. Then, he would check back on us several times throughout the afternoon to make sure everything was OK. Went to Pinstack for some bowling on a Sunday Funday afternoon. Ended up in the VIP room so we didn't have to wait. It didn't feel so 'VIP'. Biggest complaint was the awful awful 80's music and when we asked the waiter if we could request a different mix of music he was told by the manager 'if we'd like to rent the entire VIP section then we could have control of the music'. The way it was communicated was pretty smug and sarcastic because obviously we weren't about to rent the entire section over bad music. Three stars are because it is a nice facility and the food and drinks were good (but expensive, of course) read more

Awesome place!! We use to go to dave and Busters everytime we came to the dallas area but tonight we tried out Pinstack and loved it!! We have two boys ages 3 and 6 and there were numerous things for them to do. We ate at the restaurant and the food was wonderful also. The manager josh cake by our table to check and make sure everything was good which ofcourse it was but he gave us 2 hours of free play so my boys loved that. Then when we went to check out at the prize area James was super nice and very helpful!! Loved this place and I'll for sure be back, thanks guys for making our night extra special!! read more

Pin Stack is a wonderful restraunt and arcade. The food was excellent, I had the buffalo chicken wrap. And the service was excellent. Jennifer, the manager, made sure we had an awesome first there. The games were awesome, especially lazer tag and rock climbing. When we left, Jennifer wished us a good bye and hoped for us to come back.
