I've been to Puttshack's Downtown Atlanta location before, so I know this concept can be a lot of fun when it's managed properly. Unfortunately, this location was the exact opposite experience. The place was extremely overcrowded, and the pace of play was terrible. Nearly every hole had a backup, and by the end of the round it felt like we were watching putt-putt rather than playing it. What really stands out is that this doesn't seem like a one-time issue. After reading other reviews, I found plenty of people describing the same problems: overcrowding, constant bottlenecks, and long waits between shots. When the same complaint keeps appearing, it's no longer an issue of bad luck, it's clearly a management problem. What's most frustrating is that I've seen Puttshack get this right. The Downtown Atlanta location was busy too, but groups kept moving and the course flowed smoothly. Here, it felt like management kept packing more people into the venue without any concern for the actual guest experience, I mean the whole course moved like rush-hour traffic. Another important note would be the attentiveness of the staff. Even on a Saturday, at 3pm mind you, the lower bar was empty when we walked in, and the staff of three at the upper bar seemed to have issues managing a line consisting of two. I nearly waited 5 minutes for even an acknowledgement, which is not the kind of experience you'd expect BEFORE the evening rush. The technology and courses themselves are great, but that's hard to appreciate when you're spending most of your time waiting for the group ahead of you. For the price, I expected a lot better. Until they address the overcrowding, I'd recommend looking elsewhere. Life is too short to spend it waiting in line between putts. read more

I expect a refund. Four grown adults met this evening for a night of put put. We are totally ok with trying something new but with the exception of you wait staff, the night was completely ruined by incompetence. You couldn't fin our reservation, then you placed us with another family in our private suite (not a suite), and then in a rude way tried to kick that family out of their "not private" suite. Finally convinced the host to move us next door only for the game to not work. For $75 plus tax we barely got to play and actually had no idea what we were doing...probably because the employees training is lacking. This screams management issues. Always a fun time at puttshack! I love the different courses available. I recommend doing the all you can Putt or at least 2 games because the 9 hole goes by quickly and you'll probably want to keep going. The holes are challenging and have different themes so its not just a normal putt putt place. They even have a happy hour now that you can order from at the bar. The service is always great and it gets very busy on the weekends and nights so if possible try to go earlier so you have time for each hole and not feeling rushed. They just started a whole new drink menu at the start of this month. I tried the pineapple moscow mule (the ginger and pineapple syrup was a nice touch but could use more hibiscus flavor). I also tried the G.O.A.T. margarita and the drink loves up to its name. It was the drink I really enjoyed as I played golf. I tried all the courses - Ruby, sapphire and emerald (tried emerald for the first time today) and I really enjoyed the upstairs. We had such a great time. We went two days in a row while we were visiting Dallas. We were able to do the Ruby and Sapphire courses. One of them was very crowded and that allowed us to switch. It's a huge location! There are two bars, one when you first walk in and one near the golf courses. We have a private bay and we're able to sit and order food/ drinks. The server did forget to bring the drinks, but the food was fresh and accurate. My family enjoyed themselves. By far the best putt putt you'll ever meet. They have several courses and they get weirder as you go but in a good way. We had so much fun just playing a regular 9 holes and boy was it competitive. You actually have to think for some of the holes because you may be doing trivia or trying to knock it in a basketball hoop. We played two mini golf games that lasted 8 mins and it felt like 20 mins had passed. To play mini golf it requires two people minimum to play. At some point, he went to go eat so I ended up creating a fake account so I could play twice. There were different types of "mini golf" games. I wouldnt call this mini golf to bh because there wasnt a hole you put a golf ball in. It was more like games at the fair and you use a play putter to hit a ball to a target. Each course is 9 holes and they have different themes. There's a trivia one that requires you to answer by putting into one of two holes. You can putt in any order as long as the last one if hole number 9, which can help if there is a bottleneck at a particular hole. Some Puttshacks have the music too loud, but it wasn't too bad here. I came here last weekend, and I must say that for someone who always thought that miniature golf was just okay. I had a great time playing miniature golf here. The mini golf games are fun, interesting, and there are lots of ways to get points and get bonus points as well. They even have a "True or False" game at one of the games. I liked the Beer Pong game, which is as it sounds! I recommend making reservations if you're coming during the busy times. They serve food and drinks here and have TVs at the full-service bar as well. You can come here just to eat, play golf, or do both. It's that kind of setup. Pros: -the decor and holes are SO cute -the balls keep track of your score automatically so no need for the small papers and pencils no one can ever use -bar area is HUGE and super cute and aesthetic Cons: -layout of the places is not ideal for busy nights it gets CROWDED -they automatically assign you to a route you don't get to choose - so if you come multiple times (if you even like it) you risk doing the same route over and over again -servers: not ONCE was our group approached to order drinks and we were here for over 1.5 hours. They were more interested in the group of 4 girls behind us with short mini dresses. -the 2nd hole on the amber area is ridiculously STUPID. It's a 2 part trivia hole that takes WAY too long. The line was so stupidly long it was a waste of time. It's apparent they want the line standing right beside the kitchen to order food or drinks for long periods of time. As we sat there, we waited for the 2 bartenders to greet us or take our order. After waiting for a while, we never got acknowledged and felt upset about it. We went down to the 1st level with the restaurant and asked to speak with a supervisor. We ended up sitting at that bar and was serviced by Trey who was very sweet and attentive. The supervisor came and listened to my concern. I am not sure how serious it will be taken that her employees are not helping customers, but I was told it would be addressed. Two different bars and even a section to eat food. Lots of cool interactive putting courses. Service: All the waiters I encountered were not friendly at all. Anytime I asked them for assistance or to order they were not kind or accommodating.
