This spot has one of the GREATEST happy hour specials! The drink prices coincide with the hour so 3 PM = $3, 4 PM = $4, etc! The drinks are delicious and cost efficient especially if you're hosting an event! We were celebrating a friends birthday with bowling and drinks. We got a couple of appetizers to share which seemed very on par for bar food. Nothing super special in terms of appetizers but definitely good for a snack! So this was my first time at this location I've been to the Houston one and loved it . Happy hour is from 3-6 with drinks going up a dollar every hour. It's one of the best happy hour deals in town. $3,$4, and $5 dollar drinks. Only downside is the food isn't on happy hour menu just the drinks. I did get the Lynchburg sour and tropical spritz . This place feels like a watered-down version of what it once was. It now works best for a child's daytime birthday party, and that's about the only positive I can offer. A slightly less terrifying Chucky Cheese but no pizza. And don't be misled, there isn't bowling either. They repeatedly claimed to be "fully booked" when we called, yet when we arrived there were multiple open lanes. Instead of seating us in any of the open areas, they placed us in the single most crowded section and even acted unsure whether they could accommodate us--while half the alley sat empty on the other side. The seating layout is unreasonably cramped. Two tables were wedged between booths, leaving almost no way to get to the lane without squeezing past other players. The lights over our lane were malfunctioning and flashing nonstop, and the people in the next lane were openly vaping. When we asked to move, we were met with a sarcastic offer to "turn off the disco ball," as though the issue was us being difficult rather than the environment being inappropriate. The food used to be genuinely great--good enough that we would skip dinner and eat here instead. That caliber is gone. The current menu is pretzels, flavorless frozen hamburger patties, rubbery mystery meatballs (my son spit his out), and cotton candy. Even the cookies were burned, and when we asked for more because there were five of us not 3, we were told we had eaten the last three. So no cookies for us I guess. The lanes themselves are short and narrow, and the balls feel clunky. It isn't real bowling. The waiter called it "boutique bowling"; I call it a waste of time and money. Hugely overpriced and massively disappointing. Even the new arcade is kind of blah. When we were going to the car someone had vomited all over the parking lot and right in front of my door to get in the car. I guess they didn't like it either. Whatever they once had that made us return year after year is gone. We remember when they opened! Sadly, it's time to move on. read more

Sooo my sonshines and I were in Texas for the holidays this year and we celebrated my youngest son's 16th Birthday with a family night of Bowling. We checked this place out because it was conveniently located. It was really nice inside, pretty clean, we ordered food and definitely no complaints there everything was delicious. Our waitress was very nice. It had gotten quite busy so she wasn't available often I think she was the only one working that night because we didn't see anyone else really to help with our orders. We did see folks helping her bring out our orders but as far as changes or orders or adding orders no one but her. Plus it was pretty pricey to bowl I believe my brother mentioned $80 per hour or something. He ended up paying. I tried to split it with him but he refused. From the initial visit, the countless emails and the phone calls to the end of the planned 40th surprise birthday party. It was truly exceptional! The staff were absolutely wonderful. They were accommodating in every aspect of this surprise. No one may think that bar / bowling establishment food "at least I was" thinking the food was going to be just acceptable. No! Small team from work came here to wrap up the year with a happy hour. The service was fine, no complaints there however for how saturated venues like this are becoming you begin to notice the things that aren't up to par. Food wasn't great I got sick the next day from it and it really wasn't anything to write home about even if that happened. The bowling sensors were just incorrect they would give or take away random pins just because the sensors weren't calibrated correctly. Really wasn't blown away and don't think I would mark this as a preference the next time we're looking for a fun activity. read more

Wow this place is a joke when it comes to service and the food? Nothing to write home about but will still cost the same as an overpriced entree at any Dallas spot. This place is an absolute SKIP. The employees here seem annoyed to be asked to do anything. It takes 20-30 minutes to be acknowledged and god forbid they remember your order correctly despite taking it on an IPad. Pretty sure the guy who served us was high (try eye drops my dude). We ordered a Margherita Pizza and he brought out a margarita 20 minutes later.... Epic Failure when none of us had even ordered alcohol. Would say it's an honest mistake and happens but he came and took the order and reviewed it and repeated it back to us correctly.... This place has worst ambience than a funeral home. AVOID if you can and just head to your local main event. They'll actually serve you within a reasonable time unlike the jokers who run this establishment. read more

Overall this place was nice! We had trouble with bowling alleys though because there were several issues with balls getting stuck and we had to switch lanes. The food was great! We got a bunch of appetizers. Try the crab balls and chicken meatballs. So good! The artichoke dip was ok and too thick. The pizza was good and a big portion. The drinks were pretty good. Tried basically all the cocktails. If you like bourbon, the old fashioned is a better choice as its spirit forward compared to the others. Ambience is nice! Twenty of my colleagues and I had a team building session at Bowl & Barrel this past Tuesday 6/7/23. The rental shoes were organized ahead of time (highly recommend). The food/apps we ordered were fantastic. But the icing on the cake was the service we got from Kade. WOW! We had 21 thirsty people and the beverages were flowing. I don't think anyone's glass was empty at any point. Kade was SO attentive... and accurate! So friendly and always delivering with a smile. You just don't get better service. The Dog Pile was 6 sausage-type hotdogs with toasted buns, was really good. I was full after 3 hotdogs and took the rest home. We arrived early Sunday afternoon to no greeting as we walked in, sat at a table in the bar area for definitely close to 10 minutes before someone finally came over. The rest of our party finally arrived and we went to our lane. Of the 20ish lanes in the place, about 8 were currently being used. Of those 9, 4 were for a kids party and they put us - 4 fifty-something adults with no kids right next to the kids party. We were hoping for a chill bowling experience, so we asked if we could be moved and were denied. Bummer. Service was fine, workers seem less than attentive or concerned with the experience they deliver. Another Dallas venue charging unnecessarily high prices with little to back the experience. This place could be such a cool spot if they hired workers to match the experience and ambiance they built it to deliver. read more

Hands down my new favorite happy hour in Dallas! Great location. Great vibes. We did not bowl but I'm definitely going to bowl next time! Usually I don't expect much for a happy hour food but you HAVE to get the grilled green chile cheese bites. BOMB. Their pizza was huge and also the pretzel, so great portion sizes!
