This is the four cheese pizza...hummm...where is the cheese.

Bowling is fun. Love the kids bowling deal before 4pm. Food, however...that's another story. The pizza tastes like school cafeteria pizza. Bacon shrimp tastes like bacon, but good bacon. Go for the bowling, but don't expect much of the food.

So this was my first time at this location I've been to the Houston one and loved it . Happy hour is from 3-6 with drinks going up a dollar every hour. It's one of the best happy hour deals in town. $3,$4, and $5 dollar drinks. Only downside is the food isn't on happy hour menu just the drinks. I did get the Lynchburg sour and tropical spritz . Both drinks were good and the bartender was attentive. I'll come back again

They have a really good happy hour, the food is good, and their daytime bowling is reasonably priced before 4pm on weekdays.

Sooo my sonshines and I were in Texas for the holidays this year and we celebrated my youngest son's 16th Birthday with a family night of Bowling. We checked this place out because it was conveniently located. It was really nice inside, pretty clean, we ordered food and definitely no complaints there everything was delicious. Our waitress was very nice. It had gotten quite busy so she wasn't available often I think she was the only one working that night because we didn't see anyone else really to help with our orders. We did see folks helping her bring out our orders but as far as changes or orders or adding orders no one but her. Plus it was pretty pricey to bowl I believe my brother mentioned $80 per hour or something. He ended up paying. I tried to split it with him but he refused. All in all we all definitely enjoyed ourselves. It was just a bit pricey but definitely a memorable experience in a good way of course.

This is our go to bowling spot! Great for a night out for friends and absolutely perfect for family time! Great Happy Hour and definitely a Sunday Funday Spot with the family. Can't beat $10 per kid (includes a drink, slice of pizza and show rental). Can't forget to mention, they upgraded the game room! If Ruby Q is available, you should ask for him to be your server! We came here for a company, post conference social hour. The service was excellent and friendly. They offered us margaritas beer on the tap and other alcoholic drinks, which are all well appreciated and received, The finger Food was awesome and it comprised of pizzas, hotdogs, empanadas l, nachos and crabcakes l. Net net, we had a great time and would be happy to come back again sometime in the near future

Thanks to the reservation, we were seated right away and immediately greeted by our server, who was honestly amazing from start to finish. She was friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience feel effortless. We kicked things off with drinks. I started with an espresso martini, and it was really, really good--smooth, balanced, and exactly what I was hoping for. For my second drink, I tried the smoked Old Fashioned from their holiday menu. It was good, but I'll be honest, it was extremely strong. Like, really strong. In general, their drinks definitely pack a punch, so that's something to keep in mind when ordering. For my entrée, I ordered the Mediterranean smoked chicken salad, and wow. It was hands down one of the best salads I've ever had in my life. Everything was perfectly balanced, flavorful, and satisfying, and it didn't feel like a "boring" salad at all. It was so good that I already know I'll be coming back specifically for that dish, though I'm also curious to try more of the menu next time. Overall, this place absolutely lived up to the recommendation. Great service, strong drinks, and standout food. I'll definitely be back.

The layout feels open and comfortable, and the overall vibe is upbeat without being overwhelming. That said, service on arrival could use some attention. There was a noticeable gap at the host stand with several guests waiting and no staff in sight, which set a slightly off first impression. Once seated, though, the experience improved. Ally at the bar stood out right away. Friendly, attentive, and welcoming, she helped turn the visit around and made the experience feel more personal. She did come back to check in later, which was appreciated and helped round out the service. On the food and drink side, they carry Manhattan Project Beer Company's Half-Life, which is a big win and pairs exceptionally well with the French dip. The sandwich itself is flavorful and satisfying. The fries were a bit on the softer side, so if you prefer them crispy, I'd definitely recommend asking for them extra crispy when ordering. Overall, Thirsty Lion has a lot going for it. Great atmosphere, solid menu, and standout staff like Ally. With a little more consistency at the front of house, this place easily moves from good to great.

We had a reservation, which is recommended because the restaurant was very busy on a Saturday night in May. We opted to sit on the patio because the weather was gorgeous. I am not sure if the patio is climate controlled in the summer or not. But on that night we were there, the weather was mild so it was very pleasant. They have happy hour on Saturdays so I started with an IPA on tap and the wife had a Prosecco, also for happy hour prices. This is a tapas restaurant so I will try to remember all that we had. Manchego cheese board: excellent. The crisps and jam were perfect with the cheese. Potato torilla: excellent. The flavors melded very well and it was very tasty. It's filling so keep that in mind. Ceviche de jalapeno: excellent. Not too spicy, the shrimp and seafood was fresh with no fishy smell. The plantains were cooked perfectly, not greasy. Brisket on crostini: excellent. Forget the name but they are a winner. Brisket is good quality and the flavors come together nicely. Chicken skewer: excellent. They smartly use chicken thighs so the meat is juicy and tender. Tuna tartare: good. It actually was my least favorite. The quality was very good but it did not have much flavor. I needed some heat, some acid, something to give it a kick. We were absolutely stuffed and did not try dessert. Our server Marcellus was excellent. Very helpful and pleasant throughout. He never disappeared for too long. Overall, we had a great meal and will undoubtedly return here again.

After requesting a water to go, we were unexpectedly accused by the bartender, Jake, of placing an alcoholic beverage into a to-go cup. The accusation was embarrassing, unnecessary, and made even more uncomfortable by the fact that it was made publicly and without cause. To be fair, the manager on staff handled our complaint regarding Jake professionally and with care, which we truly appreciated. However, the situation itself left a lasting negative impression. As professionals in the criminal law and medical fields, we value professionalism, discretion, and respectful communication. Being wrongly accused in that manner was disappointing and frankly humiliating. Because of this experience, we will not be returning anytime soon, despite what had otherwise been an enjoyable evening.

We came here on a whim. A last-minute brunch decision. Nothing planned. No expectations. And what…read morefollowed was a core memory in three courses and a complimentary Bloody Mary shot accompanied by the cutest green olive. The moment we walked in, it felt like home, but not in the "kick off your shoes" way. No, this was the "you're safe here, baby" kind of home. The vibe? Cozy. Elevated. Like Restoration Hardware met someone emotionally stable. Elliott was our server and an absolute delight. Joseph was the manager, casually spreading joy like Oprah with a tray of Bloody Mary shots. Amber... now let me pause here, because this woman deserves a paragraph of her own. Amber isn't just a GM. She's the kind of soul you meet once and never forget. When I asked for her to come to our table just to pay her a compliment, we both practically teared up. She received it with open arms, no ego, no deflection, just pure, gracious presence. I was mid-sentence and suddenly I had that Creed song stuck in my head. You know the one. "With arms wide open..." That's the kind of energy she brought to the entire restaurant. Amber made every person in that room feel like they mattered. Not because it's her job, but because it's who she is. She's fresh off earning her master's in hospitality, and if that degree came with a crown, she's wearing it. The Porch doesn't just run smoothly. It runs on Amber energy. But let's talk about the moment I saw God. Cornbread Eggs Benedict: Not crab. Not salmon. Corn. Bread. And not just any cornbread. The softest, fluffiest, most cuttable cloud of golden glory I've ever had the pleasure of annihilating with a fork. A fork, not a steak knife. Do you understand how rare that is? Normally I'm out here sawing through an English muffin like I'm in a lumberjack competition. This? Melted like butter. Tasted like a hug. 12/10. Incredible. And then, as if the eggs benny enlightenment wasn't enough, Joseph reappears with a tray of free Bloody Mary shots for the entire restaurant. With olives. For everyone. The joy? Immediate. The energy? Electric. The crowd? Unified. I watched a grandmother at the next table raise her glass like the queen she is. I nearly cried. This wasn't service. This was a masterclass in human connection. Restaurants can be transactional. Robotic. This was the opposite. This was care, intention, soul. My high school principal once said: "The difference between ordinary and extraordinary is that little bit of extra." The Porch brought extra, bagged it, garnished it, and served it on a tray. Final thought: If you're not brunching here, I'm concerned. If you are? I'll raise my Bloody Mary shot to you. And Amber, if you ever run for mayor, you've already got my vote. I'll run your campaign and show up in a custom t-shirt.

Highlights: The fish & chips were so good I briefly considered converting to Catholicism just so I could thank God properly. The bathroom graffiti is poetic. "Roses are red, violets are blue, I came for a piss and met half the crew." - actual quote. Then you've got Hannah, who's basically the pub's chaos coordinator. She's got blonde hair that could guide ships in a fog and a laugh that echoes like a banshee having a great time. Don't sleep on Wes - He'll nod once, slide you your drink, and if you're lucky, mutter something profound like "Life's short, drink good stout." Then he disappears to polish glasses like he's auditioning for a monastery. Absolute mystery man, 10/10 enigma. And rounding out the crew is Paige, the wildcard. She's got stories that start with "Back in then..." and end with police chases, lost sheep, and at least one exploding still. She'll flirt with your grandma, roast your ex in three sentences or less. There is also this Asian guy that looks like a confused troll with blonde hair. He lives up to the saying once you go Asian it's amasian. Can't forget the blonde girl that's going through the Dallas legacy transition of bottle service to real estate. Shes as good at serving as she is selling real estate. These people run the bar like a well-oiled dysfunctional family. They banter with each other louder than the jukebox, remember birthdays you forgot you told them, and have an unspoken code: if you're having a rough night, they'll slide you a free shot and pretend it was a mistake. If you're being a gobshite, they'll roast you into next week without missing a pour.
