Service - I've been to the ICC twice for Tech Conferences, once for Ticketstock, and once for a Lego convention. For the tech conferences, the staff were nice. They handle food and drink, logistics, and clean up. Very helpful, no issues here. 1 Star. Facility - The ICC is very flexible. There are 4 floors which allow multiple conferences to be held at one time. There's free Wi-Fi at a decent speed, and the ballrooms are big enough to easily accommodate up to 1000 people. Tech and Business conferences are held on the 3rd and 4th floors, where the rooms are modular and can be set up to showcase goods. The first floor is a big, open space. Both my nonbusiness conferences (Ticketstock and Lego Convention) were held in this space. There is an adjacent covered parking garage, and the bathrooms were super clean. Overall, a very good space for any type of convention. 2 Stars. Will I Return? - Yes. I live in Irving, so if there is a convention held at the ICC that interests me, I will attend. For food and caffeine, the convenience here is hard to beat. The dining downstairs in the AC Lounge is great for an easy dinner or drink after a long work day, but since you're in the Star - there's obviously loads of great bites nearby. I also appreciate that there's a Starbucks right on-site downstairs! I'm lactose sensitive and really particular about my coffee so Starbucks is a must with their soy options. Was greeted promptly and was checked in even faster. They were sold out so I couldn't have a top floor room. But that's okay, I was on two. Where one of the most packed hotel gyms I've ever been to is. This thing is huge. They have a jump box, kettle bells, an amazing dumbbell collection and cables. Cardio equipment and even a pelaton. My room? Smaller than the alofts. But I like small rooms so that's okay. Had a rack, shower and toilet. All I could ever need. But what blew me away? The softness and quality of their sheets. I never in all my hotel reviews mention sheets. But these were so soft and cozy here I am talking about them. I could have laid in that bed all day from the sheets alone. Bravo there. It's safe to say this hotel has made me reconsider staying and trying more Tru's.

within 25-30 minutes of unwinding for the night, bed bugs starting crawling towards my wife…read more i notified the hotel staff that bed bugs were in my suite, i showed a photo & video with time stamps and i requested a refund. i was told a manager would get back to me. the hotel manager contacted me, and right away i was told the bed sheets and head board didn't match any of the hotel's rooms, i was accused of having ill intent and questionable motives, essentially calling me a liar. any chance i got to speak i was abruptly cut off and i was rudely refused my refund. my hotel stay was covered through my employer, and i wouldn't have financially gained or benefited from the refund but it's the principle. and to be called a liar with ill intent is beyond me. to top off this disturbing ordeal, upon arrival a man that seemed to be homeless was hacking up a lung, smoking marijuana. keep in mind i bring my wife and babies to accompany my stays while traveling for work. as someone who FREQUENTLY travels for work and chooses to stay in marriott locations, this was a huge disappointment to say the least. do not waste your money, I DO NOT RECOMMEND !!
