I'm not one to leave reviews good or bad but this was an outright terrible experience. Visited on Saturday night for a date night. Had a lane reservation in the vip area. Got our shoes and went to our lane. Dirty plates, half eaten food left all over place and smelled terrible. Started bowling thinking they're just behind with the high volume of guest. Requested a server to order drinks and food but no one showed. Took them 45 mins to realize what was going on and a team of 5 to clean the area finally but they didn't even wipe down our table. No one acknowledged us or even gave a simple apology for sending us to a dirty area. The only positive thing I can say is after it was cleaned, a server came over and she was very nice with a great attitude. read more

We came here on a Thursday night with a group of 6 and had to wait an hour to get a lane. Even though I called ahead and ask how hard it is to get one and was told there should be no wait during the week. We had a lot of fun bowling even though our machine stopped working a few minutes and had to be fixed but they gave us extra time. They also have games, bumper cars, rock climbing in there too. The facilities are nice so I'd recommend it, just be aware the wait can be long even on a weekday. read more

We had a pretty horrible experience at the Pinstack in Allen and so I wasnt too optimistic about this place but figured we'd give it a try. I can say I was pleasantly surprised. While waiting for the rest of the family to get there we grabbed some apps in the dining area. Our server, Jaron, was helpful and very attentive. Food and drinks came out quickly, and he stopped by a few times to see if we needed anything. Donnell, the manager (?) also checked in whenever he walked past our table. Compare this to our experience in Allen where we had to wait for over 15 minutes for someone to help us, after having to ask twice! After that we bowled and had a great time. Our server by the lanes, Wendy, was just as great. She checked on us the entire time we were there and was very friendly. Great place to hang out, enjoy some food and have fun. This place is unpleasantly crowded on the weekend. I came to an event that was catered. The rooms had tight seating but I was quiet in there. The food was very bland nothing delicious. The servers took our drink orders but it took too long get them. All areas were very crowded. I had my two kids aged 2& 4 and they were too little to enjoy bumpers. The rope zone looks big in pictures but it's small and not really for adults mostly for kids. Kids can climb too but it's very lame. All the arcade machines were full you pretty much had to wait for what you wanted to play. If you were looking forward to the bumper cars, spoiler alert the area is super small It's a small room and there's a line out the door for it. It's hard to get around the arcade too because it's so crowded and the machines are too close to each other. I had a guy accidentally end up with his hand in my hair. read more

We have been here about 8 times now and I can't believe it has taken this long to write a review. The service is always excellent but this visit was beyond excellent! We visted the restaurant, bowling, and gaming areas. 3 of the employees stood out and there for has prompted this review. We received the BEST service/friendliness from Donnell, Nicholas, and Jocelyn!!!! We were celebrating my son's birthday and we had the best night because of them! The food was amazing! Drinks were great as well! I love that the drink/food menu has so much variety to make everyone in the "group" happy as well. Now, I had been here before, and never had any issues until, last Saturday, 10/03/2020. The service was less than satisfactory, and yet, we were charged gratuity because we had a party of 10. My family and I tip well, but to be charged gratuity and you want a tip is insulting, when your service stunk. The first time I came here it was with my family and we had great service in the restaurant and had fun bowling. However, yesterday I went w my 2 friends and it was nothing like the first time. I ordered the burger that had fried Mac n cheese, and it had no flavor, and the meat wasn't tasty or fresh. My friends both ordered the chicken Alfredo, the chicken tasted old and was tough. I woke up at 6am this morning feeling sick to my stomach long story short, the food came out of both ends so obviously the food was NO GOOD. My friends and I decided on Pinstack for a going away party because Las Colinas was centrally located to all of us, and I thought it would be a great place for a big group to hang out. I called several days before the party (party = 8-10 people) to reserve two VIP lanes for two hours. A woman answered the phone, and asked when I wanted to reserve the lanes. I told her from 6:30-8:30 on a Tuesday. "Oh, you don't need to reserve lanes then. The reservations are mainly for weekends when we get really busy, but you'll be fine just showing up that day." Great! Tuesday rolls around, and we all show up at Pinstack. I walked to the back to get our lanes situated. "Uh, there are no lanes open right now." "Sorry?" "We are fully booked for the next hour and a half." "Are you serious? I called several days ago and the woman told me I didn't have to have a reservation on a Tuesday evening." "Well, whoever told you that was wrong." Cool. Well, I went ahead and put us on the wait list, and we all went into the restaurant to eat & drink. Food was typical bar food. Our waiter was very nice though. An hour and a half passes, and I still don't have word that our lanes are ready. I went to the back again, and he told us we were next. "The other party will be done in 15 minutes. So like, 25-30 minutes and you can bowl." At this point, it would have been 2.5 hours since we arrived. Three people in our group ended up leaving, and the rest of us stayed and ended up only bowling for 30 minutes. This was supposed to be a going away party for me, but I was so grumpy the entire time. So!!!!! We got here at 8:25 pm, and had our name down for bowling. Checked in, and the girl up front told us that it'll be about 10 mins and someone would call our name and we'll go straight to the back. 30 mins, 45 mins, and 1 hour later, we went up front and were told it'll be 30 more mins. 30 mins past, we checked again, it's 3 hrs wait because they put us in line for food instead of bowl. On the other side, while waited, we wanted to stay in the bar area, which had 3 empty tables but dirty. Took 15 mins and many waves for someone to finally come clean of them so we can settled in. The drinks were watered down or tasted so bad. We tried 4 drinks, none of them were good: holiday mule, dark and stormy, apple cider marg, and slow low old fashioned. My bf's glass was dirty! First time coming here. I see It off the freeway all the time and every time I say "ooo I want to go there". Well finally I had my chance since I was invited for a friends birthday. Overall this place is like main event but for adults. I didn't see much children here. They have about 2/3 full service bars throughout the place. They offer bowling, bumper cars, laser tag, arcade games, and much more. The food here is amazing as well. I had the Mac and cheese burger which was good but over hyped. We also had the chicken and waffles. Those were really good but small. I wouldn't eat that as your main meal. We also had the fried Mac and cheese which was also very tasty. The bartenders here are very friendly as well. My favorite drink would have to be the dirty apple martini made with crown apple. I'm a whiskey girl so I had about 2 or 3 of these. Overall everything is fairly priced. You can get 100points on a play card for 20 bucks and each game is about 4-6 points. The laser tag and bumper cars require points to play and it's about 20-25 points to play each of those. Bowling cost actual money. I'm not sure about their price points since we did not bowl. read more

I was going to give two stars but I changed it to one the more I thought about it. It only gets one star because I like how the place looks but other than that I can't give more. Service service service is what can make or break a business and the service here broke it for me. Poor unorganized wait staff made for a very frustrating experience we ordered drinks it took forever to get them then when they finally come the server disappeared until we had to ask for someone to wait on us. Then another server came we assumed he was in the middle of a shift change but he took our order and poof disappeared again we ordered nachos not hard to make for a business but somehow took 30 minutes to get I went to cancel the order and was told by the manager they can't cancel orders WTF I have the right not to pay for something if I don't want it. He offered to check on the order I told him we were ready to leave and the most they said they could do was pack it in a to go box. This was about to be a battle but I was not feeling a fight luckily we were with friends who started another game of bowling and the nachos came promptly after my complaint oh ya and still no server either. Long story short we finish our last game still no server when we flag down another server she tells us that the other two servers who we had just got off of work WTF if we had known that we would have walked out the place. My team chose this place to have a company team outing, and I think it was a great choice. You have a range of things to do from video games, bowling, rock climbing and bumper cars.. Oh and a bar! May have been the widest range that I've seen thus far. Our server (Kelly) was awesome and made sure we had everything that we needed, from food to drinks. If you decide to do the games, they give you a card with an allotted amount of tokens on it (paid for of course) and to play a game you just slide your card. A lot better then the gold tokens as if you go back on a later date you can just whip out the card. Con: It was SO damn cold in there. I enjoyed myself but couldn't wait to get out because it was freezing. I understand this is done for when you're bowling and get the muscles moving but sheesh. Got there about 620, nobody at the front desk, somebody from the office came out and told us to go to the back for bowling, the girl at the desk told us the waiting was 45 mins and we decided to wait, in the meantime we went to the bar to try to get drinks but nobody assisted us. After 53 mins we went to check our status and the girl ( with the blue hair) just told us " we are waiting for a lane to open " we asked how much longer but she replied the same"we are waiting for a lane to open", she was more busy texting whoever she was texting on her phone. Tonight we decided to do dinner and movie. Dinner at Pinstack. Mistake. I ordered a cup of tomato bisque soup and received a cup of marinara. Would have been best to say they were out. The manager attempted to assist but the damage was done. We were not charged for the soup. But I realllllly had a taste for tomato bisque soup. It is my favorite soup. I also ordered a turkey burger and sweet potato fries and they were just as bad. The fries were not hot. Should I say more? The onion was dry and old; the butter lettuce was not crisp as were the tomato and pickle. They appeared to have been sitting in the fridge too long. The turkey patty was just barely warm. My husband ordered as a starter the flatbread veggie bruschetta and got a veggie pizza. The bread was not flat. SMH. The saving grace was the mahi mahi meal he ordered. It was very tasty. We love the facility. Bowling is fun, girls love the ropes course and rock climbing. The service is horrendous. There is an abundance of staff, yet all of them are on their phones, and if you can somehow manage to get their attention, they seem extremely bothered by your request for services. It typically takes an act of god to get someone to man the ropes course. If you have to place a food order, good luck. I'd recommend calling it in an hour ahead of time and then maybe you eat before you have to leave. I'm not one post many reviews, but I couldn't help but give people a heads up on the service levels here. Nice place...just poor culture and work ethics. read more

Tonight was our first time at Pinstack to celebrate my son's birthday. I had no clue what to expect. Let me just start off by saying,the staff was absolutely amazing! The worst service it takes 1.5 hour to get draft beer and when you complain to manager she looks at you and say and now what do you need .. no apologies no remorse for her lack of management skill. I highly suggest upgrading your event package to platinum package which ensured our employees and their family were treated like VIPs! Everyone has been raving about the great event we put on.
