Is it too much to ask for good customer service? We purchased a lane online, which we thought was pretty steep for a weekday afternoon ($112 for 90 minutes - up to 6 bowlers), but didn't know there was a price difference between paying online and in person. When we got there we saw the sign for $10/hr and asked if we could cancel our online reservation and pay in person to get this pricing. The cashier called over his manager who in few words said no and walked away. Even if he were unable to refund our online reservation, he could have given us a game credit or food credit for the difference or even apologize that they didn't post their special in-person deal online. At best this just average. That said, let's face it, the draw are the activities. Bowling was a blast and the teen enjoyed that for awhile and then off to the arcade. As far as the food you have two options. There is sit down bar and dining with several TVs if the adults prefer to sit and let the kids run wild. 2nd option, rent a lane and get lane side service. The menu is typical bar food. We order the Deluxe platter for six (4 adults 2 teens) and we didn't finish it. Our server Brianna was spot on. Did a great job. So, all in all, this is a great family venue. My dropping of a fourth star is the cost. Lanes in peak time are pricey per hour ($36/hr). If the kids want to hit the arcade you will pay handsomely. It isn't a dollar to dollar equation. You buy points. That keeps the kids from knowing exactly how expensive the games are. Poor guy was running all over and thanked me profusely for being patient...not his fault but poor workforce planning by management. The two people at the front desk (yes, two compared to the one poor soul waiting on tables!) literally blocked off the entrance to the restaurant to keep people out. Did they not realize if they block people out, they're also blocking people in?? My son walked behind the host stand, and they reprimanded him like he was stupid. Not only did he see that my purse was unattended and too it to safety, but he came around to our AIL sponsored event area and asked us how we were doing and if we needed assistance on a regular enough basis to be helpful without being oppressive. I got the Spiller package, which came with 1 hr of bowling, 2 hours of unlimited video games, choice of any 4 attractions, 30 player card points, unlimited drinks and your choice of pizza with mozzarella sticks or chicken tenders and fries. Let me just say the kids had the best time. According to my son and the party-goers, this was the best party ever! That's all that really mattered to me. There's so much for the children to do here. However, I don't understand the 12% service fee they charge. I was told only $7 would actually go to the hostesses so I left her an additional tip. The establishment was extremely clean, updated, lots of things to do other than just bowling. Chris, at the front desk, told us there was an hour waitlist (no reservations available, only walk ins) so we happily added our name to the list and grabbed a few drinks at the bar. Prior to confirming the # of hrs we'd be bowling, we asked Chris if we could add more time to our lanes if we decided to extend. He says "yes". Once we started bowling, we realized we wanted to extend for 30 more mins. I went to the front desk to ask for an extension and Chris told us they were unable to extend our time. His customer service needs improvement. He also asked our family the same question multiple times which was extremely irritating and made the process go by so much slower. On the other hand, Alexi & Ethan are AMAZING. They took great care of us. Ethan took great care of us and Alexi was extremely attentive. The arcade games were fun. Some were out of order and took up our credits but a gentleman gave our credits back and even let us play a complimentary game. I wish I remembered his name because he was super nice. read more

I would never recommend this place. We spent over $200 on the arcade game credits alone and half of their arcade games were non-functional and taking credit and not allowing us to play the games. I'm not over exaggerating when I say that I had to go up to the desk to try to get the credit back and I even had to fight with the staff who were very unaccommodating and very unwilling to give me the credits back that I paid for that their games had stolen. The lady in the picture argued with me that she had all of the games on her system and she could see what I played- when I got stern with her she logged onto a different device and refreshed and low and behold all of the stuff that I said I played showed up and it was true. They have a faulty system and they take advantage of customers in order to make more money. There was only one associate that was willing to credit me and help me and did not try to argue with me and cheat me out of money. This is a horrible establishment that is unethical and not honest and they purposely do this I saw and witnessed it myself today. And the only reason why I got my credit back is because there were several other parents that were pissed off and we all jumped on one employee at one time asking them why they weren't issuing any refunds. It shouldn't take three pairs of parents screaming about the same game to get you guys to do your job OR to be ethical. We did not have a budget today we came prepared to spend however much money we wanted to spend- and spent over $200. Just imagine if you were a parent that had been saving up and you wanted to do special something for your child and you took them to this establishment and their games stole all of your child's credits and they got to play nothing. We came in on a Sunday evening. Of course it was busy which is to be expected. Service and food was in point, loved the servers. My poor review is sadly because we didn't have anywhere to change our kids! my son is 2 and friends daughter is 18mo. I went in the women's restroom and found that they did not have a changing table. A woman was changing their newborn baby on the counter where the sinks were. I needed to change my son so I went in the family restroom. The lanes are nice decent selection of available balls. They have laser tag & bumper cars didn't really make it to those though. Came here with my family before the holidays to bowl. The place is under staffed considering it is right before the holidays. Waited at the bar for probably 10 minuets then left after not being greeted. Went to a lane where we were told a server would take our order. Had to flag down a server. Then waited 15-20 minutes for 4 drinks because "they only had one bartender for the bowling alley". With each round we waited 20-30 between drinks because it had gotten busier. The food came with out any napkins or silverware, and we still haven't gotten our drinks. The whole place was dirty and still had left over plates and glasses from who knows how long ago. I'm not sure if it is because it is busy or if this is how the service always is but I won't come back for food and drinks again. So far if bowling and games is all you want to do it's a cool idea but service here is not there at all. read more

The WORST service in the restaurant area of the establishment.... Here's the funny part... I had this review in draft since 2019. It is 2023 now. About a month ago, I returned to Pinstack only to be disappointed yet again. The service was awful! At one point, our bowling ball got stuck between the bumper and the gutter. I pushed the button for assistance. When the lady came to answer my call, she asked me "do you want me to go get it?" My reply: "as opposed to what?". She was very inattentive and seemed to not even want to work there. The food was sub-par. We ordered some combo appetizer thing. I was definitely not expecting five star quality food from an entertainment establishment such as this but, can the food at least be edible? Considering the fact that I do still have a couple of cards for Pinstack (provided to me after my complaints to management), I will return. Hopefully my next experience is better but, honestly, I'm not very optimistic given their record so far. I initially gave a 1 star rating but, due to the manager's effort to make it better by giving us a credit, I changed it to 2. The games and activities were fun and entertaining for both adults and children. We came to get dinner and then have a bit of fun afterwards. When I originally looked on Yelp at the menu for Pin Stacks the food looked very appetizing. But the food was in face very unappetizing. It took at least 15 minutes to get chips and salsa. And the rest of our food all came out at different times. The food was very underwhelming to say the least. My husband even got his Philadelphia cheesesteak sandwich burnt and cold. I want to start off with I have used Yelp in almost a year. This place made me download the app just to write how awful the visit was. First we waited to be seated a good 10 minutes. 5 of us. In the front waiting looking around. We are finally sat at a weird table both. We didn't want to sit there. But the patio was taking. Ok. The host left, and came back got our waters. We waited so long for 5 waters. Our server (Matt) came over to get our order. He doesn't ask if we want an adult beverage or an appetizer. I don't know if he was nervous, new or a just busy with his other table but he didn't come back for 15 minutes. No refill in hand, then when he did he couldn't even remember the lemon. The food Finally comes out. Kids food comes out right. Fires are cold and barely seasoned. Salmon was cooked good. But my smokehouse burger came over with no cheese, bun was cold no lettuce tomatoes or pickles (which I asked for) it comes back out. With fake melted cheese (the cheese peeled off cuz it wasn't melted on the burger) My med well burger clearly turned in a well done unseasoned burger. The bun was cold and honestly awful. Matt dropped off the food and came back once to deliver the check. Speaking of the check we asked for the check when the food got dropped he came back 12 minutes later. No two minute check back? No thought of refills? No asking how is yours burger ? No manager came out and checked. Friday night wasn't busy. You had 2 12 tops on the patio. And 3 tables in the dining room. We had to go. My girls mother was there we was leaving. I paid the bill and left a 20% tip. More because I think some servers just have bad days. The manager though when I called back could care less when I called. I know this isn't how business is done.
