I found this little place on Instagram my daughter list three wanted to try it out. in the words of a three year-old it was very fun. As a parent my only issue was the size of the facility, it is small inside and therefore there are limited toys and it's hard to move around once it's very crowded. Overall, my daughter had fun and that was the most important part. For $20 you get to play for two hours trust me you would be tired. We left after 90 minutes , overall this was a cool spot however, I know other play centers that are closer to my home address which cost the same amount and is way bigger. Overall, I gave this spot a three this was because the facility is very small.

It was much easier for a walk in visit than Color Me Mine in Plano, (which last I visited there you absolutely needed a reservation and they will (very kindly) push you out the door once your reserved time runs out). We wanted to play putt putt and this place in the middle of nowhere appeared while we were testing our new RV life at a RV park in the area. Walking from the parking lot up to the barn was a tree filled magical journey. Once arriving at the old barn, we saw string lights gracing the property. It was so pretty. We weren't sure where to go and went to the barn window. The girl assisting us could have provided more info. She asked us if it was our first time there and we informed her that it was. That ended further feedback from her. We paid for putt putt, played the two fun 9-hole courses, but noticed WHEN WE WERE DRIVING AWAY, they had corn hole. We paid $6 per per person entrance fee but didn't experience everything they had to offer. Also, the putting greens were full of leaves. Being only opened Fri-Sun, a leaf blower to the putt putt course on Friday would have been awesome. We visited on Friday at 7pm. We appreciated the options for beer and cocktails. The livestock in the surrounding properties was so cool to see. (We saw that they are someday trying to do a movie watching experience....sounds amazing)

Young at Art is relocating from Ocean Beach Ca to McKinney Texas. My son attended art classes here…read morebetween 5 and 8th grade and it was absolutely a wonderful experience. Below is a recommendation letter I wrote for the organization for a fund raising application that sums up why the residents of McKinney Texas with young children who love art should check out YOUNG AT ART CHILDREN'S CREATIVE CENTER (www.youngatartmckinney.org). Young at Art provides a very nurturing environment for artisitc experimentation and development. They provide access to various mediums and techniques that go beyond the simple art projects typically found in a children's art class. The staff at the center are very encouraging and caring and help children experiment beyond standard techniques and styles. Additionally, their philosophy and teaching practices encourage the children to participate in their commnity by hosting events that allow the children to participate in the local OB Christmas Parade and in art projets that become part of the community such as window murals and the mural at the OB Gas Station. The art school is a very special place for the students where they can feel at home and accepted, but get to make messes and create masterpieces. I believe that all children benefit from exposure to creating and experiencing art. With the reduction of art classes in public schools, outside community art schools provide an opportunity for children to experience the creativity and joy of art. Young at Art provides this opportunity to the local children of Ocean Beach and Point Loma. They offer scholarships for students who are unable to afford the cost of classes and bring together groups of children who might not otherwise interact. The staff at the school fosters caring and consideration of each child toward their classmates and encourages collaboration amoung the students. If you have a young child who would benefit from attending an art class or camp you should call and talk to Miss Kim the director! I'm sure you will be glad you did.

First, his party was supposed to start at 10:00. We get there at 9:45 to set up, and NO ONE was there and no one is answering the phone. Guests start arriving and still NO ONE is there. One girl finally shows up around 10:15. The AC wasn't on inside (did I mention the party was in July???) and the inflatables were deflated so we had to wait for them to inflate the things. It never cooled off. All the kids were sweating. Drinks weren't cold. It was generally a miserable experience. I was able to negotiate with the manager that all I paid was the deposit (roughly 1/2 what it should have cost) and I still felt ripped off. Luckily, the kids didn't really know what was going on and my son had a good time, but I will NEVER go there again and I will actively tell parents to avoid this place for parties. Instead, go check out The Little Gym on McKinney Ranch Pkwy. They have birthday parties figured out. Oh yeah ... one more thing. The place is not even close to clean. The bathrooms are gross and the party rooms are dim and less than spotless. Ewww.

The worst thing was after being there an hour & a half my friend gets attacked by a roach that is about 3 inches long. You would have to see it to believe it but attacked is the proper word - she had red marks all over her. We leave and ask for a refund and they called the manager and then refused to refund the money. There were about 15 adults there who saw what happened who could have verified what happened. The kids also played arcade games there and half the machines did not work and just ate your money or they did not give the kids their tickets, so again another rip off. The rental company we have used before and had great service. I was however promised free passes to jump n land but they never sent them and would not return my calls, but after this I definitely do not want them. If someone can comment that the Sherman location is not as disgusting we might go there, but as far as McKinney we will NEVER go back.
