We have done this tour for the last two years and he has been the driver. He raised his voice in front of us and children saying we booked our trip on Groupon and that they were not responsible for what their call center had instructed. Only after him raising his voice and degrading us, he left us to stand in the Tom Thumb parking lot without a ride and paid tickets. Horrible customer service.

He said that he would send billing to our school, holding the date and time for us. After a week with no response, I sent another email asking about the billing. After several weeks, neither I nor our Financial Manager had received any billing. I called, but got no answer. I sent another email. I received the following answer the next day. "Sorry for the late reply. I was trying to see if there is any way to squeeze you in on May 17th but my extra help will not be available on that day as we are booked on that day. My appologies, for that and to say sorry we would extend a $50 off for your next reservation." (exact quote) Thankfully, other arrangements could be made, but we had to settle for foam rather than the bigger bubbles. I know the kids will love it, but I am disappointed. I gave one star because TJ was nice, and another because my early planning, busy schedule (plus procrastination), and trusting his word, dulled the urgency to get the transaction completed.

From the very first phone call to actually showing up for our appointment, the entire experience…read morewas wonderful! Katy, our coordinator, was absolutely amazing and made the whole experience feel just as exciting and special as planning a wedding should. She was calm, patient, personable, and answered every single question we had, down to the smallest details. I never felt rushed, and everything was explained so clearly. I especially appreciated having everything printed out and broken down for us, including the easy payment options. It made what can sometimes feel like an overwhelming process feel simple and manageable. The venue itself was BEAUTIFUL, and I loved that the location was all-inclusive. The tour truly gave us everything we could have asked for. But what really stood out to me were the personal touches. Seeing our names already placed on the table setting was such a small detail, but it made the experience feel personal and made it so easy to picture our own wedding there. Although our wedding plans ultimately changed and we won't be moving forward at this time, that does not change how wonderful our experience was. Aristide McKinney was absolutely my first choice, and if my plans ever change in the future, Katy and the Walters Wedding Estates team will be my first call. Thank you, Katy, for making this part of the journey such a beautiful experience. You truly left an impression!

My wedding was in May 2026. The venue itself is beautiful. The staff and vendors were horrible. The…read moreplanning process was so stressful and I cried a lot through it. I felt very uncared for and there was definitely a communication problem. A lot of things are revealed after you sign the contract. For example, you don't get to keep any leftover food from the buffet YOU pay for. Instead, the staff served the smallest portion possible to my guests and then took all the leftovers for themselves. The security guard carried of bags full of our food at the end of the night. The lighting I paid for was forgot about until the very end of the morning got. The DJ "forgot" to do my bouquet and garder toss so we lost that experience. Some of my guests complained about rude staff. For example, my father in law is a double amputee and asked for a glass of water and was told to walk to the bathroom fountain for water. The photographer ruined my husband seeing me when we did our first touch, he turned the camera around and showed him the pic of me standing behind him. My dress experience was a nightmare. The tux they sent my husband was stained up. I was told that my things would be in the exit vehicle by the coordinator, but when I got to my hotel I find out that I don't have my cell phone, purse, wallet, ID, or my change of clothes for our after party. Basically I felt like the bare minimum was given by them the whole time. I thought my wedding planning would be fun but it actually caused me some depression. I forgot to mention Kait forgot about my wedding rehearsal so I had to have it the morning of the wedding! If I could go back, I would not of had my wedding here. Not worth the money and the experience left me feeling regretful. I messaged Kait, my wedding coordinator to let her know of all the disasters that happened when she left my reception and never even got a reply. That shows how much I was cared for. Update: management replied to my Google review saying someone would call me that day. Two days later and still no call. They don't care.

His ability to engage our large and diverse group while making it a fun and memorable experience for all was extremely impressive. Even people who normally roll their eyes at these sorts of activities were participating and having a great time. It didn't matter if you were an experienced chef, a novice, a senior leader, or a newbie on the team....everyone loved it! His location was a bit out-of-the-way for our company and took us about a half hour to drive to (which is not a distance we normally travel for dinners/activities). On the way there, some people were complaining about how far away it was, but THE MOMENT chef tre started talking with everyone there was zero additional mention of the drive (and it wasn't mentioned again a single time after the fact). Thank you chef Tre and team for an amazing night!

He is hilarious! The meal he and the other chefs prepared for us, was also delicious. Free-flowing, fun and laughter! Would definitely recommend this venue for other team building events.

Okay, a preface to my review before you hear about my experience. This place is a historic home in…read morehistoric downtown McKinney. It's absolutely beautiful, and makes amazing pictures for your wedding day. Nothing that I have to say is about how beautiful the location is, or any crazy hidden surprises (okay, maybe one) about the house. Please, look at the photos I posted from my own wedding to see how incredible this place looks and how well it photographs. Now, on to why it got three stars. When we first went (a year before our target wedding date) we were told that there were only 2 weekends left in the month of October and that it would cost x amount of dollars more (I can't remember the exact number) if we wanted an evening wedding because it was "in such high demand". We really loved the place, some friends of ours had been married there, so we swallowed the pill and moved on. Looking back, I really doubt it was that crowded seeing how easily they got us in for a rehearsal practice, I think we got ripped off. During the many many months up to the wedding they were so hard to get a hold of. They never answered their phone and sometimes it took two or three urgent voicemails before they would call us back. The woman who owns it convinced us we would need the extra hour added on to our package and when we didn't even remotely use it (finished earlier than the original time anyway) they wouldn't refund us even though THEY got to go home early because of it. Several things the actual week/day of the wedding. At our rehearsal we noticed that a strand of lights on the gazebo was out, we asked them to fix it and they didn't. The owner's mother is a florist and when we refused to use her because her prices were OUTRAGEOUS they retaliated (or so we believe) by leaving this horribly ugly bright orange/palm leaf floral arrangement on the top of the gazebo. Our colors were brown and blue, and she knew we were getting married later and left it up. It's now in all of our wedding pictures (see the example I posted) and honestly made putting our wedding album together a $@&!# because it was in EVERYTHING. We had to do a bunch of black and white photos because of it. I am still angry about it. As far as the weird surprise goes, their "bride's suite" is behind their laundry room and not very well appointed. We had to rent a hotel room so my party and I could get dressed because honestly, there is no where to sit down in there. Also, laundry room. Also, scary as hell doll-filled room right next to it. Like seriously, this is a lost scene from that weird 80's movie where dolls kill everyone. Also, the food we sampled at the tasting we went to was not what the food tasted like the night of my wedding. They cater their own weddings and the food at the tasting was pretty good, the night of it was disgusting. I really think they used left-over food from the wedding before because it was luke-warm like it had been under a heat lamp and flavorless. Luckily my cake was incredible and made up for it. They really made my wedding difficult to enjoy. They were not there to help us at all, and the women we hired to be "day of wedding helpers" were the only reason my party and I even got down the aisle. They were way overpriced for the terrible level of service they provided, and the terrible catering. Their only saving grace is the beauty of the house and the picturesque aspects of historic downtown McKinney.

The owners, Carol and Cheryl are awesome to work with and are available any time you need them for anything. The home is just beautiful and has a lot of character, which makes it exciting to decorate. We were able to go the night before the wedding and set the venue up. When we arrived after the wedding on Saturday the owners and their crew were busy as bees making sure the guests had everything they needed. The cakes they made were awesome and the food was delicious. The punch is exceptional and the chocolate fountain was a huge hit. The bride and groom were extremely pleased as were all the guests, and this grandmother was smiling. Everything was affordable and worth every penny.

They've got a toddler area that's sectioned off and a little building block area outside of the bounce area for younger kids. Lockers if you want to lock things up or cubbies for shoes and a little cafe with quite a few options. There's also a pretty diverse arcade, so lots to keep your attention. It is VERY loud. Between the constant blowers, kids screaming, and loud music, it's hard to hear announcements. Not great for kids with sensory struggles unless you plan accordingly with ear protection.
