We used this service for transport to and from DFW Airport. The experience was first class. Drivers were on time, good communication, courteous, and friendly. The cars were roomy and comfortable. And clean. The cost is a bit higher than a taxi but the quality of the experience is worth it. I would use them again. I also think that the idea of a hired driver is excellent and would consider using that service in the future. read more

We booked a Christmas light tour through Groupon for tonight. After we booked the driver, we were told the trip was oversold only to be told we then could be on the ride we had originally booked. Our driver, Albert (AJ) was extremely rude. We have done this tour for the last two years and he has been the driver. He raised his voice in front of us and children saying we booked our trip on Groupon and that they were not responsible for what their call center had instructed. Only after him raising his voice and degrading us, he left us to stand in the Tom Thumb parking lot without a ride and paid tickets. Horrible customer service. read more

Our family rented a 10-person limo to celebrate a birthday and we were very satisfied with the company, the driver, and the vehicle. My mother-in-law led the search for an affordable limo and found MPD offered an "all inclusive" price that included tax and tip for the driver. And the price offered by MPD was comparable to other companies -- but without tax and tip. Our driver arrived at 6:55 for our 7pm reservation and certainly follows the "early is on time; on time is late" motto. The limo was filled with tonic and club soda for mixed drinks and loads of bottled water too. Before we left, the driver gave us a good tutorial on the radio and even had a plug-in cord for iPod music. Throughout the night (for our 2 stops), the limo driver was a great communicator about our time frame and when we'd need to be ready for the ride home. As a general rule, however, limos for "10 people" are going to be snug if there are 10 adults in the limo. It is probably worth a few extra bucks to get the "12 person" limo for 10 adults. Overall, a prompt and courteous drive with a nice limo at one of the lowest "all inclusive" prices available. If any event or celebration calls for a limo in the future, we will definetly give MPD a call first. read more

I got a coupon from LivingSocial for a deal for a driver to or from the airport. I bought this because I have an international friend coming in town with a very early flight on Sunday and she just wants a cab so we can enjoy a fun night around town without having to worry about driving the next morning. I called 5 days ago and they said they thought they were booked up but would move some things around and call me back. They never called me back. Three days later I called to inquire again since I had not received a return phone call as promised and they said they were all booked up with nothing to do about it. Well, one minute I'm ready to recommend this service to anyone needing a limo, or just has a fun night planned out on the town.....and the next minute I'm foaming at the mouth ready to write my yelp review. Bachelorette Party. 10 girls. Big ass bus. Fun night in store! But not worth the aftermath.... The bride was able to use a groupon in order to book one of their buses to cart us around for her special night. Ross....our seemingly shy driver...picked us up at 8pm on the dot to begin our ambush on the BOOMING Sunday night Dallas scene. ha We had 2 hours booked on this party mobile......and that's all we intended to use. They had the bus stocked with a bottle of champagne, glasses, and a cool music TV thingy that had us searching for some appropriate Bachelorette party jams....Cindy Lauper anyone? He took us to Cosmo's, where we got out and headed inside for a few drinks. At about 9:30pm, we decided to hop back in the bus and head in the direction of the hotel. We wanted to make sure we got back on time, and used all of our 2 hours......without going over. Here...is where communication somehow failed. After we all got on the bus telling dear ole Ross to head back to the Stoneleigh, the last girl mentioned "drive around until it's time to be back" In other words...if we're back at the hotel by 9:45, please make the block so we can enjoy our full 2 hours in this limo. Instead...we kept looking out the window just see us in a different weird part of town. I believe we crossed over McKinney about 7 times.......numerous girls had to tinkle and one brave soul even climbed into the front seat with dear ole Ross to tell him AGAIN that we would like to be back at the hotel. We finally arrived, said farewell to our trusty driver......mentioned a few thank yous for the extra 25 minutes he gave us...and headed up to continue an epic evening. The next day the brides creidt card was charged with an extra hour. Yup. You guessed it. Ross told them that we asked him to "drive us around".....so he "did as he was instructed" and drove us around for an extra 25-30 minutes...then charged us for a whole extra hour. You can imagine what happened after that.....a lot of back and forth, he said vs. she said, compromise on only charging for another half hour to her card even though WE DID NOT ASK FOR IT. That is, until the sober girl from the evening, along with the girl who instructed Ross to "drive around" stepped forward with exact accounts on what was said. The bride then voiced her concerns and complaints on how she was being taken advantage of.........just to receive one of the most immature, whiny responses form the owner....relieving her of all charges and even canceled her reservation for their services on her wedding day, leaving her without transportation. I can't make this up. They get two stars for the bad ass bus that was provided, and for the champagne inside said bus. It's a shame they acted the way they did, because I would have recommended them for a night on the town........not anymore. read more

So so happy I found this service. I was planning a Bachelorette Party during prom season and it was so hard to find a limo company that was not booked already. When I called Sean he was booked but promised he would call back if my selected date opened up and he did as he said he would and we were booked for a great 10 passenger limo! It only gets better - our driver Richard (Ricky) was FANTASTIC! He arrived at my apartment promptly and called before to ask what side we would prefer to get picked up at. He then gladly took our pictures in front of the limo before helping each one of us into the car and telling us how to work the radio. Ricky drove us around Dallas and out to a few favorite bars on Knox - Henderson and McKinney Avenue, arriving within minutes of calling him to ask to be taken to the next place. The stocked bottled water in the limo was certainly appreciated as well! What a great company My Private Driver is, I would recommend booking them for your next party they won't disappoint and definitely take the extra steps to making your night enjoyable - right down to the pink zebra napkins folded in the champagne glasses! :) :) Perfect for a Bachelorette party! read more

I decided to return my rental car a little early to avoid the hassle at DFW and was overwhelmed with all the options for car service in the Dallas area. Luckily I stumbled upon My Private Driver and took a leap of faith. This was my first time needing a car service so I was pleasantly surprised at how easy the booking was and felt that the rates were reasonable. Our driver, Ken, was a few minutes early and was really nice. Our ride was pleasant, quick and without any problems. There's no other service in town I'd use over My Private Driver. Clean cars that still smell new and not like goat sausage or whatever. They send courteous professional drivers that know the best routes and care about me and my guests. They contact me personally to secure needs and specific locations for pickups. They arrive early virtually every time and never complain or hurry me when they have to wait. The cars are clearly marked with a cool subtle My Private Driver gold logo near the front tire. And there are almost always waters and snacks in the car after an airport arrival. Love those guys. We are definitely returning customers. read more

After a trip to San Francisco with my wife and daughter, I had to fly on to Philadelphia while my family flew back to Dallas. I wanted to make the trip back as easy on them as possible, so I booked My Private Driver to pick them up at DFW and take them home. I will never book another car service in DFW if I can help it after my awesome experience with My Private Driver. My original plans to the airport on Thursday, March 5, were cancelled after Dallas experienced a record snowfall. I found myself stranded in McKinney and NEEDING to get to the airport to get to a flight. After nearly an hour of calling around, I found My Private Driver. Ken arrived right when he said he would and he even kicked a path through the snow, so I could get from my door to the car without getting my feet wet. The drive to DFW was slow due to the dicey road conditions, but I never once felt unsafe. And bonus - Ken is awesome! Really nice guy and very fun to talk to - I am not usually a talker - but couldn't help it with Ken. He made me feel totally at ease and like I was having a conversation with an old friend. He has great stories, and just a lot of fun to talk to. After arriving at DFW on time for my flight, I cancelled my original return car service arrangements and booked again with My Private Driver, specifically requesting Ken. The operator let me know that they couldn't guarantee a specific driver, but she promised that all of their drivers were awesome. I'm sure they are, but I didn't get to find out because when I returned, Ken was again my driver! The return trip was just as flawless as the outbound trip. It was late and I was tired, but Ken and I chatted all the way home. I will definitely be using the service again - I've already recommended it to several friends. Apparently this company does not want business. I tried calling twice on consecutive days to get a quote for a bus for 40+ people from Dallas to Lake Lewisville, but they never returned my calls. I spoke w/ an actual person TWICE and she assured me she would have someone get back to me. I would have rented it for the whole day b/c we were heading to a boat party. My Private Driver was recommended by the boat rental place! However, they never returned my calls, so I went elsewhere! read more

Customer service was nice and prompt. Car was clean. Driver was on time. Had a distracted driver, though. We almost got t-boned from turning left on a yield-green-light (vs a green arrow). Don't think the driver noticed, either. The driver also sat at a 4 way stop for awhile, thinking it was a 2 way stop. Made it to the destination, though, so that was good. read more

Very friendly while making your reservation for a driver. No issue booking it and taking your credit card. Actually showing up, which is the number one thing you need in a driver? No, that's not important to them because your business is not important to them. They left us high and dry with no driver and no time to find an alternative.
