The bride and groom wanted a simple lunch of fancy sandwiches, with sides of fruit and veggies, after charcuterie for the cocktail hour. Despite the simplicity, Cherished Events made the food beautiful and everything was well thought out. Cherish also worked with us to accommodate all the various food allergies of our guests which was so important to us! We had a separate table for gluten free options, and everything was made without artificial dye or nuts. Cherish even watched to be sure the bride and groom got enough to eat (something that often gets overlooked). Cherish and her helpers were so professional and kind throughout the entire day, we really appreciated that as well. I was also very grateful for her help with other things! She helped me know what plates would be best, how many drinks to have on hand, and was helpful with any other questions about wedding planning in general that I had since we didn't hire a professional planner. And even though she wasn't contracted for drinks she brought drink despensers for the tea and lemonade I bought separately and kept them filled! So, so impressed! 100% recommend!!

My best friend booked with Paint the Town Red for my bachelorette party. We were told that for a…read moreprice of $15 per person we would get entrance and tables and drink specials at 3 bars/clubs/restaurants of our choosing. I picked Sunset Lounge, Zouk, and Le Vu, all of which are listed as being in their party network. We were told that at Sunset Lounge we would have an 8 pm table reservation and would get BOGO appetizers and a champagne toast. At Zouk we were supposed to have a VIP table and drink specials, and at Le Vu we were supposed to have a VIP table and a bottle of champagne. When we showed up at Sunset Lounge at 8 pm for our first reservation, it was booked until 9:45 for a private event hosted by DFW Girlfriends. After talking to not one, not two, but THREE managers at Sunset Lounge who had no idea who Paint the Town Red VIP Parties or Tonia Hatfield (the owner and our hostess for the night) were, DFW Girlfriends and Sunset Lounge took care of us. They set us up on the patio and still honored what we were promised, and threw in free shots, even though they had no record at all of our reservation. DFW Girlfriends made sure we were having fun, and even though we crashed their event, they welcomed us in and made us feel like part of their group. After Sunset Lounge we had a 10 pm table reservation at Avenue. We were originally supposed to go to Zouk, but they had a private event, so we chose Plush, but Tonia told us they were requiring bottle service that night to get in, so at 6:30 on Saturday night, when our plans should have already been finalized, I picked Avenue. When we arrived at Avenue guess who was having a private event and had never heard of this company or its owner? The manager took pity on us and let us in anyway, but we didn't get any drink specials or anything. The only reason we got a table is because it was pretty slow so I guess they didn't mind. . But at least Avenue treated us well even though they definitely had no obligation to. Our third and final stop was Le Vu, who was (big surprise) having a private event, didn't have a reservation for us, and had never heard of the company or Tonia. At that point I was a little (a lot) irritated because this was our THIRD instance of the same thing. I called Tonia from my friend's phone and was forwarded to voice mail every time. Text messages were never answered. The manager of Le Vu said he felt bad for us that we had been scammed (he actually said that!) and let us in and still gave us everything we told him we'd been promised. I don't know if Tonia didn't care about us because we weren't paying for a limo and all the bells and whistles or what, but this had the potential to completely ruin my night. I was really looking forward to a good experience with Paint the Town Red so I could use them again and could recommend them to friends and family, but now I definitely can't do that. Thankfully all the people we encountered and the places we went were welcoming and willing to take care of us. If not, the night would have been a complete disaster.
