I am an athlete and offer you should not go if you are not physically capable. Injured? Don't go. Also, if you are a group or have children, let others pass you as you will slow them down. Staff are not on the course. Do not expect them to come help you. Be self sufficient. Set reasonable expectations for yourself. And don't worry about what other people think. Hydrate. This is physical exercise. And have fun! This is fun! Be free with yourself and your companions. Laugh! Connect with nature. Enjoy challenging yourself. Try something new. Why 4 stars instead of 5? Staff are inconsistent and so is the upkeep. For example on today's visit one of the ropes was broken but I was allowed to use the obstacle anyway. That seemed very unsafe to me. My daughter has started working her way up the ranks by doing things like helping me carry groceries inside, helping make dinner, racing an adult, and so on. She really enjoys herself in Coach Kent's class and with all of the different coaches she has worked with over the past few months that they've been open. It's a bit of a drive and I wish they would open one in Rockwall, but it's worth it for my little one to get that pinned up energy out and have some time with kids her age outside of school. They only acknowledged their regulars. By the time the lady FINALLY asked us what we needed, she couldn't even answer our questions because she kept stopping to talk to her regulars. Really made us feel unwelcome and like we were interrupting her social time. Additionally, we pointed out one tank where one of the fish was being incessantly bullied and another tank with a dead fish, and all she goes is "hmm yep looks like it" and then walks back to the front and continues talking to her regulars. Absolutely no help and her lack of concern for the fish conditions makes me wary about purchasing anything from there. Ended up going to another store that had incredible service and I now have a wonderful set up. Would NOT recommend this place and certainly wouldn't ever spend a dime here out of principle.
