My bridal beauty team has collaborated with Danielle on multiple weddings & events, giving me the happy opportunity to get to know her well over the last 8yrs. Some of Danielle's beautiful traits that stand out the most are: She is down to earth, hilarious, and welcoming; everyone is treated like family! Spending even a short amount of time with her means you are instantly enveloped in excitement, laughter, and vibrant creativity. Her dedication to bringing dreams into tangible reality is impressive! She makes it her mission to craft incredibly personalized and awesome events for each client. From the moment we met Danielle and found out about her occupation (a year before we got engaged), we knew that using One Fine Day would be in our future. From the immediate response to the request for more info on her website to the day after our wedding when I had an important question... Danielle and the crew took the best care of us. We did a first look reveal before our ceremony. Taking pictures before gave us more time to party. My wife and I couldn't wait to see each other. Before, Danielle would run back and forth to check on us while transforming our venue into a dreamscape. All I wanted to know was how my wife was doing. I knew she would look beautiful, just like she always does, but I wanted Danielle's confirmation. "She's doing well. She wants to see you. She's eating LIKE HOW YOU SHOULD BE EATING. Of course, she is beautiful." I think she was just as anxious and excited as we were to see each other. We felt so much love from Danielle and the crew. It was a perfect day. She made us feel like we were her only clients. I have wondered if anyone else felt the same way and was treated likewise. When I look at other reviews, I find that this is true for everyone else. The support, the attention to detail, emergency dress repair skills, imagination, and transparency. We all get it! I'm not sure how to thank Danielle and her crew. I guess a short review does plenty... but we are eternally grateful to her team. I wish we had copious amounts of money so we could have her throw parties... My husband and I got married at 34 events on November 4, 2016 and it was beautiful. We wanted a…read morevenue that was pretty on it's own, flexible on the caterer and we got that and then some. The lighting package is worth it (chandlier, uplights, overhead string lights)- really, it's all you need to highlight the gorgeous brick interior. Photo package- our engagement pictures were excellent. Neither my husband or I would be considered "photogenic" but he really captured some great shots. Alex started taking pictures of us at 9:30 AM during the Vietnamese tea ceremony and again as we got started getting ready at 34 events around 1 and through the wedding until it ended. He had 2 other assistant photographers there capturing the party. Alex's style is photojournalistic and he is a ninja at getting shots without you knowing. The photo booth was a big hit and they let it run an additional hour or so. We did not go with the caterer through the venue, we needed a very specific ethnic multi-course meal that Alex allowed us to bring our caterer of choice which a lot of other venues do not allow. We also got the beer/wine package and our guests took full advantage. Alex was really easy to work with and always responded promptly. Our wedding was stunning and we had a good experience with 34 events.

The Perfect All-in-One Wedding Venue…read more 34 Events was the absolute perfect venue for our wedding. The space is beautiful and exactly what we envisioned for our day. We hosted both our ceremony and reception there for 150 guests, and it couldn't have worked out better. One of the biggest advantages of 34 Events is how much is handled in-house. From linens and flatware to special lighting, catering, and the bar, so much was coordinated through the venue, which made the planning process incredibly easy and stress-free. The food was prepared on-site and was delicious. We received numerous compliments from our guests. We also utilized Hope's Day-of Coordination services, and it was worth every penny. Hope is simply amazing. She made the entire day feel calm and effortless, allowing us to truly enjoy every moment. We are so grateful for her care, organization, and attention to detail. Both Hope and Alex were incredibly responsive throughout the process, and we genuinely enjoyed working with them. If you're looking for a stunning venue with outstanding service and a team that truly takes care of you, we cannot recommend 34 Events enough. We had a perfect day thanks to them.

I took my grandson to NickelRama a little over a week ago, while he was visiting from Ohio…read more Having never been, I had no expectations other than to think we were going to an "arcade." I had looked up NickelRama online just to verify that fact, and in so doing I read that all the arcade games were, go figure, a "nickel!" Anyhoo, what I did not realize was that NickelRama are a chain of "play for tickets" arcades, where one may then redeem the tickets for "prizes," akin to that which one might imagine winning at a carnival "Guess Your Age/Weight Booth," where number of prizes range from a stick of chewing gum or pencil topper on the low end to perhaps something electronic on the far upper end, depending on the number of tickets being redeemed. My grandson was fully aware of what we were getting into, as I quickly learned. After we made entry and each received our initial $10.00 purchase of 200 nickels, presented to us loose, in plastic cups, he immediately began searching the arcade for what he determined to be the game that would result in us accumulating the most tickets. This was not his first rodeo and he certainly knew the "name of the game" was quantity over quality, as far as ticket acquisition goes. The idea that we might challenge one another in some friendly video game mano a mano competition was quickly replaced by us challenging an electronically crafted gizmo to give up the most tickets possible, for later turn-in and prize procurement! As such was inevitable, he found THE game and thus, the challenge was on. It took us each about 45 minutes to burn through our 200 nickels. Well, I actually left the particular game and sought some variety of play, after about 160 or so nickels. That was short lived however, as I quickly realized my grandson's assessment was correct and the game to which he remained attached was the one that was most generous in spitting out tickets. Hence, I returned to sit beside him at the adjacent game and fed the remainder of my nickels into the machine. When our nickel cups were empty, I urged my grandson to walk about and seek out other possible games, but he quietly reminded me none were as generous as the one we'd just left. Still, I was seeking variety so, I enticed him with an additional cup of 100 nickels. He retrieved the cups and we began playing a game somewhat similar to THE game, but as he pointed out it just wasn't as lucrative. So, we went back to the machines we first sat at and fed. After a short period, we both were done and ready to feed our tickets into the Ticket Counters for tabulation. The ticket counters, booth count AND slice the tickets in half so they may not be reused/recounted. As our tickets were counted, he was declared the winner, by his count exceeding mine, by about 800 tickets! In total, we had a combined give or take 5300 tickets, with which he could now utilize to "shop" for prizes. With an "All-in" investment of just at $40, including the $5 entry fee for each of us to the NickelRama, he was able to get a tiny rubber eraser, a pair of large foam dice, and a plastic foam ball pop gun. In the end, I considered it money well spent, since the goal of the trip was to spend some quality time out with my grandson. He had fun and I had fun! He was shown that he was valued by my following his lead in our quest. And, he outperformed me in the acquisition of tickets! If you're looking to spend some time with your little ones and you want them to feel good about themselves, a NickelRama can fill that need!
