Fun way to spend her Birthday!
Stephanie B.

cannot say enough good things about this place! What a great way for our blended family of 5 of all ages (52, 42, 20, 18, 10) to enjoy the beauty of nature, and make memories together! this was our 5th trip to this location, but our younger daughter's first time. She loved it so much, and we went as part of a birthday celebration.

We had a blast at Go Ape with the family. Check in was fast and easy. We did not go in with high expectations but left impressed. We have done a lot of zip lining and having some independence on the course was stimulating. I could see how to a first timer it may make one nervous. Don't let the scare you but embrace it. The safety briefing was all you needed to navigate the course. The staff were super friendly and helpful. We did bring our own gloves and were a little skeptic. Glad it was recommended and required. They were very useful. I did drop my phone from on high but I was able to flag down a staff member to retrieve it. That was super nice and helpful. I forgot his name but he had an Army hat on and was our guide through the safety briefing. Last suggestion was go early if it is summer time. Heat and humidity is tough. Glad they had water provided and available.

Came here with a Military group to have a good time. This is a self escorted zip line obstacle course. I believe the weight limit is around 240lbs, and there is a lot of balance, swaying obstacles in the air to get to and from. We came after a good rain and the sun was out, it felt like Florida. Wear sunscreen and bug repellent. Our feet was getting stuck in the mud. The workers, were amazing and kind, and all our people had a great time!

Oh yeah! Unexpectedly,in the middle of civilization, no passport or plane tickets are required! With spring comes a mass of people trying to get outside and make up for lost "pandemic" time. The DFW area now has 5-6 million people and that's a lot of humanity looking for something to do. Go Ape, provides Zip lines over beautiful creeks, obstacle courses of ropes, rings and poles in the sky, and Fun,Fun, Fun. Not for that faint of heart, this activity will challenge you. You do have a choice of how intense you want to get so from 10-100 there is probably something for everyone. Definite Go!!!

Omg love this place! Visited a week ago at the location in Arlington I believe. My 8 year old, his father and I had so much fun on the tree course and zip line. Felt secure and went thru a short pre course to ensure we understood what we were doing. They had a supply of water to have during. Dress cozy and have fun!

The sites were clean and the instructors very helpful ! I'd give it 5 stars but the Tarzan finish wasn't available the weekend I went! Next time for sure!

We had a blast! First time zip lining and Cory was an awesome instructor! He explained everything so easily and was a lot of fun. Definitely will come back.

Beef Tamale, Mac and queso, chili and bacon

My goodness, that tamale bowl is delicious! They had a special where they combined Mac, queso, chili, bacon, and beef tamales on top. They need this on their menu as a standard. My goodness. I'm coming back for sure!

The weather outside is a gorgeous, sunny, breezy 65 degrees. You don't mind spending $13 per person to balance on tightropes 5 stories up in the air. Now is the perfect time to conquer Howler's Peak. Our group of 3 went out around 2pm on a fall weekday when most kids are in school, so we had no wait at all. The staff quickly helped us get harnessed up, then we were attached to the safety track snaking throughout the course and set free to roam at will. From the ground, it doesn't seem too tough. You can see that many of the paths look like sturdy wooden-looking ladders on their sides, with plenty of stable foot landings and hand-holds for your crossing. However, once you climb up the stairs to each level, you realize that many paths you must cross are only rope, or with large breaks between tiny foot holds, and few or no handholds. The wind feels stronger up there, balancing takes more effort, and everything seems to sway a bit. Even though you know that there is no way the safety harness can let you fall, it is quite a feat to overcome your brain's message to your body, "Hey, dummy, you're about to plummet to your death!" After going around the 2nd and 3rd stories, including 2 thrilling zip line paths, my 8 year old had had enough. He was ready to get his feet back down on the ground, but I knew it was my duty to continue on. I had to show him (and myself) that even though I was nervous, I was not going to quit until I reached the top. From 30 feet to 40 feet to 50 feet I climbed, as a crisscrossed my way around the course. My goal was the top southwest corner of the structure, where I'd jump down to the ground. I've never been interested in bungee jumping elsewhere, as I question the safety & maintenance of the equipment & training of the staff at most of those tourist trap, beach town places. However, the staff & equipment at this attraction made me feel that risk was minimal. Once I made it to the prep station, my harness was transferred to the pulley system and throrough safety check was done. At that point, I just had to make my legs walk off the end of the platform. Wheeeeeeeeee! I'm probably not going to start base jumping any time soon, but man, that was fun. I'll definitely be coming back to do this again the next time I'm visiting Great Wolf. By the way, even if you aren't a guest of the hotel, you can experience Howler's Peak for $25. Closed-toe shoes are required, and I recommend that long hair be secured and sunglasses worn if it's daytime. For little kids under 48 inches, there is a smaller version of the course on the ground, with a smaller fee and no harness required.

This place is incredibly disorganized and honestly feels like a lawsuit waiting to happen. For the amount of money you spend to get in, absolutely nothing here is worth it. Here is what you need to know before you go: * Zero Staff Supervision: There are no staff members supervising the bounce room or the shooting area. Because of this, little kids are running wild with guns everywhere. * Not Teen-Friendly: Because the facility is overrun with unsupervised "littles," teenagers do not have a dedicated or safe place to actually play. If you have older kids, this is definitely not the place for you. * Broken Games: The "video game" area is a joke. They only have 12 older games, and only 4 of them actually work. * No Basic Amenities: There is absolutely nowhere to put your shoes. On top of that, they do not offer any food or drinks for sale, meaning you have to haul everything in yourself. Save yourself the headache and the money. We will not be returning.

This was one of the most disappointing customer experiences we've had, not because of a rule--but…read morebecause of how it was handled. Our six-year-old son loves racing. He's been racing regularly since early November at another Andretti location and has already been officially verified as meeting the height requirement for the junior track. We came to this location excited, with family in town, expecting the same consistency. Instead, he was denied access based on a manager's visual guess from behind the counter. No one measured him. No policy was clearly explained. No customer records were checked. And the manager refused to even come out to engage directly. If height requirements are about safety (which we fully respect), then they should be enforced objectively and consistently. Guessing from a distance is not safety--it's laziness and poor leadership. What made this worse was the complete lack of empathy. Watching a child who loves racing go from excited to confused and disappointed--without explanation or care--was heartbreaking and entirely avoidable. The Andretti name stands for precision and professionalism. What we experienced here was the opposite: disengaged management, inconsistent policy enforcement, and a total breakdown in customer experience. We didn't ask for special treatment. We expected competence, consistency, and basic respect--especially when dealing with kids. This experience ruined our visit and seriously damaged our trust in this location. Until Andretti addresses these leadership and operational issues, we won't be returning--and we'll think twice before recommending it to other families.

The race cars are really the main attraction here and the entire place revolves around the racing. You cannot make a reservation. It's a first come, first serve situation. There are four racing categories (see below), so if you come with a group of mixed ages or heights you may not all be able to race together (I've witnessed this shock when birthday parties assume they can race together). The Intermediate and Junior Races are slower than you'd assume. I could jog faster, but the WORST part is the speed. They go so slow and are controlled so it's nearly impossible to pass another racer or actually RACE! The Mini Mario has some speed and speed is adjusted based on the general age of the racers in the heat. The cost is $29 down to $15, which doesn't sound horrible, but after waiting for a long time for your group to be called and then racing for 1min to 7 minutes, the cost is really high! High enough you're not likely to get in line and do it again. CUSTOMER SERVICE: Ugh. There are kiosks and a giant line with actual people at a counter. Don't be mistaken YOU MUST go to the kiosk FIRST and fill out waivers, although there are no signs anywhere telling you that. We've filled out waivers on line before arriving, only to find ourselves at the front of the line and told "we can't find it, now to to the kiosks and get back in line". It's awful. The employees don't seem to like their jobs, or likely are sick of people being upset at them for the HORRIBLE process management has set up. We've never been able to find someone on the floor to help us when a video game eats our money or doesn't work either. The guys in the race area are hit or miss. Sometimes they're patient and kind. Other times they mumble and seem pissed off to be there. GAMES: The video games are the same as other places around town, but after driving all the way out here, searching for parking and then racing for 5 minutes we've always felt like we need to play a few games to make the trip worth it. FOOD: We've never eaten here, but it's basic bar food (hamburger, hot dogs, nachos, etc) and the cost is high for such basic food. We'd rather pay the same amount for better food options in the area. All that to say, expect to spend $$$ to come race, eat and play at Andrettis. Make sure your group has checked the height & age requirements to make sure you can race together. And finally, come with a lot of patience. ----- Race Categories ----- ADULT RACE 7- Minute Heat. I liked that the rooms were a mix between physical and mental tasks, but definitely preferred the physically-focused ones. The mental puzzles were sometimes confusing because you walk in blind with no instructions or hints (you can ask for hints from the employees though). I will say, I saw the all-kids groups breeze through many of those rooms while adult groups (including mine) took many tries. Maybe the challenges just required a certain creativity to solve. I do want to say the initial check in was good. I had a bag I should have taken home and they held it safe up front for me. Very appreciated. The rough... The location boasts "42" mini escape rooms, most are 2-4 connected rooms with a task to get to the next room. With one task to get through and no real objective or clues, it can be frustrating figuring it out. The rooms are broken or worn out. 4 initial rooms could not be entered, holding back access to 2-3 more rooms each. Anything that required touching showed its age with wear. Some rooms required crawling with worn out floors that hurt to crawl on. The place is connected to a trampoline park, we had random young kids running around Labyrinth area unsupervised. The potential.... We were able to get through 2 areas completely! The obstacle course to get through a volcano was fun! The Asylum area was great as well. But so many rooms we were just clueless as to the clues. I am not the world's best escape room person, but I've completed dozens. Hard tasks are good, nearly impossible to figure out tasks are rough, racially with broken down interactions. When this place was new, I bet it was great. For $60 total we were entertained for two hours well enough, but I can't really recommend this place with all the broken and worn down interactions. The place needs a revamp and it could be unique and great!

Also minus 1 star for the staff help, there was one lady at the front with red hair who seemed to have an attitude every time I came to ask a question. With 90 students and over 20 adults quite a bit of questions arose and some things were unclear. It would be helpful to assign a staff member to each field trip group to limit having to speak to multiple staff. Lastly, be mindful of the tunnels.
