Someone backed into my brand new car as they were leaving and just took off...
    Frank S.

Whomever backed into my brand new BMW today May 15, 2023, we know you were in the 2:30 time slot, we know your group, and see your car on the video. How horrible of you to hit and run without owning up. Other than that punch in the stomach, this place was great and the kids absolutely loved it. The spotters are very competent and professional. The facilities still looked pretty good given all the people they run through here. Great group or team building activity.

That's a worrisome amount of tape on the wind tunnel :-/

Exhilarating! If you're even KIND OF mildly interested, go for it (barring any current or recent physical impediments and injuries)! This wasn't a planned part of our staycation in Frisco, but iFly was literally outside our hotel window. So WTH, we got the off-peak deal for 2 flights each ($65/person, all totaled with taxes: $141). It would have been better if we could share the total number of flights between our group, but unless you purchase 10 flights or more, my understanding is that you can't split, say, 6 flights between 2-6 flyers. While my 8yo excitedly told her virtual classmates about the upcoming experience, I was reading about the risks of indoor flying and becoming increasingly nervous--all for naught. STEPS TO EXPECT: - Book your flight online - Sign the waiver online or in-person - You'll get a wristband at the front - Watch others fly while you wait for your group - Your flight time begins with a training video and a few pointers - Suit up - Fly fearlessly! Trust that your instructors know what's up. We got Steve, who like everyone else we met there, was chill but confident that we would enjoy ourselves. I got the impression that he could handle any problems that arose, including the rare ones that draw an undue amount of attention. Best part of our time in Frisco!

Took the wife here for a date day. We had a fun time. So why 4 instead of 5 stars? For the money you pay, I'd highly recommend just doing the real thing! Jumping from a plane and falling at 120 miles/hour is pure bliss. The best way to describe skydiving (as oppose to indoor skydiving like this place) is it is better than bad sex. Seriously, if I had a choice between skydiving and bad sex - and you know all sex is good - I would choose skydiving every single time.

I recommend this place if you want to experience indoor flying and want a cool adventure. Remember to reserve ahead of time.. Once you walk inside they have you sign a few waivers and ask you to get weighed as you can't be over and under weight. You can also upgrade your package too. My group that went all upgraded our package to one where the guide brings you up to elevated heights that you as a novice can't get to so that was cool. Once that is done you go upstairs and you get a quick tutorial on hand signals and what to do or not to do in the air/ wind tunnel. Then you all get suited up in professional gear that you wear over your clothes, with helmets and noise blocking ear pieces. They suggest that you tie your hair in a low or short ponytail. Afterwards, you get wisked away and go through the process in a line of going up into the wind. There's a certain way that you must get in and out. If you like adventure in anyway and want to try a mini version of skydiving this is it. At the end they do give you a certificate of completion plus they ask if you would like to come back for more trips. Just know that if you get the 10 or 4 (whatever number you sign up for) flights more you would need to come back for 10 mins or 4 mins of flying time in one visit. You can't break up the trips. We found out this little tidbit.

This is a must try! My husband surprised me by bringing me to experience this! As soon as we walked in we were greeted with a smile, small talk while they checked me in and weighed me. Anyone 3+ and under 260-300lbs can fly! I did show up about 20 minutes early so i sat and watched others fly before my instructor Holland showed at 4! Holland was very nice, we did a short class session to learn the basics of flying and hand signals because once in the tube you can't hear past the ear plugs. They are very sanitary, all suits & equipment are washed and/or cleaned prior to use. After use they're put in laundry baskets to be washed! The tube was super fun! The wind is very strong so try not to keep your mouth open too long lol. Relax and look for signals! It's very affordable and after your first fly you can prepay for your next visit and receive an immediate 50% off!

I took my daughter here and she absolutely loved it. The staff is excellent and they did a great job making her feel comfortable and safe. The experience started with a brief training session in the training room. The instructor gave us the run-down on what to expect, as well as teaching us valuable hand signals to use when we're in the tunnel. After the training, we were moved to the dressing area where the instructor suited everyone up with gear (suit, caps, helmets, eye glasses). After everyone was suited up, the instructor did another recap on hand signals and put the group into a queue based on who wanted to go first, then everyone walked into the tunnel waiting area. Each person was able to go twice, based on the amount of time they paid for. The first flight will include your high flight (if you purchased one), and the instructor will upsell you on a second high flight before your second flight begins. It makes sense why they do this on your first flight, because if you loved it the first time, you can buy another before your second flight and vice versa.   Our instructor/guide was Holland. He was warm, welcoming, kind, and funny. He kept our group laughing and made sure everyone was 100% comfortable the entire time. There was a very small 7-year-old girl in our group, he did excellent with her and she looked like she was having the time of her life.   This is about as close as you can get to real skydiving, without all the risks associated with jumping out of a plane. iFly also does a great job making the experience feel like a journey. Please know, it can be pretty expensive. I paid for just my daughter to have 4 flights w/ 2 high flights. So basically, they merged her four flights into two flights, then increased the flight time of both flights to two-minutes each flight. So overall, she spent a total of 4 minutes in the flight tunnel. This was a gift for my daughter's 21st birthday, so it was worth it for me to see her laughing and having a blast, but if you have multiple people flying, expect to shell out some good hard-earned dough here. If you're on a budget, just make sure you plan out what you want to get out of your experience in advance so you don't miss out.   Overall, I highly recommend iFly for all ages. If you happen to get Holland as your instructor/guide, you'll be in great hands... Literally :-)

iFLY was an amazing adventure. I used to attend an annual conference nearby and decided to jump. It was so much fun that I did it a couple extra times. As you advance it's even more fun! Great staff. Plenty of fun. Carries into skydiving descent skills. 5 stars. The reason I would give 6 stars if I could, I used to buy vouchers ahead because you got a better deal. The annual conferences stopped, skip ahead 7 years, I went to a different location and they were able to lookup my voucher from SEVEN YEARS AGO and I was able to redeem it at a new location. I did not believe that would have been possible.

I cannot believe how real it feels doing this. You really feel like you're in the sky. There's no way I'd ever jump out a plane. I don't care if a plane is falling out the sky, I'd still wouldn't jump. I just pray to God for a safe crash landing. I was in complete shock the entire time cuz of my fear of heights. But anyhow it was fun.

On New Years Eve my parents took my siblings and our significant others to go indoor sky diving for part of our Christmas present and wow, so impressed with the whole experience. About a week prior we made reservations for a time slot, it says to arrive at least 15 minutes before that time slot to go through check-in. The lady at the front desk basically make sure all waivers have been signed (which can be done on your phone or computer prior to arriving) and she will explain and give insight and answer any questions you may have. After weighing you (260 lb is max weight) she will send you on you way to the flight area. If you arrive early enough you will probably get to see the group in front of you skydiving. Your instructor will come get you and take you to a room to watch a video for the hand signals the use and explain how your posture should be during flight. After this quick video you get suited up and you get to go in and sit on a bench and one by one you get to skydiving in the wind tunnel. Literally the coolest things I've done! If you haven't done this yet, go do it!

Been there, done that... got the certificates.

"We fly high, no lie, you know it! BALLIIIINNN'!" iFly Dallas is EPIC! I had (indoor) skydiving on my bucket list and dragged the hubs along for a flight! Garrett, Amber, and the rest of the crew were WONDERFUL! Initially a nervous wreck, Garrett made me feel comfortable and calm. The staff knows what they're doing, they're laid back, and efficient. The checkin process is easy, the flight experience is amazing, and they email your pics and videos immediately following. A total win for all involved!

My sister trying not to freak out.

First time flyer here!!! Today is my birthday, my boyfriend wanted to take me and my sister to do this since we have never done it. I got lots of gifts today and this one is by far the most fun one ever. I was scared at first to even do it. There is the class you start off with first. They show you a helpful video and then the instructor tells you more helpful tips before getting into the tunnel. Don't worry, your instructor will be there to help you at all times. I was tripping balls. I was so scared to even get in but once the instructor helped me get stable, I wanted to do it more. I got to do the highfly with one of the other instructors and it was so freakin fun. I think I was the only one smiling during all that. I enjoyed it so much and the instructor was so helpful and so nice. She was awesome too. I'm for sure gonna be coming back to do it and this time I'm dragging my momma. Best experience ever !!!!!

Getting ready for our first flights!!

So my husband has been wanting to do this for a while but wanted to shed some lbs. first. Last night we celebrated him reaching his goal and came for a date night. We had an 8:30p reservation. We arrived kinda early about 8:15p. Check-in process was pretty easy. We ended up each getting a photo, video, and the high flight. Anything extra cost $$$ but that's how they make their money. We went to ther second floor to wait on further instructions. While we waited, we watched others 'flying' which helped ease our minds. Finally a bit after 9p, Ashley took us back in a room to watch a video about what to expect and instructions. After that she took us to get fitted for our suits, helmet, goggles, and ear plugs. I believe we went into the tunnel about 9:40p or so. There were 2 other people with us. My husband went first and did pretty good... and then came my turn!!! Lol. Let me just say the wind kinda took my breath away at first... it's really strong. But I started relaxing and focusing on my breathing. I did good and didn't wobble around like I thought I would. Even though you're only in there for about 1 minute, it seems much longer. On the second round, we got to do our high flight! I was nervous but enjoyed it a lot. Hubby did too. One of the ladies in our group tried but couldn't finish out her time because of the strong wind. Ashley was great and talked us through every step!! Awesome. We're even considering doing the real thing now!! All of the staff was very friendly. After we were done, we picked our photo and video. We've watched the videos several times since then. I'd definitely recommend anyone try it. I saw they also have a party room upstairs as well.

    Great adventure
    Dwayne W.

Went with a buddy today to try it out. We had a great time. I used to skydive many years ago. This brought back a lot of great memories. The best difference is the lack of a ride in the tiny ass plane. Didn't miss that part. The flight staff was great. The checkin staff seemed a little lost. The flight guys upstairs even said the people downstairs should have given us a ticket for the videos that were part of our package. HUGE NOTE .... Go to CostCo to buy tickets for flight time. The prices are much better than going directly to the place.

There's a safety form to complete and an instructional video to review, both of which were very helpful in preparing for the flight. However, there was a bit of confusion with scheduling. Since I arrived close to the time of a pre-booked group, I had to wait longer than expected, I could have flown and finished before the group arrived.
