This place is always a great time. I love bringing my son's friends or my water aerobics family with me to try something new. My son and his friend came with me in February to try something new and have an adventure. Everyone had a great time his friend was able to do something much so he would not be able to do anytime soon. So blessed to be able to provide adventures my kiddos. My 60 and 69 year old friends, they both love to try new things, but we're also nervous. But once they committed, they had a fantastic time. We came back in March and I brought my 61-year-old friend her daughter and boyfriend along with my 75-year-old water aerobics and everyone had the time of their life. My friend got a bit nervous flying high, which hindered is ability to experienced as we did. Everyone was so happy that they tried I love seeing my friends and family be adventurous and I'm so happy that the military base allows us to take these adventures and make new memories. First timer, and it was definitely an experience! The staff was friendly upon entry. I didn't have an appointment, but it seemed fine to walk in and participate. There's a safety form to complete and an instructional video to review, both of which were very helpful in preparing for the flight. However, there was a bit of confusion with scheduling. Since I arrived close to the time of a pre-booked group, I had to wait longer than expected, I could have flown and finished before the group arrived. It would have been helpful if this had been communicated upfront. Jordan, the instructor, was exceptional! He was attentive, friendly, and created a fun, comfortable atmosphere--perfect for a first-timer. While the experience was fun and unique, the cost is high for just 4-5 minutes of flight time. Although you can't really put a price on trying something new and exciting, this will likely be a one-time experience for me. Thank you, iFLY, for an enjoyable and memorable first-time adventure! Came here with a few friends and upon entrance we were immediately greeted and given direction to sign a waiver, signing your life away, and weight taken. If you're over 330 lbs they don't allow you to fly. I was a first time flier but it was so smooth from start to finish i think it was about an hour before i was flying. They provide all the gear you'll need and have a video presentation that gives it directions for flying. They also offer a lot of discounts the day you're there too. Great experience read more

Came as part of a youth group STEM event. so much fun. The class was informative but not boring. Lots of hands on activities. The physics demonstration was so much fun to watch. Flying in the tunnel was fun for all ages. Definitely recommend upgrading to high flights. Jordan was a great instructor. Something helpful that they don't advertise on booking.com is that if you're above 300lbs or if you have a history of any back, neck, shoulder or knee injury you can't participate so keep that in mind when considering this as an activity. It was, however, a little more physically difficult than expected, especially after a few flights in a row. This was a ton of fun!!! I took my 4 year old son for a boys' day while my wife was traveling. He loved every second. When you arrive, there are a few logistics that you must take care of before you can start. Basically, you have to sign a wavier, don a suit and helmet, and finally - watch a video. Since it's loud in the tunnel, you have to learn a few hand signals so your instructor can communicate with you. The session took a while -- my son and I were part of a group of 6. While you're in the tunnel seating area, you are not free to go in and out. This means that if you want to take pictures with your own camera or phone -- you're out of luck unless someone is on the outside. Of course, you can buy the pictures and DVD's, but you're limited at the fixed angles where the cameras are placed. While the experience is really fun -- it is pricey. If you haven't tried it, give it a shot!! read more

I bought a Christmas package as a gift. the person I was giving it to is afraid of heights and does not want it. I tried to return it for a refund and they will not accept it. they say that they do not refund vouchers. Of course you don't know this until after you buy it. What a scam! I wasn't too pleased with my experience. Preston was the instructor. I had purchased a 4 flight package. I also purchased two high flights when we arrived. No one else had purchased high flights in our time slot. Preston checked with my 9 year old (I was several feet away during this discussion) if it was ok that that they skip the 4th flight but he'd give her some extra time. She said yes - what else is she supposed to say? She's 9... I also didn't notice any extra time given. After the third flight, he asked if anyone wanted to pay extra for another flight. I'm not sure how many extra flights were purchased by the other parents there, but mine didn't get her 4th flight that I paid for. No only that, but what's the point in paying for the high flights if he's giving him to everyone for free? I purchased a 4-flight pack again to be used elsewhere. I won't be going back to the Fort Worth location... I feel scammed and ripped off. Next time, have the conversation with the adult, not a child, and give me what I paid for or offer a refund - especially when I paid for something no one else did, yet everyone else got. At a minimum, they should have offered to refund the high flights I paid for. For what it's worth, Preston was good with the kids. He was entertaining and polite. read more

I purchased two flights for two individuals for under $100 on Groupon. This definitely helped alleviate costs rather than purchasing it online/in person. I would recommend that! I give this review 4 stars because of the excellent customer service, professionalism and friendliness in each of the staff members. From checking in to leaving. Our trainer/iFly expert was, Faith. She was friendly, professional, and great with kids! Her instructions while training the group was very concise and knowledgeable and she made this experience awesome. I purchased two flights for two minutes total. The first flight (1 minute) the trainer is helping correct your form. The second flight (same ordeal, except the last 25 seconds you get to fly high in the air). The best part of iFly is the "high fly" part (the second flight). When you get the opportunity to fly high in the air. This hands down was the most exhilarating feeling that only lasted for 25 seconds. In my personal opinion, I wish this lasted way longer. I understand your first flight is getting your body and the correct form accustomed to being in the wind tunnel but, the high fly is what I would pay for and only if it was longer than 1 minute. That is the only concern I had. I took my niece who was 8 years old and she enjoyed the experience as well. At the end you can buy pictures/videos of your experience while flying online which sends to your email. I would recommend going if you would like to get a very small taste of what outdoor sky diving would be like. As great of an experience I had, I personally would rather pay to do this outdoors simply cause of the costs and to get the actual feeling of falling from outdoor sky diving. read more

Yet no one called, left a voicemail, sent an email or text. Nothing. My nephew is so upset. We called the other location in Dallas and all we got was a sorry there's nothing we can do for you. They just didn't seem to care. They said they called yesterday morning but there's no evidence of a call, voicemail, or an email. They even gave us an incorrect email address for the manager. Bought flight tickets for my husband for his birthday. We came here and had a great experience. Everything is explained fully. Faith was our instructor and she was charming and funny and put us all at ease. She made the experience fun and less frightening for some. The only thing is that it is expensive. I spent $190 for two people to go two rounds of flight (which lasted less than 15 mins total. They do give you options to buy more afterwards at a much lower rate but by that time I was feeling a little disappointed with the price to value I had already received. I have sky dived before and the cost is similar for one Peterson and the experience in a few hours. Would we do this again... probably not. It was a very cool experience but one that we can check off the box. If it was cheaper we probably would do it again. read more

As soon we crossed the door, staff were very friendly and helpful. This was our first time flying and it had always been my dream to do sky diving. This people are more the knowledgeable, they take their time to make you feel safe and comfortable step by step with the help of an instructor. You will have a introductory class where it explain you in detail safety and techniques that will prepare you. Is not a long boring class but a pretty fun for my surprise. With every package they provide aprópiate clothing for the fly even shoes if you didn't came prepared. I recommend the "Spread Your Wings for Two" package which is perfect for two persons. The place have free wifi but you need a password for it which I think you might have to ask for it at the desk (I personally didn't ask for it). In this place you can birthdays or even any type of groups events. I recommend to book online and with time ahead. In overall is a great place, an amazing experience that anyone should have (young or old). Affordable rather than pricey like I thought for a long time. Our family visit was fantastic! It was an amazing Christmas gift activity for the family. The staff was abundantly welcoming and accommodating. We had a unique situation and request, having recently lost one of our children in an auto accident. Charles the flight instructor lovingly flew our departed daughter's stuffed animal, Sprinkles in lieu of her; proving pigs can fly. Worst place ever , DO NOT GO!!! I paid 200 dollars to fly in a small tube with a man holding on to me the whole time and I got no freedom. Not only that!! I was in the small tube only 2 times and for literally 2 minutes each !!!! YEAH you heard me that's a total of 4 minutes in that small tube being held on to by a man. I Even paid an extra $100 to fly higher in the tube because I can literally touch the ground with my foot and I'm 4'11 and we did not go much higher and their goes the guy holding on to my legs. At the end of the 4 minute in that little tube the instructor went to open the rope to let us out and he literally threw it so carelessly and hit my husband in his ribs and didn't say sorry or anything. This place is a personal information data mining treasure trove. Anyone that has ever been a victim of identity theft will cringe when they go to fill out the appointment info and waiver form. Why do they need to know the birth date of the adult bringing a child when the adult is not jumping? Furthermore, it should not be a requirement for iFly to be able to use a minor's full name and photo for their advertising purposes as they see fit. Yes, can you believe that is a prerequisite to jump? We were denied use of the facility by the manager because I would not sign the portion of the waiver for them to use the name and photo of my 8 year old. I was passing through the Dallas/Fort Worth area while traveling and I decided to stop in for some flight time. I am an experienced skydiver and tunnel flyer and the group I met seemed very fun and professional. Got to fly with Nick who was awesome enough to help me out with some skills. This tunnel works great for first time flyers as well as skydiving students that aren't going very high off the net. The only reason I took away one star would only mean something to experienced flyers. This is an older style wind tunnel, smaller diameter at the base and wider at the top, and it was explained to me that height restrictions imposed by the city required them to go only so high with it. This of course gave me choppier air than what I was used to at my home tunnel in Cincinnati, required more power to lift me, and kept me at a maximum comfortable height of about 6 feet off the net. Other than that, it was a great rest from the road. I'd certainly recommend it and would be back if I found myself in the area again. read more
