Took my granddaughter there. She thoroughly enjoyed climbing the many challenging walls and 2 obstacle courses. Hapik has a great setup for all ages to enjoy.

Awesome experience! We attended for a birthday party & they had a blast. The team was knowledgeable and made sure to demonstrate how to get locked in safely before climbing. They alloted us about 1.5 hours for climbing, which was plenty of time to try each wall. They also had a small indoor playground house that smaller kids could play in or for those who got tired of climbing.

Such a cool fun climbing experience for kids Took my 5 year old son here. The place is filled with so many different climbing walls and structures. There were tables for birthday parties, events, etc. 5 years and under was $12.99 for 2 hours of climbing. Free if you're not climbing. You are fitted with a harness. Lots of young kids were able to independently go up and down by theirselves with a few staff members scattered throughout. Parents are allowed inside. This was my son's first time going to anything like this. At first my son was very scared but he slowly built up his confidence and then excited to try out the climbing walls. There was an obstacle course and zip lining for kids that is 4ft and above. My son had so much fun. Will come back!

This place is awesome!!! My daughters absolutely loved it. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the place is very clean, lots of walls to choose from and a great obstacle course. Highly recommend checking it out if you or your children like climbing.

Omgosh! Where do I even begin?! Best place ever! And 19 per person isn't bad either /kids under 3 are free (love this) lol. We had only seen this place leaving Gloria's the other week and then my daughter got invited to a bday party here. The most fun I've had at a bday party with my kids in years!!!! Lol. But, let me say this, I'm very active parent so this was SO much fun for me to be able to physically participate with them! You walk in, sign waiver, show you how to lock and unlock, and ready to go! They have rock climbing walls, obstacle course with ropes, lines, zip lines, walking on moving sticks, climb up sticks and flyyyyy off. Well, you can fly off anything after you climb up! Lol. My toddler played with blocks and ran around. She had fun too! 10/10. Def want to go back!

Visiting from Los Angeles where we have a Hapik and we were so delighted to see there was one here! Friendly staff, fun obstacles and encouraging patrons. My 6 year old daughter was terrified of the obstacles that wrap around at high distance. She started the course and then turned back before hitting the second obstacle. She took a brief break and then went back determined. The employee who hooked her harness up was very encouraging and the patrons there were cheering her on as she faced her fear and conquered the course. Needless to say, she left with such confidence and she had my parents (her abuelos) take her back 2 days later. Also, her abuelo, my dad strapped on a harness and had a blast alongside his granddaughter. So much fun for the whole family!

Mine had zero climbing experience, but they loved the obstacle courses and the climbing walls after an initial hesitant start.

The instructor was a great communicator and demonstrated the steps in the simplest form making it easy for a beginner like me to follow along. I was actually sore the next day! The facility is quite large and offers a variety of services. We were in a large room with tall floor to ceiling windows that faces the park. It was nice to be able to see outside and enjoy the greenery. However, this also meant that the instructor was backlit. She did not turn on the lights in the room. This was okay for me, but it probably would have been better if she has turned on the lights so that we could see her better. In the hallway, there were a lot of paintings on display and they were actually for sale. They highlighted local artists and several of their works. The paintings were priced around $250. It is very reasonable considering the cost of canvas, paint, frame, and the creativity and labor that goes into the work. The front desk staff were helpful. I stopped by there first, and one woman staff member was kind enough to walk me to the room where my class took place. The gym has several of these large rental room spaces, but it also has a gym with treadmills, ellipticals, free weights, and machines The City of Richardson allows access to this facility and Heights located in opposite sides of Hey 75 for an annual fee of $70 to residents, even less if you are a senior. You can also get a membership if you aren't a resident of the city. It costs a few dollars more. It's a great deal since most commercial gyms cost $100 a month compared to the price here for an entire year! The hours change, so it is best to check the web or call the main number. It's usually open until 10pm on weeknights, excluding Fridays, but closes earlier on the weekends.

These blue bags are how the city picks up recycling at our curb once a week. I had such a letter and needed to get some blue bags. They are fairly inexpensive to buy if you don't happen to have a letter. The woman at the counter was so pleasant and cheerful! Richardson is a great city to live in. We are lucky to have such great city services: trash pickup twice per week and recycling pickup once per week. Also a Babic- Brush and Bulky Item Collection can be scheduled for larger bulky trash items (furniture, old appliances, etc) weighing over 50 pounds, brush and tree trimmings, etc. The pickup day is the same as your recycling day. This varies depending on where you live within the city. You can go to the city website www.cor.net for more information or to schedule your bulky pickup. There is also a phone app "My Richardson" where you can also schedule through. So convenient and easy!

Meaning, they are pretty indifferent when greeting or answering questions about the facility. They don't really say hello until we do. I can tell they are just there to have a job, so it doesn't detour me, but geez. I can't imagine being the face of the facility, and having such a poor attitude. They are not mean or disrespectful, but it's like they just tolerate the paying guests that come in. Kind of like that new emotion on the Inside Out 2 movie. There is one guy that is friendly-I think he has reddish hair and glasses. There is another guy upstairs and the first time we went, he just stared my son down in the youth area for like the first 20 minutes we were there. My son is within the age range, but I guess the staff member wanted to make sure he didn't do anything wrong. I interacted with him a bit, and it seemed to break down a little bit of his mean-mugging vibe. He might try saying hello to people, because most people won't want to break any rules if it means disappointing a friendly guy that is in charge. The facility is cool. I suggest they get built in locks on the available lockers like they have at Carpenter Rec. I also recommend that management have a team building exercise or rotate the front people with other staff to give them a break. If you can get past the blah energy upon arriving, it's a really great facility.
