The city recently installed bathrooms on site, planted additional trees, a sun shield over the playground to lower the impact from the sun and keep the kiddies cooler, and some workout stations. Additionally, as mentioned before it does have a paved walking trail and pavilion. Along the trail there are two perpetually stocked dog waste bag stations and trash cans so folks can clean up after their pets. There is no water fountain at this park and I hope they install one with a dog fountain attachment at the bottom someday soon (the thought of drinking out of the bathroom is gross to me,sorry).Go here in the early morning or closer to dusk.

Then, we visited the recently renovated children's playground that has a large playground structure, swings, a zipline, and a warped wall. There are also at least two bathrooms located throughout the park- always a plus. Oh, and there's also two dog parks and a swimming pool, plus ample parking. If you're looking for a fun place to take your kid or go for a walk or run, this is a great spot. It gets quite crowded in the summer, but hey, it's popular for a reason.

A sturdy playground and I also like that it's spacious enough so everyone can enjoy. I like the seated zip line they have here. The design of this park sets itself apart from other parks . Just being able to hear the water waves, and seeing the sun glistening against the water is a tranquil vibe. On the some weekends there are people giving birthday parties or barbecuing at the Barbecue Grills. There is a Fishing Pier, Parking lot area, Pavilions (Small), Picnic Tables, a Playground where my kids play and swing, a Sand Volleyball Court, Trails for Hiking / Biking. I enjoy the peace and convenience of the view to walk around the lakeside in a calm setting.

They have two separate playgrounds one for smaller tots and the other one for the bigger kids. They have a big shaded area with mens and womens bathrooms. They also have a book exchange box that is always full of interesting books. When you walk down the trail you'll find a mini exercise machine area that is fully functional. Keep walking down the trail and you'll find a little lake with ducks that my daughter loved. Plenty of grass area for a nice picnic! It's laziness maybe an issue with maintaining -didn't seem too clean. I don't know but whatever. It's a one star. It's not hard to grab a broom sweep out the showers.
