Went here 4 days in a row to do a company training, so this review is through the lens of an adult who used their meeting facilities. My company rented out a meeting room here 4 days in a row for days that stretched from 9am to 4pm. The big pluses here are that it's easy to find and the parking is free. The meeting room is like a plain corporate meeting space with a network connection and a partition divvying the space. While it wasn't the most stimulating place to sit all day, the ambient noise of people having fun and playing games is kind of amusing given the stark contrast of company gathering and all the fun brouhaha going on outside. Everyday of the meetings, we had steam trays of food brought for breakfast and lunch. The food was like kid-friendly versions of everything. For example, we had taco Tuesday, and the food was reminiscent of school cafeteria food. It wasn't bad, but something you definitely wouldn't want to eat everyday. The employees here were really nice and helpful, so the team here is solid. Whenever we had tech issues, someone was in right away to assist. The big irony here is that after the four days of training we got cards to enjoy ourselves with unlimited play for like an hour, but we were all too worn out to enjoy. For the most part we were satisfied with our visit, but it most certainly did not live up to the hype. When we arrived for my daughter's birthday party we were told by an employee at the front desk to have a seat and wait for our party host but after waiting 20 minutes we decided to revisit the front counter. And sure enough our hostess had not even been made aware we had arrived. With that said, the birthday hostess did a pretty good job, she kept us on track for the rest of the event. However I will say that we ordered extra pizzas and drinks, the pizzas were pretty good but our drinks were served to us with one or two pieces of ice per cup which was kind of ridiculous. even with the poor service upon arriving I probably would have still rated main event with a four-star rating but The poor reception and lack of ice in our drinks plus the fact that they ran out of ice cream for the big super fun Sunday "which is one of the main reasons my daughter picked main event for her birthday party" Makes me feel that they are lucky that I'm giving them three stars. I got to say a place that host birthday parties probably should be well stocked with ice cream, I honestly think the waiter just didn't want to deal with it As he looked very tired and not too excited to be there not to mention it took way to long from the time we got seated to the time the waiter visited our table. If you're thinking about having your birthday party at Main Event I have to say that it is decently priced compared to other birthday party event venues. In other words you get a pretty good bang for your buck just be prepared to be disappointed by the Somewhat disappointing service. Just in case you're wondering, After Buying three extra pizzas, a around of soda for all of the adults, An extra $10 game card for all of the kids, tipping our Hostess and paying for a party for 10 kids we paid about $400 total. Well main event changes their sign outside but does nothing regarding equipment inside. I came to shoot pool and I wish I had looked at the tables and balls before paying 18.00. The pool tables are in extreme disrepair problems include: torn felt smashed bumper rails chipped and damaged balls I'm not sure about cues since I brought my own. 6 of 6 tables were trashed and they were crammed together making it impossible to shoot without bumping tables around them. it's pretty sad that main event charges 18.00 an hour for tables that are so badly cared for. I'd appreciate my money returned. I stayed for 20 minutes and left. not to mention I walked in stood at the counter waiting literally for 10 minutes while the 4 employees ignored my presence. not sure what they were doing except having outside conversations... I was a costumer at the bar today and the one guy named Jake wasn't rube but made me feel uncomfortable. I asked for some napkins and some to go silverware. He pulled the drink beverage napkins in front of me and said" here are your napkins" went and got some regular silverware and gave it to me. I saw another manager walking buy and ask him for the things I wanted, and he did so. But I will say the only reason I gave 4 stars to was the lady name Miecy she was kind and she looked like she was working really hard making sure all of her guess were happy. I went to a catered event and was so surprised at how delicious the food was. The salmon, the potatoes and the fruit Crumble were the standouts. Even the buttered rolls were nice and the turkey was moist and flavorful, along with the pork tenderloin. The food received a 5. We played bowling but the balls are in bad shape and felt icky. Also, the puck of the air hockey kept getting stuck in the center. This was frustrating as we had a disabled person in our party who had to continually raise himself up from his wheelchair or I had to try and squeeze between ours and the other air hockey table in use. The whole party had a great time: great food, great service. Though when my party went into the laser tag arena, we were told that we...can't run or crouch at all in there for cleaning reasons? Alright, I understand that, but there was a very steep slope to get upstairs and downstairs-- it essentially forced some of us to run in order to not fall from the momentum. Some of my party was kicked from the arena for the rest of the time we had in there, which was about 30 minutes. We went here on a Friday night and did the all play pass and an arcade card, we played 3 games of bowling, ordered some drinks from the bar, one game of laser tag and the arcade games. Bowling was fun, lanes we met clean and there were tons of balls. Bar drinks were good and pretty cheap, bartender was nice and helpful. Laser tag room was big and full of props. What a fantastic venue for the Granddaughter's Birthday! I hadn't been to one of these in over 12 years and WOW! Our party of 8 had a fantastic time! This location is really easy to find, to get in and get out of! Plenty of parking even with a classic muscle car show taking place in an adjoining parking lot! Building is well maintained and very clean! The staff at the main counter were exceptionally friendly and helpful! They guided us so we didn't over buy and helped us plan our time! This made our celebration significantly more enjoyable! A real win for them in the long term as we'll be back a few more times! We started at the bowling alley. Shoes were in great shape and plenty of balls options with proper hole sizes! The ability of these lanes to have pop up bumpers is nice for the youngsters! The bones of this location are good and well maintained. We mainly go here for bowling and sometimes play some pool. People eat in the bowling seating area and they are not cleaned as well as 'serious' bowling establishments. If you bring shoes, be mindful because the booth floors are often dirty. The last trip there were spills on the the approach part of the lanes even. They pay more attention to table tops. Those are usually cleaned well. For bowling, the lanes seem to get oil added at very end of day and possibly they are skimping on how much oil they lay down. I don't feel like they are oiled in between. In the evenings, these lanes are REALLY dry in comparison to any other alley I've been to in area. Wait staff is very hit and miss. Sometimes we are waited on and sometimes we have to go to the bar ourselves even though other tables are waited on. I don't know if other locations are over pouring drinks but mixed drinks seem quite weak here. Best to stick with beer. Often there is no one at the bar or at the main desk in evenings (I dont go during day so I dont know how it is). Most of the staff is friendly and helpful when I find them. A couple of them do the "I dont see you" thing. If you bowl here, you'll need patience because the patrons are mostly teens or college age. I mention this because they do not know bowling courtesy or even seem aware when the next lane is bowling. Also, they only seem to do the black light bowling here. The marks on the lane are there but cannot be seen when bowling. I don't know why they didn't make them in paint that would glow but I use the marks so my scores are quite lower at these lanes. But I still find the place fun. And it's kind of nice not to have to pay more to play pool or shuffleboard after bowling. I haven't eaten here but many do and they make the food look good. read more

The bowling is good! But, if you plan on ordering food while bowling, think again. We asked for a server when we started bowling...clock at 58 mins. We asked for a server again at 40 mins. We got a server at 28 mins and food (16" pizza) at 18 mins. We are and bowled the last mins and then waited 32 mins to get a box and pay for the pizza. I could have easily walked away and left the server with an empty table. The people sharing our area ended up have a reunion with 13 people crammed in there and we had to ask them to move just so we could bowl. Complaining to staff did nothing even though your not allowed to have that many people in the bowling seating area. Asked to be moved...We could go on the waiting list and forfeit our time left. It was our second time at Main Event in a week. We came for my daughter's 12th birthday and loved it. Came back when family came to town and it was okay. But not the same experience even though they were both Sunday evenings. The special hot cocoa shakes were not available as they were out of the hot cocoa BOTH visits. The pizza is great! Came here for a work event during the week on a Thursday. They catered lunch and it all inclusive drinks and play! I must say overall it was great! The place was clean, it was empty, all games worked, food was decent, staff was attentive! Con: The complaint was the bathroom There was like only 3 working stalls or should I say usable stalls. The other others were leaking, dirty, door didn't close, out of seat covers, etc. Pros: The salad pasta was delish along with the Caesar salad but the pizza was okay nothing extraordinary. So I went here with a group of 6. I prepaid online and reserved our spot so I knew there wouldn't be any issues with the lanes. We got there and I checked in and we all got our shoes quickly and went to our lane. Within 3 minutes our waitress came by to take our drink and food order. Throughout the night she did not stop coming by and checking on us. So to me the service was pretty great. We had no issues and overall had an amazing time. I can say I can see where some of the negative comments come from because their whole lane assign system went down for like 20 mins or so on a Friday night. To Mr. Zach Cushman, thank you for saving the day. You were professional, calm, and knowledgeable. My family arrived and saw the sign out front that said $50 GIFT card and get a $10 reward complimentary card. So I intended to purchase 2 $50 GIFT cards. I was at the register with Mr. Pedro (Cashier), he wasn't sure how to ring up gift cards so he asked for the first manager. The first manager arrived and he was looking through the POS machine to see how it could be done. A second cashier (Mr. Cashier 2) arrived and said he knows what to do. Then he rang me up for a $50 GAME card. I asked him where is the $10 reward complimentary card. Then I look at the receipt and saw that he charged me for a GAME card, not a GIFT card. And it was a $50 GAME card for 250 points when the sign right in front of both of us says the $50 GAME card is for 3## points. I said not only did you charge me for the wrong purchase, but you also cheated me out of over 50 points. The third cashier (Ms. Cashier 3) arrived and said you want a GAME card right, that's a GAME card. I said no I would like to purchase a GIFT card and get the free $10, and then I'd use the GIFT card at a later time. The first manager called over the General Manager (Mr. Zach Cushman). He kindly spoke to me and asked how he can help. Then he took some time, but he charged me for the 2 $50 GIFT cards and handed me the two $10 reward complimentary cards. He said he'd refund me the first initial purchase of $50 for the GAME card with 250 points on it. My daughter had been waiting about 25 minutes for me to get a simple GIFT card, and I asked her to be patient and kind, while we waited. We took my daughter to the 3D movie machine and one side was broken so she watched the show by herself. Only to find out that on the 3rd show, I kept asking her why are you not looking straight, but to the sides. She said there's a menu. So I looked and sure enough, the working headset had the headset menu open blocking the entire viewing of the 3D movie. To the game technician lady in the gray shirt, thank you! She was super polite, and she started working on fixing the machine right away. There was another machine that was stuck and she fixed that right away too. She was also the person who helped get the hamster stuffed animal off of the wall for my daughter. While we got our prizes at the redemption counter the 4th Cashier (Ms. Cashier 4) was super polite and friendly to my daughter. However, the 3rd cashier from the front (Ms. Cashier 3) came over and told us that I had to give her my name, address, and phone number in order to get any prizes of high value. I asked what is considered high value 1 or 1000. Why can't you just access my card and see what was redeemed or hand me a receipt? I am not going to give you my personal information. I asked her if my information is protected and if it gets leaked or shared for advertisement purposes who can I contact to make a complaint? She said the information is not shared, but then I could see all the people before me who had written down their information on this sheet of paper sitting on the counter, which at times was not accounted for. Recommendations. 1) Reward Zach, there's a reason why he's the GM! 2) For the long wait of 3 cashiers and a manager not knowing how to ring up the GIFT card. Please provide the required training prior to advertising the GIFT card rewards. 3) Something complimentary like a 30-minute or 1-hour free play while my daughter waited would have been nice. 4) Great job on fixing the machines, recognize the game technician lady. 5) Rewards redemption, providing Personal Identifiable Information should be protected if it's required. However; Target, Kohls, and Lowes doesn't require these for their purchases, it's simply on your card or on your receipt. Issue receipts if you are concerned that people are going to return these items, and please make it voluntary and not mandatory. It was a very awkward conversation with Cashier #3. read more

Went mid week when opening, only wanted to do the VR with my daughter. Asked if the VR was up BEFORE purchasing credits and told yes. First red flag, walking up to and the VR attendant walks away. Flag him down in the shop and ask do the VR. Second red flag, only 2 of the normal 6 games available. Third red flag, then gearing up, my daughters works fine, but the other stations are not working. Waste about 20 minutes with no resolution. Forth red flag, ask for attendant to just put the credits back on card taking another 10 minutes and he does not and puts a few worthless game points on the card instead. Go to main counter to get refund. No one there. Attendant finally shows up there cannot do refund and have to wait for manager. Finally get refund and "sorry it was not working but it was working yesterday" Not buying that for one second. Told manager, just put a broken sign on the thing if it is not working! Just wasted almost an hour of our lives on this place. VERY disappointed. read more

Couldn't even get through on the phone to ask a simple question. I waited 37 minutes, and still no one picked up.

So while I enjoyed my time here, there were pros and cons. For starters, there were no signs on how to order food(maybe I missed them) and we didn't know how to get an alcoholic drink because there was no one tending the bar area. I do like that during bowling, masks were optional, although I am surprised since the Texas mandate just went down. The shoes were also super uncomfortable and my friend couldn't buckle hers because of how worn they were. I guess the pros would be the drinks once we finally got them were strong, and the staff was friendly. A $900 birthday party rip off. We had a birthday party here for my 6 year old grandson in March. We reserved the pancake breakfast for 20 kids, maybe 16 showed up. It was a pancake and a drink. The pancakes were cold and the toppings were skimpy. The staff was very disorganized and it took forever for the food to come out. We were the only people there so that was not the issue. We also ordered the pastry tray for the adults, which was supposed to include yogurt, coffee and juice. The only thing we got were some mini croissants. No yogurt or beverages ever appeared. There was no party concierge or party craft as we were told there would be. There were no party decorations or balloons. Just a table with cold pancakes. I was loading things into the car when the bill arrived so my husband paid it. If I had known what we were charged I would have challenged it immediately. Learn from my mistake. I would give this entertainment center ZERO stars for bowling. The approaches are not taken care of, there were 6 pieces of gum on one approach and 2 on the other. The sitting area was sticky, similiar to old theater floors. I asked the "bowling valet" to clean the approach, he said he couldn't. A person from the front desk tried to clean up the gum but did a half-assed job. Not only are the unkept approaches dangerous, they will run the slide pad on your bowling shoe. First off, the staff was very friendly except for one person but he was very busy. The laser tag and bowling here are pretty cool. It's fun and they have a lot of lights. The food and drinks were subpar. Chicken tenders were burned and the ranch was super watery. The alcoholic drinks were okay, but nothing to really go out of your way to buy. The billiards tables are old. They're full of scratches and you have to get on a waiting list to play when it's busy. About 5 of the arcade games were broken and the prize counter is all junk, so don't focus on the tickets as much even though you will stay pay $50+ to play. Honestly, Dave and Busters is much better. We had such a good time here! We came on a Monday before 6pm and were able to get passes for bowling, billiards and laser tag. We didn't end up playing laser tag but we got to bowl for 2 hours and then played pool for another 2. Staff were super friendly and the food was really good! We got small bites and some drinks. We had a really good date night here! We stayed until close to 10pm! Shout out to Kayla at the front desk she was super helpful in explaining how the passes worked and gave really good food recommendations.
