Checking in early like I thought I saw somewhere in my instructions...we arrived at 1145 for 12 reservation. The place opens at 12pm. No biggie. Tre got us taken care of. The music was awesome the TVs had football on!!! Yay! Our food came out timely. The girls had a blast. Tre did it all to make our visit feel like VIP! He got me ice cold beers. He got the dinosaur (assist bowling aid for toddlers) for us. He got bumpers set up for the toddlers. Seemed like I had been to an alley that allowed bumpers per person option in the scoring system. But Tre explained they are up and stay up through the entirety. All in all we had fun. That was the experience we were looking for. The salad was delicious as were the cookies!!! Will look to return if we make it back to the area! Questions reach out Respectfully, Bryan Oklahoma City

Bowling alley was really nice. Me and my friends did the all you can bowl on Friday night and it was worth the money. The drinks were delicious and the arcade that they had was fun as well.

Having a blast being in the Lousy Bowlers League. We will definitely keep doing this. The staff is friendly, the establishment is clean, the pitchers of beer are cold and the french fries ate tasty. We do have an AMC near us, but it's worth the trek to go to this one.

2019 Yelp 120 Challenge - #99 My kickball league had a bowling Christmas party at this location and honestly it was a horrible mess. AMF's bar area was nice and the staff that I encountered were very helpful whenever I asked questions. However; we had a lot of issues. The reason for my low rating were because of the dysfunctional lanes. It took forever to set up the game and input the players names. Our bowling balls kept getting suck at the bottom of the lane and the tables and lanes were horribly organized. Our bowling shoes looked as if they were donations from the goodwill which mean they were very well worn and honestly it was just a complete mess. I have experienced better bowling allies and I would recommend doing your homework on the location or going one day during the week for discounted prices. If not then be expected to transported back into time

The other side of the lanes, still not busy.

I was in a group of at least 9 people, which I get, it's a lot of us. The first guy that we spoke to informed us that we could not all play in the same lane which is fine. We all kinda looked at each other in order to determine what to do next, before anyone could get a word in, another guy (apparently the general manager, goes by Mckee) approached the register and in a very demeaning way said "I don't know what you all smoked or ingested before getting here, but ima need one of you guys to speak up and say something or none of y'all will bowl" we all looked at each other in shock, like was that really needed? No one was rude to him and it was so unprovoked, the place wasn't even busy. He continued to say other things but after that I just stayed focused on that comment. I would definitely NOT recommend this place and will never come here again.

There are a variety of games- PacMan, a foosball like hockey game, racing games, pinball, frogger, shooting games, old classics like Fix-it-Felix, DDR, shooting hoops, skee ball and more! It's relatively clean and employees come help is something is glitchy or a ball is stuck in the basketball game, for example. They play music at an appropriate volume (this place is way less deafening than cidercade, and less crowded too!). I've never had food/ alcohol here so can't speak to that. It's definitely a great place to go, especially with a buddy, to get competitive and just unwind a little! My only complaint- the arrows in DDR are not very sensitive and tend to stick a little on their machines. It's very hard to adjust the initial difficulty level because the DOWN arrow on both sides of their machine is so not-receptive to touch you have to jump on it with intense force to move it from basic to more difficult. I'm actually pretty good at DDR and kept getting BOOS from arrows I was hitting. So just don't come here specifically for a DDR marathon and you won't be disappointed. Everything else was in good working order!

For about $13, you get unlimited free play all day, making it an excellent value. The arcade is a little smaller than some of the other Free Play locations, but it's packed with classic games from the '80s, '90s, and early 2000s, along with a nice selection of pinball machines. There's a full-service bar and food menu. I didn't try the food, but the drinks were reasonably priced. My only complaint is that there aren't many places to set down a drink while playing, so it can feel a bit cramped when it's busy. The arcade is tucked away in an older shopping center, so it's easy to miss if you aren't looking for it. Even with the Father's Day crowd, the staff stayed busy while remaining friendly and the restrooms were clean. Overall, it's a fun and affordable place to spend a few hours, whether you're reliving your childhood or introducing someone else to classic arcade games.

My daughter had a blast. She collected enough tickets to win some cool prizes. Some of the games weren't working, but we got to enjoy most of them. It was a fun way to spend an hour or so.

I took my grandson to NickelRama a little over a week ago, while he was visiting from Ohio…read more Having never been, I had no expectations other than to think we were going to an "arcade." I had looked up NickelRama online just to verify that fact, and in so doing I read that all the arcade games were, go figure, a "nickel!" Anyhoo, what I did not realize was that NickelRama are a chain of "play for tickets" arcades, where one may then redeem the tickets for "prizes," akin to that which one might imagine winning at a carnival "Guess Your Age/Weight Booth," where number of prizes range from a stick of chewing gum or pencil topper on the low end to perhaps something electronic on the far upper end, depending on the number of tickets being redeemed. My grandson was fully aware of what we were getting into, as I quickly learned. After we made entry and each received our initial $10.00 purchase of 200 nickels, presented to us loose, in plastic cups, he immediately began searching the arcade for what he determined to be the game that would result in us accumulating the most tickets. This was not his first rodeo and he certainly knew the "name of the game" was quantity over quality, as far as ticket acquisition goes. The idea that we might challenge one another in some friendly video game mano a mano competition was quickly replaced by us challenging an electronically crafted gizmo to give up the most tickets possible, for later turn-in and prize procurement! As such was inevitable, he found THE game and thus, the challenge was on. It took us each about 45 minutes to burn through our 200 nickels. Well, I actually left the particular game and sought some variety of play, after about 160 or so nickels. That was short lived however, as I quickly realized my grandson's assessment was correct and the game to which he remained attached was the one that was most generous in spitting out tickets. Hence, I returned to sit beside him at the adjacent game and fed the remainder of my nickels into the machine. When our nickel cups were empty, I urged my grandson to walk about and seek out other possible games, but he quietly reminded me none were as generous as the one we'd just left. Still, I was seeking variety so, I enticed him with an additional cup of 100 nickels. He retrieved the cups and we began playing a game somewhat similar to THE game, but as he pointed out it just wasn't as lucrative. So, we went back to the machines we first sat at and fed. After a short period, we both were done and ready to feed our tickets into the Ticket Counters for tabulation. The ticket counters, booth count AND slice the tickets in half so they may not be reused/recounted. As our tickets were counted, he was declared the winner, by his count exceeding mine, by about 800 tickets! In total, we had a combined give or take 5300 tickets, with which he could now utilize to "shop" for prizes. With an "All-in" investment of just at $40, including the $5 entry fee for each of us to the NickelRama, he was able to get a tiny rubber eraser, a pair of large foam dice, and a plastic foam ball pop gun. In the end, I considered it money well spent, since the goal of the trip was to spend some quality time out with my grandson. He had fun and I had fun! He was shown that he was valued by my following his lead in our quest. And, he outperformed me in the acquisition of tickets! If you're looking to spend some time with your little ones and you want them to feel good about themselves, a NickelRama can fill that need! If you go, just keep in mind, that the quality is not in the prizes but in the time spent together! Live well. Be well. Cheers!

This place is incredibly disorganized and honestly feels like a lawsuit waiting to happen. For the amount of money you spend to get in, absolutely nothing here is worth it. Here is what you need to know before you go: * Zero Staff Supervision: There are no staff members supervising the bounce room or the shooting area. Because of this, little kids are running wild with guns everywhere. * Not Teen-Friendly: Because the facility is overrun with unsupervised "littles," teenagers do not have a dedicated or safe place to actually play. If you have older kids, this is definitely not the place for you. * Broken Games: The "video game" area is a joke. They only have 12 older games, and only 4 of them actually work. * No Basic Amenities: There is absolutely nowhere to put your shoes. On top of that, they do not offer any food or drinks for sale, meaning you have to haul everything in yourself. Save yourself the headache and the money. We will not be returning.

Unfortunately, this location was the exact opposite experience. The place was extremely overcrowded, and the pace of play was terrible. Nearly every hole had a backup, and by the end of the round it felt like we were watching putt-putt rather than playing it. What really stands out is that this doesn't seem like a one-time issue. After reading other reviews, I found plenty of people describing the same problems: overcrowding, constant bottlenecks, and long waits between shots. When the same complaint keeps appearing, it's no longer an issue of bad luck, it's clearly a management problem. What's most frustrating is that I've seen Puttshack get this right. The Downtown Atlanta location was busy too, but groups kept moving and the course flowed smoothly. Here, it felt like management kept packing more people into the venue without any concern for the actual guest experience, I mean the whole course moved like rush-hour traffic. Another important note would be the attentiveness of the staff. Even on a Saturday, at 3pm mind you, the lower bar was empty when we walked in, and the staff of three at the upper bar seemed to have issues managing a line consisting of two. I nearly waited 5 minutes for even an acknowledgement, which is not the kind of experience you'd expect BEFORE the evening rush. The technology and courses themselves are great, but that's hard to appreciate when you're spending most of your time waiting for the group ahead of you. For the price, I expected a lot better. Until they address the overcrowding, I'd recommend looking elsewhere. Life is too short to spend it waiting in line between putts.
