They have 4 pool tables, an arcade, and bowling lanes. The price for a full hour of pool was only ~$12. The equipment was so-so. The cue sticks had pretty banged up ends and didn't roll straight. The balls had cracks and divets. The pool table was serviceable enough and they were spaced enough from each other to be very playable without fear of hitting someone from the adjacent table. read more

Checking in early like I thought I saw somewhere in my instructions...we arrived at 1145 for 12 reservation. The place opens at 12pm. No biggie. Tre got us taken care of. The music was awesome the TVs had football on!!! Yay! Our food came out timely. The girls had a blast. Tre did it all to make our visit feel like VIP! He got me ice cold beers. He got the dinosaur (assist bowling aid for toddlers) for us. He got bumpers set up for the toddlers. Seemed like I had been to an alley that allowed bumpers per person option in the scoring system. Honestly ever since they replaced the old gm with the new one (Kyle) along with a new supervisor (Xander), this place has turned it all the way around. The atmosphere and the lanes are just way better than most bowling in the area provide. read more

Having a blast being in the Lousy Bowlers League. We will definitely keep doing this. The staff is friendly, the establishment is clean, the pitchers of beer are cold and the french fries ate tasty. We do have an AMC near us, but it's worth the trek to go to this one. read more

2019 Yelp 120 Challenge - #99 My kickball league had a bowling Christmas party at this location and honestly it was a horrible mess. AMF's bar area was nice and the staff that I encountered were very helpful whenever I asked questions. However; we had a lot of issues. The reason for my low rating were because of the dysfunctional lanes. It took forever to set up the game and input the players names. Our bowling balls kept getting suck at the bottom of the lane and the tables and lanes were horribly organized. Our bowling shoes looked as if they were donations from the goodwill which mean they were very well worn and honestly it was just a complete mess. I have experienced better bowling allies and I would recommend doing your homework on the location or going one day during the week for discounted prices. Here's why 1 star. I think it's shady to add an 18% service charge - aka tip for your service staff - as a line item on a receipt where the drinks are itemized out and not put that "charge" near the subtotal so it's more obvious. I had 3 separate tabs that I tipped more than 20% on each time, example: one tab total was $55 so I generously tipped $20 for a total of $75. Not yet realizing in the list of my drinks 18% was already included. I had two more trips to the bar in which I tipped over 20%, again, not catching that it was already added. I was in a group of at least 9 people, which I get, it's a lot of us. The first guy that we spoke to informed us that we could not all play in the same lane which is fine. We all kinda looked at each other in order to determine what to do next, before anyone could get a word in, another guy (apparently the general manager, goes by Mckee) approached the register and in a very demeaning way said "I don't know what you all smoked or ingested before getting here, but ima need one of you guys to speak up and say something or none of y'all will bowl" we all looked at each other in shock, like was that really needed? No one was rude to him and it was so unprovoked, the place wasn't even busy. He continued to say other things but after that I just stayed focused on that comment. I came here for a work event on a Thursday evening, so it was a light evening. It's an older venue that hasn't been updated in a while, but it's a place for bowling. The boneless buffalo wings were decent, and the pizza was just pizza. You can tell the pros come late in the evening because it started to fill up. I come from a family that owned a couple bowling centers. AMF definitely gave me those nostalgic vibes of growing up with a modern touch. Lanes, food & drinks were great. Best part was the entire staff helped me when I dropped my credit card & it bounced off my foot & slid under the kiosk. To the ownership, you should really take more pride in your company. I've given this establishment at least 4 seasons of league bowling. The staff does not care about this place. The lanes ruin my bowling balls consistently, your pro bowler is too lazy to fix them. There is gunk all over my bowling balls on return, and yet the manager on duty "Jacob" Told me he would take care of this next time. Your "maintenance" is leaning on a pole watching the league bowling... doing nothing to take action. Bulldoze this place down. It's only worth what the ownership puts into it. Oh and Jacob wanted me to make sure his name was mentioned again, as for him, he does nothing to benefit your establishment. I will look for another place to give my money to. This AMF is my least favorite in the DFW area. The lanes are uneven and the balls are disgusting. When asked if they had adult sized 8Lb or 10Lbs they were not able to accommodate. I did not enjoy my experience. read more

My husband and I took our kids bowling and thought the staff was friendly and had a good experience overall EXCEPT for the disturbing music videos playing on the large screens over the lanes. Yikes. Monday madness during the summer! After 10pm, it's just $5 per person for unlimited bowling. What a crazy, great deal. We showed up an hour earlier around 9pm and paid about $14 per person for the same unlimited bowling. The higher rate was still worth it for us old-timers who usually find ourselves in bed around 10:30pm on weeknights. The unlimited bowling is such a luxury. You get to take your time and play as many games as your heart desires. We played about five games. Normally we would rush to get two games played within one hour just so my cheapskate husband could save money. Lol! With unlimited bowling he wanted to keep playing so he could win the series. Sadly for him, I walked away with the crown of victory with 3 wins to his 2. There were so many lanes, and they were situated with a bit of breathing room so you didn't feel like you were playing with the party next to you. The alley had actual tables and chairs that could be moved around and configured how you liked, and since they were staggered with one table moved forward close to the lane, and the next table moved back closer to the back wall, you really didn't feel obligated to make conversation with the group in the next lane over. Strikes (no pun intended) against the alley staff for not clearing the dirty tables. We had to bus someone else's slop off our table. The waitress was rarely seen, so we went directly to the bar to order drinks (full bar) and greasy-spoon food (hamburgers, hot dogs, pizza and sandwiches). The bartender was slow too, and since the bar was located so far from our lane #1, we were forced to pause play for awhile to get food, drink and refills handled. Around 10pm, the place went into dance club mode. The overhead lights were turned off. A black light showed off the white everyone was wearing. Multi colored track lights along the lane and backlights behind the pins flickered and flashed in time to Rihanna's latest hits. Large screens stationed every few lanes showed the corresponding music video. This place was hopping! I can't say the hard margarita, the dancing, strobe lights or thumping beats helped my game, but it was definitely a fun atmosphere...one in which I would gladly partake in again. read more

This review is based on bowling only. We did not eat or utilize the arcade area. My partner and I visited on a Friday night. We had a $20 groupon that gave us shoe rental and a 2 hour bowl. We took full advantage and had a great time. Our lane had some issues twice but it was fixed within a minute. We did order water with lemon and the guy fixing it didn't have on gloves which was not very pleasant. Everyone was wearing masks during the time we were there so that's great. The lanes are already about 6 ft apart so that worked out as well. We will be back! read more

Update: came back with the family for some bowling and dang things have changed. There was only two people working, like no staff at all. With that, I couldn't get a drink within an hour and my kids needed bumpers and took them forever to get them up. I remember this place was amazing with the customer care and service but now you can't expect your table to be clean nor anything getting done in a timely manner. The people that were working did everything they could but they need more people for this. I asked the bartender if it was just her and the person at the front, she said no, there's others here but they're not out here. What are y'all doing then? Your staff is visibly struggling and you're not going to go help them? I've been here twice in the last week and it's just been pitiful both times how things are being ran from the first time we went. My kids go into the arcade and there's broken glass all over the floor and we told the front desk but they didn't even have time to clean it. Won't be back until things are better. read more

We were looking for a bowling alley that had lanes available and this was the only one in the area that did. Now I know why. It's a very clean place and well decorated. If you don't plan on doing the unlimited bowling sessions, prepare to really pay for lane usage. It's quite expensive and definitely more than most other alleys in the area. The one thing that really turned me off to this place and has made me decide to not ever return again was the 'covid fee' that was added to each purchase we made for the food and the bowling. I've never experienced this before and I found it unnecessary to make their customers pay this fee. We had fun bowling and the employees were friendly, but overall it was just 'meh'. read more
