My husband and Mother in law wanted to go bowling and the Lakes Lane were the only one offering a great package to accommodate our family on this day. They were practicing social distancing and there were only 2 families there when we arrived. The pool table and dart area had a very nice setup when you come through the door. My apologies for not having more pic. I took some and obviously didn't save them... My nieces and nephews really enjoyed themselves bowling but mainly I think they were just there for the food lol... some of the lanes were closed off and not being used due to COVID but it was still fun just to be out for a little.

Our friend invited us to a night of bowling. She warned us we were headed to a low rent, smoke filled dive of a bowling alley. She might as well told us she had a winning lottery ticket to split with us - we were all over this joint. Lakes Lanes reminds me of what bowling is - a fun game that has some seriously good players. Lakes Lanes is where you take your custom shoes and custom ball and no one looks twice at you. Beer is cheap, you pick the juke box music and there's not a game of laser tag, laser lights or a cosmo cocktail around. It's perfect in every way, the way things used to be before we became addicted to extra.

Old school bowling alley and everybody is very friendly. The food is fantastic for a bowling alley. Whoever thought a bowling alley would actually have a good food. Will be back! Thanks!

Walked in and immediately had to walk out. I thought I would give this place a shot to appease my no-frills father. Even he couldn't stand it. Overpowering smell of cigarette smoke as you enter. Keep walking and smell the distinct second hand smoke. Absolutely horrible. Clearly not kept up inside or out (trash littered in front of the entrance). Don't waste your time, unless lung cancer is on your list of life wishes.

The race cars are really the main attraction here and the entire place revolves around the racing. You cannot make a reservation. It's a first come, first serve situation. There are four racing categories (see below), so if you come with a group of mixed ages or heights you may not all be able to race together (I've witnessed this shock when birthday parties assume they can race together). The Intermediate and Junior Races are slower than you'd assume. I could jog faster, but the WORST part is the speed. They go so slow and are controlled so it's nearly impossible to pass another racer or actually RACE! The Mini Mario has some speed and speed is adjusted based on the general age of the racers in the heat. The cost is $29 down to $15, which doesn't sound horrible, but after waiting for a long time for your group to be called and then racing for 1min to 7 minutes, the cost is really high! High enough you're not likely to get in line and do it again. CUSTOMER SERVICE: Ugh. There are kiosks and a giant line with actual people at a counter. Don't be mistaken YOU MUST go to the kiosk FIRST and fill out waivers, although there are no signs anywhere telling you that. We've filled out waivers on line before arriving, only to find ourselves at the front of the line and told "we can't find it, now to to the kiosks and get back in line". It's awful. The employees don't seem to like their jobs, or likely are sick of people being upset at them for the HORRIBLE process management has set up. We've never been able to find someone on the floor to help us when a video game eats our money or doesn't work either. The guys in the race area are hit or miss. Sometimes they're patient and kind. Other times they mumble and seem pissed off to be there. GAMES: The video games are the same as other places around town, but after driving all the way out here, searching for parking and then racing for 5 minutes we've always felt like we need to play a few games to make the trip worth it. FOOD: We've never eaten here, but it's basic bar food (hamburger, hot dogs, nachos, etc) and the cost is high for such basic food. We'd rather pay the same amount for better food options in the area. All that to say, expect to spend $$$ to come race, eat and play at Andrettis. Make sure your group has checked the height & age requirements to make sure you can race together. And finally, come with a lot of patience. ----- Race Categories ----- ADULT RACE 7- Minute Heat. Adult Races are for drivers at least 54" Tall and either 18+ yrs old or 15+ yrs old with State Issued Driver's License or Permit. Max Weight: 300 lbs. INTERMEDIATE RACE: 7- Minute Heat. Intermediate Races are for drivers at least 54" tall. Recommended Minimum Age: 12 yrs old. Max Weight: 300 lbs JUNIOR RACE: 7- Minute Heat. Junior Races are for drivers at least 48" Tall. Recommended Minimum Age: 7 yrs old. MINI MARIO KART RACE: 5- Minute Heat. Minimum Height: 36″ Tall. Maximum Weight: 90lbs. Recommended Ages: 4-6 yrs old.

I wish the location was attached to a skating rink or something else retro but physical to make an afternoon of it. Parking is easy, it's next to the library so no charge to park and all access is flat. Overall it's a good visit but will only occupy 1-2 hours.
