This is the worst Bowling facility I've ever went bowling at. It is cramped and you have to climb over your friends every time it's your turn to bowl. On top of that, your lined up sideways so you are directly behind the person bowling and can't see if they are going to hit the pins unless you were standing on the bench. Besides that, looking to your left or to your right ( depending on which side your lane is on), you get a kink in your neck from looking sideways continually! Who thought of this awful way to cram in as many lanes as possible? The games are also never cleaned in between players including the oculus head set and my friend thinks she got lice from it. There are no wipes around to clean the games or the bowling balls and the balls are going on both yours and the other teams side and no way to stop them from using yours! Most of the games are broken or they wont let you play them. I didn't even see them spray the rental shoes when i got them or brought them back. Waste of a lot of money to catch COVID, lice, or athletes foot! read more

If you're going to bowl and drink a beer you may not have a bad time (unless they continually serve the wrong beer) but don't dine as their food and wait staff has always been pretty poor. Do not have a company function here. Food was sitting out a half hour before our scheduled time. Servers were standing right by the table breathing all over the food. One even laid her head down on the table near a plate of food. Needless to say all the food was cold. They failed to tell us we were suppose to be bowling while we are. Giving Pinstack a second chance, it's refreshing to see that they're making improvements to better the customer's experience. My husband and I went mid-week in the early afternoon to go on a date. Rudy and Will, the managers, made sure we had an excellent time and that the customer service provided was top-notch. We ended up bowling for an hour and enjoying their Game Time Nachos (which was amazing and a very filling appetizer for 2) all before hitting up the arcade. We spent just under 2 hours here and enjoyed every minute of it. Tip: If you want a bowling alley and arcade to yourself, come on a Wednesday at 3pm. Because of this experience, I'll definitely come back to Pinstack -- but I'll stick to going during the week when things are chill. read more

minutes ago NEW I give this place 0 stars!!!! Worst service ever! . I would not recommend going here unless you book a day in advance. LITERALLY!!. We had a party of 13 and I was told it would be a 45 min wait. We waited for like 2 hours. There were several tables available and I told them we did not mind being split up. They said that was not possible. I then asked if I could just order something from the bar because I was getting hangry and the hostess told me " You can try" because they usually won't take orders unless I was seated by the hostess. They accommodated a group of 6 before they accommodated us which I found to be rude and honestly thought of it being white privileged. The least they could have done was also ask the manager if it was okay to have our group of 13 hispanic people be split like they accommodated that group of 6 white people. The hostess seemed to not care and smirked at me as we all walked out. We usually love to bring our family and friends to bowl at Pinstack but this location was very disappointing. We had arrived there when it was completely slow and only 5 of us were bowling and we decided to add in an extra hour. We went up to the front desk and weren't acknowledged in the slightest bit. I asked a gentleman if we could add an extra hour and told us to go to another desk and wait in that line, even though he could've helped us out at the computer with no line, but we did anyway. After 20 minutes or so waiting in line, we were up next and seen that the employee helped out a couple of ladies that didn't even wait in line, they just came to the side and we were ignored once again. Then he said that they can't increase the time limit if there's a wait list, which makes no sense if we were already there and had our own lane to begin with. We walked away and went back to our lane and the employees were rushing us out of our lane and said we need to leave since there is a wait time, still not understanding how they're able to add time for new people coming in but can't for the people that had been there at first. Terrible experience, the machines don't even work and wouldn't recommend coming here because it'll end up disappointing your family, friends, and your pockets. read more

A++++ Service!! Went to celebrate my birthday with family and from the time we entered the place until the time we left, the staff was very attentive to our every need. The place was busy but the staff did not skip a beat with the customer service. From the bowling, to the games, to the rock climbing there was staff asking if we needed anything or could they assist, which was greatly appreciated. The food was good, and plentiful. Our drink cups stayed full without having to ask for refills. We were too full for dessert. Kudos to the Manager Will Griffith, and our server Nala for the awesome experience!! I'd never been to a Pinstack before, and was suggested we try this one in Allen. First...it's REALLY pricey. $36 for peak one hour? and $48 for the VIP area? Way too high. We were actually bumped into the VIP area due to a birthday party the person at the desk didn't know had multiple lanes. Cool, but I wonder if the people who designed the concept ever actually bowl? Bowling in the dark in a cramped space isn't anyone's idea for fun. There was service at the VIP area...and the waitress was great. The lanes were most likely just serviced and VERY slick. On the lighting, if you are going to do that, then light up the arrows on the lane at least so bowlers can see where there ball is headed/went. Parking is easy. Lots more to do here than bowl. Didn't try any of the arcade or food area or rock wall/skytrail. Sorry, I'm old school...I probably won't be back. read more

Pinstack is a great place to go to have fun. They have nice attractions such as bowling, a decently sized arcade, a laser tag arena, and even a rope course. The service is pretty good along with the food. The only thing that makes Pinstack a 4 star for me is that you can find better value at somewhere like Main Event and have just as much fun if not more. read more

I had a hard time deciding what to rate this place because we had two completely different experiences in the arcade vs the bar/restaurant. We got there and started off by having some fun in the arcade. They have a nice assortment of physical games (basket ball, obstacle course) and video games. One of my favorites is air hockey and they have a couple tables. They have a fun photo booth as well. Where we were completely turned off was when we went to get a bite to eat before we left. We got a table as soon as we got there, they were not busy. We waited 10 minutes and no one came to see us. I told the guy who seated we hadn't been helped - he apologized and said someone would be with us. Another 5 - 7 minutes passed before out server finally came to take our order. Once we placed the order, the food came out in a decent amount of time and then once again we were forgotten. No one came to check in on us until they brought us the check. The food was decent - nothing amazing but enjoyable. The service was horrendous. This is a place that our friends like and frequent so if we do come again I'll update this review. read more

Just held a company event here of over 30 people. The staff was very nice and organized. They served and cleaned up the private room very promptly. Overall service was great. Food was a 2 star. We had texmex buffet style and a side order of veggie kabobs (all charred and burned), tortillas was hard, chicken was over cooked and steak was really fatty. Not to mention salsa was watery as it came out from a can. Does the cook or anyone actually taste the food before it comes out???? It was pretty bad... We hosted a company party 3 yrs ago with a great experience. However now...Food and service was ok, bowling was ok except we paid for 1-1/2hr and they shut us down after 45 min, we didn't make a big deal as we were celebrating a birthday party. Almost ALL counter tops were sticky and unclean, the bathrooms were unsanitary and disgusting, tape on the floor covering wires and other trip hazards, only one man working the bumper cars, rock climbing and laser tag on a Sat night. The Ninja experience was shut down, bummer. Several games in the arcade were either inoperative or broken to some degree. The goggles on the virtual reality game had jagged plastic that poked my face, seriously!These arcade games are obviously not being maintained at all, period. Some games only let you play for 30 seconds, a ripoff. We had a great time with family, but will never return. Lesson learned! Poorly managed business. Next time will take our business to Strike n reel in Garland. read more

Came here on a Friday night (3/12) with 3 other friends to bowl and drink. We were assigned lane 1, at the very end of the bowling lanes. The family from lane 2 was sitting on our lane and had all their food and drinks on our table. When they saw us approach our lane they started moving all their stuff onto their side. Table was never sanitized and their kids kept running through our side of the lane. This wasn't what spoiled my experience though, wasn't that big of a deal to me but if you come here with concerns about coronavirus and having people respect your personal space this is most likely not the place you'll want to go to. I saw maybe 2 servers the whole time, keep in mind this was on a Friday night at 10pm, when almost ALL of the lanes were being used. Typically there's more than just 2 servers when there's about 20+ groups who will probably order either drinks or food. The one waiter that was serving the lanes on our side of the bowling alley (about 10 lanes I'd say) never came to introduce himself or see if we needed anything. I've worked in food service for multiple years so this would be understandable to me if he was incredibly busy with all the lanes he was looking after but at no point did he seem swamped or in a hurry to help his tables. After 15+ minutes of seeing him casually slowly strolling around we flagged him down and asked him for 2 drinks. 30 minutes passed and we hadn't been brought our drinks, so my friend went to look for him and told him that he didn't want his drink anymore. I still did want my drink, but supposedly they had "ran out of ingredients" and were only serving beer. You'd think that he would at least have the common courtesy to come tell us that we wouldn't be able to get the drinks we wanted, but all he did was ignore our table for the entire time we were there. We requested service through the tablet 3 different times so we could at least ask for some water and sodas but nobody ever came. About 30 minutes before we left I saw a group come in and sit down at one of the lanes. The server took their drink order and somebody else brought them cocktails and shots shortly after. So I guess they do have the ingredients when the drinks are for some pretty white girls... lol If you come here just to bowl, I guess there's really nothing terrible about the experience. But don't come here expecting good service because you definitely won't get it. read more

Chose PinStack to celebrate a birthday. Paid extra for the VIP room. Waited a long time for service..., finally went and got our menus ourselves. Waited for service to order drinks and finally gave up and got them ourselves at the bar. Waited forever to order food and finally had to go find Jesse our waiter to take our order. Food finally came with no napkins or silverware. Had to go get more drinks at the bar ourselves. Men's restroom had NO soap! How are employees washing their hands with NO soap? Food was just ok, surprised I didn't have to go get it myself. This place has horrible service to no service. Management had plenty of excuses and promised to deduct from our bill but then didn't follow through and actually deduct anything. read more

The Mac & Cheese fried balls on a stick were pretty good, same for bacon wrapped jalapeños, pretty much everything was good. Beverage selection is nice, huge full bar display in bar area great view. Once done there we went to gaming area which has plenty of selection of electronic games, bowling, etc. We bowled for about an hour before calling it a day, again staff was attentive throughout our stay. Ever heard of Family Fun Center? No, what about Main Event? Well, Pinstack is the same thing. All offer bowling, drinks, restaurant, laser tag, ropes course and arcade games. We've been watching with anticipation as they built this place and assumed it would be more of an adult place, but when we arrived slightly dressed up for date night we immediately realized it's definitely a family joint. That's not a bad thing at all, we've got kids. Bowling was a lot more pricey than we anticipated it being for just the two of us so we grabbed dinner at the bar and played some arcade games instead. ~Update since speaking to Will from Pinstack~ It turns out the prices we were shown were VIP prices not regular bowl prices and thus my assumption that it would be RIDICULOUSLY expensive to have a date night or family night here were a little skewed. It's still a steep night, but not a steep $75 for a couple as I originally thought. During peak hours, which are 5pm on Friday through all day Sunday, bowling is $36/hr + $4 per shoe rental. Any other time is considered non-peak and is instead $20/hr. That does not include food or drink so you are still looking at $84 for two hours of family (of four) fun night. If you are coming with others and can split the costs I think it's would be a fun night of laughs and memories, or if your kiddos are older and you want to get them out of the house for some entertainment and fun I could see this being the place to go. read more

I recently had my son's 13th birthday here. I was only able to get a 10am party time! That is because I waited till the same week to book the party. 10am might be early but we had the whole place to ourselves till about 11:00am! The place opens at 10am but the staff were all there before 9:45am. Our party hosts were the best! They got all the boys their bowling shoes, set up the names on our 2 lanes( each party is guaranteed 2 lanes), and kept refilling their drinks( which they labeled with their names). All the plates, napkins, and forks were already in the room. I was very impressed. I didn't have to do anything but take pictures. The pizza comes with mozzarella sticks. Each kid gets 2 slices of pizza. I recommend ordering more food if you have older kids. The pizzas are really small. You are only allowed to bring a cake from outside. DONT FORGET CANDLES! I did and they only gave me 1 candle. HAHA its okay my son and his friends laughed about it. After your done eating the kids get their gaming cards and you leave the party room. I took all the jackets and just sat at the little tables by the gaming area. The package I got allowed the kids to do 4 activities once(laser tag, bumper cars, rope, rock wall). The kids can also go up to any server and get a soda while they are using their game cards. The kids had a blast! I felt like I was there forever but they have a bar so I had a drink and ordered food. Arrival time:9:45am Bowling 10-11:00am Party room with food 11-11:45am Gaming cards 11:45-2:45pm Even though the time was early the place wasn't crowded so I would pick that time again. There is a service fee in the price that I thought went to the hostesses but apparently only some of it does. I would check to see how much your hostess is receiving because it might not be enough for how well they take care of your party. Recommendations to Pinstack: Add a birthday shout out on the TV screens to the birthday child. Add a package for longer bowling times and shorter gaming times. read more

My husband and I decided to walk over to your Allen facility. We live in the Senior Residence behind your facility. We knew it was 1/2 price on Tuesday and we are VIP members because e we use to take our grandkids there all the time. There was no one there, after playing a few games, we noticed that most of the games were either out of order or not turned on. We only found 5 games workable!!!! Be discounting!! 3 went to "out of order" after we played them once. If e ever have time to do this again, we will be going to another location. Just an FYI..... offer a "Senior Citizen" day with 12 price games and 1/2 price foods. We aren't the only seniors looking for fun close by and walkable!!! You have a great clientele close by. Where to begin. We decided to do VIP lanes because they advertise them as getting better service. We started bowling and the lane broke 10 minutes in. They tried fixing it for 30 minutes (see pics below) as our time ticked away and we had to track someone down to get us a different lane and to fix our time since we wasted 30+ of the 1.5 we paid for. They never ended up putting the full 30 minutes (they said 10 was the best they could do). All of this might have been ok had we gotten the food and drinks we ordered. As we waited 30+ min, our "elevated experience" with a waiter was terrible. We ordered pretzel bites that took 45 minutes to be served, only to be told the kitchen was backed up when the table next to us got pizza, onion rings, wings, etc. Neither our waiter nor the staff did anything to compensate the entire mess of a situation.
