I'll start if by saying, I work in Irving literally down the street from the Pinstack in Las Colinas. We live in Plano so our typ go-to is Pinstack Plano. So we do Pinstack a lot. Like seriously a lot. This week we decided to check out the new location in Allen. And it did not disappoint. We planned on bowling but decided to grab some food first. We ended up spending the majority of our time in the restaurant!! Had probably the best service we've had at any location. Always ask to sit in Brianna Copeland section. She was amazing, super friendly, knowledgeable, made great suggestions. Allen is our new location for sure. read more

Great atmosphere! Took my wife and teenage daughters for food and fun. The food was ok, but the amenities were great! The Rock Wall and Ropes course were a blast and for a Saturday night from 9:30pm-1am the crowd was minimal....no wait for either of these attractions!! One of their employees, Ruad was exceptional! Very helpful and knowledgeable concerning the attractions and their safety features and very friendly. We met up with friends at Pinstack Allen on a Saturday night. We made a reservation for a couple of lanes and with about an hour to wait, we decided to grab a bite to eat. We went to the hostess and let her know we had a combined total of 19 and she let us know they could not accommodate a group over 10 people. We quickly said "no problem" and offered to split into families to make it work. She didn't cooperate with that idea and we then were offered the manager to discuss. The manager with this hands up in resignation to the situation said it was corporate policy that he could not serve us. We had "already established" we were a group of 19, so even splitting up into families, they would not serve us. THE RESTAURANT WAS EMPTY! Needless to say, this establishment did not get our business. A corporate policy and/or a unreasonable manager who has no desire for actual customer service. My family and I went here for a small birthday bowl and had a blast. Our server Xavier came to our lane before we had even started bowling and took our drink and food orders. It was my 21st birthday and I had a watermelon mule (vodka drink) which was fantastic. We bowled for and hour then went over to the arcade and had a blast. They have a row of pinball machines all varying in themes from Game of Thrones to Aerosmith, an entire ropes course above the arcade games, laser tag, bumper cars, and a whole rock climbing wall! I was so impressed with this place because I'm used to the seedy small town bowling alleys with a few broken down arcade games scattered about but this place was so fun and classy, I can't wait to come back! read more

The arcade is pretty fun, with a plethora of machines, the prices aren't that good - but that's expected. Bowling here is pretty fun, it's pretty sanitary fun and relatively cheap. The food seems to be on the higher end of the spectrum - in terms of cost. The quality isn't so great - but it's not bad. Service is top tier. All I can complain about are the bathrooms and the price. Otherwise it's pretty decent. read more

Initially this place is awesome! We went to bowl with 6 people. The guy at the counter, Devon, was nice but so soft spoken I couldn't hear anything he said. I had to ask him to repeat what he was saying several times. After he gave us shoes I asked him whst lane. Not very nicely he said, "I said lane 10." After bowling only a couple frames, the machine that picks up the pins started dropping the pins. It actually dropped 6 pins on my son so he took the spare since they ALL dropped. After several episodes of our pins falling, they moved us to a different lane. They charge by time so needless to say, we wasted about 15 minutes just waiting and talking to staff. After 1hour and 32 minutes from when we paid at 3:03pm, our scoreboard flashed "5 more minutes". WTH? My wife went up to complain and they "added" an hour. Overall, it was just a frustrating afternoon bowling here. At least the new lane didn't keep messing up. I don't know if I'll ever go back there. I enjoy going to Splitsville in Fairview. I've never had problems there. They don't have all the arcade stuff but they have pool tables. read more

Really not a good place for bowling. My score reflects their bowling alleys. They are not properly oiled. The wood sticks to your shoes like rubber. This bowling alley is for amateurs. Those that do not know how to bowl. The crowds are adolescents without supervision. I've been bowling for 30 years. And I will not bring my family back again. Sorry PIN STACK. You Loose!! read more

This is a great place in a way that they have nice,spacious bowling lane, fun arcade area with tones of the machines. People are nice but our lane here was broken. Awesome experience! Tried out the rock climbing wall, bumper cars, ropes course and arcade games. They even have a few VR games in the arcade. Highly recommend playing the King Kong game, it was very realistic and fun! You can definitely spend hours playing here without being bored. Will be going back for sure. read more

The service was horrible. There was only two tables that had guests. My son and I approached the hostess station only to wait for several minutes. When the young female hostess came out from the back to greet us, the guests from the only two tables were leaving. I requested a table for two, she said it would be a few minutes because she had to bus the tables. The date was July 29, 2022 at 2 pm with no others waiting and a relatively empty restaurant. I asked if we could sit at the bar, she said yes, but we have to wait to be seated. She bused one of the tables and a gentleman from the back bused the other table. The restaurant was completely empty at this point. She returned and was indecisive as to where to sit us. I asked her what logic she was using to leave two paying customers waiting while she had empty tables, no other customers and had help bussing the tables. She replied, we have different opinions. At this point we left the restaurant. Obviously she is a paid employee that has no commitment to quality service or the profit margin and success of the business. read more

It's a new location... and I guess it is hot and happening because there was going to be a 2 hour wait on a Saturday night. You can't call to make a reservation, so I suggest getting there early or not going on a weekend night. There's a lot to do there in the mean time, but I didn't feel like spending tons of money on arcade games and alcoholic beverages. Still, there are plenty of activities at this place besides just bowling. Anyway, my friend didn't want to wait, so he paid for us to upgrade to the VIP area. I guess the only perk of the VIP area is that you don't have to wait 2 hours, you can get right in. When my girlfriend had called earlier to see if they did reservations, she asked what the perks of VIP were. The person she talked to told her that there was shuffleboard. I guess that's about it. We did have our own server, but he was missing most of the night. There were not a ton of people in VIP, but we were definitely not getting that VIP treatment. I did see that the people on the lane next to us got the wrong order because he had written it down wrong, but they decided to keep it because why go through the hassle considering the man was missing half of the night. Bar service wasn't much better. We did decide to go to the bar to get drinks since it was taking so long for our server to come check on us. They were a little faster than the VIP server, but my girlfriend and friend who went up to the bar missed at least two frames waiting on the three drinks (we had six people in our party, so missing one frame wouldn't have bothered me, but it was more than that). Anyway, I have heard the other location is awesome, and I'm sure once they work out the kinks here, this location will be awesome too. Like I said, they have so much to do here. I'd like to come back and check out all of that stuff, but I might just drive down the road next time I want to bowl... Main Event is just down the road. read more

My nephew LOVED this place. There's just so much to do for kids and adults alike. For the kids, there is a huge arcade area that not only includes games, but also bumper cars, rock climbing, laser tag, and rope obstacle course. OMG. If I was a kid, I'm sure I would have loved it. But now that I'm approach 30, I found myself loving the high table and chair where I can watch my nephew go crazy around the area. We bought him a play card for $50 and that provided plenty of credit to use all around the arcade. In addition to the arcade area, there is a legit bowling alley, as well as a bar for the adults. I was more interested in the gelato station they had going on. On that Saturday night we went, it was pretty crowded and a little hard to find parking. My nephew went earlier that week during the day and I heard it was super empty and they were the only ones there. Overall, this place was impressive. Even though I don't really do stuff like this anymore, this is definitely a great place to take the kids so they can go crazy and have fun. Thank goodness they have a bar. Have fun! read more

I would not recommend this place to anyone who is somewhat familiar with bowling and/or bowls with a hook. It certainly did not have the best lanes. I'm unsure if I just went at a bad time, 7:30pm on a Wednesday (which would seem to be a relatively peak hour), but the lanes had little to no oil and did not seem to even be real wood. Fun atmosphere, but horrible service and hospitality. My group and I had only been playing for 20 minutes until our lane and the lane next to ours broke. We waited 15 minutes before anyone did anything about it. Our time continued to run while we were waiting for their inconvenience. They only fixed it after 20 minutes, and added our time back on. I only asked for two comped fries for the inconvenience, and after the rest of our 40 minute game had ran out, we still have not received the fries. Completely unacceptable and bs. I had to talk to about 4 different people, including two managers. My group didn't ask for much, but did not receive anything. I will not be coming back ever. If you come, I do not recommend ordering French fries. read more

I went here for a team building event with my work group and it was amazing! The staff was so alert, attentive and watchful they were available for our every needs and so friendly while doing it. The food was great we had fajitas, beans, queso, bacon wrapped chicken and jalapenos on a stick, quesadillas and so much more. This place is horrible. Let's start with the fact I am talking about the Plano location. Their level of service and care to the customer is horrible. Food is less than desirable and they have Managers that cant make a $36.00 decision. My family went there to have some fun after Thanksgiving there were family members that came from out of town. We had a fun bowling tournament going on and was close to running out of time. We asked to extend our time and we would gladly pay. They said no! We said rather you kick us off and get another group you are still making the same amount and we would like to Finish our game. Again no We spoke to the manager and he was not empowered to make a $36.00 decision. I sent the GM an email and still haven't received a response. They don't like customers! My whole family was disappointed and this place ruin our time to spend together as a family. We will never set foot in this establishment again! read more

We had a really enjoyable time hanging out at Pinstack with our family over the holidays. Couple of issues though: first we had a lane jam (gate stuck) that would have easily been corrected with a pin reset at other lanes and it took several minutes to get help. Second the food service was very slow - we ordered appetizers and a pizza and it took about 40 minutes to arrive. We were discouraged from ordering anything additional and were told "the kitchen is backed up 30 minutes." When we finished bowling we left to go somewhere else to get food. Posh looking bowling alley and arcade game arena with sub-par food and service. Went on a Friday evening only to be told that the wait time was over 2 hours. So, went back again on a Saturday morning when it was not so crowded and when we could clearly see the bowling lanes being open only to be told that the wait time was over an hour. We decided to kill some time at the arcade games area (I have a strong feeling that they do this to direct people to spend time at the gaming area). A little overpriced place too. Food is your typical bar food. We got a couple of pizzas, some appetizers, sandwich, and fries. It was all average but, we were not expecting gourmet food anyway. We love this location! Will, Merk and Dominik handled a minor customer service issue with expert care and attention. The food here is great and consistent. Variety of activities offered, more than at competing entertainment centers. We spend a lot of family time in places like this and Main Event fails in every way compared to PINSTACK!
