Awesomely good food, excellent coffee, real Italian style and the perfect environment for breakfast, lunch or dinner! Cozy, clean and original in every single spot that you look at. TOP CROISSANTS IN MIAMI

Great new addition to the neighborhood! We live next door and it's good to have this nearby. Great salads and panini with a view of the bay. The owner is absolutely lovely. We loved sitting outside with a glass of wine and listening to the DJ looking out at the park and the bay. Nice crowd starting to show up both at the indoor and outdoor tables.

Overpriced food. Not great place except the view is nice. Coffee was disappointing as well.

Best sandwiches I've tried in Miami. The bread is delicious and the owners are very friendly and welcoming. They are also pet friendly!

Because 4.5 stars is not an option, and the service deserves 5 stars…read more.. A very small tucked away place, quiet and simple... as opposed to the few restaurants across the street. The little grandma was so friendly and sweet, and was kind enough to refill my coffee mug with extra milk. And she even steamed it before refilling for me! That's the kind of service you don't really get anymore without either paying an arm and a leg or just have to go without these days. The food gets 4 stars because the hash brown could be a little less oily and the palmas steak could be a little more tender. Otherwise, the flavor and the amount is amazing... The prices deserves 5 stars in this economical climate and I'm shocked they can be this cheap in this neck of the woods but I appreciate it nonetheless. My only complaint is actually the mosquitoes... I got 6 bites in the 30mins while I ate there. I didn't dock off any stars for that because it is Miami with an open front, but beware if you are a mosquito magnet...

Stumbled around this little restaurant while searching for lunch for a day in Miami. We wanted…read moreCuban food and this was perfect. It was lunch time and the place was actually empty so we were skeptical but gave it a try anyways. Definitely looks like a family owned and family-run restaurant. The menu has a lot of choices. I believe the main dishes were only available for dinner so we went with the breakfast and lunch option. Steak, egg, toast, coffee- hubby got this breakfast special and the portion was huge! Look at the plate. It was a big slice of steak, 2 eggs (scrambled) fries, a side of bread and a cup of coffee. We could have totally shared the one entree and be full for 2 people! The price definitely beats the portion. Steak sandwich- I got the sandwich which was also big in portion. It came with chips fries on top. The sandwich had onions and lettuce, tomatoes. It may not be the tastiest meal but it def satisfied our belly and our wallet. The service was great. The guy who took our order was very nice and the lady seems like she didn't speak a lot of English. The food was not salty so more on the bland side so you can definitely dress it up with sauce. We would definitely stop by here again if in town to try their dinner menu. Price definitely is great for budget friendly people :)

The waitresses were very sweet and gave me some great recommendations on the sandwiches to try here. They didn't disappoint here and give you a lot of food for the price. What surprised me was how good their drinks were. Had a Cuban coffee for the first time after dinner - on the sweeter side for an espresso, but quite balanced. I also got a strawberry milkshake, which is less thick than what you would expect but tasted phenomenal and had real chunks of strawberry mixed in. Will definitely be coming back in the future!

Unfortunately, during our visit, there was a man being extremely rude to the woman working there. Seeing how uncomfortable she was, we felt like we had to step in and defend her. Everything else about our experience was great, but it did make me think they should have some kind of system where employees can quickly request backup or assistance when needed, especially when working alone in the express section since it's somewhat separated from the main restaurant. Aside from that situation, we had a good experience. There's plenty of outdoor seating and parking available, which is always a plus. I would definitely come back!

On this last trip, we ordered the Special Cuban sandwich is their larger version of the famous Cuban or Cubano sandwich. We also ordered the Versailles Combo Appetizer which includes a beef empanada, a chicken empanada and a ham and cheese empanada. You also get the yucca fries with the cilantro sauce. And finally you get some croquettes. Not a huge fan of the croquettes here but they are OK. As previously mentioned, we have been here several time and on this trip, the hostess said if you want to be in the room of mirrors. What? I said OK and they took us to the back, where it is a, well... room of mirrors. The way she said it made me think, should I be concerned. But it was a big open area. The whole place is very nice. We love the large parking area because this place is packed most of the time. We actually came back and ordered another Cubano for the flight home. You should have seen the people looking at us while we ate our Cubano and they enjoyed their pretzel braids. :)

But I have a flight to San…read moreFrancisco today, so my wife and I finally decided to hit it for lunch before heading to the airport. Let me tell you: this place is LEGIT locals. There is absolutely nothing touristy or manufactured about it. Stainless-steel tables, red plastic baskets, a busy counter, family photos covering the walls and a dining room full of people who clearly come here all the time. And the sandwiches are HUGE. Enriqueta's, opened in 1964, is best known for its Cubano and pan con bistec, but Rachel and I shared a medianoche, a tortilla con chorizo y queso and something called the "Super Cheese" with bacon. That last one is basically an enormous griddled pile of bacon and molten cheese barely contained by Cuban bread. I also grabbed some empanadas to take on the plane. The tortilla was beautifully browned, packed with chorizo and cheese, and substantial enough to be a meal by itself. The medianoche had the proper soft, slightly sweet bread, pressed crisp around a serious amount of pork, ham, Swiss, mustard and pickles. Nothing dainty happening here. The iced café con leche is also extremely strong. I will not be falling asleep on the flight out. Best of all, we got to meet the boss herself, Lucia Plá, the beloved matriarch on Saturday morning, greeting customers. Her husband, who bought the diner in 2000, Jose Luis, passed in 2019. This is the classic Cuban diner experience--a completely different vibe from Versailles or La Carreta. Smaller, more personal and much more like Puerto Sagua: a real neighborhood restaurant serving real people, with no interest in becoming a theme park version of itself. I'll definitely be back.
